We're taking you from the streets of Dallas all the way to the mountains of Kovir in our last side quest of the season. Newly returned from a trip to Texas, we discuss why we were there (it involves a bit of Witcher and a whole lot of whiskey) before we tear into this year's Witcher-less Tudum. After that, we enter the world of gaming with a ten-year tribute to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and why even now we just can't say no to Cerys. Finally, we wrap things up with a deep dive into the gorgeous new Witcher 4 tech demo in which we savor the breathtaking graphics as well as Ciri's newfound sassiness. It's a fun, free flowing episode that unlike a certain recent streaming live event, is filled to the brim with Witcher goodness! Hold music: "Local Forecast - Slower" by Kevin MacLeod

It's the reunion we've all been waiting for since they connected and cried during the ‘Wicked' press tour. Now, with her brand new album ‘I Forgive You' finally available to download and stream, Em reunites with one of her personal heroes, the one and only Cynthia Erivo. Together they revisit the tears that somehow had the whole world crying (or weirdly in some cases seething with anger). There's also chat about Cynthia's recent Coachella performance, the elite level of her attire on the day and why the ‘Waiting to Exhale' soundtrack is the best movie soundtrack EVER! Then it's on to reviewing and discussing her new album ‘I Forgive You', which Em has had an advance copy of that she's been playing on repeat. Naturally Em's gone deep in her analysis and review of it, MUCH to Cynthia's utter joy, so prepare to discover layers to the album you might have missed, and hear about the inspiration and difficulty of writing and recording it. Finally Em also manages to squeeze in a quick chat about Cynthia hosting the upcoming Tony Awards and also how not ready she is to witness Cynthia and Ariana Grande take on ‘For Good' in Wicked 2, with Cynthia offering some VERY useful advice about seeing the movie. Then in our Sealed Section, on our premium service Emsolation Extra, Em and her bestie Michael talk baby goats, Lady Gaga's Tudum appearance, new season ‘Wednesday' and ‘Hacks', plus they dive into the controversy over Patti Lupone's latest interview. You can sign up and listen for $1.87 a week, or watch the full video via the Supercast website for $2.50 a week at emsolation.supercast.com

Welcome to Multiverse News, Your source for Information about all your favorite fictional universes. In a fairly shocking move, Marvel Studios will not have one of its classic Hall H presentations at San Diego Comic Con this year. Due to Avengers: Doomsday filming, the studio is opting not to pause production to fly actors to California. Marvel will still have panels and events throughout SDCC, just not the spectacle of Hall H, which has become a mainstay for the MCU particularly. This news is coupled with a recent appearance from the cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps at the CCPX promotional fan event in Mexico City last weekend, as well as buzz surrounding a supposed test screening for the fast approaching filmAt the TUDUM fan event this weekend, Netflix finally revealed the final season of Stranger Things will air in three parts late this year. The first will premiere November 26, followed by part two on Christmas and the series finale on New Year's Eve .Netflix also unveiled trailers for two of its anticipated upcoming films, Frankenstein - directed by Guillermo del Toro - and Knives Out 3: Wake Up Dead Man - directed by Rian Johnson. The films premiere in November and December, respectively, and both feature star-studded casts - something we've come to expect from Johnson's Knives Out films and what makes sense for a filmmaker as storied as del Toro. Frankenstein features Oscar Isaac in the titular role, as well as Jacob Elordi as the Monster, plus Mia Goth, and Christoph Waltz. Knives Out 3 is helmed once again by Daniel Craig as Benoit Blanc, and has a list of A-lister stars including Jeremy Renner and Kerry Washington. The second full summer box office weekend was favorable, with Disney's live action Lilo & Stitch up 51 percent from the prior week, and Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning climbing up 55 percent. Sony's Karate Kid Legends opened to a $20 million domestic weekend as well. Seems like it's all sequels all the time right now for the summer box office. If insider Jeff Schneider's latest scoop is to be believed, Laura Linney has joined the cast of HBO's Lanterns series in an undisclosed role.HBO Max has renewed Emmy award winning series Hacks for a fifth season, which will make the series the longest-running live-action show in HBO Max's history. The highly-anticipated Elden Ring movie at A24 helmed by Alex Garland may be zeroing on a familiar face to lead the epic adaptation. Sources tell Deadline the director is in talks with Kit Connor, who recently appeared in his war pic Warfare, to star in the adaptation.Chris Hemsworth set Marvel twitter ablaze last week after posting a heartfelt message to MCU fans, which many took as a suggestion that Thor would not make it through Avengers: Doomsday. The post read: "Playing Thor has been one of the greatest honors of my life. For the last 15 years I've held Mjolnir and then Stormbreaker as the God of Thunder, but what made it truly special… was sharing it with all of you. Your passion, your cheers, and your love for this character have meant everything to me. Thank you for making my journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe unforgettable. Next up, Doomsday!"Electronic Arts is canceling its planned Black Panther game and shutting down developer Cliffhanger Games according to IGN.Scott Caan and Elizabeth Debicki have been cast in David Fincher's sequel to Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and will be joining Brad Pitt in the feature that is being made by Netflix.Oscar nominee and Grammy winner Ariana Grande has joined the cast of the next installment in the Meet the Parents franchise, which will hit theaters on November 25, 2026.

