Kasoa Ofaakor District Police Command has apprehended six young men in connection with the alleged assault of two Junior High School (JHS) students at Kasoa Gada, in the Awutu Senya East Municipality of the Central Region. According to police reports, the victims, along with two of the suspects, were classmates who had attended an interschool soccer competition at Kasoa Opeikuma. On their way back to Kasoa Gada, seven suspects allegedly confronted the students on the road, forcing them into a nearby bush where one of the students was assaulted. Three suspects remain at large

Fourteen-year-old Jesse Stone had admitted to sexually assaulting a 91-year-old woman who lived in his neighborhood and considered him a friend. The woman called 911 last June from her home in Reddick, Florida and said a man beat her and sexually assaulted her in her bed.
