Charles Frank Bolden Jr. is a retired US Marine Corps Major General and former NASA astronaut. After flying on four space shuttle missions—STS-61-C, STS-31, STS-45, and STS-60—Charlie was appointed by former President, Barack Obama, to serve as the 12th Administrator of NASA from 2009 to 2017, making him the first African American to head the agency permanently. Today, Charlie is the Founder and CEO Emeritus of the Charles F. Bolden Group, a consortium of accomplished leaders founded in 2017 to foster international collaboration in making life better for all humanity. Charlie joins me today to discuss the qualities aspiring astronauts need to cultivate to be chosen for modern space programs. You'll hear about his career at NASA and the characteristics he thinks made him a NASA astronaut. He explores how the dawn of the new space age may change selection preferences for would-be astronauts. You'll also learn the value of being a team player and why being a jack-of-all-trades is essential to becoming an astronaut of today and tomorrow. “You will be technicians, scientists, and researchers all in one—and that's the kind of people we're going to be looking for.” - Charlie Bolden This week on Kathy Sullivan Explores: ● Qualities and characteristics NASA looked for in astronaut candidates in the 1980s● Civil rights in the 1980s and the psychological implications of growing up in the segregated South● Why being a team player is a high-value trait for NASA astronauts● Diversity as a trait of a high-performing organization● Why being a good fighter pilot doesn't necessarily mean being a great astronaut● The lack of diversity in NASA's Apollo era and how astronaut selection preferences have changed since● How the dawn of commercial spaceflight is changing preferences for would-be astronauts● How commercial spacecraft may change the employment prospects of future astronauts● The kind of crew NASA may seek for the Artemis program and beyond● Jessica Watkins, Kate Rubins, Peggy Whitson, and why researchers may be the astronauts of the future● Ridley Scott's The Martian and what it takes to be a modern-day astronaut Resources Mentioned:● Book: Riding Rockets: The Outrageous Tales of a Space Shuttle Astronaut by Mike Mullane Our Favorite Quotes:● “A great test pilot isn't necessarily going to be a great astronaut; a great test pilot with a big ego is going to be a lousy astronaut.” - Charlie Bolden● “The astronauts of today and tomorrow are not going to have the opportunity to train over and over again on something because they'll find that every day is something new.” - Charlie BoldenConnect with Charlie Bolden:• Inter Astra•

What is it about Colorado?Coloradans have had a major impact across every aspect of aviation and space exploration. Our state produced the first American flying ace, the first civilian helicopter ambulance service, and the first female airline pilot. We've grown astronauts and executives, entrepreneurs and visionaries, and the aerospace industry has brought hundreds of thousands of jobs and hundreds of billions of dollars into our state's economy. In fact, Colorado has the nation's second largest aerospace economy, and aviation is the fastest-growing industry segment in the Denver area. Aerospace research and technology developed in Colorado's schools and labs is out there exploring other planets—and a lot of it finds its way into products you use every day. Key Takeaways: Colorado has the largest number of aerospace jobs in the nation per capita, and aerospace being a major economic driver in Colorado, and CO continues to establish itself as a leader in aerospace - the Aerospace Frontier. Emily Howell Warner, became the first female pilot for a scheduled US airline in 1973, and the first female airline captain in 1976. “Jepp” Jeppesen's handwritten notes in a ten-cent notebook grew into the aeronautical charting industry. Scott Carpenter was the first person ever to eat solid food in space and the second American to orbit the Earth. Jessica Watkins is a Colorado astronaut and is the first Black woman to work on the International Space Station. Dr. Serena Aunon-Chancellor, daughter of a Cuban immigrant, became an engineer, a medical doctor, and an astronaut who spent more than six months in space. The exhibit focuses on people and their stories, but visitors will see some really cool artifacts to illustrate those stories, including some that we've never put on display before, so even if you've been to the museum, you'll see something new. We begin today with a conversation with astronauts Jessica Watkins, and Kjell Lindgren, two members of the Space X Crew 4 that rocketed to the International Space Station on April 27 aboard the Space X Falcon/Dragon capsule. Along with Robert Hines and Samantha Cristoforetti, an astronaut from the European Space Agency, they are now nearly three months into what is expected to be a five to six month expedition. Dr. Watkins has made history as the first African American woman to go to the ISS. She has been chosen as one of the astronauts who will be on NASA's next big project: Artemis, which will return humans to the moon. Tom spoke with Dr. Watkins and Dr. Lindgren Monday morning, via Skype. Here's that