We are praying hard every single day for an answer or a miracle. Which feels like what we need at this point. Billy recently got to see some of his family for the first time in 2+ years, it was a short 1 hour visit, both visitors and inmates had to be masked (prison staff did not), 4+ feet away from each other and only allowed 2 quick hugs, so with DC being 18+ hours from majority of his kids, visiting has been difficult and expensive. We are so grateful for “Operation Love Wins”, some family will be able to visit him here soon, thanks to this amazing program. To all the other j6 family and friends, we see you, we hear you, we are you. We pray your family becomes whole again just as hard as we pray for our family to be complete again. To every supporter, God bless you. Billy couldn't have been able to eat (since he survives off of 99% commissary, due to the “meals” being pretty much uneatable), talk to his family (we wait all week to hear from him and it's the best part of our week), and simply survive in the gulag. Jake Lang is a political prisoner.  He one of the January 6th Patriots who believes Trump won and Biden stole the election.  Our government is persecuting him for his love of Trump and this country.  Though he is accused of attacking the Capitol Police, he insists he was defending those around him from being harmed. J6 Detainees Tortured No Bond Hearing After Nearly 2 Years The stories coming out of the DC Gulag are nothing short of horrific.  January 6th prisoners are literally being tortured and subjected to cruel and unusual punishment.  Their Constitutional Rights are being violated. Take the case of Jonathan Mellis.  For ten seconds he engaged with a capitol police officer who was beating the now deceased Rosanne Boyland.  The officer admits she didn't suffer any injuries during the incident (yet Boyland died).  Now, John Mellis, with no criminal record, a man who didn't even go inside the Capitol, has been sitting in a DC jail for almost two years.  He has not even been given a bond hearing. Remember the Waukesha Parade Plower.  That man, who killed 6 and injured 60 had a bond hearing in 48 hours.  Mellis has never had one and has spent weeks in solitary confinement.  It is a place inmates call "the hole." On this anniversary of January 6th it is time we call attention to persecution of these political prisoners.  Punishment is one thing.  Serving two years for doing something most people don't spend a day in jail for is just unfair and un-american.  My goal is to get them help.
