Another third are expanding, including Florida and Utah, based on payrolls, employment, and other key economic data. This graphic, via Visual Capitalist’s Dorothy Neufeld, shows recession risk by state in 2025, based on analysis from Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics. In Maine, for instance, year-over-year GDP growth is just 0.8% as of Q2 2025, compared to the U.S. average of 2.1%. Meanwhile, Washington, D.C.'s unemployment rate was 6.4% in July, significantly higher than the 4.6% U.S. average given sweeping federal cuts. According to Zandi's analysis, New York and California are “Treading Water”, together responsible for driving over 22% of U.S. GDP. In comparison, Texas, which fuels 9.4% of U.S. economic growth is expanding. Unemployment rates of 4.0% in July remain below the U.S. average. Additionally, the Texas economy is growing faster than the nation, while income growth rose 6.3% annually as of Q2 2025, outpacing the national average.   Source: zerohedge.com (function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:18510697282300316,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8599-9832"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="https://cdn2.decide.dev/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs"); https://twitter.com/unseen1_unseen/status/2003254895143461092?s=20   caused by falling home prices while increasing the affordability of homes. Home builders aren’t going to build more homes if they are losing money. Trump can’t force them to build homes. This is where thinking outside the box comes in play and things like the 50 year mortgage, interest rate cuts, lower down-payments, salt taxes etc get proposed. With deportations and the decline of the boomer generation from old age, supply will be increasing. Prices will come down. The trick is not to allow them to go into a free fall and keep demand high enough to soak up a great deal of that supply. Trump’s proposed $2,000 tariff rebate checks depend on Congress   President Donald Trump needs Congress to take action to make good on a proposal to send some Americans $2,000 tariff rebate checks next year. Director of the National Economic Council Kevin Hassett said the U.S. House and Senate will need to take up the matter. “I would expect that in the new year, the president will bring forth a proposal to Congress to make that happen,” Hassett said on “Face the Nation” on Sunday. Details about Trump’s tariff rebate proposal remain sparse. Trump has said he wants to issue the rebate checks and use the rest of the tariff revenue to pay down the nation’s $38 trillion debt, even as the U.S. Supreme Court has not yet determined whether he has the authority to impose tariffs. Nowadays, when there is good news, the Market goes down, because everybody thinks that Interest Rates will be immediately lifted to take care of “potential” Inflation. That means that, essentially, we can never have a Great Market again, those Markets from the time when our Nation was building up, and becoming great. Strong Markets, even phenomenal Markets, don't cause Inflation, stupidity does! I want my new Fed Chairman to lower Interest Rates if the Market is doing well, not destroy the Market for no reason whatsoever. I want to have a Market the likes of which we haven't had in many decades, a Market that goes up on good news, and down on bad news, the way it should be, and the way it was. Inflation will take care of itself and, if it doesn't, we can always raise Rates at the appropriate time — But the appropriate time is not to kill Rallies, which could lift our Nation by 10, 15, and even 20 GDP points in a year — and maybe even more than that! A Nation can never be Economically GREAT if “eggheads” are allowed to do everything within their power to destroy the upward slope. We are going to be encouraging the Good Market to get better, rather than make it impossible for it to do so. We are going to see numbers that are far more natural, and far better, than they have ever been before. We are going to, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! The United States should be rewarded for SUCCESS, not brought down by it. Anybody that disagrees with me will never be the Fed Chairman! Epstein told prison staff he didn't remember what happened but was afraid to return to the Special Housing Unit, saying it was “where he had gotten marks on his neck and he does not know why it happened.” He said he had only slept 30 minutes a night for five days due to noise and stress. His cellmate, ex-cop Nicholas Tartaglione, had reportedly been harassing him, and Epstein claimed “he tried to kill me.” Staff noted Tartaglione had been aggressive and was seen mocking Epstein with a string around his neck. Whoever controls the data controls the pace, the scope, and the fallout. And remember: Epstein died before trial. Maxwell was prosecuted narrowly. No broader conspiracy case ever materialized. Prediction: this is why. Not because the evidence didn't exist- but because it never cohered into something prosecutors could safely touch without detonating their own case. Apparently, an email from January 2020 in which a federal prosecutor from New York – of course – to an “undisclosed person” claiming Trump had flown on Jeffrey Epstein’s private plan at least eight times during the 1990s, and one time there was a 20-year-old woman on the flight.  Here’s more: The email, which was sent in January 2020 from a federal prosecutor in New York to an undisclosed person, says, “For your situational awareness, wanted to let you know that the flight records we received yesterday reflect that Donald Trump traveled on Epstein's private jet many more times than previously has been reported (or that we were aware), including during the period we would expect to charge in a [Ghislaine] Maxwell case.”  This big revelation is that Trump traveled a few more times than we previously knew, although this was during a time period that the president has already acknowledged having had an association with Epstein. Note the timing of the email – January 2020 is when the presidential election would be kicking into full swing. This anonymous federal prosecutor clearly thought they had a gotcha moment, but there’s a pesky little detail that puts things in perspective: “[Trump] is listed as having traveled with, among others and at various times, Marla Maples, his daughter Tiffany, and his son Eric.”  Source: redstate.com The specific document you’re referring to appears to be the complaint filed in the 2020 civil lawsuit Doe v. Indyke et al. (Case No. 1:20-cv-00484, S.D.N.Y.), which was part of the recently released Epstein files by the U.S. Department of Justice.  