Fan Mail Me BrrrruuuuunnndenEver attempted to record a podcast at a pizza joint and ended up with a story more memorable than the pizza itself? That's precisely how we kicked off our one-year anniversary celebration of "Sockeytome." As we recount our technologically challenged attempt at Sally's Apizza in New Haven, you'll laugh along with us at the fictional firing of our tech adviser, Greg, and relive some of the podcast's most memorable moments—from personal adventures in colonoscopy land to narrowly avoiding runaway trailer chaos. Our international audience continues to grow, with listeners from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Germany, proving that laughter truly knows no borders.Shifting gears, we bravely step into the world of video podcasting, leaving our "faces made for radio" exposed to the world. Through humorous banter about our mutual friend Greg—who just can't seem to catch a break—we confront the challenges and excitement of this new medium. As we share our grooming tips and anxiously anticipate listener feedback, we reflect on the evolution from audio-only days and the changing landscape of podcasts.Of course, no celebration is complete without pizza talk! We fondly remember mix-ups with our beloved Greg and Craig, and laugh about Sammy J's boyfriend mistakenly being called Jason instead of James. We shout out to loyal listeners like Sammy J and Uncle Dan, while passionately debating our favorite local pizza spots like Sally's, Pepe's, and Modern. With plans for future pizza pilgrimages, we eagerly look forward to another year of culinary escapades and podcasting fun.Support the showCome back every Tuesday for a new episode each week. You won't be dissappointed, I'll tell you that for free. Subscribe and like us over at sockeytome.com as we begin the best part of our journey into podcasting yet, interacting with all of you. Give us your email as we begin to have more promotions and contests along with my personal favorite, trivia. Thanks everyone and as always, be good.

A bit of a underrated classic on todays cracker, as I'm joined by @winsDanlosses to discuss Christmas, Nibbles, and our adventures this year at Wembley, the match is available here -
Setting a Holiday table is often a work of art. In fact, we often gaze longingly at the beautiful table settings in magazines. Fine China. Sparkling crystal. Sterling silver polished to a high gleam. The centerpiece is perfection, and the touch of greenery stretching across the center from end to end just adds that glamorous touch. And as you picture your own table looking that perfect, your mind's eye catches that priceless crystal as it tilts over from an elbow and shatters. Uncle Dan tells his wild stories with a big sweep of his hands, which catches on the greenery and pulls it off the table. And Grandma's shaky hand drops mashed potatoes all over the centerpiece. And that doesn't count the food stains on the pristine white tablecloth. You wonder if you even have enough stain remover on hand to get them all out.Rather than be faced with a bigger than normal clean up, use what you have on hand and your own personality to create the best holiday table settings. Your meals may just be even more fun, and you won't be picking glass shards out of the food. The Farm Wife (website)Let's Visit (email)Support the showThe Farm Wife (website)Let's Visit! (email)

Courtney is relatively new to the wine industry but is already making a splash. She has worked for Blackhearts & Sparrows, been an associate judge for The Australian Cool Climate Wine Show and nails her first appearance on The Wine Show Australia in a free ranging and interesting chat. She will be the Wine Merchant at Uncle Dan's in Spotswood when it opens up later in the year. Definitely one to keep an eye on.....
Ghostbusters Day has once again come and passed and, with a new Ghostbusters feature film on the horizon, you can bet there's plenty to talk about on the podcast. So Chris and Troy will do their best to talk about the videos, the announcements, the teaser posters, Uncle Dan hitting the morning talk show circuit (and Twitter), and everything else that was dished out to us on the calm before the storm. Plus, the boys try to talk about things happening on the island of Manhattan that may be Ecto related, some upcoming Spirits Unleashed content, merch they're excited about including the Magnoli “Hunting Jacket,” and more!
Given they haven't been on air together for a while Richo and Jill catch up on all the goings on. Jill has been busy with The Real Review and other tastings including a 17 vintage vertical of Peter Lehmann 'The Stonewell'. Richo has hosted Peter Gago in his new Uncle Dan's store and also attended lunch with the Chef de Cave from Moet Benoit Gouez amongst other things....
This week we are joined by a very special guest! Uncle Dan himself makes a rare appearance but for good reason. Pyscho Goreman!!! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/theevildeaths/message
Today on this encore edition of the Rarified Heir Podcast, we talk to Hollye Dexter, who has an amazing and unusual story about growing up with actor Dan Haggerty. While we bend the rules slightly on this episode, we talk to her Uncle Dan, the man behind The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams, a fuzzy family television show from the 70s that made him a star. Along the way, we discuss bikers, Battle of the Network Stars, the film Easy Rider, step-siblings Kristy McNichol and Jimmy McNichol, domesticated wolves, circus performers, a step-father named Bullet and much more. We also learn about Dan's restaurants and fur/hide stores post Grizzly Adams, Hollye's years singing with Dionne Warwick, Don Felder & Stephen Bishop, her political activism and her book Fire Season based on a harrowing real life story that you won't believe. So while technically, Dan Haggerty wasn't Hollye's biological father, she grew up with Dan and was raised alongside his kids, her cousins, in very 70s LA, post hippie domesticity. As we like to say, take a listen to another child of a celebrity interviewed by the child of a celebrity. Everyone has a story. But this one has one about a lion named Samson that lived at home.