conversation. This event was the launch of Jessica Watkins' latest book 'Creating Consent in an Illiberal Order: Policing Disputes in Jordan' published by Cambridge University Press. Middle Eastern police forces have a reputation for carrying out repression and surveillance on behalf of authoritarian regimes, despite frequently under enforcing the law. But what is their role in co-creating and sustaining social order? In this book, Jessica Watkins focuses on the development of the Jordanian police institution to demonstrate that rather than being primarily concerned with law enforcement, the police are first and foremost concerned with order. In Jordan, social order combines the influence of longstanding tribal practices with regime efforts to promote neoliberal economic policies alongside a sense of civic duty amongst citizens. Rather than focusing on the 'high policing' of offences deemed to threaten state security, Watkins explores the 'low policing' of interpersonal disputes including assault, theft, murder, traffic accidents, and domestic abuse to shed light on the varied strategies of power deployed by the police alongside other societal actors to procure hegemonic 'consent'. Jessica Watkins is an analyst at the International, Impartial and Independent Mechanism, which assists in the investigation of serious crimes committed in Syria. She is a visiting research fellow at the LSE Middle East Centre and a Research Associate at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA). Between 2017 and 2021 Jessica was a postdoctoral research officer on LSE's Conflict Research Programme focusing on regional and domestic drivers of conflict and peace in Iraq and Syria. Jessica has a BA from Cambridge University in Arabic and French, a Masters in International Relations from the War Studies Department, King's College London, and a PhD on civil policing in Jordan, also from the War Studies Department. Yazan Doughan is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Anthropology at the London School of Economics. Yazan is an anthropologist whose work straddles the linguistic and socio-cultural branches of the discipline, with close engagements with social and legal theory, conceptual and social history, and moral philosophy. His work blends ethnography, genealogy, and history to shed light on the question of social justice in contemporary postcolonial contexts, with Jordan as a primary field site. Yazan's current research and book project takes the Arab Spring protests in Jordan as an ethnographic entry point to think the postcolonial political present, and the paradoxical status of ‘the rule law' in it – both as the mark of post-Cold War emancipatory projects for social justice, and the condition of possibility for various kinds of injustices. Milli Lake is an Associate Professor of International Security at the London School of Economics' Department of International Relations. Her expertise lies in political violence, institutions, law, poverty, and gender. She co-directs the Women's Rights After War project, a project that falls under LSE's Gender Justice and Security HUB, and is jointly funded by the National Science Foundation and the UKRI Global Challenges Research Fund. Her 2018 book Strong NGOs and Weak States: Pursuing Gender Justice in the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Africa was published by Cambridge University Press. Milli has worked as a consultant with organisations including USAID, The World Bank, Save the Children, the International Rescue Committee, Berkeley School of Law and the International Law and Policy Institute. She regularly provides expert testimony in asylum cases and has written extensively on the ethics and practicalities of field research in violence-affected settings.

It's February 19, 2022. Temba 'kidifies' headlines about the African American community. She teaches us about a new history of black filmmaking, how people accused as Malcolm X's assassins have been found innocent, how Jessica Watkins will be the first black woman to join the International Space Station, and how one town in Tennessee deals with Confederate monuments in a different way.
It's Black History Month, but of course folks are doing the most, and we don't say that in a positive light. We kick off the episode with a discussion about Awkwafina and her use of blaccent, which has been a major topic surrounding her career as both an artist and actor. On a much better note: Snoop Dogg buys Death Row Records, Jessica Watkins is getting ready to be the first Black Woman to spend months in space, and Chris lists her favorite Black-owned businesses. Big Rob's back and as usual, he's acting a fool the moment we start recording (we missed him). As always we're with the shenanigans. You know how we give it up! Jim Florentine and Jimmy Pardo share their run-ins with the law while being white. Joe DeRosa tries to figure out the point of his life, Bianca Brady explains how comedians are the new truth-telling philosophers, and Shalewa Sharpe tells us what her exes would say are her personal pros and cons. (Pro: she let them hit it raw.) The gang also discusses the nuances of ancestry, and Dylan Adler blesses us with his musical charms.

