WWE Attitude Years Recap | SmackDown! 9/14/2000 – Edge & Christian Troll Hardyz, Eddie Loses His Damn Mind, Taker Murders The RockThis ain't your PG-era kiddie show. This is 2000 WWE at its most unhinged—and we're diving straight into the madness of SmackDown! from September 14, 2000, where the chaos was loud, horny, violent, and wildly inappropriate. In other words: perfect.
WWF Raw Is War is live in Lexington, Kentucky on September 4, 2000!Test reveals that he called the cops on Triple H on WWF SmackDown! Kane battles Chris Benoit for the #1 Contendership but Benoit nails Kane with a Steel Chair and Rock lands a Rock Bottom to the monster. The Acolytes take on The Dudley Boyz in a Tables Match. WWF Intercontinental Champion Chyna defends against Kurt Angle and Eddie Guerrero. Test battles Triple H. Right to Censor try to recruit Val Venis. WWF Hardcore Champion Steve Blackman defends against Big Boss Man. Road Dogg and Val Venis team up against RTC and after the match, RTC drag Val Venis into a truck. Jerry the King Lawler teams up with Chris Jericho against Tazz and Naked Mideon. And in the main event, WWF Tag Team Champions Edge and Christian defend against The Undertaker and WWF Champion The Rock in which Kane and Chris Benoit get involved.
The 200th edition of TNA Wrestling Impact took place on July 30th, 2009! Bobby Lashley just came into the company and turned down the invitation to join the Main Event Mafia. At the top of the program, Mick Foley runs down the Main Event Mafia and claims they don't care about anything but money and ratings. Tonight he challenges Kurt Angle to put his World Title & Kevin Nash to put his Legends Titles on the line in a tag team match. It's Mick Foley & Bobby Lashley vs Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash in the main event. Also, Eric Young is the leader of the new group The World Elite. He says he's tired of being the funny “HAHA” guy and shaves his head live on TV. AJ Styles and Matt Morgan start a Best of 3 Series with the winner getting a World Championship Match! Plus, Super Mex Hernandez makes it known that he wants to become TNA World Champion. And don't forget, this is the infamous episode where Team 3D puts the IWGP Tag Team Titles on the line without the permission of New Japan Pro Wrestling. On February 1st, 2001 WWF SmackDown! was taken to the XTREME! This is the one and only episode of SmackDown that they called Xtreme! Why was it called this? It's not an ECW reunion show, as ECW was still in business. Every match isn't a hardcore gimmick match. It has a lot to do with the TV show Friends & Survivor both airing at the same time. Also, the XFL is premiering this weekend and it was a good idea to promote it! The show opens with The Dudleys defending the Tag Team TItles against the Hardy Boyz in a tables match. It's not the best tables match, but there are some crazy spots that have never been done before or since this match. Also, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H are not allowed to touch at all or severe consequences will be upon both of them. Stone Cold takes over Triple H's locker room and then takes a massive dump in the bathroom. At one point during the night Austin shakes up 2 beer cans and sprays them on Hunter. But remember, Triple H can't touch The Rattlesnake. As Mr. McMahon is leaving for the night, Stephanie approaches him and asks that Triple H get added to the main event WWF title match, with Kurt Angle defending against The Rock. Mr. McMahon agrees and the match is set. In the main event, as the ref is knocked down, Kurt Angle pins Triple H. Stone Cold enters the ring and makes a fast count with the ref's hand. Kurt Angle retains the title and Triple H is livid! Plus, Kane and The Undertaker battle Rikishi and Haku in a First Blood match!⦁ Deadlock Discord: https://discord.gg/E4BvR4W ⦁ Deadlock Shop: https://shop.deadlockpw.com ⦁ Deadlock Patreon: https://patreon.com/deadlockpw ⦁ Deadlock Twitter: https://twitter.com/deadlockpw ⦁ Deadlock Instagram: https://instagram.com/deadlockwrestling ⦁ Deadlock Reddit: https://reddit.com/r/deadlockpw ⦁ Deadlock Pro Wrestling: http://deadlockpro.com

