U.S. Oil and Gas Association President Tim Stewart says President Joe Biden's pause on liquified natural gas export permits hurts America's trade reputation with its European and Asian allies. “We're not reliable international security partners if we're putting them at risk...But the other problem is it forces these countries to look elsewhere,” Stewart says. “They're going to look to the Middle East, they're going to look to other countries with less stellar environmental records to produce natural gas and buy their LNG.” Additional interviews with: Director of the Oversight Project at The Heritage Foundation Mike Howell highlighting the latest investigations into the Biden family specifically Hunter Biden's business dealings, AMAC Spokesman Bobby Charles on Judicial activism not only bad for America's political institutions but bad for the country as a whole, and Just the News Reporter Natalia Mittelstadt on news of the week and her reporting on the 14 provisions that the Honest Elections Project suggested for states to adopt before the 2024 elections. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (11/29/2023): 3:05pm- Earlier this week, the sports blog Deadspin wrongfully accused a young Kansas City Chiefs fan of wearing blackface during the Chiefs-Raiders game on Sunday and of mocking Native American culture—angling the photo to only show half of the child's face and failing to note that the face paint was black and red, the team's colors. The social media platform X added a Community Notes correction to Deadspin's original, inaccurate, post. Even Elon Musk felt compelled to set the record straight, praising Community Notes for “exposing deception.” Today it was revealed that Holden Armenta, the child unjustly targeted by Deadspin, is Native American. Jason Snead—Executive Director of the Honest Elections Project—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his latest editorial on Daily Caller, “Pennsylvania is On the Verge of a Midterm Meltdown.” Snead writes of Pennsylvania elections, “antiquated procedures and weak safeguards continue to leave Pennsylvania's election process vulnerable to delays, confusion, mischief and ponderous litigation that could drag the results out for weeks — or longer.” How long should Pennsylvanians expect to wait before they have a definitive outcome for the U.S. Senate race between Dr. Mehmet Oz and Lt. Gov. John Fetterman?
The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 2: According to FiveThirtyEight forecasting simulations, Republicans have a 59% chance of taking control of the U.S. Senate—with Dr. Mehmet Oz (57%), Hershel Walker (63%), and J.D. Vance (87%) all projected to win their races. But will Hershel Walker's Georgia race against incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock head to a runoff election? According to Gallup polling, 73% of Republicans believe the COVID-19 pandemic is over—while only 21% of Democrats share that belief. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Show (11/08/2022): 3:05pm- Last week, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that election officials cannot count mail-in ballots that are incorrectly dated. On Monday night, John Fetterman's campaign filed a legal challenge arguing that mail-in ballots should be counted regardless of proper dating—claiming that rejecting ballots is a violation of the First and Fourteenth Amendments. The Philadelphia Inquirer estimates that “tens of thousands” Pennsylvania ballots may be improperly dated. 3:30pm- On CNN, host Don Lemon and political commentator Michael Smerconish explained that they sometimes forget what day it is—arguing that mail-in ballots without a date should be counted in Pennsylvania. 3:40pm- Tom Szymanski—New Jersey Republican State Committee Executive Director—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss Election Day in the Garden State. In Mercer County, NJ, scanning machines aren't working properly—will this impact how long it takes to get final vote tabulations? 4:05pm- According to FiveThirtyEight forecasting simulations, Republicans have a 59% chance of taking control of the U.S. Senate—with Dr. Mehmet Oz (57%), Hershel Walker (63%), and J.D. FiveThirtyEight forecasting simulations currently indicate that Josh Shapiro has a 97% chance of beating Mastriano. 5:20pm- On Sunday, Philadelphia rallied around the “Chickenman”—a guy who randomly decided to eat an entire rotisserie chicken every day for 40 consecutive days. Hundreds of Philadelphians showed up to an abandoned pier in South Philly to watch history unfold. 5:45pm- Jennifer Stefano—Executive Vice President of the Commonwealth Foundation & Columnist at the Philadelphia Inquirer—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss the impact frustrated parents will have on the midterm elections. Jason Snead, Executive Director of the Honest Elections Project, gives an overview of the trends and proposals that he says could undermine the accuracy and integrity of our voting process. Among those are proposed legislation to essentially put all elections under federal oversight, expansion of drop off ballot boxes outside of polling places, increased mail in voting, and a lack of a photo ID requirement in many areas. Jason Snead with the Honest Elections Project explains the latest attempts by Senate Democrats to fundamentally change elections in America.
Honest Elections Project, Heritage Foundation & HR4, Anti- infrastructure bill
We all want honest, free, and fair elections in which it is easy to vote and hard to cheat. In theory, at least; as state legislatures across the country consider legislation to restore normal legal processes for election administration after the emergency changes made in 2020, the federal Congress is still pondering HR1/S1, legislation to override essentially all state-level election administration regulations. Joining me to discuss where the legislative debates at the federal and state levels over election procedures stand is Jason Snead, executive director of the Honest Elections Project.
