Latvian duo Taran & Lomov present 'Semper Supra' – their debut LP on their own label Amber Muse; a refined and accomplish long player that showcases the tip of an iceberg patiently built across two dedicated and long-spanning careers in the music industry. Together, the pair have managed to earn the coveted stripes of 'jack of many, master of many' across a fruitful and symbiotic 20 years. They've turned their hands to promotion, production, remixing, radio hosting, music journalism and DJing. At this point, they have a gilded resume that includes support for their releases from the likes of Jane Fitz and Laurent Garnier, releases on W&O Street Tracks, Josh Wink's Ovum Recordings and Dense & Pika's Kneaded Pains as Queer On Acid and of course – their basecamp – the Amber Muse Radio show. Musically, 'Semper Supra' is a genre-flexing trip with its roots in early 2000s Minimal and late 90s Electronica. 9 tracks bearing flecks of influence from labels like Time Passages, Perlon and Warp as well as artists such as Black Dog, Metamatics, Binh and Jan Jelenik meld in a head-twisting brew - one that caters to listeners on any point in the spectrum between after-hours raver to armchair astronaut. The glue in the record is the subtly haunting energy omitted by the synths, sweeps and atmospherics that course through the album. The spectral glow these conjure hangs gently over a variety of bpms and intensities, keepings things suffused in a dubby fog that gives a living, breathing sense of space and atmosphere. Case and point being 'Nano Crab' - a patient, frosty recording that stacks energy in subtly folding layers of mangled, otherworldly signals and primal rhythms. 'Slow East' follows up with a skeletal Electro track that oozes with an ominous mood often clocked in Nicolas Lutz's extended sets. The warped robotics and cold sonics of 'Slickers' are given life and mobility via groove and clever sequencing while 'Corp' whips up into a more frenzied zone. Alarm tones burnt and bit crushed while drums move with the sort of urgency required for boiling point dance floors before the title track provides an allaying landing pad as it scatters pin-prick melodies across a wide, icy soundscape. ambermuse.com/taran-lomov-bio facebook.com/TaranLomov ra.co/dj/taranlomov soundcloud.com/ambermuse facebook.com/AmberMuseRec instagram.com/ambermuserec

Nicola Loporchio is a producer and DJ, born and based in Bari, South Italy... In late 2008 he gave life to one of his most famous projects, Nico Lahs, immediately attracting the attention of some of the best electronic music outputs in the underground scene. It didn’t take long for some well-known and respected labels to notice him and, indeed, in 2010 he signed an EP on 8bit Records and since then his career has been steadily on the rise: in 2011 his first EP with Josh Wink's Ovum Recordings, another one in 2012 and, in the same year, also his first EP on Steve Bug’s Poker Flat, to finally come back on Ovum in 2014. During those years, he touched base in some of the most prestigious electronic music clubs around the world such as Cable, Sankeys, Club der Visionaere, Globus/Tresor, KaterHolzig, Weekend and Rex Club, just to name a few. Here he serves up a delicious hour of deep cuts, taking in work from artists such as Marcellus Pittman, Hanna, Carl Criag and Kevin Yost... to name a few. Sit back, sip a cognac and burn one down to this... it's smooooooth. Artist: @nico-lahs

Recorded Live From East Ender Park @ Barcelona Luca Bacchetti : Not unhumorously hailing from the small Tuscan town of Lucca, Luca Bacchetti is one of the foremost proponents of the seminal swing sound coming from the peninsula and abroad. Currently residing in Barcelona, the DJ, producer and co-label head makes swift business of spreading his signature twists and musical turns through myriad productions and remixes released on Ovum Recordings, Wagon Repair, Supernature, Be As One, Tenax, Safari Electronique, Sci+Tec and of course, Hideout. Additionally, he's accrued a host of accolades including a nod for Beatport's Best Artist in 2008 that confirms Luca's status as an industry leader. As a DJ, Bacchetti's style is incomparable, showcasing his unique ear for selection and rare ‘voice' to which he adds a sexiness uncommon amongst his peers. Equally versed at moving a dark basement club to fits of revelry as he is to casting a deep shadow across a sunny beach party, the breadth and depth of sources from which Luca culls his sets astounds constantly. It is this duality of emotion that interests the DJ and inspires the work on many releases, specifically his last – The Endless Summer. The contrasting shades of Luca's sound have not been lost on the world's clubbing masses. International tours regularly bring his performances to the five continents and to the best clubs and festivals from Berlin to New York to Sydney, Ibiza and Tokyo.. www.theterracepodcast.com
Also für EUCH! habt Spass dabei!