This lawsuit was brought by an anonymous plaintiff (“Jane Doe”) against the executors of Jeffrey Epstein’s estate (Darren Indyke and Richard Kahn) and Ghislaine Maxwell, seeking compensation for alleged sexual abuse and trafficking by Epstein. How Trump’s Name Appears in the DocumentOn page 4 of the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that during one of her encounters with Epstein (around the 1990s), he took her to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida when she was 14 years old. Epstein reportedly introduced her to Donald Trump (then the owner of Mar-a-Lago), elbowed him playfully, and asked, referring to the girl, “This is a good one, right?” Trump is described as smiling and nodding in agreement, after which they both chuckled. The plaintiff states she felt uncomfortable but was too young to understand why at the time. The document does not accuse Trump of any criminal wrongdoing or involvement in Epstein’s abuse; it frames this as part of the broader context of her grooming and exploitation by Epstein. How the Name Got Into the DocumentTrump’s name was included as part of the plaintiff’s personal allegations detailing her experiences with Epstein. The complaint is a legal filing where the victim recounts specific incidents to support her claims against Epstein’s estate and associates. It reflects her firsthand account, not a court-verified fact or evidence from other sources.  There is no mention of independent corroboration (e.g., witnesses, photos, or records) in the filing itself, and it has not been adjudicated in court as true.Source of the AllegationThe source is the anonymous plaintiff (“Jane Doe”), who claims to be a victim of Epstein’s abuse starting from age 13 or 14.  She was reportedly recruited at a summer camp in Michigan and alleges ongoing grooming and assaults by Epstein over several years. This Doe is distinct from other known accusers like Virginia Giuffre, though a similar incident (Epstein introducing a 14-year-old to Trump at Mar-a-Lago without the “good one” comment) was testified to by another accuser (“Jane”) during Ghislaine Maxwell’s 2021 criminal trial.  https://twitter.com/disclosetv/status/2003236602374713557?s=20 DOGE Geopolitical https://twitter.com/BreannaMorello/status/2003196698974191914?s=20   that are protected under the Constitution. Under D.C. law, anyone wishing to own a firearm must register it with the MPD. However, the D.C. Code imposes a sweeping ban on the registration—and thus the legal possession—of a wide range of firearms. This broad prohibition, the Justice Department argues, infringes on the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens who seek to keep and bear commonly owned firearms for lawful purposes. Trump's DOJ Sues Washington, D.C. Police Department Over Unconstitutional Ban on Semi-Automatic Firearms The Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against the District of Columbia's Metropolitan Police Department for enforcing a ban on semi-automatic firearms in violation of the Second Amendment. The lawsuit alleges that D.C.'s gun laws require registration of all firearms with the MPD; however, the D.C. Code imposes a sweeping ban on numerous protected weapons, making it legally impossible for residents to own them for self-defense or other lawful purposes. The DOJ said in a press release announcing the lawsuit: “MPD's current pattern and practice of refusing to register protected firearms is forcing residents to sue to protect their rights and to risk facing wrongful arrest for lawfully possessing protected firearms.” “Today's action from the Department of Justice's new Second Amendment Section underscores our ironclad commitment to protecting the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Americans,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. Bondi continued, “Washington, DC's ban on some of America's most popular firearms is an unconstitutional infringement on the Second Amendment — living in our nation's capital should not preclude law-abiding citizens from exercising their fundamental constitutional right to keep and bear arms.” Echoing this sentiment, Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon of the Civil Rights Division added, “This Civil Rights Division will defend American citizens from unconstitutional restrictions of commonly used firearms, in violation of their Second Amendment rights. The newly established Second Amendment Section filed this lawsuit to ensure that the very rights D.C. resident Mr. Heller secured 17 years ago are enforced today — and that all law-abiding citizens seeking to own protected firearms for lawful purposes may do so.” The case draws directly from the landmark 2008 Supreme Court decision in District of Columbia v. Heller, where the Court affirmed that the Second Amendment protects the right of law-abiding citizens to own semi-automatic weapons in their homes for self-defense. However, precision air strikes on cartel assets seems like a probable outcome. Trump is neutralizing Deep State assets around the globe, and South/Central American drug cartels are assets of the Deep State. They are transnational criminal organizations responsible for the drug, weapon, and human trafficking of the Western hemisphere, and their racket feeds the Deep State machine. My guess is, that cartel drug factories and assets are going to get smoked by the US MIL via precision air strikes, and the other powerful leaders of the world have already agreed to some sort of deal with Trump and no one will interfere. Just like Iran and Syria. I think most of the leaders/nations of the world agree with Trump that these transnational criminal organizations must be eradicated, and stability must be brought to the world. President Unveils ‘Trump Class’ Of Warships, Huntington Ingalls Shares Jump    build two new “Trump-class” battleships, to acquire 20-25 of these ships in the coming years.   In his address, the President noted these 30,000-40,000 ton ships will carry a large quantity of missiles, including hypersonic missiles, and will also be outfitted with electromagnetic rail guns and directed energy lasers. Trump-class battleships will also carry nuclear-armed sea launched cruise missiles (currently under development) adding an additional element of nuclear deterrence to the Navy. Trump-class destroyers appear to be designed as the center of enhanced command and control networks at sea, as the Navy looks to field more autonomous assets and traditional vessels in the coming years.   