Katz: Lynchburg Circuit Court Judge Patrick Yeatts Reaffirms Injunction Blocking Virginia HB 1525 Universal Background Checks A Lynchburg judge rejected Virginia's attempt to revive universal background checks on private firearm sales, keeping the injunction against State Police enforcement in place. On June 3, 2026, Lynchburg Circuit Court Judge Patrick Yeatts denied the Virginia State Police and Attorney General's motion to dissolve his October 2025 permanent injunction. The injunction struck down Virginia's universal background check requirement for private firearm sales (originally enacted in 2020 and codified at Va. Code § 18.2-308.2:5) after finding it unconstitutional under Article I, Section 13 of the Virginia Constitution, particularly as applied to those under 21, and non-severable. The ruling came after the legislature passed and Gov. Abigail Spanberger signed HB 1525 in April 2026 with an emergency clause directing VSP to resume checks; plaintiffs including Gun Owners of America, Virginia Citizens Defense League, and individuals filed to enforce the existing injunction. YouTube DOES RAREBREED HAVE A GOVERNMENT SANCTIONED MONOPOLY?(Savage) Rare Breed Triggers v. DOJ Settlement and ATF Director Robert Cekada Congressional Testimony on Forced Reset Triggers YouTubeVideo | Does RareBreed Have a Government Sanctioned Monopoly? Today we are going to be discussing the most recent development in the RareBreed Triggers situation. Since the settlement with the Department of Justice there have been many lawsuits filed and a major discussion about the legality of other devices that are similar to the FRT-15. Recently the new director of the ATF, Robert Cekada, testified in front of congress and had some interesting things to say about Forced Reset Triggers. ALL LINKS, Join the Email List, and get discounts from the affiliates page: https://linktr.ee/vso_gun_channel #vsogunchannel #rarebreeds #atf #gunlaw #MONOPOLY The VSO Gun Channel video in the Going Ballistic series examines the DOJ settlement with Rare Breed Triggers allowing continued FRT-15 sales contingent on patent enforcement, alongside recent congressional testimony by the new ATF director (referred to as Robert Cekada or Sacuta in sources) clarifying the settlement's narrow scope to Rare Breed's specific forced reset trigger design rather than all similar devices. The discussion covers legal distinctions between rate of fire, trigger function, drop-in auto sears, and potential implications for competing forced reset trigger products. AMMOLAND SHOOTING SPORTS NEWS(Savage) United States v. DeBorba (9th Cir. 2026): Suppressors Not Protected as 'Arms' Under Second Amendment The Ninth Circuit ruled suppressors are not Second Amendment arms in United States v. DeBorba, a bad-facts illegal alien gun case that may hurt future suppressor challenges. The Ninth Circuit affirmed João Ricardo DeBorba's convictions for unlawful possession of firearms, ammunition, and an unregistered silencer under the National Firearms Act (NFA). The court held that silencers/suppressors are optional accessories or ‘accoutrements' rather than ‘arms' covered by the plain text of the Second Amendment, citing prior precedent such as Duncan v. Bonta. It further ruled the NFA's shall-issue registration and taxation regime is constitutional as DeBorba failed to show abusive enforcement. NRA BLOWS WHISTLE ON NRA FOUNDATION, FILES LAWSUIT IN COURT(Savage) National Rifle Association of America v. NRA Foundation (1:26-cv-00015, D.D.C.) The National Rifle Association filed a lawsuit against the NRA Foundation, asserting ownership of intellectual property and alleging the foundation's leadership is operating in bad faith and withholding funds. NRA CEO Doug Hamlin stated the foundation has declined to approve 2026 grant funding, jeopardizing programs like the NRA National Firearms Museum and Eddie Eagle GunSafe program. On January 5, 2026, the National Rifle Association filed suit in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia against its affiliated charitable arm, the NRA Foundation. The complaint asserts NRA ownership of trademarks and intellectual property used by the Foundation, alleges the Foundation's leadership (described as a disgruntled faction of former NRA directors) is operating in bad faith, misleading donors, withholding or misappropriating funds intended for NRA charitable programs, and attempting to break away. The suit seeks to prevent trademark infringement, unfair competition, and separation from the NRA. REVIEWS by Listener What's frustrating you most in gun culture right now? Review: Roadrunner gunner If you haver ever heard the phrase “hes got a face for radio.” Refering to someone