On this episode of the podcast we have stand-up comedian Jessica Watkins. Jessica self-produced the documentary film SPECIALish (available now on VOD) about her experience walking across America performing stand-up gigs along the way. It won Best Film at Broad Humor Festival and at New Filmmakers Festival NYC. I loved the film! It packs a powerful punch -- hilarious, personal, and moving. In 2014 comedian Jessica Watkins walked across America as a shtick to get noticed. (You have to have a shtick as a comedian to get a Netflix special, duh.) What Jessica didn't know was that heading out on her own to walk across the U.S. , meeting strangers and relying on gut would completely change her life. We spoke with Jessica about her comedy, her legendary mom, dumb DJ questions, making a documentary, and more in this episode as her film about her 8 month trip, SPECIALish debuts tomorrow on all streaming and on-demand services. SPECIALish is just the kind of story we need as we emerge out of the pandemic and sheltering in place. There's so much humor and truth as the film unfolds that it's 100% relatable. We loved the film and love Jessica's stand-up. Far before the pandemic ever began or was even a whisper of a thing, Jessica Watkins took it upon to herself to simultaneously make a stand-up comedy special and walk across America. She did indeed accomplish both, but it was not at all what she expected, which is a very timely experience to have as we've all had to go through the intense journey of the COVID-19 pandemic.Watkins' captured her entire experience in a documentary called SPECIALish, a stunningly beautiful portrait and meditation on having purpose and drive in comedy, art, and life. After finishing the journey in 2014, the doc has been set for release on May 11th and, of course, TCB's Jake Kroeger talks to Jessica all about that especially in relation to that journey in 2014 and how things have been comparatively in the terrifying specter of 2020/2021. Also, "hot" takes on Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumulo's Cinderella evil stepsisters movie in the works, potential anti-trust case for LiveNation/Ticketmaster, and Seth Rogen's silent action comedy passion project.Follow Jessica at @ajessicawatkins on IG and Twitter and look out for SPECIALish on streaming platforms on May 11th.The Comedy Bureau @thecomedybureau across platforms and please, please support TCB via GoFundMe, Patreon, or on Venmo (@jakekroeger).Produced by Jake KroegerMusic by Brian GranilloArtwork by Andrew Delman and KT

Keri begins with an intricate defense of her beloved Dolly Parton, whom the left is actively fantasizing about cancelling just as soon as they can come up with a convincing "reason." At Keri's behest, a woefully Parton-ignorant Carter promises to visit the Dolly Parton something-or-other "the next time he's in Tennessee." He then unleashes a rant that juxtaposes the left's widespread veneration of Communist goons like Che Guevara with their hypersensitive pearl-clutching over the existence of a Confederate flag. Next, the two contrast an Infowars article about the Texas power crisis with a Politifact article excoriating it, comparing them both with the Department of Energy Executive Order on which they are based. They then turn to the distasteful topic of Andrew Cuomo, his ironic Emmy Award, his potentially disastrous COVID rules concerning nursing homes, and the recent sexual harassment allegations against him. Carter then briefly defends "Robber Barons" by referring to them as "Captains of Industry," and the two end by noting how suspiciously silent the mainstream media has been regarding the fact that Oath Keeper Jessica Watkins, who is currently facing charges in the January 6th "mostly peaceful" protest at the capitol, is a member of the normally sacred "trans community." Good Morning, Colorado, and welcome to the Daily Sun-Up. It’s Tuesday December 22nd, and we’re feeling lucky to start the day with you. Join us daily for an in-depth look at one of our top stories. Today - new Colorado’s farmers are YouTube-taught, social justice-minded and preaching the gospel of microgreens. Before we begin, let’s take a look at what happened on this day in Colorado history - adapted from Derek R Everett’s book “Colorado Day by Day”: Today, we take you back to December 22nd, 1909 when officials in Colorado Springs approved an ordinance to accept a bequest from Charles E Perkins, a director of the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad. He left the city 480 acres known for decades as the Garden of Gods. Now, our feature story. The Emerald Gardens farm has a rustic, pioneering feel, which seems appropriate considering its founders, 33-year-old Dave Demerling and 32-year-old Roberto Meza, began their farming careers just a few years ago by watching YouTube videos. Now, the passive solar greenhouse they constructed on land bought just two years ago has them on the cusp of profitability, producing a variety of microgreens, shoots of herbs and vegetables harvested in their very early development, when flavor and nutrients run high. And their approach has shined a new light on the face of the American farmer: entrepreneur guided by social