Shawn - Mischief Machine Unleashed Mischief Machine Fuse Savage - Meshtastic - Toxic relationship Bullet Points Shawn - Recoil Tech Made Simple Foxtrot Mike clear up - Shawn, the RMb has some reciprocating mass, and a surprisingly complex design that affects recoil in 2 ways. ,When the mass of a pcc moves all the way rearward and the buffer smacks the end of the buffer tube, there is a mechanism that compresses with a heavy weight spring, and inside the buffer, it terminates against a high durometer urethane puck inside the buffer.,For the other end of the recoil stroke, there is reciprocating mass that helps keep the bolt in battery, and is there to overcome bolt bounce. As you add mass (its 9.5 ozs so lil on heavy side), recoil goes down, at the cost of bolt bounce.,I'd love to send you all a couple samples if you want to check them out? ,RMB:,https://www.theoutdoorwire.com/releases/13d43336-a442-4018-837f-c269dde4cede,Maybe a VFM-9 upper (on sale now for $239)?,https://www.theoutdoorwire.com/releases/0bd2ba31-3579-4569-b070-e8b453d1b778,https://store.fm-products.com/products/fm-products-5397-1463b865-bbbc-4aed-be84-60f5c638509d,This is new, our Foldyboi (on sale now for $399 w RMB buffer):,https://www.theoutdoorwire.com/releases/fddc398f-49b3-41ef-9f84-8de727349b77,https://store.fm-products.com/products/fm-products-foldyboi-lwr-rmb-5397 Shawn - Soft Body Armor Trends and Insights The article discusses the growing popularity of Level IIIA tactical vests for civilian use, particularly for emergency and home defense situations due to their lightweight and concealable design. I have a sight mark wraith 4K mini on a keltec RFB. I need to mount some kind of IR flashlight to help with night shooting on the farm. What recommendations would you have for an IR flashlight with a mount? The keltec RFB is kind of limited on rail space and the top rail is getting a little crowded with the digital optic and an offset red dot I am using for faster shooting in daytime. Mostly this rifle will be used for night time hog hunting or night time training. Thanks for your help!Duke Ballpark Frank - Dear Jeremy, When you're giving savage backshots. Do you slap the back of his head as a sign of dominance or do you mistake it for his ass? #no notes Steven S - How do you guys adjust the retention on your BRC holsters. I received a BRC holster as a gift. The retention was a loose so I contacted them to have it adjusted. I just got it back today and the damn thing is so tight I cannot remove my gun from the holster without tapping the holster with something like a hammer. I'm a over sending it in again and I'm just trying to fix it myself. Should I heat it up in the oven and try to stretch it while it's warm? Mike C - This question is pure curiosity. Do any of you have experience with the Primary Weapons ratchet lock castle nut and end plate, and would you buy/use it? I know it's twice as much as a regular end plate and castle nut set, but would laziness justify the additional cost? I can't wait for Jeremy's rant on how this is stupid. Peter J - Living in commie Washington, my son turned 21 and looking at strictly range guns. What would be the most fun type of gun in your opinion for him to get? Steve B - Every now and then I get the urge to carry a revolver, as a backup or a quick run to the store gun. Seems like the Smith and Wesson 642 is a gold standard in that field but part of me likes the idea of a shrouded hammer in the Smith 638. Or am I going the wrong route altogether and should consider the Ruger LCR in 9mm over 38 special for a snub nose. Cast of WLS, what say you? The winner of this week's swag pack is Ballpark Frank! Well, not you Shawn. Not you Jeremy. Not you Nick. Not really Savage either. Anyway... I had a thought the other day. Has there ever been or what do you think about a recoil suppression device, similar to a dead blow hammer. Some sort of sand filled cavity that would reciprocate more softly? I don't know, more of a concept idea. Interesting to think about I guess. P.s. Cumin Ciderbox - Double tap 404, in regards to the name/fruit orange- The color used to be called something else in English, a close conjugate of the Spanish ‘Naranja”. The fruit was already “orange” when the two became so closely linked that people just used the fruit to refer to the color. Think “Lime Green” every time someone refers to anything green to the point people forget the word “green”. That's what happened to orange. As for a question- how do you like your eggs? GOALS August 9th and 10th in Knoxville, Tennessee. https://events.goa.org/goals/ - Dear WLS John M - Gentlemen, Who do you recommend to port a barrel and a slide? I don't want to add a Ramjet to my gun because of the extra length (plus i already have one on my G45). I like the idea of the Glock 19c, but its a Gen 3 and no optic cut. What is your opinion on this? Thanks! Hunter D - What closed emitter sight would you guys put on a Springfield prodigy 4.25” ? If this gun