In this episode of Keeping Abreast, Dr. Jenn Simmons sits down with Dr. Vassily Eliopoulous, MD a former ER physician turned regenerative and longevity medicine expert for a bold conversation about what is broken in modern healthcare and what is quietly replacing it.After years inside emergency medicine, Dr. Vass hit a moment that forced him to confront a hard truth: the system is built to manage crises, not create health. From hospital incentive structures to medical education shaped by patentable therapies, they expose why prevention, metabolic health, peptides, stem cells, and bioidentical hormones remain on the margins. This episode dives into regenerative medicine, stem cell therapy, GLP-1s beyond weight loss, immune resilience, the energetic drivers of disease, and why AI may amplify the need for true human connection in medicine. If you have ever felt like “standard of care” is missing something, this conversation explains why and what comes next. What You'll Learn:The ER moment that made Dr. Vass walk away from conventional medicineWhy hospitals are financially rewarded for procedures, not preventionThe hidden reason non-patentable therapies rarely get taughtWhat peptides (BPC-157, thymosin, GHK-Cu) actually do in the bodyHow stem cells heal tissue and whether they increase cancer riskWhy metabolic dysfunction drives cancer and chronic diseaseThe overlooked role of stress and immune suppression in illnessEpisode Timeline:01:00 Meet Dr. Vass: From ER Physician to Regenerative Medicine Pioneer02:00 Risk, flow state, and longevity07:30 The dark truth about ER medicine10:26 Dr. Jenn's “this system is broken” moment14:07 Dr. Vass' breaking point (and why he left)20:21 Why doctors are not trained in prevention23:13 Patentable medicine and the education pipeline42:15 Patients are forcing the shift47:56 AI, the future of doctors, and the art of medicine57:40 Stress, immunity, and the energetic side of disease01:00:36 Peptides, explained simply01:17:38 Stem cells: what they do and what the data suggests01:29:04 Where to find Dr. Vass + closingWhere to find Dr. Vassily Eliopoulous, MD:Website: longevityhealth.clinic/Instagram: www.instagram.com/dr.vassily/To talk to a member of Dr. Jenn's team and learn more about working privately with Dr. Jenn visit: https://calendly.com/stephanie-1031/clarity-callTo get your copy of Dr. Jenn's book, The Smart Woman's Guide to Breast Cancer, visit: https://tinyurl.com/SmartWomansBreastCancerGuideTo purchase the auria breast cancer screening test go here https://auria.care/ and use the code DRJENN20 for 20% Off.Connect with Dr. Jenn:Website: https://www.jennsimmonsmd.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DrJennSimmonsInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/drjennsimmons/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@dr.jennsimmons
In this episode, Dr. Fiona Lovely sits down with the renowned "Queen of Hormones," Dr. Carrie Jones, for a candid and wide-ranging conversation that cuts through the noise surrounding women's health at midlife. As a Naturopathic Physician with advanced degrees in public health and endocrinology, Dr. Jones brings over two decades of clinical experience to the discussion, offering listeners a masterclass in understanding their own physiology. The conversation explores why Gen X and elder millennial women are uniquely positioned to challenge the status quo when it comes to perimenopause and menopause. Dr. Jones explains that hormone therapy isn't a one-size-fits-all solution—it's a nuanced process that requires individualized attention, much like finding the perfect skincare routine. She addresses the moving target of hormone optimization, explaining how factors like skin thickness, lifestyle, and even climate can affect absorption and efficacy. Listeners will gain valuable insight into the distinction between early and late perimenopause, why progesterone typically declines first, and how estradiol influences everything from serotonin production to joint health. Dr. Jones also sheds light on the critical connection between declining hormones and mental health, explaining why so many women are misdiagnosed and prescribed antidepressants when what they truly need is hormone support. Throughout the episode, both hosts emphasize the importance of testing to understand what's actually happening under the hood rather than relying on guesswork. This is an empowering discussion about taking ownership of your health journey and refusing to accept inadequate answers. Advanced skin treatments often underperform for a reason rarely addressed: regeneration cannot occur in a chronically stressed or under-resourced system. Elevated cortisol, inflammation, and metabolic imbalance weaken collagen signaling and tissue repair before any device, injectable, or modality has a chance to work.In this episode of the Biohacking Beauty Podcast, we sit down with Joe Radich from R3 Health to unpack why physiological preparation determines treatment outcomes. We explore how internal factors like stress, hormones, micronutrients, and metabolic health shape skin regeneration, and why modalities like peptides, hyperbaric oxygen, and exosomes only work as well as the system they're introduced into.Joe Radich is an NCCPA board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in regenerative medicine and the founder of R3 Health. He trains