The first “Trump-class” battleship will be named USS Defiant, and it will be even longer than the Iowa-class battleships of the World War II era. However, at 35,000 tons, it will only weigh about half as much, and have a smaller crew of between 650 and 850 sailors; the Iowa had some 2,700 sailors. The new ships — which are being called “guided missile battleships” —  are part of larger vision for a “Golden Fleet.” The Navy has rolled out a website to promote that concept. This section amends the Help America Vote Act of 2002 by adding a “Required Penetration Testing” section that “provides for the conduct of penetration testing as part of the testing, certification, decertification, and recertification of voting system hardware and software” by an accredited laboratory. The amendment now requires the penetration testing as a condition of certification from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) and allows consultation with the National Institute of Standards and Technology or any other federal agency on “lab selection criteria” and “other aspects of the program.” While this is still short of a legitimate attempt at ensuring election integrity, it is an effort toward scrutinizing the voting systems by finally requiring cybersecurity experts to do what Clay Parikh was restricted from doing during his time as a VSTL contractor. Hand-marked paper ballots hand-counted at the precinct level, is being utilized in Dallas County, TX for the 2026 midterm primaries, and is still the ultimate goal of the election integrity community to ensure free and fair elections in the United States. Source: thegatewaypundit.com Penetration testing, often abbreviated as “pen testing,” is a cybersecurity practice where authorized experts simulate real-world cyberattacks on a computer system, network, or application to identify and exploit vulnerabilities before malicious actors can do so. The goal is to uncover weaknesses in security measures, such as software flaws, misconfigurations, or inadequate defenses, and provide recommendations for remediation. It typically involves several stages: Planning and reconnaissance: Gathering information about the target system. Scanning: Using tools to probe for potential entry points. Gaining access: Attempting to exploit vulnerabilities to breach the system. Maintaining access: Testing how long access can be sustained without detection. Analysis and reporting: Documenting findings, risks, and fixes. Why Should We Care About the Indo-Pacific?

In this essential episode, Ray Powell and Jim Carouso welcome two returning guests and leading strategic thinkers: retired Australian Army Major General Mick Ryan, author of “The War for Ukraine: Strategy and Adaptation Under Fire,” and Zack Cooper, senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and co-host of the Net Assessment Podcast. Together, they dissect the Trump administration's newly released National Security Strategy and its implications for U.S. alliances, Indo-Pacific security, and the evolving competition with China.NSS Unveiled: Zack explains what the National Security Strategy (NSS) is - the connective tissue linking U.S. objectives to the ways and means of achieving them - while noting the internal contradictions and lack of central logic. Released with minimal fanfare in early December, this NSS marks a significant departure from conventional approaches to American global engagement.Regional Winners and Losers: Mick offers his characteristically candid, “she'll be right, mate” assessment, arguing that while Europe faces a much more civilizational challenge under this strategy, Indo-Pacific allies like Australia, Japan, and Taiwan emerge relatively intact. The document maintains U.S. commitment to the defense of the first island chain, though the beleaguered Philippines notably goes unmentioned.Spheres of Influence and Inconsistencies: The experts dissect the document's troubling embrace of spheres of influence - asserting U.S. primacy in the Americas while condemning Chinese ambitions in Asia. This contradiction, combined with transactional mercantilism replacing values-based alliances, signals a fundamental shift in American grand strategy. The China Challenge: Both guests critique how the NSS reduces all of Asia to a China problem, ignoring critical issues in South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Islands. They explore China's aggressive response to Japanese Prime Minister Takeuchi's Taiwan comments and what Beijing's gray zone operations reveal about testing U.S. resolve.Deterrence and Taiwan: Zack warns that U.S. strategy focuses too narrowly on preventing a Taiwan amphibious invasion while neglecting China's political warfare strategy. Mick emphasizes that Xi Jinping views Taiwan as a political problem, not primarily a military one, and may seek a grand bargain with President Trump.Technology and National Security: The conversation addresses the controversial decision to allow Nvidia to sell advanced H200 chips to China, which both view as a significant national security mistake that undermines the technology competition goals in the NSS.Congressional Pushback: The recently released National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) includes provisions constraining troop withdrawals from South Korea and other guardrails, reflecting bipartisan congressional frustration with lack of Pentagon consultation.Episode 118 provides indispensable analysis for understanding how U.S. Indo-Pacific strategy is developing under Trump 2.0, and why allies and adversaries alike are recalculating their positions in the world's most dynamic and consequential region.

On this week's episode, Grace Colón, Chris Garabedian, Sam Fazeli, Paul Matteis, Yaron Werber, and special guest John Stanford kick off with a policy discussion on the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), outlining both the opportunities and constraints it presents for biotech. The bill includes major biotech provisions such as a scaled back-down version of the BIOSECURE Act and the creation of a DoD Biotech Office, which suggests that biotech is now viewed as a national security asset. The conversation then shifts to positive signs in the biotech sector, including rising valuations, a decrease in companies with negative enterprise value, and predictions for the number of IPOs expected in the first half of 2026. Next, the group discusses conference highlights, including data from ASH presented by Lilly, BeOne Medicines, Gilead, and Arcellx versus J&J and Legend, as well as Genmab's Epkinly. In other data news, the discussion turns to Dyne Therapeutics' plans to seek FDA approval for DYNE-251 for DMD, following promising Phase 1/2 trial results. Despite some investor concerns about the FDA's regulatory stance on rare diseases, sentiment remains optimistic that it will be approved. The episode closes with a round robin where each co-host shares their optimism levels for biotech in 2026, rating it on a scale from 1 to 10. *This episode aired on December 12, 2025.

