Oh yeah! Her ex being blasted on Reddit with a new gal! In part two, Sofia sits down with the breakout star of SOLD SLC Tyna Edwards to discuss her Bravo debut (although she has filmed a scene or two with Jen Shaw) coming out as a lesbian in Utah, and the bombshells we can expect this season. Hello Truthful Listeners! Welcome back! Your Canadian girlies are here with full recaps of our fave Bravo Shows! Today we are recapping: Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (RHOSLC) Season 4 Reunion Part 3 Well, Monica has officially been ousted, and it seems she has been put on pause until further notice! We have some conflicting opinions on this decision, but ultimately Heather and Lisa have painted Andy and Bravo into a corner, leaving them with no choice but to ensure Monica will not be returning to the show next season. We also find out, Baby Gorgeous gets glammed every day (duh!); Mary probably WAS body shaming Heather; the women have very strange relationships with Mary; Monica stands by her original comments that Reality Von Tea(se) was started to expose and bring down Jen Shaw; the Burn Book was a major flop and let down; Monica stalked Jen and despite her not doing this to her fellow cast mates, Heather and Lisa have major issues with this; we are still not convinced Monica sent the messages to Meredith about Angie being in the Greek mafia; Heather spews a few (very few) details about the black eye incident. We then end the episode by ranting about both Monica and Heather…good grief, there's a lot to rant about! Today we are recapping: Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (RHOSLC) Season 4 Reunion Part 1 Monica's insecurity shows; the cast talks about a season without Jen Shaw; Lisa's missing $60,000 ring was sentimental; Monica tells us Jen Shawn never paid her for being her assistant and believes she did the right thing by turning her into the FBI; Whitney looks foolish when we see Lisa did try to comfort her after her friend passed away; Meredith denies denying; Angie understands why Lisa was so hurt when she forgave Monica so quickly; Meredith denies the rewmer was about Angie's marriage…it was just about the husband. JANE JESMOND chats to Paul Burke about her debut thriller ON THE EDGE, Cornwall, Daphne du Maurier, free climbing a fear of heights.ON THE EDGE: Jen Shaw has climbed all her life: daring ascents of sheer rock faces, crumbling buildings, cranes - the riskier the better. Both her work and personal life revolved around climbing, and the adrenaline high it gave her. Until she went too far and hurt the people she cares about. So she's given it all up now. Honestly, she has. And she's checked herself into a rehab centre to prove it.Yet, when Jen awakens to find herself drugged and dangling off the local lighthouse during a wild storm less than twenty-four hours after a 'family emergency' takes her home to Cornwall, she needs all her skill to battle her way to safety.Has Jen fallen back into her old risky ways, or is there a more sinister explanation hidden in her hometown? Only when she has navigated her fragmented memories and faced her troubled past will she be able to piece together what happened - and trust herself to fix it.JANE JESMOND: On The Edge is Jane Jesmond's debut novel and the first in a series featuring dynamic, daredevil protagonist Jen Shaw. Although she was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, raised in Liverpool, and considers herself northern through and through, Jane's family comes from Cornwall. Her lifelong love of the Cornish landscape and culture inspired the setting of On The Edge. Jane has spent the last thirty years living and working in France. She began writing steadily six or seven years ago and writes every morning in between staring out at the sea and making cups of tea.Recommendations:Anthony Price David Audley novels Phosphate Rocks Fiona Erskine Produced by Junkyard DogMusic courtesy of Southgate and LeighCrime Time

The Coronavirus season wraps up for RHOC which was the first of Bravo's Housewives Franchise to air footage of the impact on the cast during the beginning of the COVID 19 lockdown. Some people were turned off by re-living what was a horrible situation for many and turned the show off, others enjoyed seeing how they coped with LOCKDOWN, and how the wealthy had to adapt to finning for themselves and lack of travel and high life. In the forefront of the season was Braunwyn's challenge of quitting booze and claiming to be an alcoholic, while fan's and cast alike doubt Braunwyn's so called truth. Shannon is finally called out for drunk dialing her castmates in the late hours of the night and making it seem like she and John have a dysfunctional relationship whiich ironically is the SAME behavior Shannon had while married to David. Emily is the only one with the real storyline with Sean nearly dying of COVID and spending 9 days in the Hospital seemed to forget all of that at the end, and for me that's deserves some attention! WTF Salt Lake City seems to have a tight Socialite Circle that it's becoming apparent Jen Shaw wants to be a part of and hold a close position to Lisa and Meredith and Heather and Whitney want Jen to realize that she's not getting what's she's giving when it comes to the Snob twins, yeah I said it. This episode is Jen's redemption and she's projecting it all back on everyone around her. Time will tell where she ends up but if she keeps it up she's going to end up alone because it's quite clear Meredith and Lisa aren't standing or will be standing by her side. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/bravo-low-down/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/bravo-low-down/support
This week, Sara and Rosalinda continue talking about the Jen Shaw party shenanigans because nothing says housewife party like multiple showdowns. They try to wrap up the Mary Cosby and Jen Shaw fight and channel their inner "zen Jen" to analyze the Whitney x Lisa confrontation. They then go on to talk about Whitney's father's lucrative haircare business and whether reading someone's phone is really "transparency." Finally, they round out the episode to talk about the thumbs up controversy and pitch why VIDA tequila should sponsor them.Follow us on all of our socials:Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJZaucK6j4_McwQQkMq3yqgTwitter: https://twitter.com/metgalaluncheonInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/metgalaluncheon/Don't forget to subscribe and leave a review!

Today on the podcast we’re discussing an odd (and a little bit icky) proverb that has to do with dogs and vomit and the temptation to repeat the same mistakes over and over. Our guest, Jen Shaw, is a biological, adoptive and foster mama. She advocates on behalf of multiple state-dependent children and serves as a point person for foster and adoptive families at the church her husband pastors at-Cornwall Church in Bellingham, WA. Basically, she’s superwoman. Today Jen shares some hilarious stories from her adventures parenting 8 kiddos, and she drops incredible wisdom on the idea of getting to the internal root of our external behaviors.
This week we have a raw, emotional chat about what it takes to have a dream and a vision that no-one can see but you as we sit with Jen Shaw and Sherry McDowell at Emerge Youth Hub and Emerge Cafe which is a social enterprise in Toowoomba that is seriously changing the conversation around youth homelessness. You can get on board with Emerge or just stay up to date at their website: http://www.emergecafe.com.au See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Today we feel very lucky to have Jen Shaw on the show, who is the founder of Emerge, an incredible social impact project. Emerge is a mobile food van, that employs disengaged children. Teaching them to cook, clean and serve customers, along with learning many other life skills. These children face incredible hardship in their lives, but with the help of the food van, they are given hope and much needed skills to set them up for the future. Holistic focus and sustainable funding streams Jen loves helping those in her program to discover how incredible real food can be, and how it can help with overall health and wellbeing, particularly their mental health. She teaches the importance of cooking a meal from scratch, while blending a holistic approach, including the elements of food, physical fitness, goal setting and self-esteem. Empowering kids to make their own empowering choices on eating Jen shows these kids how to make a basic fried rice, bolognaise with plenty of veggies, simple salads and why it is easier to batch make meals. The bottom line is, some of the best things these kids can learm is a simple approach to food, and meals that make you feel good mentally and emotionally. It's all about exposure to this way of life, and building their knowledge base to healthy eating. Jen focuses on replicating a loving family and home environment. These kids have survived the worst of the worst and are still standing at the end of the day. Their resilience is simply mind-boggling, as they are truly survivors with so many skills to cope (even without degrees under their belt). They are full of incredible ideas about the future and show great promise in fulfilling their dreams. Not everything in life is about money. Success can be measured by the people you help and the good do in the world. If that's the case then my guest today, Jen Shaw, is as successful as you could ever be. She's going all in on a new venture called Emerge. The sound wasn't great on this one and I apologise for that as I was out of town and recording this one in a hotel room but there's still some great value here.
