Lee taught bushcraft and 'coyote mentoring' on youth camps, before training as a psychotherapist and counsellor. Lee has been using Jon Young's coyote mentoring approach for over a decade, and began learning and teaching bushcraft as a teenager at the Forest School Camps in the UK. He studied indigenous survival skills at Tom Brown Jr's Tracker School, and Practical Primitive, both in the US, and spent a year living in the bush, finding shelter, water and food on the landscape; putting it into practice. More than that, he found a radically new experience of what it means to be human. Now he brings psychology and bushcraft together for rewilding; helping people of all ages to reawaken their wildness and deepen their connection with the natural world. Welcome back to the Catapulting Commissions podcast with your host, Anthony Garcia! Today is the first episode in a miniseries breaking down the Catapulting Commissions book. This series will go over the high-level ideas, mentalities, and strategies that will help you reach new heights in your professional life. Today’s topic is titled “Clear Mental Preparation”. Sound mental preparation is absolutely necessary to increase your success in sales. Anthony goes over the primary obstacles so many people face--fear. This fear of failure prohibits us from doing what we need to do to reach the top. He shares how we can overcome these fears by narrowing it down to a worst-case scenario. Once we are clear on the scenario--we can identify the five areas that could be affected: family, finances, time and energy, confidence, and reputation. Of course, these are all unique to each person, but Anthony goes through how we can field these daunting risks by making them visible. Anthony goes on to talk about an exercise we can do to get clear on who we are and what we stand for. The idea is that whether to fail or succeed, that will be unchanged. Then, after the goal is achieved or failed, ask yourself is what I stand for different than what I stand for before this process? The failing of a goal helps with growth, but who you are at the core should be the same when the goal is over. He then goes on to talk about how we can define failure and how that definition may change depending on who you ask. Your idea of failure for your goal may not match up with anyone else's. Finally, he discusses how we can roll with the punches as adversity comes our way. If you plan for adversity, you can protect both your personal and professional life. Paul Joseph Rovelli has been a student of the Western Mystery Tradition his whole life.  A journey from his youth led him to meetings with interesting people that helped him cobble together that which was almost lost in the White School of Magick.   Starting out, as a child with a voracious appetite for the literature and contemplations of the West, he grew into a man and began to develop what he refers to as his vision of beauty.  In college, the Western Mystery Tradition seemed to have its only expression in art and indulgences of sex and psychedelics in the counter-culture of the 60s and 70s.  And he wanted more to match the sophistication of what he was also studying about the East. Michael Schiavello was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1975. He is a best-selling author, award-winning feature writer and an international television sports broadcaster. Known as ‘The Voice’ he has commentated sports events in more than 20 countries, including the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. He is the host of ‘The Voice Versus’ interview show on AXS TV where his guests have included Steven Seagal, Sugar Ray Leonard, Hulk Hogan, George Foreman, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Dana White. His feature writing has appeared in more than 50 publications worldwide. Michael was initiated into Freemasonry in 2009 and raised to Master Mason in 2010 in Deepdene-Balwyn Lodge No. 275, in Melbourne, Australia. In 2011 Michael relocated to Las Vegas for his television career. There he became a 32nd Degree Mason of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, and a member of the Royal Arch, Cryptic Council and Knights Templar of the York Rite of Freemasonry. Thomas Karlsson, Ph. D. is the founder of the esoteric order Dragon Rouge and Head of Ordo Draconias. Dr. Karlsson is author of several articles and books published in more than ten languages. William Mistele, who now lives in Hawaii, is one of North America's great esotericists. He calls himself a spiritual anthropologist and a "professional contemplator". In everything he has to say about the different traditions and his own life it becomes clear that for William Mistele there exists no possibility to separate esoteric experience and life from our day-to-day mundane experience, it is obvious to him that science and spirituality are just two faces of the same coin.
