Schandmaul, the iconic German folk rock band, are back with their brand-new album, ‘Sternensegler', out now via Napalm Records. It is their first album with Till Herence on vocals with Thomas Lindner switching to instruments instead. A big change, but one masterfully handled. Schandmaul are looking forward, but in doing so, make sure that their extensive listener base comes along for the ride too. All with a set of new tracks that exemplify their creativity, ability to adapt, and desire to remain undeniably anthemic. Norwegian hard rockers Audrey Horne have released their eighth studio album, ‘Achilles', out via Napalm Records. Big riffs, powerful melodies, soaring vocals, and tons of hard rock energy that combines classic 70s and 80s influences into something notably substantial and cinematic sounding. Yet, it's not without experimentation and, in an interesting twist, has a rawer edge that seeps through and gives it a ‘live' feel. On May 8th, 2026, IATT returned with their most immersive and conceptually daring work to date, Etheric Realms of the Night, released through Black Lion Records. The album unfolds as a continuous narrative that explores the fragile boundary between sleep and oblivion, consciousness and illusion, life and whatever waits beyond it. Accompanying the album is a full companion film that visually realises the narrative behind the music. Presented as a continuous sequence of interconnected videos, the film follows a young woman struggling with insomnia who turns to sleeping pills in search of rest. As the story unfolds, she is drawn deeper into a dream world where the boundary between hallucination and reality collapses. Each chapter mirrors the psychological descent heard in the album, moving through sleep paralysis, night terrors, and encounters with mysterious dream entities before culminating in a haunting final transformation. Designed to be experienced alongside the record, the film expands Etheric Realms of the Night into a unified audiovisual journey where music, symbolism, and story move together. In this interview, we spoke to rhythm guitarist Alec Pezzano about the film, the album, exploring new creative directions for IATT, growing the band, playing live, and so much more. Black Spikes, the avant-garde alternative metal band from Lithuania, return with their brand-new album (and first for Napalm Records), ‘Ydos', on August 28th, 2026. While it might not be a country that immediately comes to mind when thinking of modern European alternative metal, Lithuania can proudly boast that it has produced Black Spikes, one of the most exciting heavy bands heard in a while. In this interview, we chatted to lead vocalist Agni about the new album, the journey the band has been on to make it a reality, how they explore their artistry in different ways, getting their music heard outside of their home country, working with a label like Napalm, and so much more. LUGOSi is a punk-hardcore band that has established itself in just a few years as a staple of the Parisian underground scene. Drawing from post-hardcore, noise-rock and screamo, its five members unleash a unique intensity — both musical and emotional — driven by raw, sharp-edged lyrics. Their second album, 'The Scars', is due out on September 18th, 2026. A visceral album, addressing both political and personal themes. It explores memory, trauma, and powerlessness, but also the surges of solidarity and hope that help us endure an increasingly violent world. In this interview, we chatted to lead vocalist Pieriv and bassist/keyboardist/vocalist Arthur about the new album, and much more. Like so many great stories in the running community, So Far So Good Run Club started with an idea shared on a long trail run. Greg Hanycz had an idea, and somewhere out on the trails with Brock Fraser, that idea started to take shape. With the help of a few key people, So Far So Good Run Club was born. Talk to anyone who's run with So Far So Good and they'll tell you the same thing: it's people and vibes first, performance second. Sure, there are goals, training blocks, and progression along the way, but what really drives this crew is the community they've built and the fun they have doing it. From creative theme runs to unforgettable community events, SFSG has created something people genuinely want to be part of. This is a crew that loves where they live, loves running together, and makes you want to move to Kamloops just to join the Sunday morning run and post coffee at Logjam. This week on Open Sources Guelph, our hats are on our heads, not in our hands! Our glorious premier stuck his foot in his mouth again, just in time for National Indigenous Heritage Month, and speaking of foot in mouth we'll talk about the ongoing and confusing state of developments in our newest Mideast quagmire, and in the interview we will talk to an old guest about her new job! This Thursday, June 26, at 5 pm, Scotty Hertz and Adam A. Donaldson will discuss: The 12-Day War (Trademark). Last Saturday night, U.S. President Donald Trump moved up his timetable by a week and launched an attack on three Iranian nuclear sites. Now, depending on who you believe, those attacks were either a massive success, or they barely did any damage to the regime's nuclear program, but afterwards Trump was calling for a new era of peace, which, as always with things in the Middle East, is easier said than done. So what comes next? Five Protests Alive. In the last couple of weeks, both the federal and Ontario governments passed sweeping new omnibus bills that change the rules about massive development projects and circumvents well established laws on the environment, consultations and approval, but the ones who are most disturbed about these changes are Ontario's First Nations people. As we start to shut down this National Indigenous Heritage Month, have we forgotten Truth and Reconciliation? So Far So Good...? Tying into that second topic, we've got one of the House members who voted in favour of Bill C-5: Guelph MP Dominique O'Rourke. In her first interview with us post-election, O'Rourke will talk about the first six weeks on the job, why you should be less concerned about the potential implications of Bill C-5 and what Prime Minister Mark Carney is going to do next now that the open moves are done. Also, we will answer once and for all: Does Guelph have pick-up trucks? Open Sources is live on CFRU 93.3 fm and cfru.ca at 5 pm on Thursday.

