Na območju parka Zdravilišča RKS Debeli rtič, raste več kot 200 različnih rastlinskih vrst s preko 4000 primerki iglavcev, listavcev, grmovnic in trajnic. Posaditev dreves je bila v preteklosti že ena izmed dejavnosti, ki so jih v zdravilišču izpeljali ob dnevu Zemlje. Letošnje otroške delavnice, namenjene ozaveščanju pomena vremena in morja, so nastale v sodelovanju z Morsko biološko postajo Piran, Pedagoško fakulteto Univerze na Primorskem in Agencijo za okolje, ki je postavila didaktično vremensko postajo, s katero bodo otroci lahko spoznavali vremenske pojave. O zanimivem dogajanju na kopališču, kjer so z učenci izpeljali tudi čistilno akcijo, v tokratni oddaji Morje in mi.

Dunajski dvor je na začetku aprila 1875 izdal zakon, s katerim je natančno predpisal ukrepe proti širjenju trtne uši, ki so jo vinogradniki prinesli v Evropo z uvozom sadik ameriških vrst trte. Na vinogradniškem inštitutu v Klosterneuburgu pri Dunaju so junija 1880 potrdili pojav trtne uši na vzorcu, ki so jim ga poslali iz občine Piran. Takoj so izkrčili skoraj 130.000 trsov, zemljo pa razkužili z ogljikovim sulfidom. Trtna uš je v nekaj letih skoraj v celoti uničila prvotno evropsko vinogradništvo, ki se je pozneje obnovilo z izdatno državno podporo sajenju cepljenih vinskih trt, kar je ostala praksa vse do današnjih dni.

