In this episode, we discuss the adventures we have embarked on within the safety of our own homes, providing insights into the tools we use to enhance our D&D experience. We talk about playing 1-on-1 Fight Nights, how we use these to playtest homebrew ideas, or even discover character builds that we never knew we were going to love so much. That was the case with the Sapphire Sorcerer. He's a deep gnome sorcerer with a draconic bloodline. With a little research, we discovered Sapphire Dragons, a recent addition to 5e, had strong bonds with deep gnomes. Suddenly we had a character coming together. We talk about how Jack customized him further with spell selection, and how that worked out in his first fight versus a Death Kiss. Also, we talk a bit about the battlemaps, and out use of Dungeon Craft tiles to bring them to life. But remember, you don't need any of this stuff to have fun with D&D! Rene Perez is a movie Director known for "Playing with Dolls: Havoc" and "Death Kiss". In addition to being the Director, Perez is also the Cinematographer, Editor and Writer of his films. Born and raised in Oakland California, Perez started writing and drawing comic books as a child and in his teen years he became a musician known as 'The Darkest Machines'. Perez still composes music under the stage name "The Darkest Machines". Perez now lives in a small town in northern California with his wife and children.