who is ugly. Then Savage has the charisma to stand in a field like steel fucking gong. He means well but jesus christ, im a grown man with a stutter, but everytime he reads the news, i catch myself saying “T -T- T – today jr!” I never thought id say it but i wish AAron would come back, just to read the news even he couldn'tfuck that one up. Anyways the rest of you are sufficient enough that i dont regret being in the agency/cult or whatever it is now. Thanks for tickling my ear pu$$y twice a week. Review: Kyle R. from Iowa Dear WLS,Question I'm turning into a product review because I'm glad to hear about Foxtrot Mike signing on. What is the oddest, or most expensive fix you've ever done to get a trash gun running? For yourself, friend, customer, anyone. I got a Turkish 410 AR upper to play around with. Put it on a known functioning lower with their supplied modified buffer because the proprietary BCG is slightly longer. Slam fired half a magazine. Looked it over, tried a different lower with their other buffer they supplied. Slam fired 3 rounds, had an out of battery, sheared the bolt off. Sent it back. They sent me a whole new upper right around the same time I listened to the last episode you had Foxtrot Mike on. They were talking about slam firing 9mm and buffer weights. I immediately picked up a couple recoil mitigation buffers for PCCs. When the new 410 upper showed up I weighed the supplied buffers to

There are only 29 special needs dentists in Australia. Seven of them work in NSW. And 1.4 million Australians with profound or severe disabilities depend on someone else to brush their teeth. In this episode of The Dental Practitioner, host Dr Cathleen Dong sits down with Dr Zanab Malik — special needs dentist, researcher, and founder of the AI-powered oral health app My Special Needs Dental Home — to unpack a specialty that most dentists have never fully encountered.Zanab shares her journey from general practice and paediatric dentistry into one of the country's smallest and most demanding specialties, what a day in her life actually looks like, and why she believes every general dentist is already seeing patients with special needs whether they realise it or not.She also discusses the findings of her PhD into weight stigma in the dental setting, the critical importance of person-first language, and the practical steps any practice can take tomorrow to become more inclusive.Topics covered: what special needs dentistry actually is and who it serves, the path to specialisation, general dentistry skills as a foundation, the education gap for new graduates, day-in-the-life of a specialist, PhD research on weight stigma, person-first language, practical inclusion strategies, bariatric dentistry and chair weight limits, and the AI app designed to close the access gap.The Dental Practitioner is brought to you by the Australian Dental Association NSW. The pig industry has published a new environmental roadmap to help the sector produce pork more sustainably. It's being led by the AHDB and will focus on things like reducing carbon, improving air quality, managing nutrients and waste and using on-farm energy. All this week we're looking at reducing emissions from farming - one poultry farmer in South Shropshire is trying out biochar, a type of charcoal, to help tackle the ammonia from chicken muck.White Park Cattle are an iconic native breed here in the UK, dating back to Roman Times. They're very distinctive, with white coats, black ears and noses. Their falling numbers back in the early 1970's was the start of the establishment of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust or RBST. Today the RBST has placed the breed on to the Most Urgent category of its Watch list, after a 36 percent fall in the number of calves registered since 2022. There's concern that animal welfare may be at risk on some Scottish islands because of widespread disruption to ferry services. Eight ferries serving islands on the west coast of Scotland were out of service earlier this week. Calmac, Caledonian MacBrayne, the government owned company that runs them, describes the situation as critical with almost every island affected. NFU Scotland says there's a risk vital supplies like feed and fertiliser won't arrive on crofts and farms when they are needed most. We take a closer look at how all this is affecting businesses on the Isle of Barra, speaking to a haulier and the managing director of a shellfish company. There are 60 native breeds of sheep in the UK and DEFRA says 40 of those breeds are officially at risk, with fewer than 6000 breeding ewes according to their newly published ‘UK native breeds support' list. Farmers who keep rare breed sheep