Headlined by Jon Moxley vs. Swerve Strickland for the AEW Championship, it ended with a convoluted finish and a shocking return. The Owen Hart Tournament kicked off with three opening-round matches, but with the main card lasting over four hours, should these matches have been left off the show? Welcome to Wrestling Tonight, your weekly source for thoughtful analysis and comprehensive coverage of professional wrestling across AEW, WWE, NJPW, TNA, and beyond. In Episode 119, we take a closer look at AEW Dynasty 2025, an event that may not have aimed for spectacle, but instead offered meaningful story progression and character development. From Kenny Omega's standout title defense in a triple threat against Ricochet and Speedball Mike Bailey to the chaotic main event between Jon Moxley and Swerve Strickland, the night reflected AEW's evolving creative direction. Key moments—such as the return of the Young Bucks, FTR's turn on Adam Copeland, and Okada's silent confrontation with Omega—signal major storylines moving forward. We also cover the emotional win by Bandido over Chris Jericho, Adam Cole's TNT Championship victory, and the strong showing by Megan Bayne in her title challenge against Toni Storm. These matches helped strengthen AEW's midcard and showcased the depth of the roster. Post-show insights from the media scrum, featuring comments from Toni Storm, Anthony Bowens, and Adam Cole, offered personal reflections on the night's impact and direction. Outside AEW, WWE made headlines this week with Kevin Owens announcing he will undergo neck surgery, officially pulling out of his scheduled WrestleMania 41 match. Meanwhile, CM Punk invoked his long-standing favor from Paul Heyman, asking Heyman to be in his corner for the main event at WrestleMania. The request set off a tense segment involving Roman Reigns, as Heyman, torn between loyalty and respect, made a surprising decision. Also featured in this week's episode: TNA rebrands the Digital Media Title as the International Championship, with a new tournament underway. NJPW's Best of the Super Juniors 32 field is set, with AEW's Nick Wayne and others making their debuts. Previewing the full schedule for WrestleMania week, including NXT Stand & Deliver, Bloodsport, Joey Janela's Spring Break, and more. AEW announces Fyter Fest's return as a four-hour special on June 4. A preview of NJPW Windy City Riot, featuring Hiroshi Tanahashi's final U.S. match and several high-stakes bouts. As the wrestling world builds toward a busy spring of major events, Wrestling Tonight continues to bring you timely updates, considered insights, and in-depth discussion. Thank you for listening and supporting the show. Be sure to subscribe, leave a review, and join us next week as we continue to follow the evolving stories across the wrestling landscape.

Episode 294 of No One's Ready For Wrestling discusses AEW Revolution which was a great PPV! Who was the number 1 contender for the AEW World Champion? Toni Storm & Mariah May bled buckets in a brutal match for the AEW Women's Championship. Speaking of bleeding buckets, Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher went to war inside a steel cage with one spot in particular off the top of the cage. I hated the main event of Revolution and they made Christian Cage look like an idiot after cashing in his contract. Why the main event fell flat? The main event of Revolution was originally going to have returns. AEW has considered consolidating the Continental & International Championship and when do I see it happening. Dynamite was a bore even though Mike Bailey made his debut. AJ Styles details his foot injury and it was more serious than we thought. Bronson Reed is getting closer to in ring return. Typhoon confirms that The Natural Disaster will be part of the 2025 WWE Hall Of Fame class. When will WWE return to Australia for their PLE? WWE is reportedly interested in Jeff Cobb and will he sign with the company? Triple Threat match for the Women's World Championship teased after the segment with Rhea, IYO, & Bianca. CM Punk & Seth Rollins killed it in the main event inside a Steel Cage with the return of Roman Reigns and taking out both Rollins & Punk. NXT Roadblock was a phenomenal show and the best show that NXT has produced. Oba Femi & Moose tore the house down in a sold out Madison Square Garden. Stephanie Vaquer & Giulia main evented the show with Stephanie getting the win and the reason why she beat Giulia for the title. Rey Fenix & Aleister black teased for WWE. Axiom & GUNTHER put on a banger of a match on SmackDown. Finally, The Street Profits dethrones #DIY to win the tag titles! All this & so much more RIGHT HERE on No One's Ready For Wrestling!