Mr. McAllister explains that the main goals of the updates are to reduce processing timelines by placing an emphasis on more thorough submissions as well as align with the expanded efforts to assess and mitigate foreign ownership, control or influence (FOCI) following the implementation of Section 847 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). One of the most significant changes to the document is in Question B, where the threshold of foreign revenue has been lowered from 30 percent to 15 percent, which will qualify a much higher number of companies. Importantly, Mr. McAllister clarifies that listeners who have previously submitted documents should not be alarmed — if you submitted or signed an SF-328 form prior to May 12, 2025, the old form is acceptable — but moving forward, any new actions must be conducted using the new form.

Mitigation strategies such as proxy agreements and outside directors are highlighted to ensure compliance and safeguard national security. The episode also revisits Section 847 from the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which mandates FOCI assessments for non-classified U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) contracts valued at $5 million or more and represents a significant expansion of FOCI regulations. The latest defense bill allocates money to the South China Seas as the US government prepares for war with China, allegedly by 2027 according to the military. This is a major piece of the puzzle that will bring World War 3 to fruition and it's all entirely scripted and by design to force humanity into a "Great Reset" and a power shift from the west to the east. Free Thinking Through the Fourth Turning with Sasha Stone

Just when you thought America was No Country for White Men, the Democrats have once again rewritten their own rules. White people, even white men, are in. And all to show up for the coronation of the first woman of color to win an election without ever having won a primary. It was never losing democracy. They were worried that the wrong people would have a say in this democracy. And in their minds, it was white men. Well, what a difference a Joe Biden stepping down makes. Next, on the Greatest Show on Earth will be the choice of Veep. Desperate not to fumble the ball on their way to making history, it has been decided that it must be a WHITE MALE, preferably heterosexual. After five years or more of de-centering white men and heterosexuality from movies, culture, and politics, it's the white guy they now need. But it can't be a white guy at the top of the ticket. The dream machine would never get away with that. He has to ride shotgun, like a driving instructor at the DMV.We're all supposed to pretend like history is really being made when, in fact, it's history being manufactured. Harris did nothing to earn her place except be a woman of color. I would not call that DEI, only because it's an easy way for self-righteous people to get up on their high horses and start lecturing you about racism. No, I would talk about equity instead. If someone hands you a job you either aren't ready for or don't deserve, you never get the credit. The white person giving you the job gets the credit. But if you fail, you're on your own.For white people, especially rich white people, that's the greatest thing ever. Finally, real purpose at long last. Finally, absolution for their sins of wealth and privilege. The hunt for a white dude to fill the slot of Veep is looking like The Bachelor back when all the contestants were white, a legacy that would come back to haunt them later. So far, none of the shrill social justice warriors are demanding Harris pick someone other than a white male. They care about winning, too, so whatever. The problem for them is that the names buzzing about now are all politicians who might upstage Harris. How to pick the Tim Kaine of the bunch and still defeat Trump? We know identity matters on the Left more than anything, so this isn't really about whether Harris can do the job. It's whether they can prop her up to make it seem like she can. Pennsylvania's Josh Shapiro, Arizona's Mark Kelly, and Minnesota's Tim Walz all would have done better in the primary than Harris if there had been a primary. They have twice her accomplishments and a better record. But for now, they will merely be a symbol of reassurance, like a security camera to ward off criminals. I guess “normie white guys” are good for something after all. Vote for Kamala Harris or you're a racist! No group is more narcissistic and yet more self-hating than liberal white women. I should know. I was one. We spent so many decades on self-improvement to try to rid ourselves of the self-hate. Therapy that went nowhere except to make us focus even more on ourselves. Drugs that perhaps took the edge off like booze used to do. Fitness, meditation, and eventually Ozempic. That must be why the Harris campaign thought gathering all of those white women on a Zoom call to “show up” for Harris was a good idea. Suddenly, the Harris campaign is defined by “white power.” A white Veep to temper Harris, and now, white women to get a strict talking-to about how they have to do everything they can to ensure the woman of color wins. But just in case, they're hitching a white man along for the ride. To sum it up in agonizing, torturous detail is Ariell Fodor, one of those terrifying millennial women who want to control everything we say, think, do, eat, and drive. They all read “white fragility,” and they've already de-centered themselves from the narrative. She probably has an abandoned Tumblr out there populated with cancel culture call-outs and social justice screeds. White power at long last, courtesy of the Harris campaign:Not to be outdone, the white men were ready too.The Great White Heterosexual Man ScareI didn't need this political election to see that the Left has all but eliminated heterosexual men from the narrative. They've vanished from movies almost completely. If they do exist, they're shunted to the background as the girl boss saves the day.It now seems obvious that what was threatening about Trump has been his unapologetic masculinity. It isn't that Trump showcases it, but he is a masculine man who has a long history of womanizing. That he could win an election against a woman drove the first major mass hysteria event on the Left, and sparked the Me Too movement. All manner of sexuality is allowed in parades, in parks, and in restaurants as long as the male is gay or trans. Heterosexual men are seen as perverts and predators if they express any of their sexuality. And it's their sexuality that the Democrats are attempting to target with this new ad depicting them as creepy and “weird.” The word of the day that the zombie robots on the Left