Rachel has so much knowledge and experience which is why we have discussed several interrelated topics over the 3 podcasts. In this episode we focus on disrupted sleep, the process of natural  melatonin and cortisol to support and regulate the sleep pattern and the wake pattern in correlation with the circadian rhythm. We talk about natural light vs artificial light to support people who are bed bound or light sensitive, meeting the person where they are with their chronic illness. Rachel and I discuss the benefits of introducing light during sunrise to release the natural cortisol triggering the healthy cortisol awakening response. Rachel explains how having mobile phones and wearing smart watches during the night causes sleep disruption, this is because they are all connected to the wifi and emit electromagnetic frequencies, these can destabilise electrons, she explains how if you have MCAS the electrons are already destabilised.We discuss the importance of food for energy and the cortisol levels and avoid low blood sugar levels which takes the body into "fight or flight". Thus we have Sun's rays falling at the feet of the Idol on a particular time of the day, five times a day, where shadow doesn't fall despite in the Sun…. I have written many articles on this. Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, Madurai,Tamil Nadu is dedicated to Devi as Meenakshi and Her Consort,Siva as Somasundara. This temple has many unique features including the fact that the One thousand pillared hall's replica is found in Central America. The temple has four towers, Gopurams. They are atleast 45 metres in height. Yet, you can see the Sunrise and Sunset from the Centre of the temple.The reason is that it is built at an angle of 23 and a half degrees coinciding with the axis of earth. Other temples are built without an angle with respect to rising and setting of the Earth's Axis. This temple is built very straight to north and south. ‘It was just before 500 years that Galileo discovered that the Earth's rotational axis is tilted at an angle of 23.5 degree to the ecliptic plane. Calculating this tilt, 1000 years before the architectures made the N-E-W-S directions exactly with 180 degree and constructed these gopurams. I had another episode planned for this week, and I've decided to postpone it. Instead, I'm pausing for a life and a death. For those of you who may not have seen my post on social media, my mom's husband of almost 30 years passed away on Monday, September 26th. I just didn't feel it was right to move forward with business as usual without taking a pause from the schedule. This is an impromptu shortcast as I pause out of respect and reflection. Two weeks ago, Sunrise DC—a chapter of the climate action group Sunrise Movement—announced it would not participate in a voting rights rally because of the involvement of Zionist organizations, specifically naming three Jewish groups: the Jewish Council on Public Affairs, the National Council of Jewish Women, and the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. This decision prompted immediate backlash and provoked a heated discussion: Some critics accused Sunrise of antisemitism for singling out Jewish groups without remarking on the Israel politics of non-Jewish groups associated with the rally, while others argued that the move was not antisemitic but simply unstrategic. Five days later, Sunrise DC put out a new statement apologizing for having “fueled antisemitism,” while also reaffirming a commitment to anti-Zionism and Palestine solidarity.