continues to pass my testing I'd like to use it in my EDC rotation. I'm open to options and not stuck on any brand. Budget is not a big concern but I'd say under $750 for sure and that should get me a lot of options. Hell I'm even open to open emitter but really want to try a closed emitter for this gun. Thank you in advance for any insight you guys can provide. #aaronisacunt #jeremyisNOTacunt #WLSISLIFE Aiden S - I don't know if I've ever heard y'all directly answer this question. It's been talked about indirectly, but I don't think it's ever been posed to you like thisWhen should a gun owner lose their gun rights—if ever? Should it be only while they're serving a sentence? Does that include everything from jail time to community service, or even while they're still paying off a fine? Or should their rights remain suspended beyond that period? And should it matter whether the offense was violent or non-violent when they're released from prison or done serving their sentence? A-in-your-face S - Last year I picked up a Desert Eagle. I bought it on a whim, because it was an awesome price. And damn, if it isnt hella fun to shoot. I would like to try and pig hunt with it. What optic, red dot, prism, etc. would yall recommend? I plan to the typical barrel rail mount. #NoNotes Jimmy Jimmy - Hey guys, I'm following up on a prior question about an extractor issue on an AR10 (episode 402, timestamp 1440-2122). I appreciate most of your suggestions and have the following results -contact the manufacturer *Unfortunately, this is not an option. I bought the BCG a while back but only recently tested it. Lesson learned. -check extractor spring & o-rings *All are present and appear identical. -check headspace by measuring bolt face to front of bolt & compare original to new. *Identical +/- .002”. Not enough difference to make a difference. -dump some hot wax in there and make a mold of each one to see if they're the same *Good idea, Aaron, but I'll pass. -put some JB Weld in there *Another great idea from Aaron. No, thanks. -test new bolt in old carrier *Same issue. -test old extractor in new bolt & carrier *Works! -compare extractors side by side *The failing extractor hook feels “sharper”. Maybe someday I'll look into modifying the misshapen extractor. Honestly, that's probably not going to happen. Final solution, I ordered a JP Enterprises enhanced extractor and I have full confidence it will work. Thanks for the help! Nick F - so I was in a local gun shop with a buddy last week. I came across thos aow shotgun pistols that hold like 4 rounds. what's your opinion on them? is it something you wouldn't mind under your driver's seat during riot season?

Your hosts tonight are Jeremy Pozderac, Aaron Krieger, Nick Lynch, and me Shawn Herrin, welcome to the show! Dear WLS Dependable Don - Jeremy vs people that think 22 is a viable carry option, in a bus. Who wins? Jimmy - I have a 16” AR10 in 308 that runs like a champ. I bought a nickel boron BCG to have as a back up, but it has a persistent issue. When chambering a round it often fails to go into battery. If I ram it home with the forward assist it will then fire the round but fail to extract the case. The case heads show damage at the rim including crushing and tearing of the rim. My assumption is that the extractor is out of spec. It moves freely and the spring tension seems comparable to the original Aero. I've read somewhere about tuning extractors by changing the hook angle but I've never tried anything like that. I know I can just replace the extractor, but I'm taking this as a learning experience. I have a caliper and files, but I need some intel. Where would I find the schematics showing the correct shape & size of the extractor? Would you guys try this procedure or shitcan this garbage? By the time you read this I will probably have solved the problem, but hopefully it sparks a conversation. Thanks. Andrew C - What's up my dudes, Why the fuck does Aaron always sound like he has cotton balls in his mouth on the pod? Shitty mic or does he just sound like that? Either way it does'nt make me hate him any less. Anywho, I am starting a P365 build and want to get your guys opinion on a couple things. I already bought the base model 365 (basically just for slide and fcu) as well as a radian ramjet/afterburner for it. My goal is to put that on an xmacro frame so everything sits flush at the end of the pistol while having more to grip on the module. Do you guys have any recommendations on grip modules, triggers, trigger spring kits, etc? Looking at the wilson combat grip module or just getting the Sig xmacro frame and throwing on the radian backstrap/magwell. Also looking at the Tyrant cnc intellifire and pairng it with the tactical triggers trigger kit to take care of slop and crisp it up a fair amount. Any input/experience with those items or have other recs?Yes, I already know that putting all this on an xmacro frame makes it a larger gun to carry, but I dont give two shits