often sell their meat for a premium at farmers markets or in box schemes, but the decline in the number of small abattoirs able to process small batches of carcasses means the numbers just don't add up for some of those farmers now. Rare Breed Brother vs. Brother — Was a Gun Pulled?Today on Black Dragon Biker TV, we're talking about a situation that hits close to the heart of MC culture — Brother vs. Brother.Brother-to-brother conflicts happen in the motorcycle world. They always have. But there was a time when, if allegations were made and a club shut down on you, there was nothing you could do to clear your name. If the club said you were out bad, then out bad you were — the community moved on, and that was that.Today, things are different. With social media, people now have the ability to tell their side of the story themselves. In this show, we're not here to decide who was right or wrong. We're not assigning fault. We're simply asking one question: In the Rare Breed vs. Rare Breed incident — was a gun actually pulled?Looking strictly at the video that's circulating, we'll talk about whether a weapon can be seen, or whether a 61-year-old OG stood on business and protected his colors in a moment of chaos. We'll also highlight something positive from the weekend: Outcast MC, Sin City MC, and Hells Lovers MC came together for a unity party in St. Louis, and by all accounts it was nothing but peace, fun, love, and one hell of a party. Thousands showed up. No violence. No incidents. Once again, the 1%ers showed how it's done. On the flip side, we'll touch on more bad news for the Pagans MC, as arrests involving members continue to make headlines. And finally, we'll address a troubling story gaining traction online: Galloping Goose MC is in the social media spotlight after a video surfaced showing a woman being beaten by a member in public at a bar, raising serious questions about conduct, accountability, and image in the digital age. This is a conversation about allegations, evidence, unity, and accountability — without hype and without agendas.Join Black Dragon, Lavish T. Rare Breed — More to the StoryToday on Black Dragon Biker TV, we're revisiting yesterday's Rare Breed discussion — because it appears there may be more to the story than what the camera alone shows.Sometimes everything comes down to word choice.Context matters. Language matters. And in this case, the difference between “a gun was pulled” and “a gun was brandished” may change the entire meaning of what people think they saw. We've now heard from members of the Breed Nation and others who were present during the incident. Today, we'll share what we've learned, clarify the language being used, and explain why precision matters when situations are discussed publicly. We'll also highlight some positive news: Da Mob MC is making headlines for helping others during the extreme cold in Albany, Georgia, showing once again how clubs often step up quietly when communities are hurting. On the legal front, we'll touch on:An 8th Pagans MC member being held for court in the Wawa biker club shooting caseA Delray Beach Pagans biker “gang” member arrested in the Florida KeysAnd an international case where the Indian-origin founder of the “Punjabi Devils” biker gang has pleaded guilty to unlawful firearms sales in the United StatesNo exaggeration. The weather has dominated life for many this month, from storms and flooding in South West England to snow and rain in parts of Scotland, flooding in Northern Ireland and strong winds and rain across Wales. Rural communities and the leader of Devon County Council have called on the government for urgent financial support because of the impact of this month's storms, particularly on roads and railways saying more frequent rough weather highlights the need for more investment. All this week we are talking sustainable systems - whether that's how we farm or how we make farming a more economically sustainable and resilient business. The University of Lincoln has been working with a Nottinghamshire farmer on an innovative project called ‘Reverse Coal', which has just won a national sustainability award. We visit Pollybell Farms to find out more about biochar.A tale of legacy, love and rare breeds: Clifford Freeman farms in Gloucestershire where he has the world's biggest herd of Gloucester cattle. He is also the custodian of his father's collections of rare breed sheep and pigs and vintage farm wagons. Despite the impact of avian flu, which has been devastating for some turkey farmers, the industry says there will not be a shortage this Christmas. Poultry farms were hit so badly in 2022 that many farmers brought in contingency plans to cope with