Yesterday, 4BC Drive interviewed a photographer and conservationist who revealed the environmental impact of wind farm construction sites. Gary Hardgrave said on 4BC Drive, "Trees being torn down, torn off the tops of mountains and rocks being thrust and dirt being thrust down into creeks. Wind turbines are replacing them. And it was all to produce just half a per cent of Queensland's energy need." "We need to stop this rush to renewables because it's ruining not only our economy because it's heavily subsidised, but it's also losing our lifestyle." "It's losing our assets. We're robbing it from the future for our kids," Gary continued.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Send Katie a Text Message!! You've likely seen this scenario play out—a homeowner has an idea for their remodel, the GC calls it stupid, and while he has a point, the homeowner's feelings are hurt and no one's offered a viable solution. That is precisely where we come in. As interior designers, we are uniquely able to translate our clients' ideas to the construction crew who can bring it to life. But there's even more that's at play when you're a female designer on the construction site. Renée Biery joins me for a conversation about navigating being the only woman on a construction site. She's a construction expert who regularly shares her knowledge with interior designers. In today's episode, Renée shares misconceptions around managing construction projects, the best approach to earn respect on a job site as a woman, and how client retention rates are impacted by project management. As always, there's even more in the Coaching Corner for you!Grab all the links and resources mentioned in this episode at https://successbydesign.coach/podcast/b/the-only-woman-on-a-construction-site
In previous years I had done this STORYTIME's Part 1 & Part 2 (and then deleted them), however, this is the first time I give you the conclusion of this sexually explicit adventure. We pick up right where we left off in Part 2.
Picking up where we left off in the last episode, I tell you what happened once I left my construction job that fateful day when I followed one of my construction buddies home. **This is a very descriptive erotic story. Please be forewarned. **
Thanks for tuning in to this week's episode of Foundations For Success. This week we have all things media expert and business owner, Lucy Jones. The return of a much requested STORYTIME from a number of years ago, prior to the big 'purge' of sexual content, that I have always regretted. This STORYTIME is from when I was just 19 years old and had taken a part-time job in construction. It tells of a little adventure that I got involved in during after hours drinking with a couple of the guys who were in their early 20's. This is Part 1 or a 3-part story. Part 2 will be on the air next week, with the brand-new Part 3 coming out a couple of weeks after that. I hope you enjoy the show. ** Please note that there is some sexual content in this story, so steer clear of it if you are offended by descriptive guy-on-guy sex **

Reunited and driven by purpose, the party began laying the groundwork for their next steps. With llofty goals to expose the truth behind the Bishop's role in the Raelund Regicide, they set their sights on the Sacred Order. Finavir and Vaeolin sought out Kristoph Ironbound, a once ally to the current Finavir. The meeting with Kristoph was hampered by the undesired presence of other members of the cultish group. And with some confusion about Finavir's presence outside the Temple, Kristoph's trust seemed strained. With wary words, Kristoph left the party with a cryptic message that hinted to meeting him in the graveyard. But when the party arrived, no man was to be found; only a note covered in the wax drippings of candlelight snuffed out. And in the back of Finavir's mind, something changed. But we will have to see how the threads of time, when plucked, resonate.Support Us:Please consider contributing to the production of the podcast.Patreon: https://patreon.com/missingrollplayerfoundAbout:The Gate Chronicles (aka TGC) is an actual play RPG run in the Pathfinder RPG system. Key strategies of the benefits of forming a green team, promoting ride-sharing, enforcing no-idling policies, and using electric vehicles on construction sites. The importance of green materials, prefabrication, temporary systems like LED lighting and solar power, and technologies such as drones Attention was given to reducing embodied carbon and future green construction trends, followed by a Q&A session. Discussion on the importance of LEED credentials and the growth of the green building movement. Discussion on the importance of certifications for corporate sustainability and green financing. Introduction to the top ten ways to green a construction site. The role of technology in construction, including drones and virtual meetings. the evolution of green materials and the importance of EPDs and HPDs Examples of innovative materials and construction methods being used in the industry to reduce waste. “You're going to start to see a lot of designs that are going to shift toward lower embodied carbon materials. A lot of our clients are getting savvier and asking those questions. I think the other, the pie chart that maybe you don't have, Charlie, in the deck is the fact that 49% of the embodied carbon is in the building the day that the contractor hands over the keys to the client. So half of the lifetime amount of carbon is in the building before anybody even occupies it. There's a big opportunity there in order to really ratchet those numbers.” -J Show Resource and Information Connect with Charlie Cichetti and GBES GBES is excited our membership community is growing. On today's show we are talking about how to secure a construction site. In any construction site there is a trade-off between efficiency and security. When we are talking about security, there are three main aspects we are most concerned with. The first is for the safety of people who are prone to wandering onto the site outside of construction hours. The second relates to loss of valuable equipment and materials. The third layer is protecting the environment. ------------ **Real Estate Espresso Podcast:** Spotify: [The Real Estate Espresso Podcast](https://open.spotify.com/show/3GvtwRmTq4r3es8cbw8jW0?si=c75ea506a6694ef1) iTunes: [The Real Estate Espresso Podcast](https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/the-real-estate-espresso-podcast/id1340482613) Website: [www.victorjm.com](http://www.victorjm.com) LinkedIn: [Victor Menasce](http://www.linkedin.com/in/vmenasce) YouTube: [The Real Estate Espresso Podcast](http://www.youtube.com/@victorjmenasce6734) Facebook: [www.facebook.com/realestateespresso](http://www.facebook.com/realestateespresso) Email: [podcast@victorjm.com](mailto:podcast@victorjm.com) **Y Street Capital:** Website: [www.ystreetcapital.com](http://www.ystreetcapital.com) Facebook: [www.facebook.com/YStreetCapital](https://www.facebook.com/YStreetCapital) Instagram: [@ystreetcapital](http://www.instagram.com/ystreetcapital)
