The problems keep on coming for Peloton (PTON) as the stock traded as low as $23.25 today. That's a decline of more than 20% just for the day and compares to the company's all time high of close to $170 back in January of last year and is also lower than the IPO price of $29. In terms of market cap Has competition got the best of Netflix? In trading Friday morning, the stock was down over 20% trading under $400 well off the $700 high. I know that some people were disappointed that the Build Back Better plan did not go through. I was not one of them because I feel with our debt at $29 trillion that is enough. One thing people don't think about is if we added another couple trillion dollars to the debt as interest rates go up the government has to pay more in interest.

The company reported $1.09EPS vs a 1.12est but also announced that comparable store sales fell 13.2% which was more than expected.- HP Inc (HPW) down almost 5.0% pre-market in spite of an earnings beat. The company reported $1.00EPS vs a $0.84est but rev came in lower than expected. - Dell (DELL) down almost 2.0% pre-market after an earnings beat.- Workday (WDAY) reported $1.23EPS and better rev. Subscription rev was also up 23% from a year ago and shares are up 7.0% pre-market.- Hibbett Sports (HIBB) up 6% pre-market after doubling its earnings last quarter ($2.86EPS vs $1.44est).- Is Tesla (TSLA) going to solve Texas' energy problem? I am a big advocate that Peloton (PTON) needs a second act, says James Hardiman of Wedbush Securities. He thinks the new treadmill can be that, but discusses the headwinds including the safety recalls. He says they will need to hit and exceed numbers during the remaining three quarters of the year. Wedbush cuts price target to $107 from $115 with a neutral rating but adds that Peloton is still a fantastic growth company.

Pfizer (PFE) is off 3.1% premarket on the news, BioNTech (BNTX) declined 4.3% (following a 3.4% drop in the previous session), while Moderna (MRNA) fell another 2.4% (after tumbling 6.2% on Wednesday).The U.S. is now averaging about 2.3M shots per day, which is down 32% from the peak last month. There are now incentives to get the vaccine:. Krispy Kreme is giving away free doughnuts to anyone who presents a vaccination certificate,.