repeated and repeated and repeated. There's just one problem. They're the weird side, and everyone knows it. In their minds, anything normal is bad. Having kids is bad. Having abortions is good. Getting married is bad. Casual sex is good. Serving in the military, attending college, and becoming a Senator is bad. Bouncing around on psych meds aimlessly until you decide you were born in the wrong body is good.To them, this is normal:And this:Normal to them is using the word “chestfeeding” and calling biological men mothers and biological women fathers. Normal to them is Chelsea Handler skiing down a mountain with her dog in a backpack, smoking a joint, and bragging about being childless. Methinks the lady doth protest too much. Topless transgender people at Joe Biden's White House. Nothing weird about that. They want this to be seen as normal:And this:White men, according to them, have always been the problem — until right this very minute, and now they refuse to appoint anyone other than a white male. Does that seem normal to you? There is no such thing as a moderate Democrat. The Veepstakes will be about finding a moderate to help Harris win in the swing states. But remember, despite how they look and how the press will position them, they are just as radical as she is. They have to be. They couldn't survive today's Democratic Party if they weren't. Normie White Guy #1Josh Shapiro seems like a moderate. He supports Israel in the war in Gaza. He supports school vouchers. But to really expose the extremists on the Left, they have to be able to pass the “gender-affirming care” test, which none of them can. Even Shapiro appears to be supportive. Normie White Guy #2Tim Walz of Minnesota is among those “normie white dudes” calling JD Vance “weird,” but he's fully on board with “gender-affirming care.”So who's the weird one?Normie White Guy #3 Senator Mark Kelly seems to be the closest thing to a moderate. He talks a good game and, from the looks of it, has no baggage. Does he pass the test? Nope. Kelly was among the Democrats who voted to strip a bill of a ban on “gender-affirming care”:A handful of Senate Democrats voted last month against legislation that would bar a military health benefit program from covering gender procedures on children that could result in sterilization — including hormone therapy and puberty blockers. All 12 Democratic members of the Senate Armed Services Committee — as well as independent Angus King of Maine — voted June 29 to strip the provision from the must-pass 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), opening the door for the Pentagon to fund so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors.Panel Chairman Jack Reed (D-RI) joined Sens. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii), Tim Kaine (D-Va.), Gary Peters (D-Mich.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.), Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) and centrist Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) in opposing the provision during the committee's markup of the bill. The Democrats pulled a fast one on us all in 2020 when they sold America on the “normie white guy” Joe Biden. He's not a woman, not a woman of color, not a gay man, not a socialist. He's a moderate. And yet, when Joe Biden took power he tacked far to the Left in a way that shocked us all. And that is a cautionary tale. Her Veep choices might fool voters because they look like “normie white guys,” but in reality, they will follow Harris anywhere she wants to go. And where she wants to go is even farther to the Left than Joe Biden. As long as Republicans push out that message, they can give independents the heads up of just what kind of fanaticism they're about to put in power.// This is a public episode. Two of our past guests, John Frankman and Briana Cespedes, join us this week. John is a former Captain in the Army and Green Beret, who was, along with his men, told to wear red armbands to signal that they were unvaccinated. He left the Army due to the Covid mandates. Briana is a former Air Force broadcast journalist. She was put in quarantine for over 140 days in total, being reprimanded for not following what they maintained was a lawful order, and ultimately received a dishonorable discharge.  This week we discuss what they advocated for during the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) week, the signs of a totalitarian society, the need for political and spiritual renewal, and we call upon leaders to remember the Constitution that they swore an oath to follow and defend.  July 2 NDAA update from John and Briana:  We have been proposing amendments to include upgrading discharge statuses to honorable, reinstatement, and the forbidding of future mandates. Nine amendments were proposed for this year's NDAA but only 3 are to be included in the final draft. Those three are the forbidding of future mask mandates on military installations, conducting a study on effects of vaccines and immunity by the Secretary of Defense, and providing reparations for chaplains negatively effected. We are highly disappointed by the lack of amendments voted through in this upcoming NDAA. We will not stop advocating until we see change.  Select Subcommittee Hearing on the Coronavirus P(l)andemic with Anthony Fauci: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nvQTXAgtA6s&t=6229s Declaration of Military Accountability: https://militaryaccountability.net Follow Briana on Instagram: @involuntaryveterans  Follow John on Instagram and X: @johny_franks Watch and listen to The Feds on any of these platforms:  https://taplink.cc/fedsforfreedom Support the Work and Become a Member of Feds For Freedom www.fedsforfreedom.org/join Follow Us on Social Media Instagram/X (Twitter)/Facebook:  @feds4freedomusa