justice. That was founder Dave Demerling. Though Demerling and Meza initially marketed their product primarily to fine restaurants that use them in salads and garnishes, they have broadened their outreach, preaching the virtues of microgreens for everything from delicious snacks to nutritious smoothies, all while adding to a statewide desire to bolster local food sources. They’ve also developed a fan base in some grocery stores, and soon will be delivering to the Boulder Valley School District and other institutional customers like hospitals. As first-generation farmers, they’re also breaking new ground. High-school buddies in Canton, Ohio, they migrated to opposite coasts for college before reuniting and realizing their visions had shifted. The fulfillment they sought turned out to be rooted in agriculture. Here’s cofounder Roberto Meza talking about their motivation for what they do: Their process unfolds in a 3,000 square-foot building where passive solar design and a geothermal system that cycles air through underground tubes maintain the temperature around an optimal 75 degrees during cold weather. A swamp cooler, powered by solar panels, keeps the microgreens comfortable on hot days. Trays of plants grow on up to five levels of metal shelving, in long rows connected to water tubes that soak the jute — or another plant-based fiber — where seeds have been planted. And right now, their farming operation takes up just a small fraction of the space in the grow house. And the grow house, even with the auxiliary buildings where they prepare their products for sale, takes up just a small chunk of their 35 acres. So they’ve invited some friends — surprisingly, more old high-school buddies who also found their way to Colorado — to launch a hemp operation on the land. And they hope to encourage other ag-minded people who share their vision of more equitable food distribution to join them on the acreage. For Meza and Demerling, people have always been a key ingredient. That’s why they regularly engage the public at farmer’s markets and food co-ops to share the gospel of fresh and local - believing that everybody should know where their food comes from. Thanks for listening. Before we go here are a few stories you should know about today: The Colorado legislature will delay its full return next year for at least a month because of the prevalence of coronavirus in the state. Colorado prisons face a staffing crisis as scores of guards and inmates alike catch the coronavirus Two Colorado residents were placed on a list of astronauts that could soon travel to the moon. NASA Astronauts Matthew Dominick of Wheat Ridge and Jessica Watkins of Lafayette were among 18 astronauts selected to the Artemis Program. Colorado plans to ramp up messaging after avalanches kill three experienced skiers in just two days. For more information on all of these stories, visit our website, www.coloradosun.com. This event was a discussion around Wolfram Lacher's latest book Libya's Fragmentation: Structure and Process in Violent Conflict. After the overthrow of the Qadhafi regime in 2011, Libya witnessed a dramatic breakdown of centralized power. Countless local factions carved up the country into a patchwork of spheres of influence. Only the leader of one armed coalition, Khalifa Haftar, managed to overcome competitors and centralize authority over eastern Libya. But his attempt to seize power in the capital Tripoli failed due to tenacious resistance from dozens of armed groups in western Libya, and was ultimately defeated by Turkish intervention. Rarely does internal division and political fragmentation occur as radically as in Libya, where it has been the primary obstacle to the re-establishment of central authority. The book analyzes the forces that have shaped the country's trajectory since 2011. Based on hundreds of interviews with key actors in the conflict, it shows how war transformed pre-existing social structures. The book places the social ties of actors at the centre of analysis and explores the links between violent conflict and social cohesion. Wolfram Lacher is a Senior Associate at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin. His research focuses on conflict dynamics in Libya and the Sahel region, and he has done frequent field research in Libya since 2007. Lacher has been published in a range of journals and media outlets, including Survival, Mediterranean Politics, Foreign Affairs and The Washington Post. It is commonplace to see inter-communal, religious or ethnic conflict as an important factor in war ravaged countries. But the discussion of these features are often crude and one-sided. Tribal, clan or religious based identities, for example, are frequently cast as the only significant factor. To overcome this, the Conflict Research Programme investigates the holistic relationship between different, interconnected logics: a political marketplace condition where politics becomes a question of buying and selling support, and the role of exclusivist identity politics as a means to legitimacy for armed groups. The intersection of these elements is fuelled and sustained by violent conflict. In this podcast, we investigate the relationship between political