The Browns make the final decision on their biggest roster issue today by releasing Cade York after trading for veteran kicker Dustin Hopkins. York had all the potential and at times it showed just could not show enough consistency. Cleveland having lost four games last year by three points or less and looking at a difficult schedule to start the year had to make the move. Hopkins does not have the strength of York but he is consistent from 48 and in.Mike Dunn it seems got the Greg Robinson and Kevin Zeitler treatment in one shot, but should be back.Debating the non-obvious roster cuts remaining and taking into account the team has 3 possible players who are injured they may want to keep on their final 53.#Dawgpound #BrownsGametimeDownload the Gametime app, create an account, and use code LOCKEDONNFL for $20 off your first purchase. Hopkins does not have the strength of York but he is consistent from 48 and in. Mike Dunn it seems got the Greg Robinson and Kevin Zeitler treatment in one shot, but should be back. Debating the non-obvious roster cuts remaining and taking into account the team has 3 possible players who are injured they may want to keep on their final 53. #Dawgpound #Browns Gametime Download the Gametime app, create an account, and use code LOCKEDONNFL for $20 off your first purchase. Last year, Loudwire published an article with the headline, "Satanic Ska is a Real Thing That Actually Exists." The satanic ska band they were referring to was New York-based Mephiskapheles. And the band has existed for over thirty years. But mixing ska music and tongue-in-cheek Satanic imagery is only one attribute that distinguished the group from their 90s ska peers. Their music was unlike any other group. On their debut album, God Bless Satan, they mixed traditional ska drums & Skatalites-inspired walking bass lines with experimental, menacing songwriting and strange, jazzy horn lines. And for their 2nd and third albums, Maximum Perversion & Might-Ay White-Ay, they went even further into avant-garde territory. Today, we chat about Mephiskapheles' entire interesting career with singer Andre A. Worrell, bassist Michael Bitz and trombonist Greg Robinson. We talk about their deep love for The Skatalites and The Scofflaws, and how their goal in the 90s was to displace The Toasters as the top New York ska band. We also talk about working with Victor Rice and Bill Laswell on God Bless Satan, their numerous vehicle problems, the origins of "The Bumble Bee Tuna Song," how they managed to get the "Doomsday" video on MTV, and we even talk about their label and lawsuit problems in the late 90s that sent the band on hiatus for several years. But we also talk about what the band is doing now, from touring all over the world and meeting eager fans to holding online seances to still blowing the minds of people that never imagined that satanic ska was a real thing. Inside The Mix PodcastA serial podcast that delivers exclusive synth music interviews and tutorials.Listen on: Apple Podcasts Spotify Friday Songs & Photobombs Friday Songs & Photobombs focuses on a variety of topics intended to inform, entertain...Listen on: Apple Podcasts Spotify Things I HateNew Entertainment/Comedy podcast discussing things we HATE. This episode was originally recorded and streamed live.   During this episode Luke, Hannah, and Chris each mention an episode that had a big impact on them. Here they are:   Luke: Magic in the Room #79: How to Develop Leaders with Greg Robinson This conversation with Greg Robinson helped Luke understand that leadership is not defined solely by the science of best practices, behaviors, and competencies. Rather, leaders are also defined by their character, values, and conviction.   Hannah: Magic in the Room #65: The Hope Theory with Special Guest Dr. Chan Hellman This conversation with Dr. Chan Hellman helped Hannah understand hope as a tangible idea that can be measured. People with hope have a vision, a pathway to accomplishing the vision, and the agency to execute that plan, which is in direct contrast to someone who dreams of a better future but has no hope of that dream ever becoming a reality.   Chris: Magic in the Room #84: Win and Help Win in Tribal Enterprise with Brian Gooden Episode 84 included a conversation with Brian Gooden about what it means to be a Warrior or an Elder, in particular in the context of Tribal Enterprises. Elders provide counsel, and Warriors take action to be responsible for people's well-being, which does not necessarily mean bearing arms in battle.    Get a free Magic in the Room hat by posting a review and sending a screenshot to info@purposeandperformancegroup.com   Music by evangrimmusic.com Recorded at storycatcher.studio Support from techblogwriter.co.uk
