Sarito Carroll is an author and former member of the Osho Rajneesh movement. Born in 1969, she was brought to India at age nine by her mother, who had become a disciple of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (later known as Osho). What was intended as a brief visit turned into a permanent stay when her mother decided to join the ashram. At twelve, Sarito moved to Oregon, becoming one of the first settlers at Rajneeshpuram, a controversial commune built on the Big Muddy Ranch. She details her journey through the movement, the trauma she endured, and her path to healing. She is the author of In the Shadow of Enlightenment. Sarito Carroll is an author whose childhood was shaped by the chaotic, free-love world of the Osho Rajneesh movement, where she experienced both a deep sense of belonging and the wounds of neglect and sexual misconduct. Her debut memoir, In the Shadow of Enlightenment, unravels the complexities of growing up in a cult, the struggle to break free, and the long journey toward healing and self-acceptance. After decades of silence, she is reclaiming her voice and exposing the hidden realities of a system that promised love but demanded devotion at any cost. Through her writing, Sarito offers a powerful testament to resilience, truth, and the strength it takes to confront a formidable institution that seeks to keep stories like hers suppressed. I'm so excited to share this transformative conversation on how to create everyday miracles in your life now! I had the privilege of sitting down with Hakim Hamza, bestselling author of The Eternal Within, for a deep dive into practical techniques, mindset shifts, and daily practices inspired by A Course in Miracles. Whether you're new to the Course or a seasoned student, this conversation will give you powerful tools to elevate your everyday experience and transform your reality. And help you experience more miracles! ⚡️ About Hakim Hamza: Hakim was born in 1987 to a Swedish mother and an Egyptian father, and grew up in Sweden. Growing up multiculturally fostered a deep awareness of the vastness of human experience. Hakim holds a bachelor's degree in social psychology. Driven by a profound yearning for something eternal that transcends limitations, I immersed myself in diverse Eastern philosophies. I have explored the teachings of Osho (Rajneesh), Papaji, Ramana Maharshi, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Acharya Prashant, and Adyashanti, among others. Through this journey, he understood how spiritual truths can be applied to everyday life. Even though not Eastern, he finally found "A Course in Miracles" (ACIM) and the work of Dr. Kenneth Wapnick, who taught it. The Course has resonated with him more than any other teaching; hence, it has become his primary spiritual practice.

Bliss Seeker Meets Health Seeker – Part 2 Margot Anand is an author, speaker, teacher, and one of the foremost experts in Tantra. Previously a journalist, she has deeply studied ancient texts relating to Tantra and learned from Osho Rajneesh in India in the 70s. She explains Tantra and the transmutation of orgasmic energy, as she joins health seeker Adiel Gorel in this fascinating episode. Key Insights: Margot explains how her first sexual experience resulted in a totally cosmic orgasm. It was a moment of enlightenment that revealed to her how sex has a spiritual dimension. She started to study the ancient texts and tantric scripture, learned about Shiva and Shakti, and sought a philosophy that positions men and women as equals in the act of love. Margot rejects the notion that all humans are born of original sin; that we are guilty of sin before even being born. This guilt and repression prevents us from reaching our own bliss. There is a meditative aspect to the act of lovemaking where our energy is drawn to the third eye and it expands beyond the body and beyond the mind to Samadhi, she says. Sex is all about balance explains Margot: as Shiva is in touch with his feminine side, so Shakti reveals her masculine side. She shares personal anecdotes to explain this. Author, Investment Expert and Wellness Advocate Adiel Gorel isn't just an expert in his chosen fields but also a storyteller who makes complex issues easily accessible. Tune in to his show where he addresses diverse issues with a single aim to improve quality of life. Have questions? I came across the writings of a well-known Indian guru in my early twenties and thus began a twenty-five-year odyssey that would uproot me from my normal life and see me living in ashrams and committed spiritual communities around the world. The answers I sought were not easy to find, however, and the promises made by the teachers in whom I placed my trust were rarely kept. Exhausted and disillusioned I left my last teacher and abandoned spiritual life in 2004, and during the intense and all-consuming crisis that followed I finally realized the truth of my own unchanging nature beyond the personal identity. The questions that had haunted me for so long dissolved and I was astonished to find that all seeking had ceased. Over time the shift of identity stabilized and became normalized and permanent. Grateful and content with what I saw as a private internal matter I rarely spoke or thought about spirituality and for the next fifteen or so years focused instead on my long-neglected art career. I began to establish myself as a visual artist exhibiting firstly in the UK and later internationally. I now collaborate with my partner, scientist Dr. Jesse Shore, producing artworks as Sweet+Shore, as well as my individual work as Anne Penman Sweet. About eighteen months ago I confided in my friend, author, and researcher Amir Freimann about what had happened and he immediately invited me to participate in his research project Living Transcendence: a Phenomenological Study of Spiritual Exemplars. I was very surprised as I had no sense of knowing anything or of having arrived anywhere in particular. However, over the course of a