The 12 PM Hour of the K&C Masterpiece!
This week is a special treat for me. My children, Josiah and Tatiana were able to share their heart and insight of how to overcome disconnecting with God. The best part of listening to this episode is that I get the gift of hearing all that they believe and what they have been taught. My children teach me. Listen in with a parent's heart and as a believer that is looking for practical tips to stay connected to God. This is Gen Z. As we hear the worlds' influence on our generations - know that this is a reminder that they are good ground and they “get it”. They answered 3 questions: What do you do when you feel like you are out of sync with God?Why is our response to disappointment or dissatisfaction typically doubt? How do you stay encouraged when you are waiting on God?Keep Believing and Listening.. Your Story Matters Until next time,
There was SO much to talk about last week that we needed a PART 2! (If you have not already listened to this episode, we encourage you to go back and hear the truths we share.) In Part 2 we're carrying on this conversation! When you rest in and trust in the presence, power, provision, and promises of God it leads to... PEACE, PRAISE, and PERSEVERANCE! We hope and pray that through listening you will be encouraged to...Keep PERSEVERING.Keep BELIEVING.Keep PRAYING & PRAISING. Keep TRUSTING GOD. Keep LIVING. Tho the promise tarry….wait for it! If God said It, then believe for it, He will do it. Remember the Words Spoken Over YOU! Don't forget! God is not slow concerning His promises. 2 Peter 3:1-9. (NASB) 1 This is now, beloved, the second letter I am writing to you in which I am stirring up your sincere MIND by way of reminder, 2 that you should remember the WORDS spoken beforehand by the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior spoken by your apostles. Isaiah 55:9-10 New American Standard Bible 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts. 10 For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it produce and sprout, And providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11 So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, All that I have said will come to pass!

Greetings, Leaders. Think about your vision for life and career. How are you progressing? What are some of those accomplishments on your pathway? Write the vision. Make it plain so that the one who reads it may run! Be outcome-focused on your vision coming to fruition! Someone said, "The vision is for an appointed time. Though the vision tarries, wait for it. It will surely come!" Someone once said, "We become what we think about most of the time, and as a person thinks, so they are." Whatever you think about the most will grow, so the more the mind cycles and moves with a particular thought, the stronger it grows, leading to transformation. So guard your thinking. Fix your thoughts on what is true, honorable, right and pure and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Recall and reflect. Remember when it seemed impossible for you to overcome some obstacle or receive the desired outcome? The two attributes that come to mind are "faith" and "perseverance' - You did not quit. You did not give up! You kept the faith! "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for the conviction of things not yet seen." Don't stop believing! Keep focusing moment by moment, day by day, on your vision. Sometimes, no progress occurs, but trust the process; things are moving. Focus your thinking. Do not allow yourself to conform to the world's patterns but be transformed by renewing your mind into the leader you envision. Testing our faith-producing perseverance, let perseverance have its perfect work so that you may be complete, lacking nothing - fully equipped for the opportunities ahead. Keep serving and growing where you are now. "Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love." Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Seasons are providentially sent and have a set time to accomplish their purpose. Our life and career journey are similar. We encounter setbacks, trials, and storms. Why do we need these events? Why can't we read them in a book and pass the test? It's for our good. Our character is revealed and developed in testing. Once tested and passed, we will only know what we can do and who we are. When we win, everyone benefits - you, your family, clients, colleagues, the team, and the nation. Regardless of your circumstances, keep the faith and your vision. Persevere in all seasons of life and career. You will gain new strength, soar on wings like eagles, run and not be weary, walk and not faint. So, my friends. Keep believing! You are making progress and impacting for good as you go. Please remember this saying, "All things are possible to the one who is believing." "One person with the belief is greater than ninety-nine with only a casual interest." It is said, "According to your faith be it done unto you." Together we are better. Let us, please, continue in our commitment to walk by faith and not by sight. Commitment precedes power! Victory!

NOTES: While he was still speaking to her, messengers arrived from the home of Jairus, the leader of the synagogue. They told him, “Your daughter is dead. There's no use troubling the Teacher now.” But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, “Don't be afraid. Just have faith.” Then Jesus stopped the crowd and wouldn't let anyone go with him except Peter, James, and John (the brother of James). When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw much commotion and weeping and wailing. He went inside and asked, “Why all this commotion and weeping? The child isn't dead; she's only asleep.” The crowd laughed at him. But he made them all leave, and he took the girl's father and mother and his three disciples into the room where the girl was lying. Holding her hand, he said to her, “Talitha koum,” which means “Little girl, get up!” And the girl, who was twelve years old, immediately stood up and walked around! They were overwhelmed and totally amazed. Jesus gave them strict orders not to tell anyone what had happened, and then he told them to give her something to eat. Mark 5:35–43 (NLT) Jesus will not be HURRIED. Jesus EXCEEDS our EXPECTATIONS. If God always met your expectations, He'd never have a chance to exceed them. IGNORE those who tell you to GIVE UP. REFUSE FEAR. Keep BELIEVING. BOTTOM LINE: Jesus can take you from fear to faith. THE CHALLENGE: It's time to get up.
Sometimes we doubt God's promises when we don't see them come to pass right away. I can tell you that I have had prophetic words spoken over me that I'm still waiting for. AND I can tell you it is super discouraging and honestly disappointing when they don't come right away or in the timing I would like.. BUT a lot of that came because I was expecting things or desiring things and they didn't happen when i thought they should… and some didn't happen at all. I've had to learn to trust that God is in control and that He has my best interest at heart! And guess what when I lean into this belief there is such peace in the waiting!Ways we are discouraged and how to combat them!1) Wrong expectations- When we start believing something is going to happen in our own timing or hoping our prayers will be answered a certain way, WE set ourselves up for disappointment because we aren't pressing into God and HIS plan for whatever the circumstance may be. We are putting our situations on our own timeline…and honestly putting God in a box. The things God can do are so outside of our normal, and way beyond our understanding! So what do we do?We try to keep him in a safe place and in our control lol Cause when we have control we know what will happen(good or bad) right?. If we keep Him small the chance of disappointment is small. But honestly this gives us a false sense of safety… do you understand what I mean? Here is some scripture to help you with trust today. Speak it out and reaffirm God's truth in your heart and mind as you believe in His word! Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in teh land and prosper. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires. Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him, and He will help you. Ps 37:3-52)Fear Fear can literally cripple us. And alot of our control issues, that we talked about before, are stemmed from fear. Being afraid of losing control. Being afraid of the unexpected. Being afraid of being disappointed. When we are let down(or it doesn't happen the way we were anticipating) we put up walls to keep us from from being hurt or disappointed again. Better to not hope for anything than to be let down right? Speak out God's word- it is our sword right? Best weapon of choice! this specific scripture out anytime you feel fear creeping in- 2 Timothy 1:7- God has not given me the spirit of fear but of power, love and sound mindThere is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.1 john 4:18Listen, disappointment is inevitable but that doens't mean God isn't faithful or true to His word. His ways are higher and He is God. He didn't call us to have a perfect life. He just called us to trust, serve and live for Him. When we do this we can live a FULL life with joy!
