Celebrating its 10th anniversary this month, Zach and Chris kick off another year of Everything Action Commentaries with I, Frankenstein.Aaron Eckhart stars as Frankenstein's Monster aka Adam Frankenstein, who, following the events of the Mary Shelley novel, becomes embroiled in the eternal war of gargoyles and demons. 200 years after his creation, Adam takes it upon himself to hunt down and destroy demons but his methods put him at odds with the gargoyles, led by their queen Leonore (Miranda Otto). A plot by the demon prince Naberius (Bill Nighy) to use Frankenstein's resurrection science to unleash an army of undead demons threatens both gargoyle and humankind. While watching the movie, Zach and Chris talk about how the opening is shockingly accurate to the Frankenstein novel, the similarities to Underworld (which makes sense as Kevin Grevioux helped create both), Adam's training regime, the overly conspicuous gargoyle and demon deaths, tracking resurrection as a percentage and more. You can watch I, Frankenstein on Max and watch along with the Everything Action crew.We want to hear your comments and feedback. Hot Dog #13- We're BACK!! After nearly two months of technical difficulties we are back. This Week we watch the modern classic, 2012's "I Frankenstein. This film had us asking such questions as, why is it gargoyles instead of angels? Why does everyone we know who Frankenstein is? Why do two scientists trying to reanimate corpses have no knowledge about the lethality of electricity? Did Frankenstein always have a soul, and if so why? If not, when did he get one, and why? Who does this movie cater to? Why did this movie make as much money as it did? And other questions! Join us for this Hot Dog! Edited by- Zach, Music by Nick April

Horror, sci-fi, fantasy, thriller, techno-thriller, mystery. You name it, it's coming. Last year looked like it was going to be one hell of a year but by some it turned out otherwise. Yet this year, once again, filmmakers everywhere are whetting the chops of genre fans throughout the world. For those so inclined, here is the short list of what we discuss in the episode. Kevin Smith's Tusk, Eli Roth's Green Inferno, Oliver Blackburn's Random, Ti West's Sacrament, Simon Rumley's The Last Word, and the Joe R. Lansdale penned and Jim Mickle directed Cold in July. Other horror films include Willow Creek, Devil's Due, The Jungle, Hellions, Occulus, All Cheerleaders Die, Scorned, Nothing Bad Can Happen, The Loft, Faults, and Afflicted. Some bigger films spoken of include Joe Hill's Horns, Guardians of the Galaxy, Christopher Nolan's Interstellar, Deliver Us From Evil, and the Scarlett Johansson's film, Under the Skin. Many remakes or sequels discussed include The Town that Dreaded Sundown, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Poltergeist, The Purge 2, Rec 4: Apocalypse, Wolf Creek 2, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Robocop, Dead Snow: Red Vs. Dead, X-Men: Days of Future Past, and The Hobbit: There and Back Again. Plus other films that may be low profile that seem interesting are Joon-ho Bong's Snowpiercer, Sinbad the 5th Voyage, I Frankenstein, the Lance Henricksen film Harbinger Down, Pompeii, Edge of Tomorrow, Big Bad Wolves, Nights of Badassdum, the thriller simply titled +1, and the dark thriller Nurse 3-D (among others).
