The Blind Rage Podcast unwraps SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT, PART 2 (1987), a movie that proves bad dialogue can be an art form. Eric Freeman hams it up like every scene is an audition for “Most Over-the-Top Performance of the Year,” while the film happily recycles scenes like it's on a festive clip-show budget. It's chaotic, absurd, and so gloriously terrible you'll laugh, cringe, and maybe even applaud the sheer audacity of it all.

Kevin & Bethany Paige Return: Launching Saddle Up Memphis + Recapping the “All About Love” Show Derrick and Jeff welcome back Kevin and Bethany Paige for their second appearance and talk about upcoming and recent projects. The main focus is the debut of Saddle Up Memphis, an '80s/'90s (with a few exceptions) “diva country” band featuring Bethany Paige on lead vocals. They share details for the debut show on Saturday, May 2nd at Neil's Music Room, encourage listeners to follow Saddle Up Memphis on Facebook and reserve tables, and discuss plans for future gigs. The conversation includes influences and artists they plan to cover (e.g., Reba, Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Jo Dee Messina, Patty Loveless, Bonnie Raitt, Dixie Chicks, Rascal Flatts, and more), thoughts on story-driven country vs. “beer and trucks,” and the appeal of '90s country for musicians and dance floors. They also recap Kevin and Bethany's “All About Love” event at the Esplanade Event Center in November, including theextreme effort it took to put it on, and the large band lineup (including Angelo Earl, Gerald Allen, Eric Freeman, a four-piece horn section with Victor Sawyer, Mark Franklin, Chris Barnes, and their daughter singing). Additional topics include their duo performances around Southaven and elsewhere (Tequila, casinos, Lucky Dog, Lafayette's) and their sitcom-theme segment (e.g., The Jeffersons, Facts of Life, Friends, Cheers). The episode ends with reminders to check out Saddle Up Memphis at Neil's on May 2nd Saddle Up Memphis Premier, Neil's Music Room, Saturday, May 2nd at 8 pm Event Link - https://www.facebook.com/share/1Ap6vE5a1w/ TIP BUCKET If you find it in your heart to donate to the cause and help fuel the podcast you can do so through our new Venmo and CashApp. Your support is greatly appreciated and will help shine a brighter spotlight on the great Memphis Music Community. The weather has dominated life for many this month, from storms and flooding in South West England to snow and rain in parts of Scotland, flooding in Northern Ireland and strong winds and rain across Wales. Rural communities and the leader of Devon County Council have called on the government for urgent financial support because of the impact of this month's storms, particularly on roads and railways saying more frequent rough weather highlights the need for more investment. All this week we are talking sustainable systems - whether that's how we farm or how we make farming a more economically sustainable and resilient business. The University of Lincoln has been working with a Nottinghamshire farmer on an innovative project called ‘Reverse Coal', which has just won a national sustainability award. We visit Pollybell Farms to find out more about biochar.A tale of legacy, love and rare breeds: Clifford Freeman farms in Gloucestershire where he has the world's biggest herd of Gloucester cattle. He is also the custodian of his father's collections of rare breed sheep and pigs and vintage farm wagons. Eric Freeman was a farmer, broadcaster and rare breeds pioneer.Presenter = Charlotte Smith Producer = Rebecca Rooney

Welcome to "What I Know Now," the podcast by The Delta Project, where we dive deep into the realities of the juvenile justice system and explore the journeys of those who have found their way through it. In this powerful episode, host Bilal and co-host Cole Williams sit down with Eric Freeman—an entrepreneur, community advocate, and father in Grand Rapids—to discuss turning pain into purpose, breaking cycles, and the power of mentorship.Eric shares candid reflections on his upbringing, spanning from growing up with material comfort but emotional absence, to navigating a challenging family dynamic as the child of an interracial relationship. He recounts his early encounters with loneliness, the crucial influence of extended family, and how sports shaped his sense of integrity and leadership. As the conversation unfolds, Eric opens up about his time in prison at just 19, what it taught him about survival, and the pivotal role that elders and mentors played in his journey. He explains how barriers to employment following incarceration led him to entrepreneurship—and how that "forced path" sparked his mission: building both positive social impact and wealth creation for underserved communities through his business, Mindset Meals. The hosts and Eric delve into food deserts, poverty, generational cycles, and what true manhood and fatherhood look like—and how showing up, consistently and with love, changes lives. You'll also hear from Bilal and Cole about their own experiences within the system, and the vision behind The Delta Project: to create a community where elders, mentors, and lived experience guide the next generation toward hope, healing, and real opportunity. This episode is a raw, uplifting conversation about resilience, the healing power of relationships, and what it means to break cycles and build a better future—not just for ourselves, but for our whole village.

But the echoes of the past haven't gone silent. If you think you've heard all there is to know about Tennessee's haunted past, think again. While legends like the Bell Witch and Elvis's ghost at Graceland get most of the spotlight, the small towns scattered across Tennessee are brimming with chilling stories that aren't so well known. Eric Freeman Sims is a seasoned paranormal investigator, and he opens the door to those lesser-known haunts in his new book, Small Town Haunts and Legends of Tennessee. Eric shares eerie tales of forgotten spirits, long-buried secrets, and the restless echoes that refuse to fade. DeCoteau DeCember continues on The Blind Rage Podcast! For week two, we're taking a look at David DeCoteau's 1989 MURDER WEAPON, starring and co-produced by the legendary Linnea Quigley. This thinly-plotted quickie is probably the goriest of David's many films and truly showcases his desire to exploit hard-bodied men, who spend most of the movie running around in no more than Speedos and short shorts. MURDER WEAPON also carries a bit of cult cache for featuring SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT 2's Eric Freeman (credited here as Damon Charles), in his first feature post “Garbage day!”
An electronic form of Tulpamancy appears to manifest exponentially through our digital highway. The internet and social media take on a paranormal persona—a dead entity that lives vicariously through your thoughts and actions. We use it to conjure our various beasts – our monster from the ID (Inner-Demon). Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram take just a bit of your soul and sells it back to you as a product –all it asks of you is your estrangement. We give it willingly and no one throws out a warning that conjuring can happen at the push of the enter key. Tonight on Ground Zero, Clyde Lewis talks with host of The Unseen Paranormal Podcast, Eric Freeman Sims about DEMON SCREENING.Originally Broadcast On 10/17/22

Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 (1987) synopsis: “The now-adult Ricky talks to a psychiatrist about how he became a murderer after his brother, Billy, died, which leads back to Mother Superior.”Starring: Eric Freeman, James Newman, Darrel Guilbeau, and Elizabeth KaitanDirector: Lee HarryGarbage Day!