Hey, hey, hey! It's your boy Levi, and welcome back to another wild ride of "What Are We Doing." Buckle up because episode 146 is packed with all the juicy gossip, epic fails, and of course, my signature comedic commentary. Let's dive right in! Can you believe it? Justin Timberlake got himself in some hot water this week. Our boy JT was arraigned on one count of driving while intoxicated and released from police custody in New York. According to police, Timberlake was spotted around 12:37 a.m. in Sag Harbor, New York, driving a 2025 BMW like it was Mario Kart on Rainbow Road. He allegedly didn't stop at a stop sign and couldn't stay in his lane. Classic. When the officer pulled him over, JT reportedly said he “had one martini and followed his friends home.” Yeah, because that always works as an excuse. His eyes were “bloodshot and glassy,” and there was a “strong odor of an alcoholic beverage” on his breath. Smooth move, Justin. But wait, there's more! While everyone else has been gawking at his mug shot, we here at the WAWD pod got an exclusive look at the sobriety test the officer gave him. Trust me, you'll want to check this out. It's pure comedy gold. Next up, let's talk about Bill Belichick, the former Patriots head coach who's now living his best life with his new girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. TMZ dropped a photo of their first encounter on a flight back in February 2021. Bill, rocking a Rutgers sweatshirt, was all smiles next to Jordon, a 24-year-old former cheerleader. You go, girl! Apparently, Bill was so taken with her philosophy project that he autographed her textbook, “Deductive Logic,” listing all the Super Bowls he won. Classic flex. Their relationship turned romantic after Bill's messy breakup with longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday, which, let's be honest, was like watching a slow-motion car crash. Belichick's post-Patriots tour included a pit stop at Gillette Stadium to celebrate Tom Brady's Hall of Fame induction. The legendary duo reunited, and it was like watching the Avengers assemble. Jordon was right there by Bill's side, probably thinking, “I can't believe I'm dating this guy.” ### WWIII and The Draft And just when you thought it couldn't get crazier, WWIII is apparently here, and the draft is back on the table. The House of Representatives just passed a measure that automatically registers men aged 18 to 26 for selective service as part of the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This year's NDAA authorizes a whopping $895.2 billion in military spending – a cool $9 billion increase from last year. Now, I know what you're thinking – the draft hasn't been invoked in over half a century, so why the sudden interest? Well, it turns out that it's still mandatory for all male U.S. citizens to register when they turn 18. Failure to do so is classified as a felony and can lead to a host of legal headaches. Supporters of the amendment argue that this measure will cut down on bureaucratic red tape, help U.S. citizens avoid unnecessary legal issues, and save taxpayer dollars otherwise spent on prosecuting those cases. Instead, the resources can be redirected towards readiness and mobilization rather than education and advertising campaigns to get people to register. And that's not all! The NDAA also includes the largest-ever military pay raise in history, with a 19.5% increase for junior enlisted troops and a 4.5% increase for others. On top of that, there's funding for two new Virginia-class submarines and the establishment of a drone force within the U.S. Army. So, while we're ramping up our military capabilities, the question remains: who's actually going to be called up? Let me tell you, I'm not going unless LuBugg is going with me. We've got Russian nuke subs off the coast of Florida and $75 billion in Russian assets from NATO. The secret services' subs are showing up like it's a Tom Clancy novel. Stay safe out there, folks, because it's about to get real. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/what-are-we-doing-pod/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/what-are-we-doing-pod/support

House Passes Defense Bill to Raise Pay for Troops Against Biden Administration

The House green-lighted an expansive defense spending bill after diligent deliberation last Friday. This bill was remarkable as it incorporated several measures that Republicans vigorously advocated for, despite President Biden and his administration's reservations. After an intense week of voting on more than 300 proposed amendments, conservatives successfully advanced their stances on diversity, critical race theory, and gender transition surgeries. A notable aspect of this bill was a significant 19.5% pay raise for junior enlisted troops, a provision enacted against Biden's stance. Evidently, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) generally enjoys bipartisan support. However, this time, the debate over cultural provisions sparked disagreements. These differences led to the White House's objections to several proposals in the bill, as reported by Fox News. According to Republicans, retracting policies related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and other progressive issues would bolster military preparedness and address the ongoing recruitment crisis in the U.S. military. Among the successfully passed proposals were three amendments specifically addressing DEI positions in the armed forces. These included eliminating the Chief Diversity Officer role and any existing DEI-centric offices and personnel, and the imposition of a freeze on hiring for any similar future positions. Another prominent amendment, approved by the lawmakers, excludes the promotion of critical race theory and other race-related theories within military ranks and files. Furthermore, two more resolutions restrict Pentagon-associated health policies from allocating funds for gender transition surgeries and transgender-specific medical care. An additional stipulation prevents the Department of Defense from providing funds for services related to abortion. These crucial amendments aimed to prioritize military readiness above all other considerations, ensuring that the U.S. military remains strong and agile.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

And if this is too big of a commitment, I'm always thankful for a simple cup of coffee.]Yesterday, Republican Congressman Josh Brecheen of Oklahoma stood on the floor of the U.S. House in support of his amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which you probably know best as the legislation that funds our Defense Department.Mr. Brecheen's amendment, which passed the GOP-majority House in a voice vote, would ban any funding in the final version from being used on drag events, in what is clearly a painfully obvious attempt at pandering to anti-LGBTQ hatred. That, alone, I find hilarious given the very long history of drag performance in the U.S. military, notably among the young men of the Greatest Generation — for that, check out this fantastic write-up from none other than the National War War II Museum (!!!).Anyway, Mr. Brecheen, in his floor speech, stated this:"Young men who make up the bulk of our fighting forces are inspired by G.I. Joe. They're not inspired by a Barbie girl in a Barbie world."The anti-drag nonsense is easy enough for me to laugh off given how patently absurd it is, but this is not. It's profoundly disrespectful to women service members and veterans, and I find it more than a little hypocritical coming from this particular guy.Mr. Brecheen was 22 years old on 9/11 and a healthy, able-bodied young man.He could have enlisted that day or in the many years afterward, but he did not. He declined to serve his country in uniform