the possibility of the disease striking them.Rural roads are significantly more dangerous than urban ones. The latest figures from the Department for Transport show that 956 people were killed in 2024, that's 72% more than on urban roads. The figures have been analysed by NFU Mutual insurance, and it's now calling for more specific training for driving on rural roads, especially for those who break the law.The Spanish region of Catalonia is still coping with the arrival of African swine fever, which was first diagnosed in wild boar on November 28th. There have now been 13 confirmed cases in wild boar, and 80,000 pigs are having to be slaughtered as a precaution. The authorities are looking into the possibility that the disease may have leaked from a research facility.Thousands of people are still not connected to the National Grid and rely on generators for power, according to the energy regulator. Ofgem estimates up to 2,000 properties in the UK are still off-grid. Some have been asked to pay hundreds of thousands of pounds if they want a connection. Now a charity in Northumberland says the government should do more to help. All week, we've been talking about rare breeds of livestock and at just 15 years of age, Sebastian Carr is quite the celebrity in the world of rare breed pigs. Whether you listen or watch us, make sure you like, listen, subscribe, and leave good feedback. Also, make sure you become a member.A holiday pour tastes better with a story, and this one comes straight from the rickhouse. We welcome industry veteran Gregg Snyder to trace the line from turkey tracks and conservation fields to the barrel floors of Wild Turkey, sharing how an overlooked inventory problem lit the spark for Russell's Reserve and why protecting tradition still matters in a world of shortcuts. We start with the outdoors: the rush of a dawn gobble, how to tell a gobbler's print from a hen's, and why the wild bird's best eating is in the breast. Gregg breaks down simple, crowd-pleasing prep—crispy nuggets, teriyaki kebabs, even a bright, silky piccata—then connects that kitchen craft to the patient arc of bourbon maturation. From Brown‑Forman's cooperage to his tenure running operations at Wild Turkey, he explains the quiet rule that shaped a generation of whiskey: never change how the whiskey is made. No enzyme tricks, no shortcuts—just wood, time, and careful selection. Then we open the vault. Gregg recounts proposing a new bourbon to honor Jimmy Russell—Russell's Reserve—born from aging stock the spreadsheets wouldn't touch. We talk warehouses from Camp Nelson to McBrayer, the effect of elevation and airflow, entry proof shifts, and why Rare Breed's blend-first logic still sings. A guided tasting squares Russell's 13 against 15: caramel-vanilla richness vs oak-forward structure. If you love dessert-like depth, 13 feels like a sweet spot; if you crave tannin and cigar-box edges, 15 scratches that itch. Along the way you'll hear the kind of Jimmy Russell stories that make you smile and pour another ounce. This one blends heritage, practical tasting insights, and the warmth of a Thanksgiving table. If bourbon history, Wild Turkey lore, and smart, no‑nonsense tasting notes are your thing, you'll feel right at home. Before we pop the cork, we set the stage with a quick tour of craft roots in the Ohio River Valley and why provenance still matters when you're choosing bottles that feel authentic, not algorithm-made.From there we take you inside Ohio's Single Barrel Saturday—a statewide release day with a real selection team, fewer sample-box picks, and more collaboration with distillers and blenders. Think strategy over luck: where to line up, how to plan, and why the experience is as much about community as it is about limited bottles. Plans for a new National Park in Galloway and Ayrshire have been dropped. The Scottish Rural Affairs Secretary, Mairi Gougeon, has announced that following a consultation, the park doesn't have enough support locally, and so will not go ahead. In the Broads National Park in Norfolk, a rise in the number of deer is having an impact on habitats and farmland. A drone survey to asses the numbers has revealed as many as 20 per square km. Work is underway to generate a market for local venison to help support culling. And we meet Vice Chair of the Rare Breed Survival Trust, Ryan Perry. He started off feeding the pigs at his local city farm in Gateshead at the age of 7, where he fell in love with Tamworths. Now he's on a smallholding where he keeps pigs, three breeds of sheep, goats, poultry and cattle...alongside a full time job in the NHS as a biomedical scientist.Presented by Charlotte Smith Produced by Heather Simons