Richo and Jill chat with the effervescent and endearing Colleen about her life in wine and her travels around the world. Colleen is the Wine Merchant at Uncle Dan's in Richmond, Victoria and we're super glad she's such a great leader in the space of Women in Wine and wine in general. Plus she's into tequila, bourbon and the Dave Matthews Band... which just about makes her my new favourite person!
David Stevens-Castro is an interesting guy. He's an educator, rugby fiend, wine judge, bon vivant and all around general influencer. How lucky we are to try and join all of the dots in this interview... And particularly lucky that he works for Uncle Dan's in QLD. Cheers mate!
How better to spend Christmas Day than by listening to myself and Dan (@winsdanlosses) have a chat about one of the bright spots of “Pandemic Era” wrestling. And we play out with The Pretenders, who are amazing xx
Bible Reading: Jeremiah 29:13; Matthew 7:8; 11:28-30; James 4:8 Sara and Mom left church and headed out to Uncle Dan and Aunt Susan's farm for lunch. Sara couldn't wait to meet her cousin's new pygmy goats! On the way, Mom asked Sara what her Sunday school class had discussed that morning."We talked about worship," Sara said. "Mrs. Taylor told us that God created us to worship Him. We worship when we go to church, right?"Before Mom could answer, they'd arrived. Sara's cousin Charlie ran to the car. "Come meet Max and Mavis!" He grabbed Sara's hand and led her inside a fenced area next to the barn. "Sit still and they might come over," Charlie said. He sat next to Sara on the grass. The two small goats jumped in the air, ran around the yard, and butted heads in a play battle. At first, they ignored the cousins, but eventually Mavis came close enough for Sara to stroke her back. Then she went off to climb a wooden platform. "They're so cute," Sara told Charlie."Yeah," agreed Charlie. "I love it when they come over and let me pet them. I just wish they did that more often!" He grinned. "Don't they know I feed them, fill their water dish, and clean up their messes?" They laughed. Charlie sounded like a parent. On the way home, Mom brought up the topic of worship. "I think God feels a little like Charlie does with his goats," she said."What do you mean?" asked Sara."Charlie cares for his goats. He makes sure they have everything they need, and he loves it when they come to him. It's similar to us as Christians. We're God's children. He loves us and provides for us, and He wants us to enjoy being in His presence every day.""I guess worshiping God only on Sundays is kind of like Mavis only letting me pet her for two seconds," said Sara.Mom nodded. "Worship is something we do at church, but it can also be anything we do with an awareness of Jesus's love and presence and a desire to serve Him. That's where we find true joy.""Maybe we could read the Bible together before bed," suggested Sara. Mom nodded. "That's a great way to spend time with God!" -Bonnie CarrHow About You?Did you know that God wants to spend time with you? Praying, reading the Bible, talking about God with your family and friends--these are just some of the ways you can spend time in Jesus's presence. As Christians, we have a relationship with Jesus, and that means we can talk with Him, serve Him, and worship Him every day. Draw near to Him and enjoy spending time in His loving presence.Today's Key Verse:Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. (NKJV) (James 4:8)Today's Key Thought:Enjoy God's presence

Hi there kids and welcome to Uncle Dan's Daycare. The show where we discuss adult topics with Children and just Children. So if you're an adult, why don't you go sit with a bunch of people you don't like and then argue about whose turn it is to split the check. I gotta last time. And you got like three fucking things. All right, Today we're gonna be talking about sharing. Hell yeah. Who's trying to share that body? You see kids sharing is this thing where you have something but welcome others to use it or have it too. And it's something adults only do if it means later, they don't have to share anymore. For example, adults hate sharing things like love time or money, but adults love sharing things like blame their stupid recycled opinions and their penises. This like when adults are on facebook and they see a post and they're like, oh, I got to share this. Got to make sure everybody knows about this. Super important. And so they go and share it on the page and they look really smart and you want to be like them know Jeffrey, you're referring to the fall of the roman empire. Hi there kids. Welcome to Uncle Dan's daycare. Today we got show and tell So please welcome Joanna with her poem weight. But I wanted to talk about my Lord, if you can talk about alcohol next week. Alright, fuck you. Alright, Joanna? Go ahead. I am an ode to adults. A city sparks a flame lighting up the night sky and filling the isolated air with roasted screams pounding and burning, burning and pounding. Boom, boom. Ah my hard drive beats, boom, boom. Ah Your maturity now obsolete ankle snap as contracts are torn into all affairs and chaperoning have ceased to exist as the war to end all wars finally begins and adults are no more. You stupid little bit, wow, that was beautiful. Thank you, suck adults. No! Thank you. Holy fuck! So good.Check out the replies and reactions on Beams.fm