It's official, we can now listen to the original Taylor Swift songs. Taylor bought back all of her masters and now owns every piece of her work. Miley Cyrus released her new album and I'm obsessed. Hailey Bieber has sold her skincare company and she sold it for a lot of money. $1 Billion to be exact. She is officially richer than her pop star husband, Justin Bieber, who clearly is not very nice to her. She is also on the cover of Vogue magazine, which we also found out that Justin told her would never happen. JK Rowling has unfortunately reached billionaire status again. Too bad that she can't use it to buy a compassionate heart. Netflix held their Tudum event and it was star studded to say the least. They announced the release dates for Stranger Things, Wednesday and Outer Banks. Plus a little known artist name Lady Gaga performed. Meg Thee Stallion has a new line of swimwear at Walmart and I will say the designs are great and it's very affordable. While you're at Walmart make sure to stop by and buy some of Selena Gomez's Horchata Oreos. And lastly, a report came out that said the new Avengers movie will need to make $2 billion just to break even. Thanks for listening!
Tony Oliver is a Puerto Rican voice actor and voice director. He is best known for voicing Rick Hunter from Robotech, Lancer from Fate/stay night, and Arsène Lupin IIIfrom Lupin the Third. He helped produce the live action shows Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and VR TroopersStranger ThingsAfter a long wait in between seasons, fans finally get a glimpse at what's to come, and the stakes have never been higher. After the cliffhanger Season 4 finale, which had the Upside Down slipping into Hawkins, the final season will be bigger than anything the show has done before. Stranger Things just officially unveiled the first trailer at Netflix's Tudum 2025 event, which can be watched below, also announcing the release date this fall and winter.Stranger Things Season 5 premieres on Nov. 26 for Volume 1, with Volume 2 following shortly on Christmas, and the finale released on New Year'sThe Last of USDespite Season 1's popularity, HBO did not prepare for a quick turnaround for Season 3. The season was confirmed on April 9, 2025, just four days before the sophomore season's April 13 release date, but that early renewal still left little time for the writing and filming process. Production has not yet begun for Season 3, as the seasons were not filmed back-to-back, despite their initial success. The initial expectation was that filming would begin in the summer; however, it will likely be a lengthy production process, and there will be ample post-production work to ensure that the visual effects are of the highest quality. If the schedule follows the same path as season 2, it will be years before Abby and Ellie return to the small screen. Season 2 was announced on January 27, 2023, and production began on February 12, 2024. The year-long delay was substantial, but it was largely due to the industry-wide SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes of 2023. Still, even after filming began in earnest, it took months to conclude, as production only officially ended in August. If Season 3 follows a similar path, filming would not end until December 2025 or early 2026, and that is only if the cast arrives on set in Summer 2025. Isabela Merced (Dina) told Variety that the season may not begin production until 2026. Given that new piece of information, The Last of Us Season 3 is unlikely to debut until late 2026 or even 2027.Walt always hated Goofy and he would've deep-sixed Goofy a long time ago if the studio didn't need to make those movies to give ‘make work' to so many of the animators. Boy, he hated Goofy.Keeping this in mind, it's easy to suggest that Walt Disney felt that Goofy was bringing down the tone of the studio. While his stupidity was entertaining to young audiences, it didn't highlight the real work that was going on in the company. But as the company continued to expand and hire more animators, it seemed that Walt needed to give them something to do while their superiors were working on the money-making projects. Overall, while fans will never truly know how Walt Disney felt about Goofy, Gaber's claims about the character offering "make-work" do fit the narrative.
This week, the Bandwagon is stripped down again as the dynamic duo of Dave and Tunney guide you through the week around the Nerdosphere. Netflix had its annual fan event and mega-preview party, Tudum. The event has become notorious for dumping a slew of trailers for almost all of Netflix's upcoming projects for the next 9-12 months. This year was no exception, and we received trailers for eagerly anticipated projects like Frankenstein, Squid Game Season 3, Happy Gilmore 2, and the long-awaited announcement about Stranger Things Season 5, along with the release dates for the separate volumes of the final season. Amazon Prime, not wanting to be left out, dropped a trailer for Season 2 of Gen V. The guys then examine the significant drop in viewers for the season finale of The Last of Us and question whether the series could be at risk of cancellation. This fate befell another popular franchise as The Wheel of Time was canceled by Prime. Are there hidden similarities between the two shows that should concern fans of HBO Max's most popular series of all time? As if HBO Max didn't have enough problems, we've been informed that the three lead roles for the Harry Potter reboot have been cast. Do these kids stand a chance, or will they be crushed by the inevitable comparison to the original three actors from the movie franchise? In much better news, though, DC and Marvel Comics are on the verge of releasing the first crossover event in over 20 years. With the two comics' super-powers working together, Dave and Tunney ponder what other crossovers they might want to see. @AttitudeAgg@WrestlngRealist@itsReyCash@PCTunney@itsmedpp@ViolentAesop@TheMindlessPod@therealcplatt@ChairshotMedia@BandwagonNerdsPROWRESTLINGTEES.COM/TheChairshot - Makes a GREAT GIFT!!!About Bandwagon NerdsJoin Patrick O'Dowd, David Ungar, PC Tunney, Rey Cash, and DPP as they keep everyone up on all things nerd and maybe add some new nerds along the way.