dozen or more formal interviews skillfully conducted by him, I experienced an outpouring of spiritual insights and understandings that I had no idea I contained. It was revelatory and transformative and since then I have spoken freely and publicly about these matters. Not long after, I started to feel a deep inner prompting to begin sharing what I had learned and understood, not as a teacher but as a friend and advisor. I created the End of Seeking website as a free resource to help simplify and demystify the spiritual search for others and to give seekers the tools and knowledge they may need to independently navigate the often confusing and at times hazardous terrain of the contemporary spiritual marketplace. I am currently working on a book of spiritual insights illustrated with Sweet+Shore artworks which I hope to publish by the end of the year. Key life points: Born in the UK, raised in Perth, Western Australia Studied Fine Art at Claremont Technical School of Art (Perth), Saint Martin's School of Art (University of the Arts) London 1978 disciple of Osho (Rajneesh) for next 15 years including 4 years living in India at the ashram and at the Ranch in Oregon for the final year as it was imploding Spontaneous channeling began after the Ranch and became a full-time channeler for 2-3 years. Studied with Barry Long in Australia for 3 years 1996 became a committed student of Andrew Cohen, living in his London and US communities for 8 years. 2000-present: exhibiting internationally as a visual artist (painter) Left Andrew Cohen in 2004 and spent time with Lee Lozowick and his community. 2004 Shift of perspective to Self-knowledge/Natural State 2020 began speaking more publicly about my experience/understanding after participating in Amir Freimann's study Living Transcendence: a Phenomenological Study of Spiritual Exemplars. 2021 created The End of Seeking website and began compiling a book of artworks and spiritual insight and inspiration.

Osho Rajneesh

In fact, if you look at almost all of the creation stories and myths from tribes all over the world, they say that the world and life itself began in chaos. So, if it all began in chaos and countless cultures have written that in their myths, then doesn't that tell you right up front that what looks like chaos is actually full of order in an occult or hidden form?" - Paul Chek Why We Need Good And Evil "The words from The Bible, Isaiah 45:7, 'I the Lord create the light and the dark,' means that there is consciousness creating something there. If everything was all dark, what would you see? Nothing and then there's nothing to be conscious of. If everything was light, what would you see? Nothing again. You have to have this contrast in order for consciousness to be aware of something i.e. for God to have its own experience of itself, it has to create the illusion of something that is and something that isn't. " - Paul Chek We Are God Experiencing Itself "The real question is, 'What's inside the evil and what is it trying to tell us to help us learn to live and love more fully?' which is the truth of God. The truth of God is good, beauty, honesty, and harmony. Evil is a necessary illusion that allows you to be aware that you can choose disharmony or harmony, love or hate, love or indifference, etc. God says 'yes' to all of it because ultimately if God is love then the highest form of love is unconditional love and by definition, the answer to every prayer is 'yes...' ...We are Co-Creators with God; we are not under God's control but we are God experiencing itself as Josh, Paul, trees, bees, planets, and stars. It's only through the choices that we make that God experiences the truth of itself. God is capable of rape, murder, and pillage but the difference is that God is not worried about it because God cannot die and God knows the truth of itself because it is the sum total of all consciousness known and unknown beyond our conception. What you create, good or bad, is an experience that God is having but nobody else cannot have that experience with God but you because God is making those choices." - Paul Chek Links From Today's Show How to Eat, Move and Be Healthy PPS Success Mastery Program Living 4D with Paul Chek | CHEK INSTITUTE Show Notes Episode 36 – Josh Trent: The Making of a Buddha 226 The Revolution Is Coming: Paul Chek (Three-Part Series) 275 The Revolution Is Here: Paul Chek Rudolf Steiner Ken Wilber The Self Aware Universe by Amit Goswami John Archibald Wheeler Rumi Shankara's Crest Jewel of Discrimination: Viveka-Chudamani by Shankara, Sankara, and Swami Prabhavananda Osho Rajneesh Tao Te Ching: The Book of Meaning and Life by Lao Tzu, translated by Richard Wilhelm Lao Tzu Itzhak Bentov Arnold J. The 11th episode of the Raise Your Vibes with Sathya Jayapaul podcast will be the first of a series of spotlight sessions on philosophers, spiritual gurus, enlightened masters, and the like. This one will be on the 10 "commandments" given by the philosopher/spiritual leader Osho Rajneesh and my interpretation of these "commandments" and how they can help us lead a better life. I'd like to state upfront that I do not follow any specific guru or master, but have great interest in reading about what they have to say on the subject of exploring the self. Happy listening! If you like the episode, I'd be grateful if you could please provide your feedback as a voice message here - https://anchor.fm/sathya-jayapaul/message :-) You can find more at https://www.facebook.com/raiseyourvibeswithsj --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/sathya-jayapaul/message
You might have heard the name of Osho Rajneesh and his controversy in the 1980s, but this movie is totally based on true events of early childhood and how does Rajneesh became Osho. The dialogues of this movie from beginning to the end are very intellectual. In fact, it intrigues us to think upon. Listen it till the end, because there is very thought provoking dialogue that I hope you get better perspective.

