Misty Creek Community Church 3/31/24 Easter Sunrise Sermon: "No Tears Left" Year after year, we celebrate Easter, the day that death was defeated, and our Lord and Savior rose from the dead. If we only focus on that moment, when the stone is rolled away and Jesus is alive, we can miss the impact of the event. Truly, the road to Easter ran through a cemetery. There is the injustice and agony of Jesus' dying on the cross. There are those moments before sunrise when Mary went to the garden to make sure the body was all right. All of these were necessary to get to that moment of joy we know as Easter. Our faith is not insurance against those things that life may bring our way, but it is the assurance of what the last word will be.Without the power of God that Jesus showed, without the cruelty and pain of Calvary, and without what appeared to be the victory of evil with Jesus sealed in a tomb, we would never truly know the power of the good news or what "He is Alive" means for the reversals of all our sorrows and defeats, pain, and despair. Through the darkness of Good Friday, we are called to walk in the sunshine of Easter. Let His love and grace shine in your life today. Do you know Jesus? Do you want his love and grace to shine in your life? You can have a new life today with endless possibilities.Grace and Peace,Stephen

Ariana Grande-Butera (/ˌɑːriˈɑːnə ˈɡrɑːnd/ AR-ee-AH-nə Grahnd; born June 26, 1993) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Her four-octave vocal range has received critical acclaim, and her personal life has been the subject of widespread media attention. She has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including two Grammy Awards, one Brit Award, one Bambi Award, two Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards, nine MTV Video Music Awards, and 27 Guinness World Records.Grande began her music career at age 15 in the 2008 Broadway musical 13. She rose to fame for playing Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious (2010–2013) and Sam & Cat (2013–2014). Grande signed with Republic Records in 2011 after label executives viewed YouTube videos of her covering songs. Her 1950s doo-wop-influenced pop and R&B debut album, Yours Truly (2013), topped the US Billboard 200, while its lead single, "The Way", reached the top ten of the US Billboard Hot 100. Grande's voice and whistle register on the album drew immediate comparisons to Mariah Carey. She continued to explore pop and R&B in her second and third studio albums, My Everything (2014) and Dangerous Woman (2016). My Everything experimented with EDM and achieved global success with its singles "Problem", "Break Free" and "Bang Bang"; Dangerous Woman became her first of four consecutive number-one albums in the UK. Personal struggles influenced her trap-infused fourth and fifth studio albums, Sweetener (2018) and Thank U, Next (2019), both of which were critical and commercial successes. Sweetener won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album, and Thank U, Next broke the record for the largest streaming week for a pop album and was nominated for Album of the Year. The singles "Thank U, Next", "7 Rings", and "Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" made Grande the first solo artist to hold the top three spots on the Hot 100 simultaneously and the first woman to succeed herself at the top of the UK Singles Chart. Her 2020 collaborations "Stuck with U" with Justin Bieber and "Rain on Me" with Lady Gaga helped her break the record for most number-one debuts on the Hot 100, the latter winning the Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Grande's R&B-focused sixth studio album, Positions (2020), and its title track debuted at number-one in the UK and US. In 2021, she had her sixth US number-one single after featuring on the remix of The Weeknd's "Save Your Tears".Often regarded as a pop icon and triple threat entertainer, Grande is one of the world's best-selling music artists; she has sold more than 85 million records globally, and all of her studio albums have been certified platinum or higher. Among her Billboard chart records, she is the first artist and only woman to have five number-one debuts, to chart three number one-debuts in one calendar year, to debut the lead singles from each of her studio albums in the top ten, and to have their first five number one singles debut at top spot. Grande is the most streamed female artist ever, the most streamed female artist on Spotify (also 2010s decade) and Apple Music, the most followed female artist on Spotify, and the most subscribed female artist on YouTube. She has been included on Time's annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world (2016 and 2019) and the Forbes Celebrity 100 (2019–2020). Grande was named Woman of the Year (2018), the greatest pop star of 2019, and the most successful female artist to debut in the 2010s by Billboard. Aside from music, she worked with many charitable organizations and advocates for animal rights, mental health, and gender, racial, and LGBT equality. Grande has a large following on social media; she became the most followed woman on Instagram in 2019, and has over 300 million followers as of 2022. She has also ventured into the cosmetics and fashion industries.

Greetings Trashelor Nation! Sara Armour & Casey Bunker are back with an astro-informed re-cap of last nights episode of The Bachelor! Clayton Echard stars as the boy who cried "I didn't cry." Susie wins the pretty woman date and is serenaded as the lady in red. A sexy therapist hippa violates the cast after the group date. Sarah has no tears left to cry. Genevieve needs therapy (and we need a birth time!) PLUS What is Serene's place in the second American revolution? Will Teddi start a line of lip-kits? All this and more! Chris, Jared, and Kay are back to discuss the latest episode of Clayton and the women's romp through Europe. They breakdown all the dates in Vienna, including an uncomfortable Pretty Woman date with Susie and a totally-not-bizarre set of therapy sessions with the sultriest psychotherapist in the world. They also discuss Sara's crocodile tears (or lack-thereof) that resulted in her unceremonious departure. Then they get into some categories, including Would You Rathers, Cringiest Moments, and the surprisingly unanimous decision of who gets this week's rose.
In our first episode, we talked about being in the breakup. Today, we're talking about the chapter that happens next. Glennon Doyle says it best: first the pain, then the rising. But what exactly is the rising, and what does it feel like to rise after heartbreak? While it IS sexy af, powerful, and badass from the outside, it doesn't always feel that way. There's surprisingly a lot of tears for something that TikTok makes look so seamless. So we're chatting about the nuances of moving on, what to do, and how to be with yourself through it all.If you liked this episode, leave us a review & subscribe/follow!Resources we love:PsychologyToday.com - like Hinge for therapists!211.org - any resource you might need in your area.Crisis Textline: Text 741-741 anytime for 24/7, free, confidential counseling when you are in crisis (whatever feels like a crisis to you).Connect With Us:Instagram: @totally.mentalWebsite: totallymentalpod.comEmail: totallymentalblog@gmail.com

Ariana Grande can't be stopped. A singer and actress who has given you more chart topping smashes than pretty much any artist working today, it's no wonder her name has dominated entertainment headlines. With songs like Bang Bang, Side to Side, Love Me Harder, No Tears Left to Cry, Break Free and Thank U Next and recently released 7 Rings enjoying residencies on the charts, you simply can't go anywhere without seeing and hearing her name

Sinning against God should be as upsetting as when someone sins against us. Pastor Nate contrasts Ariana Grande's song "No Tears Left to Cry" with King David's Psalm 6. Both are expressions of sorrow; one of the sorrow involving a sin committed against Grande & concert goers when one of her concerts was targeted in 2017, one involving a sin committed against God by King David when he committed adultery. The key is that although one seems greater than the other, all sin is equal in God's eyes. Although a sin against God isn't always as publicly recognized, it serves to distance the one committing it from God in equal measure to the one committing sin against another man.

High school pop music fan Annie Heintz joins Jim, Peg and John in a free-wheeling discussion founded on five songs by five contemporary artists receiving a lot of streaming time. Alone by Halsey, Barcelona by Ed Sheehan, Friends by Anne-Marie, No Tears Left to Cry by Ariana Grande and In My Blood by Shawn Mendes. The tri-generational conversation includes Gen X, Gen Z and the Baby Boom, leaving only Millennials excluded and set for a future pod. We are looking for a patron.