Piše Veronika Šoster, bereta Višnja Fičor in Aleksander Golja. Knjižna zbirka Sončnice že vrsto let prinaša sveže pesniške pristope, zelo različne glasove, poetike in občutja. Na videz drobna knjižica Favnovo popoldne izjemno plodovitega ustvarjalca Andreja Medveda, sicer pesnika, esejista, filozofa, urednika, prevajalca in umetniškega vodje Obalnih galerij Piran, si zasluži vso pozornost, saj je presunljiva in zgoščena v najmanjši atom izdihanega zraka. Kot vedno se je pri branju Medvedove poezije dobro čim bolj seznaniti z aluzijami, navezavami, pokloni in navdihi. Že naslov zbirke Favnovo popoldne prinaša pravo zakladnico zgodovine in kulture. Favn je bil v rimski mitologiji bog polj in gozdov, upodobljen kot človek s kozjimi nogami, lahko bi rekli, da je rimska različica grškega satira. Navdihnil je mnoge, med drugim francoskega simbolista Stéphana Mallarméja, ki je leta 1876 napisal pesem z naslovom Favnovo popoldne. Tu se zgodba vplivov ne konča, saj je osemnajst let pozneje skladatelj Claude Debussy na podlagi pesnitve napisal skladbo z istim naslovom. Mallarmé je bil do poskusa najprej zadržan, saj naj bi že poezija dovolj zazvenela, ko pa je Debussyjevo desetminutno stvaritev slišal v živo, mu je poslal precej občudujočo zahvalo. Medvedova knjiga tako, že preden jo odpremo, nagovarja in vabi v posebno vzdušje, ki naj bi bilo popoldne nekega mitološkega bitja. Vendar ne ostane le pri tem. Knjiga se takoj razprši na razne pomenske konce in kraje in nas že s prvim verzom povabi v prazne, zapuščene prostore. Posvečena je deklici Danki Ilić, katere tragična zgodba še vedno ni dobila zaključka. Medved tako hipoma ustvari močan kontrast med nežno sanjavo glasbo in tragičnimi usodami, kar je pravzaprav tudi srž vsake mitologije. Vsebinskemu kontrastu sledi tudi vizualni, saj se pesmi razdrobijo v zelo nenavadno obliko – skoraj vsaka stran v knjigi prinaša tri verze zgoraj in tri verze spodaj, na sredi pa med njimi zeva velikanska praznina. So to prostori, ki smo jih zapustili, ki so zapustili nas? Se med njimi giba favnova senca? Tudi Medvedovo Favnovo popoldne lahko beremo kot enotno stvaritev, ki pa se napaja iz raznih virov. Gre za poezijo, ki jo je neizmerno težko ujeti v opise, saj se dogaja na obrobju zavesti, med stikom neba in zemlje, ki sta ves čas povezana v svoji usodnosti. Podobe so po eni strani neverjetno trpke, stroge, hladne, krute, po drugi pa mehkobno svetle, nežne, čutne. Medved izumlja svoj jezik, jezik iz zemlje, če si sposodim Zajčevo sintagmo (a ne kar naključno, že na začetku knjige naletimo na podobo kepe iz pepela). To je jezik, ki rožlja in se krotoviči, ki nas ne izpusti iz svojega primeža od prve do zadnje vrstice: »[…] in kot svetlobni prti, ki skrijejo obrazne maske … Kot majhni krti iz telesne plazme se skrijejo neznansko majhni škrati v krvi, kot pivnik v laske in kot tipalke v žrdi … Kot mokra ptica v dlani, stopljena klica v izprani raztopini, v nebesni kani … Kam so izginile listnate role? V sladke, presladke šamrole? So se razblinile v znitkane pole? V kepi iz ust in žrela? V pust občutek po piku kraljevskega žela? V tekoči, lepljivi vodik, v plinaste cisterne?« Andrej Medved se poigrava tako s pomeni in navezavami kot s samimi besedami, pa naj gre na ravni zvočnosti besed, kot tudi na ravni skrite notranje rime, ki ni stalna, zato je ne moremo pričakovati in se ne izpoje, ko pa se pojavi, se zdi kot osji pik, kot trska, kot sončni žarek med listjem. Tako je zbirka tesno zvezana tudi na besedni in zvočni ravni. Iz vsakega verza bi lahko izluščili mnogo skritih pomenov, a včasih je bolje, da se prepustimo toku Favnovega popoldneva, da nas ponese skozi tisočletja in spet nazaj, v današnje prazne prostore, ki še kako odmevajo. Po tonu se zdi, da gre za nagovor oziroma dialog z bralcem, pesniški subjekt se ves čas obrača na nekoga, pri tem pa uporablja primerjave, da bi opisal, kar doživlja in opazi okrog sebe. Vpraša nas, če lebdimo v popoldnevu favna, in res se zdi, da se v trenutku odlepimo od tal in se še bolj prepustimo toku poezije, ki je polna mitoloških podob, zgodovine, umetnosti, pa tudi čisto vsakdanjih podob sveta. Vsako novo vprašanje nas postavlja pred dilemo, pred željo po odgovoru in obenem hlepenju po nadaljevanju v ritmu, ki ne jenja: »Si kdaj pomislil na vzhajajočo / luno, ki v ožarčenem sfumatu skriva / plašč grenkobe, ki se zajeda v tvoje čelo in ramena, / brez polti in črnih turov?« Kot se pred favnom razprostre popoldne, se pred pesniškim govorcem razprostre vsemirje, ki ga lovi v verze, kjer bi se vsaj malo ustalilo, ustavilo, umirilo. Hoče videti, kako zraste vrt, kako se zaspi na dlaki jazbeca, kako brizgne kri, kako se zbudi jutro, kako se žrejo oblaki in se podirajo stolpi. Pri tem spraševanju niti malo ne prosi za pozornost, saj je naslovnik vprašanj lahko kar on sam, ali pa so namenjena le tihemu odzvanjanju v zavesti, med sanjami. Proti koncu knjige se večkrat vrine njegov bežni medklic na vsa ta vprašanja, 'ne vedel bi, a vendar vem', ki še bolj priča o vseobsegajočih možnostih, ki jih odpira. Gre za poezijo, ki se ji moramo prepustiti, s katero moramo odplavati v neskončno dolgo popoldne. In postati, kot pravi zadnji verz knjige: »Kot nebo brez konca.«