marketplace conditions and organised violence in Iraq and Syria. We also review the political history of post-1991 Ethiopia and ask if it's undergoing a transformation from a developmental state to a political marketplace one. And we consider what the necessary ingredients are to move beyond these violent logics of conflict. Featuring professor Alex de Waal (Tufts University and LSE), Mulugeta Berhe, former Ethiopian freedom fighter and research fellow at Tufts University, Rim Turkmani, the director of the Syria Research Programme, LSE, and Jessica Watkins, researcher at the Middle East Centre, LSE. This podcast series has been funded by the UK Department of International Development as part of the Conflict Research Programme. This event is the launch of Dr Jessica Watkins' latest paper Iran in Iraq: The Limits of 'Smart Power' Amidst Public Protest. Post 2003, Iran has shown greater aptitude than Western states for penetrating Iraqi politics and society, producing ‘smart power’ by manipulating the combination of identity politics, patronage networks, and coercion which have become prevalent in both. But Iranian interference has been a major source of grievance for Iraqis since the outbreak of the October 2019 popular protests, undermining the Islamic Republic’s non-coercive influence. This paper situates Iran’s influence-gaining strategies in Iraq within its broader regional foreign policy objectives. Focusing on heritage, religious authority, charitable activities and media broadcasting, the paper draws on Arabic and Farsi language social and traditional media sources to argue that while the Islamic Republic has invested in potential sources of ‘soft power’ to broadly appeal to Iraqis, it has prioritised core support groups whose activities are increasingly unpalatable to the public. The paper reflects on how international actors should respond to current expressions of anti-Iran sentiment in Iraq. Jessica Watkins is a Research Officer at the LSE Middle East Centre. She works on the DfID sponsored Conflict Research Programme and her research focuses on regional and domestic drivers of conflict and peace in Iraq and Syria. Jessica has a BA from Cambridge University in Arabic and French, a Masters in International Relations from the War Studies Department, King’s College London, and a PhD on civil policing in Jordan, also from the War Studies Department. This event launched the paper “Response to and Reparations for Conflict-Related Sexual Violence in Iraq: The Case of Shi’a Turkmen Survivors in Tel Afar” published under the LSE Conflict Research Programme by Principal Investigator Güley Bor. During the most recent Islamic State conflict, thousands of Yazidi, and hundreds of Shi’a Turkmen and Christian women were kidnapped and subjected to various forms of conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV). The situation of Shi’a Turkmen survivors of CRSV in Tel Afar in the Nineveh Governorate demonstrates how the Government of Iraq’s inaction, together with its discriminatory laws and practices, continue to fail women, and survivors in particular. Recent efforts to establish a reparations program are commendable, yet challenges remain. Iraq is in urgent need of wider reform in addressing sexual violence and ensuring its non-repetition. Given the emergency nature of CRSV, this paper explores the need for all survivors in Iraq to be provided with timely, comprehensive and survivor-centric medical, psychosocial, legal and economic responses. The paper itself includes recommendations for a complex reparation program designed and implemented through effective survivor consultation that should be established to address the psychological, physical and social harms arising from CRSV. Güley Bor is an international lawyer, researcher and consultant with a focus on transitional justice, human rights and gender in Iraq and Turkey. Previously, she managed the Yazidi Genocide Documentation Project of Yazda in Duhok, Kurdistan Region of Iraq as a Harvard Law School Satter Human Rights Fellow. She also authored Yazda’s second mass graves report entitled Working Against the Clock: Documenting Mass Graves of Yazidis Killed by the Islamic State. Dr Ali Akram al-Bayati is a neurologist and the founder and president of Turkmen Rescue Foundation, an NGO dedicated to defending human rights of minorities in Iraq, particularly the Turkmen. He is also a member of the Iraqi High Commission for Human Rights, Iraq's national human rights institution. Dr Jessica Watkins is a Research Officer at the Middle East Centre, currently working on a DFID-funded project looking at regional drivers of conflict in Iraq and Syria. Her PhD at the Department of War Studies, King’s College London, was on policing and dispute management in Jordan. Join the conversation on Twitter using #LSEIraq

