NINJIO uses short, engaging Hollywood-style videos to teach organizations, employees, and families how to protect themselves against cyber threats and cyber scams. Zack and his team guide and empower workers at some of the world's largest organizations to prevent cyber attacks. They focus on creatively engaging and educating users to protect their organizations and those around them. Zack graduated from California State University Northridge with a degree in marketing. During college, he founded Cal Net Technology Group, the largest IT Services provider to small and medium-sized businesses in Los Angeles. It was later acquired by Olympic Valley and Boathouse Capital and subsequently by NexusTek, a nationwide IT Service Provider. In this episode… Is your company's cybersecurity training putting everyone to sleep? Do you wish there was more effective training that wouldn't be such a snooze-fest? NINJIO is revolutionizing the way companies train employees about cybersecurity. Rather than a boring 45-minute PowerPoint presentation, NINJIO creates short videos with actual Hollywood scriptwriters to teach organizations that online security matters. Regularly scheduled lessons with infographics sink in deeper with every repetition. The training doesn't stop with the employees either — they have training videos for the whole family so your employees can be secure anywhere. In this episode of She Said Privacy/He Said Security, Jodi and Justin Daniels sit down with Zack Schuler, Founder and CEO of NINJIO, to discuss how to improve your company's cybersecurity training. Zack talks about the neuroscience that backs up NINJIO's strategy, why your executives' attitude about training matters, and how to make cybersecurity practices as automatic as locking your car door. Stay tuned!

SecureConnection Podcast: IT Security/Security Experts for MSP’s
Brian talks with Secure Now CEO, Art Gross about the many tentacles of cybersecurity training. Its not just about teaching your customers employees what Ransomware is or a Phishing attack. It is about getting your clients staff to engage with you the IT Service Provider. The integration of employee training aligns you with your clients to collectively secure against attacks, however it also provides other residual benefits. High to low risk scoring for organizations and their individual staff members which illustrates progress they are making as a result of your efforts and services. Tools they can use from a Human Resources aspect when training staff on the importance of securing their business environments and reducing risk. The ongoing training with a mature educated staff, then shifts to current cybersecurity alerts, keeping your customers abreast of current threats they need to be aware of and securing against. Cybersecurity training is an ongoing business program which needs to be adopted by all businesses in today's environment. Not a one-off product or service.

Enfo's SVP of Service Center, Minna Nousiainen, shares the Enfo journey to becoming a modern IT Service Provider and the importance of service experience for the company. "With this tool and these discussions, we are on the same side of the table with the customer. We are not a Service Provider and customer buying it, but we can see that there are impacts of both of our actions." Minna Nousiainen
Had a great impromptu chat with Dave Sobel from MSP Radio and The Business of Tech (and the Killing IT podcast). Dave has spent his time as both an IT Service Provider and a vendor. Now he is jumping into a new venture as an analyst and new reporter. If you haven't checked it out already, head over to MSP Radio and subscribe to The Business of Tech - his daily five-minute podcast. Great stuff. Dave mentions three important rules he's set for himself going forward: 1) Do things that are big, different, and significant 2) Don't talk to product marketing managers 3) Never sit on another pricing panel at conferences Find out what's behind these and how they affect what he's up to. I happen to know Dave has some pretty big things planned with MSP Radio, so tune in now and stay tuned. Topic 1: Jim Cramer, the financial TV guy, has proposed that the "FAANG" index needs to change. FAANG simply means Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, and Google. Cramer thinks we should drop Netflix from the group because they've lost money recently and add Microsoft in its place. Ryan connects this with our earlier discussion about technology reaching the point where non-technical people are beginning to pay attention to the industry (and what that means). https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/03/cramer-we-gotta-get-netflix-the-hell-out-of-faang.html FAANG is a horrible measurement of the industry. What metrics do we think are the right ones? Topic 2: UPS get approval for the first Drone Airline Article: https://www.theverge.com/2019/10/1/20893655/ups-faa-approval-delivery-drones-airline-amazon-air-uber-eats-alphabet-wing With this move, UPS will start deploying drone deliveries in "campus" settings such as medical campuses and college campuses. To make this successful, they will need to develop a great deal of sophisticated controls, procedures, and safety protocols. But my guess is that they'll be hugely successful. We talk about the details and practical side of this as well as the bigger picture: What this means to IT professionals. Bottom line is, we think this is great news. In a related development, CompTIA has a new Drone community to look into this kind of opportunity. See https://www.comptia.org/membership/communities-and-councils/drone-advisory-council AND they have a live webinar meeting of the Community this Thursday (October 17th). Register here: https://www.comptia.org/events/view/drone-standards-best-practices-and-market-research Topic 3: Net Neutrality gets a win - inside a loss News Item: Federal judge upholds the US government’s right to eliminate net neutrality - but also reaffirms states’ right to enforce net neutrality within their borders. https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2019/10/net-neutrality-still-dead-but-judges-rule-that-fcc-cant-preempt-state-laws/ A bit of good news/bad news here. AND a little disagreement on whether net neutrality is really that big of a deal. Either way, our industry is affected more and more as the government gets involved in things. We also dig into the affect on privacy regulation as it relates to net neutrality and the IT Service Provider. -- -- -- About Us: Dave Sobel comes to us from MSPRadio.com.