A deft vocalist with a sensual sound, LA-based Carly Bond — who's music is heard under the moniker Meernaa — is not only a songwriter but is also a sound engineer and partner at Altamira Sound studios. Meernaa's sophomore album So Far So Good was released earlier this year, and on it you'll find “As Many Birds Flying;” one of the songs performed as she recently made her debut at School Night to the delight of the crowd.
As broadcast October 10, 2023 with plenty of friends in tow. Tonight we open with David Skimming, the mastermind behind the Lunar Isles project, which has made some of the best guitar-centric surf dreams in indie anywhere over the past few years, not just in Korea. His latest is a lovely upbeat affair that is the perfect way to get back into the mode after the Busking World Cup and a bevvy of holidays here in Korea. After that, we had plenty of friends to ride with tonight, as Broken Baby, Scoobert Doobert, and Otis Kane all had fresh cuts to feature in part one, and there was plenty more in store after that with notable joints just out from Masego, Meernaa, veronicavon, Kevin Abstract, and a slew of other worthies, including a great new album from Norwegian cinematic instrumental outfit Orion's Belte called Women, which is absolutely superb and full of surprises.#feelthegravityUTR 10/10/2023Under The RadarTracklist (st:rt)Part 1 (00:00)Lunar Isles – ArrivalScoobert Doobert – All I NeedWild Nothing – Dial ToneBroken Baby – Ugly Polo & Pan – ChamallowKraak & Smaak feat Otis Kane – Ready for YaIzyBeats w/ Masego & Toian – Tipsy Part 2 (33:04)Meernaa – Love Is GoodRobohands – DrivenHoly Hive & The Shacks – Middle of the NightMndsgn – MakeUsuper natural lime – The Boat Pelicat – Safe & Soundveronicavon - Dreamgirl Part 3 (61:13)Katie Ferrara – Loud and ProudHoneywhip – PolaroidKevin Abstract – Blanket bed bug guru – Tightrope Born Days – DreamsA Beacon School – Mantra Part 4 (91:16)Busty & The Bass feat Son Little – Give Me A SmileHala – Run to YouPrateek Kuhad – MulaqatLake Street Dive feat Madison Cunningham – Neighbor SongGeorgia Gets By – Fish Bird Baby BoyOrions Belte feat Oyvind Torvund – I Will Always Miss YouOrions Belte feat Louien – When You're Gone I'll Be Gone

The More Sibyl Podcast Presents:여태까지는 그런대로 잘됐다| The One with Mo!- Episode 200 - So Far So… Good?: Episode 26 (2022)It's our 200th episode! Forgive us if we feel a little proud of this significant feat! For context, only 1% of podcasts make it past 20 episodes–we've just hit ten times that, putting us in the stratosphere! (We certainly feel that way!)You can blame our excitement, then, that the guest on today's show is–me! I get to be interviewed by Doc Ayomide on the journey thus far. We thought it would be a good time to chat about the creative process and the consistency it took to get here. Getting to 200 is way past being creative; it has become a lifestyle. I won't lie, I was nervous when we first discussed it–I am used to asking the questions–but it turned out to be a lot of fun!Ayomide's questions made me think: I got to advise my younger self when she was about to begin a podcast and shared my best episode and episodes I thought wouldn't connect but did.We also discussed the changes in my life since I began the podcast and how I have responded to them. I started this podcast to learn more about people's cultures, but I ended up gaining the wonderful community that is you all. I also talked about the future and expectations. Words don't suffice, however, so….P.S: We are celebrating 200 episodes with a virtual party! It's happening on the 1st of October at 10 am CST/4 PM WAT. Lots of cash prizes to be won!

SURPRISE! Logan & Andy got a little ambitious and decided to tackle one of the greatest trilogies of all time. In order to do so, they've recruited the help of Nicholas Rohrman and Eamon Hegarty of The So Far So Good Show! The four of them go up against questions of morality, sexuality, horology, and the power of friendship in the process of breaking down these films. When does this trilogy take place? Who is Andy's father? (The trilogy's Andy; not ours.) Does Citizen Kane even come close to these masterpieces? Only one way to find out! Find out more on this very special episode of ODD TRILOGIES! I was honored to have the opportunity to interview Phil Volker during the recent Caminohead get-together at his home on Vashon Island, Washington. Phil walked over 500 miles on a Camino path he built in his own backyard while receiving treatments for Stage 4 Cancer. Filmmaker, Annie O'Neil, introduced most of us to Phil in the beautiful film she made about his journey, "Phil's Camino: So Far So Good". Phil is no longer taking treatments and he is currently on hospice care. As always, Phil is not letting this stop him from continuing to share his life's lessons nor tending the corn in his garden. Phil has much left to say and I think many folks will find his words here so inspiring. In this interview, Phil and I chat about the Camino he built after the cancer diagnosis in 2009, his spiritual journey to Catholicism, how he and his wife Rebecca met, being a Marine Veteran where he served as a Rifle Range Coach, the difference between curing and healing, how the Camino epicenter is within the people that have walked it, and how the 4C's, "Camino, Cancer, Catholicism, & Corn", have transformed him and his life. I hope you enjoy our conversation. Buen Camino!