The Iraqi media landscape has been characterised by partisan ownership, in the main based on political and religious affiliations. Comparative ethnographic research has revealed highly irregular practices and the struggles of Iraqi journalists to adhere to the norms of professionalism, suggesting that these practices are contributing to and fuelling the on-going context of conflict and violence in Iraq. Within this challenging environment, there have been some attempts to develop media platforms that carve out spaces which can contribute to better journalism and, ultimately, better local and national governance. This report explores, in the context of this environment, the challenges that these media are facing. It examines a number of barriers to the development of independent media in Iraq, providing some recommendations to how these obstacles might be be tackled. Based on interviews with key media and political stakeholders that took place in Iraq in January and February 2019, it provides some insight into the complex interaction between political and social conditions, structure and agency in Iraq. Recorded on 11 June 2019. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aida Al-Kaisy is a Media Reform Advisor and has worked extensively on media development projects across the MENA region including in Iraq, Palestine and Jordan. This report assesses widespread claims that pan-Arab satellite news channels have been responsible for inciting sectarian violence during the Arab uprisings. Based on an empirical study of how three of the most popular channels – Al-Jazeera Arabic, Al-Arabiya and Al-Mayadeen - have framed seminal events involving violence between sects in Syria and Iraq, the report finds that while often geo-politically charged, some of these claims are valid. While abusive language or direct promotion of violence is rare in a mainstream context, incitement to sectarian violence has primarily been invoked through linguistic, stylistic and thematic tropes that forge legitimacy claims and narratives of victimhood. The paper draws on these findings to make recommendations for UK policymaker engagement with the Arab media. Recorded on 1 May 2019. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jessica Watkins is Research Officer at the Middle East Centre, currently working on a DFID-funded project looking at regional drivers of conflict in Iraq and Syria. The national armed forces of Arab states have been undergoing a radical transformation. New fluid coalitions of armed state and non-state actors engage in complex patterns of coexistence and contestation, set within a wider context of geopolitical rivalry between their external backers. Speakers: Toby Dodge, Zeynep Kaya and Jessica Watkins, LSE Middle East Centre; Renad Mansour; Chatham House. It has now been over a year since the liberation of Mosul by Iraqi government forces in July 2017. This victory marks a new stage in the violent conflict that has destabilised Iraq since at least regime change in 2003. In some ways, the breakthrough in July 2017 can be compared firstly to the initial aftermath of the invasion in April 2003 until the insurgency transformed itself into a civil war in 2005, and then secondly to the period following the US-led surge that started in February 2007 until the reconstitution of ISIS and the fall of Mosul in 2014. However, as all these examples indicate, if the underlying drivers of instability are not properly identified and mediated through accurately targeted policy interventions, then a return to the levels of organised violence that have dominated Iraq for the majority of the last fifteen years is likely. This event marks the launch of the Conflict Research Programme (CRP) Iraq. Funded by UK DFID, the Conflict Research Programme (CRP) is a three-year programme designed to address the drivers and dynamics of violent conflict in the Middle East and Africa and to inform the measures being used to tackle armed conflict and its impacts. This is our fourth and final episode of “Let Me Ascertain You: Holy Matrimony” from our investigations into American Weddings. In celebration of the defeat of DOMA in the Supreme Court this past summer we decided to poke around in the grand old institution of marriage and then as we do with each of our Let Me Ascertain You shows, we have actors perform these verbatim interviews in front of a live audience. This show took place in our home away from home, Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater. We’ll start things off with a couple here in NYC who celebrated their 25th anniversary by traveling across the country to get married in every state that currently recognizes legal gay marriage. Here are actors Greg McFadden and Brad Heberlee playing Stephen and Pat. Then, Susannah Flood plays Caragh, a designer from Australia and Daoud Heidami plays Paul, from the town Normal, Illinois. We did these interviews separately and then edited them together, so Paul and Caragh can tell you their story together. Our final song of the series is based off of an interview with Brian, manager of the Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel who stars in all of their themed weddings from Elvis to Darth Vader to Fat Bastard. “In Vegas” was written by Erato A. Kremmyda, with lyrics by Maggie-Kate Coleman. Erato and Maggie-Kate are both currently members in our R & D Group this year working on a new show of theirs and we’re glad they lent us their talents for this Vegas extravaganza. “In Vegas” is performed here by Brian Charles Rooney, Annalisa Ledson and Christine Perotta, accompanied by Erato Kremmyda.