about that. TIA for any input. Stay free or get fucked. Ethan P - For those of us planning our GunCon trip already. Jeremy, where should we go to eat while we're in your town? Jay W - Wasssaaaaaappp (man I miss the 90s and those Budweiser commercials) I just picked up my 2nd suppressor (Anechoic 30) and decided to go with the Deadair Keymo, found a brake and adapter at Brownells (use code WLS10). This is my first QD setup and thought a QD would be smart with a 30 cal can to swap it on a few of my builds for youtube reviews and flexibility with my arsenal (until I get more cans). So what's the deal with the mixed feelings on keymo? Depending on who you talk to you get a different opinion and some opinions (while everyone is entitled to one) are just plain dumb. You guys have a range of backgrounds and I'm just wondering if I did ok with choosing keymo or if I should convert to something else (since I'm not fully committed yet). Note- No notes. P.S. Who is the jackass that invented P.S. for letters? Like bro, just find space in the paragraph above to get your point across and end the letter with ""Sincerely"" and wrap it up B. Travis M - Nick, You've mentioned primarily appendix carrying, what holster brand and model do you use for your Smith & Wesson Airweight? Does your holster use belt loops, ulti clips or something else? Shoot straight, Travis

I plan to get a black rhino concealment appendix holster, and I am contemplating whether or not I should include my weapons mounted light on it or not. In your opinion, what are the advantages and disadvantages of including a weapon mounted light on a daily carry gun? It will be a pin and weld 14.5". I was originally going to go with an OCL Polonium but I'm interested in the Griffin dual-lok suppressor package. Is it hearing safe/comfortable? Zack K - What firearms do your wives and Nick's partner either carry or enjoy shooting? Also, in reference to double tap 362, Jeremy how much would one of your hogs cost to test the pig suppressor? Dependable Don - Who would win, Jermey vs a pack of coyotes but locked in a bus? (No notes) Eli K - I have an MPX and a PTR 9CT. Since the PTR already has a tri lug, should I get the ILWT (In Lead We Trust) MPX Tri Lug Adapter? I plan to get a Wardog K9 with the Vers 3-Lug adapter. Also, will I be happy with the Wardog on these guns? I know I'm sacrificing some performance vs the VERS 9, but the Wardog looks awesome. This will be my first suppressor. Mike - Dear WLS! I can't keep this to myself any longer! I've been watching you for so long Aaron. I just need to say I want to pummel your SSB like there's no tomorrow! Shawn has to sit in the cuck chair to see what will be cumming for him in the end days when the cult comes for their pound of his SSB. Oooookay now the real question. I work construction and I want your opinions on how to carry everyday when going to work. I can't keep the pistol on me all day because I'm doing to much movement that would expose the firearm so should I get a safe for my car and just leave it in my car during the day or what are your suggestions. Also most sites are not a fenced in site. PS. Get Savages bitch ass back on the damn show. If we have to go to his house as the cult to take him back then we shall! Thanks gays! You're the best and sorry for the long one. Keep pounding our ear pussies! Alex W - Hi. I have an old Ruger Blackhawk that I bought used with an aftermarket set of white plastic imitation ivory grips on it. I like how they look but they hang down below the bottom of the grip frame by like 1/32 of an inch. Is there a good way to sand down plastic grips like that to match the grip frame without them ending up looking like shit? I wouldn't care but that little overhang tends to bite into my hand with hard kicking rounds. Nick B - Hey guys I just picked up a raging hunter 500 magnum with the 8” barrel. Looking for suggestions on which Gideon red dot you'd recommend. Don't have anything from them yet, but since they meet the criteria for you to work with them I really want to give them a try. The use case is just a range toy really and I like red dots. My co-host (Darius) and I were sent a question recently and we wanted to get your perspective. What makes a gun superior over another? Also, what do you think should be the standard for handgun manufacturers ala Jon Patton's Standards(capacity, optic cut, light rail, magazines, etc.)