Many contemporary spiritual movements are characterized by denial of material pleasures, subjugation of the self, and focus on transcendence. A spiritual program that cultivates embodied satisfaction is often seen as inauthentic and fraudulent. These public understandings of new religious movements are part of the reason why the Indian Guru, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh or Osho, is so controversial. In Zorba the Buddha: Sex, Spirituality, and Capitalism in the Global Osho Movement (University of California Press, 2016), Hugh Urban, Professor of Comparative Studies at Ohio State University, explores the Osho Movement as a case study on the intersection of religion, capitalism, sexuality, and globalization. Urban traces the social contexts of the Osho-Rajneesh transnational religious movement as it extends from its local origins in India, across to America, and back to South Asia. He puts textual and ethnographic sources to use in producing a rich account of Osho, his followers, and the social worlds that shape them. At its height, Osho’s archetype of Zorba the Buddha represents the shifting attitudes of the public towards the body, physical pleasure, and material consumption. In our conversation we discuss the social and political atmosphere of post-Independence India, national patterns of socialism, spiritual sexuality and neo-Tantra, New Age debates, questions of religion and law, the 1980s Oregon utopian community, global capitalism, and Osho’s legacy and the continuation of the movement. Kristian Petersen is an Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Vancouver-based Canadian author, born and raised in Montreal, esotericist and transpersonal psychologist PT Mistlberger is Rudolf's guest on this new episode. Phil first introduces the listeners to his esoteric background, when as a young man he came across the teachings of Gurdijeff, Ouspensky and Osho. From there he developed a great interest in Eastern and Western teachings, which in the end brought him to his profession as a transpersonal psychologist. In this very deep and personal talk he tells us interesting points about the psychology of Alchemy and the Kabbalah, about the Left Hand Path, about the problem of disconnection between the Esoteric world and psychology, about the risk of ego-inflation and antinomination. Then he gives us an insight in his books, in the history and his personal work in men's groups, and he even tells us what the 4th and the 6th chakras have to do with the porn industry. A really captivating hour. Also check out his three websites (links below), which contain a treasure of information. Born in 1954 to a working class family in the country town of Bunbury, Western Australia as Vincent Cooper, his family soon moved to Perth and he attended Aquinas College. While in boarding school he became interested in spirituality and at the age of 14 considered becoming a priest. As his love for the unknown continued an unexpected involvement with an encounter group at age 19 stirred a passion for self-discovery which was to grow ever stronger as time passed. Moving into the 1970's as a successful publisher gave him ever greater opportunity to travel the world to seek ways of opening up the mysteries of his own mind and spirituality. Vishrant's first real spiritual teacher Osho Rajneesh came in 1979. As a Sanyasin for much of the 1980's, he developed a love for practising meditation, living in numerous mystery schools and devoting his life to discovering his true nature. Having lived the fast-paced life of a high-flying businessman, he sought to live out the new name he had been given by Osho Rajneesh - Prem Vishrant, meaning restful love, through meditation and spiritual understanding. After spending six months in Italy attending a mystery school run by Paul lowe (formally known as Teertha ) He had his first major awakening in 1987 while practising the Zen methodology of self enquiry, an event which changed his life forever. Vishrant gave up his publishing company and spent the next three years intensely seeking his true nature. Following Osho's death in 1990, he dedicated his life to the service of all he came in contact with, training first as a naturopath and masseur, and later as a psychotherapist, as he looked for better ways to serve those around him. It was in 1998 in the presence of travelling advaita vedanta teachers (Isaac Shapiro, Gangaji and Vartman) that multiple awakenings started occurring, establishing in May 1999. Vishrant found himself as universal Truth in an ongoing way. Seekers noticing the changes in Vishrant started requesting private satsang almost immediately and within a few years he began giving ten public satsangs a week. His satsangs have the potential of showing seekers their true nature and with a mix of traditional and modern techniques helping people remove the obstacles to freedom. Vishrant brings his passion for life, his razor sharp insight, and his radiant presence to every meeting. Currently Vishrant is running a full time spiritual mystery school in Perth called The Mystic Heart Mystery School. Interview recorded 6/7/2011. Video and audio below.
