Blanka Hašková se kadeřnicí učit nechtěla. Obor ji nebavil a tak k němu i přistupovala. Když jí ale ve škole dali najevo opovržení, rozhodla se, že všem ukáže. A ukázala. Ještě během studií začala jezdit po kadeřnických soutěžích. Dnes je pětinásobnou mistrní republiky v účesové tvorbě a spolumajitelkou kadeřnického salonu. Díky svému umění se navíc stala součástí řady televizních projektů, jako je Miss České republiky, Superstar nebo taneční soutěž StarDance.

V Srbsku se školy dělí na prorežimní a protirežimní, snaží se předehnat a děti jsou tak vzdělanějšíChorvatská společnost se radikalizuje, v Srbsku je to podobné – a přece to není černobílé. „Čekala jsem, že když si v Bělehradu řeknu v hospodě kapele o to, aby zahrála píseň z Dalmácie, že dostanu pár facek, ale nic se nestalo,“ říká v nejnovější epizodě sourozeneckého podcastu Hej, Slované spisovatelka Blanka Čechová. Douhodobě žije v Chorvatsku, nyní ale zažívá veliký autorský úspěch v Srbsku. „Jsem fascinovaná tím, jak vysoká je v Srbsku kultura čtení a kolik toho znají děti. Tam ještě platí, že chceš-li něco dokázat, musíš být sečtělý,“ dodává. O předsudcích mezi životem v Česku, Chorvatsku a Srbsku s ní hovoří bratři Jakub a Lukáš Novosadovi.Svět zažívá krizi čtení. Tvrdí se, že mládež není schopna číst dlouhé texty, že kvůli tomu, ale i kvůli dopadům umělé inteligence mizí zájem o literaturu a knihy jako médium ztrácejí na síle. Na západním Balkáně to ale (prozatím) neplatí. „Jdete po Bělehradě, a tam je spousta kaváren s knihkupectvími, kde lidé sedí, pijí kávu a čtou si. Knihu si často nekoupí, ale čtou. Výsledkem je, že je tam ohromně sečtělá společnost a že i děti nebo studenti gymnázia mi kladou velmi poučené otázky, které nedostávám ani v Česku,“ vyráví Blanka Čechová. A doplňuje další nečekané skutečnosti: „Na čtení tam má vliv i politika, protože školy se dělí na pro-Vučić a anti-Vučić – a ty antiškoly samozřemě usilují dokázat, že jsou lepší, což si ty první školy nechtějí nechat líbit. Takže politika tam nepřímo roztáčí míru vzdělanosti.“ Lukáš přiznává překvapení, Jakub doplňuje, že toto je jeden z předsudků, který vůči Balkánu na Západě chováme: že jsou to kulturní barbaři, třebaže je to přesně naopak.Debata ovšem nezůstává pouze u literatury, dotýká se třeba i sportu a toho, jak se promeňuje vztah srbské společnosti k srbské tenisové hvězdě Novaku Djokovićovi. „On si dovolil odstěhovat se do Atén, zbavit se investic v Srbsku a být čím dál více protirežimní,“ tvrdí Jakub. „A pak to konkrétně vypadá tak, že Novak hraje finále gradnslamu a nikde ten zápas nevysílají. Režimní média nekoupila práva a neusilují o ně, protože nechějí ukazovat Djokoviće,“ vysvětluje absurdní situaci Čechová. Platí to ale i obráceně? Lukáš se ptá například po tom, jaký je vztah Srbů třeba k chorvatské fotbalové hvězdě Luku Modrićovi.Jakub také poprvé přiznává, že se proměňuje vztah místních k cizincům. „Už mi v Chorvatsku předhazují, že mluvím bělehradsky. Dřív to nebylo, ale už to je. I na tom je vidět, že se společnost radikalizuje,“ dodává. Aneb konečně podcast, který vám poví, co jste netušili.

Cyber Witch is also a curator and resident at Radio Flouka, where she hosts ‘Witchy Hour', a monthly show dedicated to spotlighting talents from the underground electronic scene across the region. She also played with countless touring DJs, from Answer Code Request to Antony Parasole, which ultimately inspired her move to Berlin. That relocation has firmly paid off. It's a testament to Pacho's talent that you'll find her playing pretty much every big club and festival across Europe, from Berghain and Dekmantel to FOLD and Monument (we were exhausted just looking at her upcoming listings on RA).