7. marca l.1991 je Slovenija še kot del bivše države sprejela resolucijo o pomorski usmeritvi, ob mednarodnem dnevu žena, 8.marca l. 2021 pa je muzejska svetnica Pomorskega muzeja Sergej Mašera v Piranu, zgodovinarka dr. Nadja Terčon zaradi omejitev druženja ob epidemiji kovida po internetu predstavila monografijo z naslovom Sava in Jolanda. Gre za prvi šolani slovenski in hkrati takrat tudi jugoslovanski pomorščakinji, ki sta se kot prvi ženski l.1947 in leto kasneje vpisali v takrat ustanovljeno pomorsko šolo v coni B pod jugoslovansko vojaško upravo. Sava Kaluža (1929-2014) iz Postojne in Jolanda Gruden (1930-2014) iz Nabrežine pri Trstu sta v svoja življenja krepko vpletli vlogo morja. Avtorica je na temelju arhivskega gradiva napisala zgodbo o povojnem emancipacijskem projektu, ki povzema tudi izjemen razvoj slovenskega pomorstva in zapreke, ki so v tako tradicionalno moškem poklicu čakale dve pogumni mladi ženski. Nadja Terčon že nekaj desetletij raziskuje novejšo zgodovino pomorstva, l. 2015 je izšla njena obsežna monografija (416 str. in 150 fot.) "Usidrali smo se na morje" z zgodbo o vzpostavitvi slovenskega pomorstva v obdobju od 1945 do 1958. Hkrati pa to delo zapolnjuje premalo znane okoliščine vztrajnosti pri nastanku Luke Koper, in s sodobno istrsko zgodbo o tem predvsem državotvornem dejanju vzpostavljanja pomorske narave države tako dopolnjuje kulturno-zgodovinske prikaze bogate preteklosti slovenskih ribičev v Tržaškem zalivu kapitana iz Trsta Bruna Volpija Lisjaka. Morski travniki in podvodni gozdički so pomembni vodni ekosistemi, od katerih so odvisni številni morski organizmi. Utrip življenja je v slovenskem morju je tudi zaradi njih pestrejši, kot bi si morda mislili, in še vedno lahko preseneti celo strokovnjake. A obenem se danes tudi tu močno čuti pritisk podnebnih sprememb in človeka. Kako se vse to pokaže na podvodnem življenju, na morskih cvetnicah in talnih, betoških algah, je v Podobah znanja predstavila priznana morska biologinja dr. Martina Orlando Bonaca, ki na Morski biološki postaji Piran vodi enoto za morsko biodiverziteto, še zlasti pa se posveča ohranjanju in obnovi ogroženih vrst rjavih alg. Za svoje delo je nedavno prejela nagrado Miroslava Zeia za izjemne dosežke.

Morsko ihtiologijo je v slovenskem govornem območju utemeljil mednarodno priznani biolog Miroslav Zei (1914-2006), sodobno »piko na i« pa sta ji s še svežo izdajo knjige »Osnove morske ihtiologije« postavila raziskovalca z Morske biološke postaje Piran v sklopu Nacionalnega inštituta za biologijo, prof.dr. Lovrenc Lipej in dr. Domen Trkov. Slednji je v stavbi raziskovalne postaje v naš mikrofon povzel temeljne prvine razumevanja ekologije morskega življa, predvsem rib kot njegovih najbolj izrazitih predstavnikov, o katerih navsezadnje govori samo delo, namenjeno tistim, ki hočejo na strokoven način spoznavati svet morskih rib. Poročali smo o jeseniški občini, ki je v novo leto vstopila brez sprejetega proračuna, prenovi in nadzidavi Zdravstvenega doma Ljutomer, začetku gradnje komunalne infrastrukture v Poslovni coni Hrastje, ureditvi meditativnega parka pri minoritih v Piranu in o jaslicah za dobrodelne namene v Škofijah.

Danes v Svetu kulture napovedujemo premiero zvočne igre Pogovori v hiši Karlstein, ki smo jo pripravili na programu Ars skupaj s Škuc gledališčem. Zvočni igri boste lahko prisluhnili nocoj ob 20ih. Obiskali smo tudi razstavo Ganija Llaloshija z naslovom Nostalgija, ki je na ogled v Mestni galeriji Piran. V oddaji tudi ščepec sodobnega plesa.

Izpostavljamo tri prevodna dela, ki so pred kratkim izšla pri Cankarjevi založbi. Med slovenske bralce v prevodu Jedrt Maležič prihaja tretji del trilogije z naslovom Vernon Subutex Virginie Despentes. Alex Capus je švicarski pisatelj, ki piše v nemščini, njegov roman Susanna je prevedla Mojca Kranjc. V zbirki S poti pa je izšla knjiga ameriškega pisatelja Edmunda Whitea z naslovom Pohajalec s podnaslovom Sprehod po pariških paradoksih. V oddaji predstavljamo tudi zgodbe in likovna dela iz depojev Obalnih galerij Piran, razstavo Miscellanea, ki so jo odprli v koprski Galeriji Loža ter zbirko kratkih zgodb z naslovom Gnezda Jerneje Ferlež.