(STINGER: AEW) A special Friday Night Dynamite tonight, starting at 10PM Eastern. And there's a new match just added to the show on Thursday - Red Velvet vs. The Bunny. Also tonight…the Young Bucks vs. Pac & Penta El Zero Miedo… Dustin Rhodes vs. Nick Coromoto in a Texas Bullrope Match… Christian Cage & Jungle Boy vs. Private Party... Cody Rhodes and Lee Johnson vs. QT Marshall and Anthony Ogogo A championship celebration for the new AEW Women's Champ Dr. Britt Baker. We'll hear from Mark Henry on AEW TV for the first time. AEW regular Madi Wrenkowski says she'll miss 4-6 weeks of action due to a fractured nose. (STINGER: Impact) The main event of Impact's Against All Odds show is in some doubt. Moose is set to challenge Kenny Omega for the Impact World Championship...but on last night's Impact...the main event between Moose and Sami Callihan was interrupted by Omega and the Good Brothers. They attacked Moose. That meant a DQ victory for Callihan. Scott D'Amore now wants to add Callihan to the title match at Against All Odds - making it a 3-Way. Don Callis says AEW Owner Tony Khan won't want Callihan wrestling Omega. D'Amore responded by saying Khan will be on next week's Impact so D'Amore can pitch adding Callihan in-person. The Knockouts Title Match at Against All Odds may also see a late change. Rosemary and Havok will meet on next week's Impact. If Havok wins, she gets added to the Title Match at Against All Odds. If Rosemary wins, she gets Deonna Purrazzo all to herself. Josh Alexander is still the X-Division Champion. He survived a 60-Minute Iron Man Match against TJP last night. It began on Before The Impact...and extended into the opening minutes of Impact's main show...and then it went into overtime. Alexander held a 1-0 lead...and had TJP in an ankle lock...but TJP managed to reverse it into a rollup with just seconds left on the clock to even the match and force overtime. In OT, Alexander hit Divine Intervention...and pinned TJP for the win. Fire n' Flava beat Jordynne Grace & Rachael Ellering to retain the Knockouts Tag Titles. Grace took the pin. Kimber Lee & Susan will get the next title shot at Against All Odds. Rich Swann was set for a match against W. Morrissey...but Morrissey attacked Swann before the match...brawled with security...and the match never happened. Willie Mack eventually ran off Morrissey. That'll be the match on next week's Impact...and they'll try again with Swann vs. Morrissey at Against All Odds. Another title match announced last night for Against All Odds: Rhyno & Deaner defending the tag titles against Crazzy Steve & Black Taurus. Jake Something beat Rohit Raju in a Tables Match. Satoshi Kojima blew through Deaner to win his Impact in-ring debut. We also got the first vignette promoting the Impact debut of Steve Maclin - the former Steve Cutler of WWE's Forgotten Sons. Impact announced last night a limited number of fans will be in attendance for the Slammiversary pay per view in Nashville on July 17th. (STINGER: New Japan) The aforementioned Kojima will appear on tonight's New Japan Strong. He'll tag with Karl Fredericks against Team Filthy's JR Kratos and Danny Limelight. A few other news bits from Japan… Kzy (kay-zee) is the winner of Dragon Gate's King Of Gate tournament. He defeated Kota Minoura (mee-NOR-ah) in the final match on Thursday. (STINGER: ROH) This weekend's Ring Of Honor TV has the first match in the Survival Of The Fittest tournament: Flamita vs. Rey Horus. Also, a Pure Rules Match between Silas Young and Josh Woods. One other ROH note from earlier this week. O'Shay Edwards has apparently joined Shane Taylor Promotions. Major League Wrestling is bringing in one of the hottest names on the U.S. independent scene - Lee Moriarty...and will debut with MLW at its show in Philadelphia on July 10th. Moriarty was one of TWO new names revealed during Round 3 of MLW's Open Draft. Aramis (air-uh-MEEZ) is also joining the league...under a multi-year deal. MLW confirmed two names returning to MLW for its summer restart: Zenshi...and Savio Vega. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Friday, June 4. The biggest surprise on the list is Braun Strowman - who was carrying the Universal Championship less than a year ago. Also released...Aleister Black...Lana...Murphy...Ruby Riott...and Santana Garrett. Black said he was told the reason for his release was “budget cuts”. He had just debuted a new character and appeared to be set for a feud with Big E on SmackDown. (Black On Big E Feud) That clip from a Twitch stream with Black on Wednesday. Today's NXT UK has Noam Dar vs. Ilja Dragunov...and Joe Coffey vs. Rampage Brown. (STINGER: Impact) An epic title match set for tonight. Josh Alexander defending the X-Division Championship against TJP in the first-ever 60-Minute Iron Man Match in the history of Impact Wrestling. The bulk of the match will happen on Before The Impact…but.the final minutes will be shown at the top of Impact's main TV show. Also being promoted for tonight…Fire n' Flava defend the Knockouts Tag Titles against Rachael Ellering and Jordynne Grace. We'll get the Impact in-ring debut of New Japan's Satoshi Kojima. He'll go one-on-one against Deaner. Plus, Moose vs. Sami Callihan…and Jake Something vs. Rohit Raju in a Tables Match.. (STINGER: New Japan) The NEVER 6-Man Tag Titles remain in the Chaos camp. Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii & YOSHI-HASHI held on to the belts in the main event of Wednesday's show at Korakuen Hall..turning away the challenge of Tetsuya Naito, SANADA and BUSHI. YOSHI-HASHI submitted BUSHI with the Butterfly Lock. Naito and Ishii had a staredown after the match. Jado was pulled from Wednesday's show due to an undisclosed injury. (STINGER: ROH) The latest entrant in Ring Of Honor's Women's Title Tournament is Willow Nightingale. She got the news after she beat Alex Gracia in a match that premiered on ROH's YouTube on Wednesday. Court Bauer tweeted Wednesday that Mil Muertes has signed a multi-year deal with Major League Wrestling. Finally, if you're wondering how far this “Forbidden Door” business can be taken...listen to what NWA Owner Billy Corgan recently said. Listen and subscribe at www.JustProWrestlingNews.com I'm Matt Carlins and this is JUST Pro Wrestling News for Tuesday, February 23, 2021. A special welcome to those of you listening on OccupyProWrestling.com. If you want to bring our updates to your website...email us: desk@justprowrestlingnews.com. Results from last night's Raw and Ring Of Honor's weekend TV are straight ahead in this update. The Miz' reign as WWE Champion may not last another week. He'll defend against Bobby Lashley on next Monday's Raw. Lashley secured the one-on-one title match by blowing through Braun Strowman in last night's main event. Lashley kicked out of Strowman's powerslam...put him away with a SPEAR...and then put Strowman down with the Hurt Lock. The Miz decided this was the right time for an ambush. Instead, he got a spinebuster and a spear from Lashley - who could NOT have looked more dominant. The former champ, Drew McIntyre, was nowhere to be seen on last night's Raw. Randy Orton had a rough night. He started to cough during a backstage promo. Then, spit up some BLACK GOO before he staggered away. The night after she pinned SmackDown Women's Champ Sasha Banks, Nia Jax pinned the Raw Women's Champ Asuka. Jax took advantage after Asuka caught a wayward boot from her partner Charlotte Flair. Asuka was clearly upset over the misfire after the match. Charlotte later hashed things out with dad Ric, and apparently put a bow on the storyline that abruptly ended with Lacey Evans announcing she's pregnant. Ric said he was trying to motivate Lacey because he saw potential in her. He also said he never claimed Lacey's baby was his. Charlotte basically told him to go home. Let's move on. WWE promoted that Rhea Ripley is “coming soon” to Raw. MVP shared some details on his knee injury...which he said is actually a REinjury that happened during last Monday's Raw. (MVP Injury Update) That clip from MVP's Instagram. WWE has a new broadcast deal with Sportsnet in Canada. It means NXT will begin broadcasting LIVE in Canada starting with Wednesday night's episode. It appears we have a clarification on the WWE Network's transition to Peacock. WWE is advertising the Fastlane pay per view on March 21st will stream live on BOTH Peacock and WWE Network. (STINGER: New Japan) Hiromu Takahashi, the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and one of New Japan's top stars, will be out of action for SIX months. New Japan announced Monday that Takahashi has a torn left pectoral muscle. He and BUSHI were set to challenge for the IWGP junior tag titles on Thursday. Now, it'll be El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru challenging El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori. No word yet on what New Japan will do about Takahashi's scheduled junior title defense Sunday against ELP. (STINGER: AEW) AEW's Anna Jay could be out for a year. She suffered a shoulder injury during training. It will require surgery. She had surgery on that same right shoulder back in 2019. Jay was pulled from her first round match in the Women's World