Hi there kids and welcome to Uncle Dan's Daycare today. We're gonna be talking about defamation. Hell yeah. I love defamation. I I wrote an article about how um how your old bunch of bitches. If you shouldn't be writing articles about how people are a bunch of bitches, otherwise everyone's going to take you to court and you're not going to have a penny left your name. Like he has anything in his name at all whatsoever. I mean, let's be really I have fucking money gerardo. You don't know Jack Ship. Alright? I'm suing you for for liable. If he what is liable mean? I don't know. But it rhymes with bible and that's God. And I'm gonna use that power a little bit. Can we stop fighting, please? I'm getting a headache, looking little fuckers. Nobody's defaming anybody. Alright? We just watched a whole two week trial about defamation, and really we should get our story straight here. Okay, Hi Fi. You don't know what libel means. K just be honest. And in in gerardo more nothing, man, nothing. I don't fuckingo anymore. Let's be real here. Most adults lie. And that's okay. But when you lie so hard to where you like right down the lie and then post it and then get a bunch of shit out of it. That's when I have a problem. Because lion happens. I I lied the other day. I mean, I like funk. Like somebody was like, hey, it's nice to see you. And I was like, it's nice to see you too. And I was really lying. It's not nice to see themCheck out the replies and reactions on Beams.fm
Hi there kids and welcome to Uncle Dan's Daycare. I see everybody's been doing reviews lately, so I kind of wanted to do a review about your review. Um Your review sucks. It's, it's ass. It's pure ass. Here's here's why your reviews suck so hard. So your reviews sucks so hard because you want your who the funk are you? Oh, you got something to say about Kendrick. Um and how he does things interesting. Okay, I'd love for you to get on yelp. You know what I do to people who review my ship. I eat them. I eat them for breakfast. Get all the daycare kids together, we find you, we chop you up and we cannibalize you. It's what we do here at the daycare. It's part of our religion. You can't really review something that you have no idea about. I don't know. I just think it's kind of a silly concept. It's like um what's that? Eminem? Eminem line? It's like, I'm sorry, wait, what's your talent, jokerit? Taking my talent? Oh bitch. I don't know who the funk y'all are to give us a bar bar even have an opinion. Yeah, that's that's mentioned me millions of views, attention in the news. I mention you lose lose for me when win for you, you're 10 cents are to skim through the music to give ship reviews. Good shit. Everybody, The Ringer. The song is called The Ringer. Alright, byeCheck out the replies and reactions on Beams.fm
Hi there kids, I'm sure you are wondering where is Uncle Dan and all of the Children where have they gone ? Fuck Adults out of safety, Uncle Dan and the daycare took a couple of days off. You see the daycare resides in America and in America little Children get shot daily. Fuck Adults. It used to be a rare thing, an abhorrent thing, a tragedy, so devastating and cruel that every moral person could not possibly imagine how this nightmare came to fruition, but now it is a normal thing, an expected thing, an american thing. And in America adults have failed us. No tricked us. They like to act, you see, they like to act like they feel sad, they like to act like there isn't a simple solution to this. Like this isn't the only country where this continues to happen. They like to act like they can't act. And until adults in America get off the gun lobby's dick. Children will be the ones to pay the price. Children will be the ones to remain afraid to remain abandoned, to remain dead, do something, do something fuck adults, do something, do something, Fuck adults do somethingCheck out the replies and reactions on Beams.fm

Yeah, big boy, You want to come come over and play some, help me finish puzzle. Hi there kids and welcome to Uncle Dan's Daycare. The show where we discuss adult topics with Children and just Children. So if you're an adult, why don't you go binge watch a serial killer documentary while you convince yourself that you'll never do it. Alright today kids, we're going to be talking about lust. Hell yeah, lust. Is this tricky thing that gets adults into a lot of trouble? It's a feeling they get for about 15 seconds and it makes them think they're in love. And so because of that they just start fucking really hard. But then after the sex, the feeling dies off. And so for a week or so they can't look into anyone else's eyes without seeing tangible discomfort and suffering pure suffering. If I were to describe lust and and on um on appeal it would be like mm hmm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm mm. Wouldn't it be more like, oh no, that's pretty good. Hey uncle thing, what do you do if you find yourself in a situation where you're feeling lost? Well are you married? No, then get that dick And or pussy Jeff, get it, get it, get it in or out. But you said you regret it. Yeah, you only really regret lust. If you have something annoying like a family, you knowCheck out the replies and reactions on Beams.fm
