Sunny Bonnell is the trailblazing co-founder of Motto, renowned author of "Rare Breed," and a keynote speaker making waves by championing bold, unconventional leadership. As one of the rare women leaders in the creative industry and a true rebel with a cause, Sunny's mission is to help individuals, teams, and iconic brands unlock their ultimate potential. Driven by a passion for igniting vision and possibility in others, she has ignited transformation for leaders at companies like Google, Microsoft, and the Minnesota Vikings, all while inspiring others to embrace the very traits that make them stand out. Takeaways: Visionary Leadership Isn't Optional – Sunny stresses that true progress and agility come from visionary leadership that gets clearly communicated and embedded at every level of an organization, not just in the C-suite. Embrace Your “Rare Breed” Traits – The characteristics we're often told to tone down—rebelliousness, audacity, emotion—can actually be flipped into an unstoppable force when harnessed thoughtfully. Mission, Vision, and Values Require Simplicity and Action – Misalignment happens when company values are complicated. Codify and tie core beliefs to clear actions so your team can rally around a shared mission and truly perform. Sound Bites: “You have to succeed because of who you are, not despite who you are.” “Vision without action is just a daydream. You need both visionaries and stabilizers for the boat to go anywhere.” “If you're not looking for big things, I'm not the person for you. We do big things.” Connect & Discover Sunny: LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/sunnybonnell Instagram: Instagram.com/sunnybonnell Website: www.sunnybonnell.com Website: www.wearemotto.com Website: VisionCamp Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/rarebreedtv Book: Rare Breed: A Guide to Success for the Defiant, Dangerous, and Different

When she's not primping and pampering pups she can be found at one of the local shelters where she volunteers as a foster and dog walker. If you've been looking for a smaller breed of goat that's parasite resistant, has excellent mothering skills, and comes in a variety of colors, the Arapawa goat from New Zealand might be a good fit, especially if you are interested in conserving rare breeds. In this episode, we are joined by Emily Nyman, Arapawa Goat Breeders Association President and Livestock Coordinator at Conner Prairie in Indiana, a living history farm museum that has a herd of Arapawa.Their feral history means that this breed is very hardy, but there are also challenges for those who want to raise them, such as finding breeding stock. With only 300 total goats in the United States, you probably won't find them locally.Emily talks about the Arapawa's history, appearance, size, and more in this exciting episode.See full show notes here >> https://thriftyhomesteader.com/arapawa-goats/ To see the most recent episodes, visit ForTheLoveOfGoats.comWant to support the content you love?Head over to -- https://thrifty-homesteader.ck.page/products/love-goats-tip-jarThanks for listening! No one ever said raising goats was easy, but it doesn't have to cost a fortune or drive you crazy! What if a novelization only decided to adapt the first half of the movie? Well, it makes for an extremely weird story structure, dramatically. This week, we're joined by returning guest Paxton Holley to discuss The Rare Breed, a book so obsessed with the minutiae of cowboy life that we had to read pages and pages about types of rope and kinds of food to feed your horse. It's excruciating! Next year could see drones being used for the first time to drop microscopic worms on trees, to protect them from harmful insects. The worms, or nematodes, are natural predators of damaging insects and the forest industry is developing ways of controlling pests as pesticides it currently relies on are phased out.Another outbreak of Bluetongue has been recorded in Norfolk making a total of 11 cases in England. Stock on six different premises, in Kent and Norfolk have been affected. There are restrictions on moving animals in the protection zones and farmers say its difficult to find abattoirs to process their animals within those zones. We speak to a beef farmer who remembers a big outbreak which affected farms across Europe in 2007.All week we're looking at rare breeds. The North Ronaldsay are one of the UK's oldest and rarest breeds of sheep. They're shaggy and small and can often be found grazing on seaweed along the coast of the northernmost of the Orkney Islands, which they're named after. But more recently farmers on the UK mainland have taken to keeping the breed which is listed as a priority by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.Presenter = Anna Hill Producer =Rebecca Rooney