Championship Eliminator Tournament. Four matches were shown on AEW's YouTube channel Monday. Jay was replaced by Madi Wrenkowski, who lost to Dr. Britt Baker. Also from that broadcast, Nyla Rose beat Tay Conti. Rose and Baker will meet in the semifinals of the U.S. side of the bracket on Wednesday's Dynamite. We also got the semifinals from the Japan side of the bracket...Yuka Sakazaki overcame some outside interference to beat Emi Sakura then got a save from AEW Women's Champ Hikaru Shida after the match. Also, Ryo Mizunami defeated Aja Kong via countout. SIXTEEN matches on tonight's AEW Dark...and at least half a dozen wrestlers making their AEW debuts. We also have a couple matches that are tough to call: KiLynn King vs. Tesha Price...and Aaron Solow vs. Ryan Nemeth. (STINGER: ROH) Some big happenings on Ring Of Honor's weekend TV. Shane Taylor and the Soldiers Of Savagery are the new ROH 6-man tag champions. They dethroned Bandido, Rey Horus and Flamita. EC3 is back in ROH... confronting Jay Briscoe. Those two were set for a match at Final Battle, but it was scrapped after EC3 was pulled from the show due to a positive COVID-19 test. EC3's return came after The Briscoes were beaten by Dragon Lee and Kenny King. Lee and King are now the #1 contenders for the ROH tag titles. (STINGER: Impact) Tonight's Impact Wrestling has a big 6-man tag. Willie Mack & Trey Miguel & Josh Alexander vs. Ace Austin & Chris Bey & Black Taurus. The winning team will compete in a 3-way next week, with the winner of that match getting an X-Division title shot. Also tonight, a Tables Match between Jake Something and Deaner. On this week's Grilling JR with WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross & Conrad Thompson, the topic is one of the most fondly remembered WWE PPVs of all time, the Royal Rumble from the year 2000, which took place in New York City's Madison Square Garden! In the midst of WWE's now runaway victory over WCW, they had to figure out what to do with the top of the card, without Stone Cold Steve Austin, who would still be out of action another 9-10 months. After a lackluster Big Show title reign, Triple H was now the WWE Champion, and feuding with a newly focused and freshly returned Cactus Jack! They would engage in one of the best matches in MSG history. Plus the newly signed Dudley Boyz would get a chance to show what they were all about in a Tables Match with The Hardy Boyz, and former ECW Champion Tazz would debut to one of the loudest pops of all time, against a very early in his career Kurt Angle. Hear all about these talents and their matches, plus Mae Young and the Bikini Contest, The Rock, Chris Jericho, Chyna, The New Age Outlaws, The Acolytes, Edge, Christian, Bob Backlund, Kane, and so much more! All right, New York City! Welcome to Madison... Square... Jericho! On January 23rd in the year 2000, WWF hosted Royal Rumble 2000 out of the home of Pro Wrestling, Madison Square Garden in New York City. Arguably of the single greatest events in the history of Sports Entertainment, Royal Rumble featured one of the most talented rosters in an era where the WWF had taken back their crown as the Kings of Professional Wrestling. A first-ever tag team Tables Match, the revival of one of the most iconic characters ever portrayed in wrestling and a pensioner in a bikini contest... Part II of our review of WCW Great American Bash 2000 continues to sink further and further into the toilet of this absolute horror of a PPV. The first thing we talk about is a Best of 5 Tables Match, which is already wacky, and memories of The Wall. We talk about a freaking ABORTION of a match between Scott Steiner vs. Tank Abbott that features Rick Steiner TURNING THREE TIMES IN ONE MATCH!!!! SERIOUSLY!! The genius Russo booked TWO retirement matches on one show, Hulk Hogan vs. Billy Kidman and Ric Flair vs. David Flair, featuring the GREATNESS of Vince Russo as an on screen character, booking himself to get beaten up by a 13 year old Charlotte Flair and 10 year old Reid. We talk about the Human Torch match, where a man is SET ON FIRE and just how ridiculous the entire ordeal was. Then we get to the Kevin Nash vs. Jeff Jarrett main event featuring Nash kicking out of more things in 2000 than The Rock in 2013 and Brock Lesnar in 2015, and of course the big moment that would change the business forever. Plus, a special call from (the former) Mr. Pyro and Ballyhoo himself!! Guaranteed we entertain more than they did!
