Welche der Anime-Staffeln haben sich in unsre verpixelten kleinen Herzen geglitcht? Wie haben sich die Digimon parallel zum Internet entwickelt? Rosemon, LadyDevimon oder Angewomon? Zentrum unserer Betrachtungen werden alle Franchise-Blüten sein, die einen direkten Bezug zu “Digimon Adventure” aufweisen, der immer noch legendären ersten Staffel der Anime-Adaption. Der ganze Kram rund um Tai und Agumon sowie Matt und Gabumon lässt uns einfach nicht los. Ambition is a dream with a V8 engine, folks. It's Data Transfer, and we have our very first guest episode! We're joined by the wonderful Kennedy Cooper and let me tell you, they're a real blast on this one. We also get Korla's favorite digimon of this season, much to Audrey's chagrin. Now, a little less conversation and a little more episode description. After five days of travel, the Digidestined make it to Server Continent without incident thanks to Whamon. After they get their bearings, they rush over to a Koromon village in the forest that is mysteriously lacking in Koromon. Instead, we get some cheeky lil rabbit guys who kidnap TK's li'l baby and chuck him behind a waterfall. With a little help and guile from Agumon, the team manage to find Tokomon as well as the captive Koromon. Then we get to see the best Digimon of this whole dang season, Etemon, who comes at the team with electric guitar and pure charisma. While escaping from Etemon, the team happens upon Tai's crest and run off to figure out a plan of counterattack. This week, as with every week, Audrey and Korla have your back with another episode of Digimon Adventures to discuss! Korla got to see the Pride festival in her town for the first time, even got to party~. Audrey got to see her own event, and by the sound of it it's a pretty rad time! Frigimon! Frigimon! We love the big ice man, folks. We begin where the last episode left off, with each kid & digimon pair stranded on rapidly drifting chunks of broken island. Tai and Agumon in particular end up on an ice floe, desperately making their way to warmth and shelter when a black gear-infested Frigimon comes after them. We love this big fluffy man, and we love his 'we couldn't afford Dom Deluise' vocal performance. Before long, Tai and Agumon manage to catch up with Matt and Gabumon, but finding his little brother is their next priority and that part doesn't seem so easy. Oh yeah, also Mojyamon happens and that's pretty unfortunate. Eight Years Ago A Digi-Egg appears from Tai and Kari's father computer, which hatches and Digivolves into Agumon. Tai chases Agumon and Kari out into the night, where a second Digi-Egg appears in the sky to reveal a Parrotmon. As the neighborhood watches, Agumon Digivolves to Greymon to fight but is knocked out. When Tai reawakens Greymon with Kari's whistle, he defeats Parrotmon and disappears with him.

Welcome, once again, to Tokyo, Japan. Once again, the stage is set for an age-old conflict to play itself out once more on the streets of this iconic city. Is it kind of insane that this keeps happening? Sure. Is there any end to the cycle of violence and confusion? Probably not. But are we going to try, once again, to repair the rift between opposing forces and find some sort of common ground? I mean, it's not what we usually do around here, but hey, you never know. ...wait, WarGreymon vs. Mechagodzilla? A pitched battle between a pair of powerful pugilists? Oh yeah, I guess that's also happening. I was talking about the conflict between Miles and all things produced by Japanese media. See, Miles is the judge for this one, and he knows almost nothing about Digimon. So in order to make their arguments, this week's advocates are going to have to... explain a few things. Will Miles' brain survive long enough for him to reach a verdict? Is there any hope that he might come out of this match with something resembling a better understanding of how and why these small digital monsters transform into larger monsters? And most importantly, is there any limit to the number of words you can add the prefix "digi" to? Have no fear, listeners, there is also an actual match in here somewhere. A match in which Tai Kamiya's faithful friend, Agumon, must use all the powers of his final form in an attempt to defeat the metallic cyborg version of Godzilla! Will WarGreymon's Dramon Destroyers and Chrome Digizoid be enough to overcome the evil impostor and protect the DigiDestined? Or will Mechagodzilla's eye lasers, missile fingers, and gun knees bring it the victory over its comparatively diminutive adversary? Three years after the events of Digimon Adventure 02, in an unknown dimension, Daisuke, Miyako, Ken, and Iori are beaten by an unknown Digimon. Taichi Yagami is now in high school, downhearted that none of his friends are able to come to his soccer game and feels that they are slowly drifting apart. Meanwhile, strange occurrences are causing electronic devices to malfunction across Odaiba. Minutes before Taichi's match begins, a Kuwagamon that had been causing the malfunctions suddenly appears, soon taking physical form and causing collateral damage to the city.