during a time of war.But more than 300,000 women have enlisted since 9/11.More than 9,000 women have been honored for their actions in direct combat.166 women service members have been killed in combat since 9/11 and more than 1,000 have been wounded.Women like Lt. Emily Perez (1983 - 2006), the first female graduate of West Point to die in Iraq when she was killed in a makeshift bomb that exploded near her Humvee during a combat mission.Women like Senator Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, who lost most of both her legs when the Black Hawk she was co-piloting was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade from Iraqi insurgents. Women like Cpl. Jessica Ellis (1983-2008), a combat medic who volunteered a second time for a dangerous mission clearing a route and was killed in a roadside bomb. She was 24.What was Josh Brecheen doing during that whole time?He worked as a political staffer and owned a motivational speaking business called Brecheen Keynotes and Seminars, and then, he ran for office.I kid you not.And now Mr. Brecheen stands there, insulting the memory of women who have died in combat while he was a coward who stayed home and, ironically, sold motivation.Perhaps it's an appropriate moment for the Congressman to reflect on why he so oddly claims to identify as a patriot when he lacked the courage to serve where the women of this country have so faithfully stood in the breach.Sit down, Sir.And by the way, I'd trust Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig with my life long before I'd ever consider the resignation of settling for your third-rate informercial ass.Charlotte's Web Thoughts is a reader-supported publication. This week on Rational Security, Alan, Quinta, and Scott got together to NOT talk about that ONE big story that's not quite ripe yet. (You know the one. It involves sandwiches.) But they did chat through some of the week's other big national security news, including:“Against the Grain.” Russia backed out of the Turkey-facilitated Black Sea Grain Initiative this past week, which had allowed much needed Ukrainian grain to arrive in markets, largely in the developing world. Now not only is that avenue cut off, but Russian forces are attacking grain facilities in Odessa, threatening the global food supply. How does this brutal act fit into Russia's global strategy? And how should the United States and its allies respond?“It's a War on War.” The culture war is now taking on actual war, as House Republicans have passed a National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) laden with provisions that target Defense Department policies relating to abortion, DEI, and LGBTQ+ issues—measures that are certain not to make it through the Democrat-controlled Senate and may end up putting the annual bill at risk of not being passed at all. How big is the risk of such an impasse? What could it mean for U.S. national security?“Coups are Like Pancakes.” Earlier this week, the New York Times published a report about how former officials in the Trump administration are declaring the first Trump administration a mulligan and outlining plans to dramatically expand presidential power and purge the executive branch if and when Trump returns to the White House for a second time. On Tuesday, the Senate voted to begin considering the 2024 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which authorizes the Department of Defense's annual budget and expenditures. While the bill usually gains widespread bipartisan support, the House's version of the bill faces opposition due to the controversial social issues it addresses. Meanwhile, the House and Senate are hoping that several bipartisan declassification bills related to unidentified anomalous phenomena will provide more transparency surrounding unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs). FOX News Senior Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram previews what the week ahead looks like before another summer recess for Congress. This week, Israeli President Isaac Herzog met with President Biden to discuss diplomatic relations with the United States amid tensions over Israel's judicial overhaul. On Wednesday, President Herzog delivered a speech before Congress in which he stressed the importance of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons while also addressing antisemitic criticisms of Israel. President Herzog's Washington D.C. visit came on the heels of Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu's push to limit the judicial powers of Israel's Supreme Court judges. Former State Department Spokesperson and Founder of Polaris National Security Morgan Ortagus discusses the significance of President Herzog's trip and weighs in on the Biden administration's management of relations in the Middle East. Republicans' NDAA bill. On Friday, House Republicans passed a sweeping defense bill called the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). NDAAs are annual bills whose primary function is to fund national defense programs, and they typically pass with bipartisan support.  However, controversy over the bill increased after it was heavily amended by conservatives in the House to include a few hot-button social issues like abortion policy; health care for transgender soldiers; and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs. Those amendments resulted in an unusual party-line vote, with the bill passing 219 to 210. Four Democrats voted with Republicans in favor, while four GOP members voted against. The Senate is expected to amend the bill next week. For weeks, we've been hyping the first-ever live Tangle event in Philadelphia on August 3rd. I am thrilled to announce our three guests and the topic: We'll be joined by Mark Joseph Stern of Slate, Henry Olsen of The Washington Post, and Anastasia Boden of the Cato Institute. We live in a Spiritual Crab Pot, will the Freedom Caucus break the hold of The Party of crabs? MSNBC's Mika Brezinsky just complained people are being allowed to see the true Joe Biden. She is angry people get to see Biden's dementia in the full light. Mika is a crab who wants to pull other people into the hot pot. In a spiritual sense, she is in the darkness and is clawing to bury us with her. The spiritually captured crab-bosses at FOX News didn't give their audience a chance to see J6 in full light when they fired Tucker Carlson before he could air his interview with the D.C. police chief who confirmed the FBI had agents all over the J6 crowd. The Freedom Caucus is at least performing the act of bringing light to the utter rot of the FBI, the FISA Court and the spiritually captured crab-bosses of the Pentagon. Even if they don't get any legislation passed, they are bringing the demons into the light, which will eventually send them back to the pit. What does God's Word say? Daniel 4:25-35 25 You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox and be drenched with the dew of heaven. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes. 26 The command to leave the stump of the tree with its roots means that your kingdom will be restored to you when you acknowledge that Heaven rules. 27 Therefore, Your Majesty, be pleased to accept my advice: Renounce your sins by doing what is right, and your wickedness by being kind to the oppressed. It may be that then your prosperity will continue.”The Dream Is Fulfilled28 All this happened to King Nebuchadnezzar. 29 Twelve months later, as the king was walking on the roof of the royal palace of Babylon, 30 he said, “Is not this the great Babylon I have built as the royal residence, by my mighty power and for the glory of my majesty?”31 Even as the words were on his lips, a voice came from heaven, “This is what is decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar: Your royal authority has been taken from you. 32 You will be driven away from people and will live with the wild animals; you will eat grass like the ox. Seven times will pass by for you until you acknowledge that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes.”33 Immediately what had been said about Nebuchadnezzar was fulfilled. He was driven away from people and ate grass like the ox. His body was drenched with the dew of heaven until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle and his nails like the claws of a bird.34 At the end of that time, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven, and my sanity was restored. Then I praised the Most High; I honored and glorified him who lives forever. His dominion is an eternal dominion; his kingdom endures from generation to generation.35 All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: “What have you done?”Episode 954 Links:Biden skips NATO leaders dinner, with officials citing busy scheduleMSNBC's ⁦@morningmika to Biden's staff: “Do a better job b/c you can't have these video images of the president tripping or the president like going to wrong way … b/c his age is going to be factor … It makes me mad.”Capitol Police Chief told Tucker that J6 crowd was loaded w/federal agents. The persistent abuse of Section 702 of FISA underscores the disturbing trend of our federal government being weaponized against its people. The blatant misuse of warrantless surveillance powers targeting Americans' communications should not be accepted or reauthorized. The package included funding for a "Select Subcommittee on Coronavirus Pandemic" designed to determine the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic and whether U.S. tax dollars were spent on dangerous gain of function research experimentation in China. The subcommittee, according to The Washington Post, will also examine the federal government's response to the COVID-19 outbreak.  3:20pm- In a memo, Secretary of State Lloyd Austin announced that the U.S. Department of Defense will no longer mandate the COVID-19 vaccine for U.S. military members. According to The Daily Wire, "House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) forced an end to the program last month when the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the annual defense policy bill, was passed.” 3:30pm- According to a study from the New York University Center for Social Media and Politics, Russian bots had little to no influence over voters in the 2016 Presidential election.  3:35pm- Last week, Governor Phil Murphy signed into law a bill requiring public schools to teach media literacy to all students in kindergarten through 12th grade—making New Jersey the first state to pass legislation combating misinformation academically. But what exactly will the state consider “misinformation”? 3:45pm- In a new National Review article, journalist Nate Hochman warns ChatGPT—a sophisticated chatbot utilizing artificial intelligence—may have been designed with algorithms that push left-leaning political stances.  4:05pm- Breaking News: President Joe Biden mishandled more classified documents than was originally believed. According to Ken Dilanian of MSNBC, a “second batch of classified documents at a different location than the [University of Pennsylvania] Washington office" have been discovered.  4:10pm- Earlier today, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked if Joe Biden may have mishandled additional classified information after concluding his second term as Vice President. Jean-Pierre stated, “this is an ongoing process.” Was she attempting to mislead the White House press? 4:25pm- In a 365 to 65 bipartisan vote in the House of Representatives, Congress approved the establishment of a committee to investigate the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the threat the CCP possesses to the United States, as well as Chinese citizens. However, progressive Congressman Jamaal Bowman bizarrely claimed the committee is xenophobic.  4:40pm- Jimmy Failla—stand-up comedian & Fox News Radio host—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss medicating fat kids, Victoria's Secret going broke after adopting “body positivity” as their business model, and woke M&M's. Zeoli notes that as Vice President, Biden did not have authority to declassify any of this information at the time.  5:15pm- Joe Biden's 21 craziest lies! 5:25pm- While appearing on CNN, former FBI agent Peter Strzok did his best to draw distinctions between Joe Biden's mishandling of classified information and Donald Trump's mishandling which resulted in his home being raided. 5:35pm- On Wednesday, Republicans began voting on two pieces of legislation intended to curb abortion. The House also held a vote to condemn attacks on pro-life facilities. Democrat Congressman Jerry Nadler objected to the bills, oddly claiming that they “endanger some infants.”    5:45pm- While appearing on Fox News, New York Post columnist Miranda Devine accused President Biden of having a “symbiotic relationship” with University of Pennsylvania which subsequently attracted large sums of Chinese money.  6:00pm- On Tuesday, Governor Phil Murphy delivered his annual State of the State address—taking a shot at Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and insisting “woke” won't die in New Jersey. Murphy also bragged about New Jersey's economic growth, but outside sources suggest the state's economy isn't something to boast about.  6:15pm- According to National Review, the House Oversight Committee has requested Twitter executives Vijaya Gadde, Yoel Roth, and James Baker testify regarding their roles coordinating with the federal government to censor speech on the social media platform.  6:25pm- Zeoli is preempted for sports!