? If a handgun doesn't meet this standard, will you refuse to purchase it in the future? Love the show and thanks for all the support on FRN. Note - No notes. Desert Deagleton - I'm looking for a new suppressor host. Can you guys recommend an interesting or unique 22 rifle with a 16” barrel? I'd prefer something manually operated or a single shot as I already have 2 10/22s and a Charger. Ron H - For your carry pistol, if you could only have one of two accessories, which would the cast choose. Optic or Light. To clarify, when stating Optic it is regarding a Red Dot or other colored (yes, colored) electronic optic. You may still have your selection of Iron sights. For Light, I am specifically referring to a weapon mounted light and not a handheld. Many instructors and even the cast discuss the importance of a WML for PID. And to make it more fun, you can each pick your recommendation to support your decision. I know we all want a Crimson Trace duo on our guns, but we can't have it all sometimes now that I have to put menthol cigarettes back in my budget. #WLSisLife #jeremyisacunt #shootatsounds Hugmuffin Actual - My wife bought me one of your epic bright pink Camorado Highgarden shirts for Christmas, and it manages to make me look even more handsome than usual. Now that you are a high-end fashion producer mentioned in the same breath as "Vercase", "Lagerfeld" and "Dior", what were some of the trials and tribulations you encountered while bringing your Camorado clothing line into the world? Can something be just gay or just retarded or is it a package deal? Do they even have precise definitions or is it more of a "I know it when I see it" kind of thing? Opponents of the bill filibustered for 14 hours over three rounds of debate. The bill was opposed primarily by lawmakers in the areas of Omaha and Lincoln, where the majority of gun violence in the state occurs. The bill ended up passing 33-14 (via the Associated Press): The bill does not usurp the federal requirement for a background check to buy a gun, and those with a history of crime or mental health issues that bar them from possessing a gun would still be barred under the Nebraska bill. But it allows eligible people to carry guns hidden in their clothing or vehicle without having to pay for a government permit or take a gun safety course, which is currently required. It also overrides stricter gun laws in the state's cities, including in the state's largest city of Omaha, which requires a conceal carry license for anyone carrying a gun in a car — even if the gun is in open view. Sen. Tom Brewer of Gordon — the bill's conservative sponsor who has tried since 2017 to pass it — expressed frustration with the yearslong opposition to it and said his sole purpose was to ensure Nebraskans are afforded their constitutional right to carry guns. An Alaska man is lucky to be alive after a recent brown bear attack in the Last Frontier. What lessons can we learn from yet one more wild animal attack? We discuss this in detail during our SOTG Homeroom from CrossBreed Holsters. During this week’s Brownells Bullet Points, Professor Paul will enumerate three things that you should consider before you buy another gun. What are they? Target has announced that they will no longer sell Pokemon or sports trading cards in their stores. Why would they make such a decision? What reason is behind this move? Dr. Theresa Tam said in a statement there is little chance of catching COVID-19 from semen or vaginal fluid, but sexual activity with new partners does increase the risk of contracting the virus, particularly if there is close contact like kissing. "Like other activities during COVID-19 that involve physical closeness, there are some things you can do to minimize the risk of getting infected and spreading the virus," she said. A federal judge has tossed the California ammo ban and restrictions placed on the sale of ammunition within the People’s Republik of Kalifornia. The judge used the words “onerous and convoluted” in his description of the unconstitutional bill. Our Warrior of the Week has a question about handgun sights and consistency. U.S. District Judge Roger Benitez in San Diego ruled in favor of the California Rifle & Pistol Association, which asked him to stop the checks and related restrictions on ammo sales. “The experiment has been tried. The casualties have been counted. California’s new ammunition background check law misfires and the Second Amendment rights of California citizens have been gravely injured,” Benitez wrote in a 120-page opinion granting the group's motion for a preliminary injunction. (Click Here for Full Article) From blog.full30.com: “There’s nothing I can do with red dots that I cannot do with my iron sights.” So said the gentleman on the pistol range standing next to me. To be fair, his assessment was likely correct, at least for as far as what he was doing. The gentleman was slow-firing at a paper target that was about five yards down range. He was under no time constraints. The lighting was good. He was standing tall with both hands on his pistol. Under the circumstances that I just described, stock iron sights would very likely suffice and that is the prism through which most people will look. When the subject of fighting with a pistol in your hands comes up, all of those factors will be suspect. In a fight, time is NOT on your side. More likely than not, you will be moving and your opponent will be moving. The available light will be poor and you may only have the time or opportunity to use a single hand.