In einer der engen Gassen befindet sich das Atelier Duka. In die Fußstapfen ihrer Mutter ist Jerneja Šorel geschlüpft und fertigt hier in großer Leidenschaft Keramik mit vielen Motiven der Stadt. Über ihre Lieblingsorte und die Farben von Piran erzählt uns die Handwerkerin. Istrien steht für Genuß, den wir natürlich auch nicht außen vor lassen wollen. Direkt an der Grenze zu Kroatien gelegen befindet sich der Bauernhof Mahnič mit dem Blick auf die Salinen, das Meer und das nahe Dorf Kaštel. Hier treffen wir Ingrid Mahnič, die als slowenische Weinkönigin bezeichnet wird,  auch als Königin der Malvazija“. Mit ihr sprechen über grenzenlosen Rebensaft auf der istrischen Halbinsel. Ihrem Sohn Nik Mahnič schauen wir beim Grappa-Brennen über die Schulter. Auf eine Reise zur Fonda Fish Farm in der Meeresbucht vor der kroatischen Grenze nimmt uns Gorazd Šinik mit. Von ihm erfahren wir viel über das Ökosystem in der Adria. Viel Spaß im mediterranen Slowenien!

12. oktobra je minilo deset let od smrti, 30. julija letos pa osemdeset let od rojstva v Mežici rojenega slikarja, grafika, tudi profesorja na ljubljanski ALUO Lojzeta Logarja. Pozornost likovne javnosti je vzbudil konec 60. in v začetku 70. let prejšnjega stoletja z deli, ki so se spogledovala s popartom in jih likovna kritika uvršča v slovensko različico poparta, poimenovano nova figuralika. Pozneje je prehodil še druge ustvarjalne faze. Približal se je konceptualizmu, nato radikalnemu ekspresionizmu, v osemdesetih je sledilo obdobje minimalizma črnih slik, ki jih je pozneje nasledila bogato koloristična serija slik in grafik Davidovi vrtovi, za katero je Logar prejel tudi nagrado Prešernovega sklada leta 1987. V devetdesetih se je nato premaknil v monokromne, geometrijsko zasnovane kompozicije v seriji Intermezzozoik, ob koncu življenja pa prešel k drobnim risbam, velikim le od 10 do 20 centimetrov, ki jih je z barvnimi svinčniki risal po črnem papirju. Poimenoval jih je Angeli. V letih 2020 in 2021 so se štiri ustanove – Koroška galerija likovnih umetnosti, Galerija Murska Sobota, Obalne galerije Piran in Galerija ZDSLU – povezale in vsaka je pripravila razstavo in v ospredje postavila izbrano poglavje Logarjevega opusa, ki je s tem doživel res celotno predstavitev. V oddaji Likovni odmevi pa vam ob priložnosti obletnice tokrat prinašamo misli samega Lojzeta Logarja. Maja Žel Nolda je krajši pogovor z njim posnela leta 1996, ko je Logar svoja dela, ustvarjena od leta 1967 do leta 1996, predstavljal v Mednarodnem grafičnem likovnem centru v Ljubljani.

For this year's first Spooktober episode, we fly off to Cornwall! St. Piran's Church in Cornwall has a rather strange legend tied to it called the "Tale of the Teeth." The story goes that during a renovation of the church, a small box of human teeth was discovered buried under the floor. Each tooth had been carefully wrapped in fabric, with initials and dates attached. The mystery deepened as there were no records or explanations for why they were there. Prebivalci Slovenije spadajo med tiste v Evropski uniji, ki pojedo najmanj rib, le Madžari so za nami zadnji. Lokalna akcijska skupina Istra iz Obale je že pred leti sprožila pobudo o trajnostnem ribištvu, ozaveščanju o nabavi v lokalnem morju ulovljenih rib, in še več, o boljšem spoznavanju za prehrano primernih jadranskih rib. V njem se le lovi okrog 70 vrst rib, večina ljudi pa povečini poleti na dopustu obeduje ali pripravlja le nekaj izbranih. Več o sami pobudi nam je po predstavitvi projekta v Fornačah pred dvema letoma povedala tamkajšna biologinja. Gre za dr. Andrejo Ramšak iz Morske biološke postaje Piran, sestavnem delu Nacionalnega inštituta za biologijo. Uvodoma je v pogovoru opisala projekt »Dobro za morje – dobro zame«.

Tartini, der eigentlich Priester werden sollte, gründete das, was man heute die italienische Violinschule nennt mit markanten Verbindungen bis hin zu Nicolo Paganini. Gibt die Sonate noch heute teuflisch knifflige Schwierigkeiten auf? Und wenn ja, wo liegen sie genau? In der Violinstimme oder vielleicht eher in der Art der Begleitung? Le travail y est manuel, sans apport de produits chimiques. Le bar issu de cet élevage est plébiscité par les grands chefs. Mais la crise est passée par là.« Les fermes artisanales comme celle-ci disparaissent une à une face à la concurrence industrielle. La nourriture pour les poissons a énormément augmenté, nos marges sont devenues insignifiantes. Les petites poissonneries qui vendaient nos produits ont presque toutes disparu après le Covid. La grosse distribution tire les prix vers le bas. Pas moyen de négocier avec elle. Or, un bar a besoin de deux à quatre ans pour grandir. » Pour survivre, la quadragénaire dynamique vend à l'étranger.Le tourisme et les services ont remplacé la pêcheSur la côte, le secteur touristique et les services ont le vent en poupe, au détriment des activités traditionnelles comme la pêche, explique Iztok Škerlič, directeur de l'Agence de développement économique basée à Izola.« Seules cinq ou sept usines de transformation de poissons subsistent, alors qu'elles étaient plus d'une centaine. Quelques fermes d'élevage de crustacés exportent vers l'Italie et la Croatie. Mais de petites poissonneries ont du mal à tenir debout. Ces PME souvent familiales n'ont pas pu bénéficier du plan de soutien d'après-Covid, comme leurs homologues touristiques. Ce n'est pas bien, car l'aquaculture et la pisciculture durables sont les secteurs d'avenir face à la raréfaction des ressources marines. »Tout un système à reconstruireJerneja Penca, à la tête de l'Institut méditerranéen pour la recherche en environnement, acquiesce : « Ces petites exploitations d'aquaculture permettent de réduire les chaînes de valeur, diversifier les produits, privilégier leur saisonnalité. Elles tentent de créer leurs marques. Des initiatives qui se servent d'au moins un de ces leviers existent en Slovénie, mais aussi autour du bassin méditerranéen. C'est comme cela que ces structures deviendront viables et bénéficieront aux communautés locales. Piranska Punta, piranski svetilnik, Rt Madona. Katero od teh treh imen je pravo? Pirančani pravijo, da uporabljajo vsa tri imena, s tem da ko rečejo Punta, mislijo na ves polotok. Ko pa rečejo grem do svetilnika ali na Rt Madona, pa je jasno, da so mislili točno določeno točko na Punti. To sestavlja kompleks stavb, ki so nekaj posebnega, lepo oblikovanega in načrtovanega. Vse skupaj ima dolgo in zanimivo zgodbo. Tu je namreč svetilnik, ki je del nekdanjega obrambnega stolpa, ki je bil del srednjeveškega piranskega obzidja. Del kompleksa stavb je tudi srednjeveška cerkev Marije zdravja. Svetilnik je dobil današnjo podobo v 19. stoletju. Sestavljata ga osmerokotni kamniti stolp in hišica s stanovanjem za svetilničarja. Ta je tu bival do leta 1976, pozneje pa so nekaj časa tu ustvarjali umetniki, med njimi tudi kipar Janez Lenassi. Piransko Punto bomo spoznali v oddaji Sledi časa, njen avtor je Milan Trobič.

Že vrsto let smo priča spreminjanju središč mest, ki se predvsem kaže v načrtnem spreminjanju prebivalstva središč iz nižjega v višje sloje. To se načrtno dogaja v Ljubljani, temu pa se ne morejo izogniti niti obalna mesta. Tam gre predvsem za prilagajanje ponudbe izključno turistom ali pa celo, da se stanovanja v historičnih delih mest prodajajo tako imenovanim vikendašem, kar pomeni, da je poleti predvsem na obalnih predelih velika obremenitev, pozimi pa so to mesta duhov. Eno takšnih primerov je mesto Piran - na vseprisotnost turistične gentrifikacije so nas opozorili dijaki gimnazije z italijanskim učnim jezikom Antonia Seme v Portorožu, zato se je Frekvenca X tokrat odpravila na terensko debato na Obalo.Celotni okrogli mizi lahko prisluhnete tukaj.