physicians and mid-level practitioners in stem cells, PRP, exosomes, and biohacking-based clinical protocols, with expertise spanning orthopedic, aesthetic, hair restoration, and regenerative applications. What's Discussed:(06:42) Why chronic stress and cortisol are silent drivers of visible skin aging(10:18) Preparing the body before skin treatments and why physiology determines outcomes(14:07) Why microneedling success depends on internal biology, not just technique(18:55) The most common lab patterns behind poor skin regeneration and chronic inflammation(24:31) Hormonal imbalance vs hormone deficiency and how both affect skin aging(33:41) GHK-Cu and peptides as signaling tools for connective tissue regeneration(38:09) Hyperbaric oxygen as a force multiplier for skin repair, recovery, and longevity(44:06) Exosomes and regenerative biologics and why sourcing and quality determine resultsFind more from Young Goose:VAMPIRE EXOSOMES → Professional Exosome Serum for Regeneration and Post-Treatment Recovery → Vampire ExosomesUse code PODCAST10 to get 10% off your first purchase, and if you're a returning customer use the code PODCAST5 to get 5% off at www.younggoose.com Instagram: @young_goose_skincareWinter Skincare Protocol: https://www.younggoose.com/pages/winter-protocol Find more from Joe Radich (R3 Health):Website: https://josephradich.com, https://r3health.coInstagram: @joeradich_

Most people think they go into your body and make all new tissue… but in actuality, they are a delivery mechanism of growth factors. I call them the ultimate traffic cop. In this episode, the host converses with Dr. Jesse Morse, a physician specializing in regenerative and anti-aging medicine. They delve into the intricacies of stem cells and their various sources, including bone marrow, fat, and donor tissue. Dr. Morse highlights the role of exosomes and growth factors in the healing process. The discussion also focuses on the prevention and treatment of Achilles tendon tears, emphasizing the importance of blood supply, proper diagnosis, and innovative therapies. Additionally, they explore the benefits and applications of various peptides, including BPC 157, TB 500, and MotC, for enhancing healing, anti-aging, and overall health. Dr. Morse also addresses the significance of nutrition and detoxification in maintaining optimal health and preventing injuries. Dr. Jesse Morse is a Miami-based, double board-certified physician in Family and Sports Medicine who specializes in regenerative medicine, injury recovery, and longevity. Since shifting from traditional sports medicine in 2020, he has focused on non-surgical approaches to tendon and ligament injuries using therapies like PRP, stem-cell–based treatments, exosomes, and peptides, alongside functional and anti-aging strategies centered on mitochondrial health, immune support, toxin reduction, and personalized recovery—helping everyone from active adults to high-performance athletes restore function and prevent major injuries like Achilles tears while educating widely online. In this fascinating conversation, Dr. Fiona Lovely is joined by wellness advocate Todd Shipman to demystify the complex world of quantum energy. This episode shifts the focus from the typical perimenopause symptom checklist to explore a pervasive but often overlooked source of modern stress: electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs). Todd breaks down this intricate subject in an accessible way, explaining that quantum energy is the neutralizing, subatomic force behind all matter. Their discussion provides a compelling education on how daily exposure to EMFs from devices like cell phones, WiFi, and 5G towers can create a "toxic soup" for our biology. Todd shares revealing data on how this exposure can lead to blood changes, overstimulated brains causing anxiety, and disrupted circadian rhythms—all of which can profoundly amplify common perimenopausal symptoms such as sleep disruption, mood swings, and nervous system dysregulation. The conversation then turns to a transformative solution: the potential of harmonizing technologies. Todd details how creating a field of coherent quantum energy around us can act like a protective bubble, neutralizing these disruptive frequencies and allowing the body to return to its natural, parasympathetic state. He shares compelling observations on how this support may improve deep sleep, reduce inflammatory responses to allergens, and help the body manage the cumulative stress load that so many women face. This episode is an invitation to look beyond the obvious and consider the subtle energetic environment as a key piece of the holistic health puzzle. Peptides are everywhere in the health & performance world—but what are they actually? In this episode, Andrew breaks down what peptides are, why they've exploded in popularity, and what research has and hasn't been done. We'll e go deeper on two of the most talked-about peptides: BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound) and GHK-Cu (copper tripeptide). We cover what they're commonly used for (tendon/ligament recovery, wound healing, gut support, skin and hair), the proposed mechanisms (inflammation regulation, nitric oxide support, angiogenesis, collagen/elastin signaling), and circumstances where Andrew would recommend avoiding them (active cancer or a strong cancer concern due to blood vessel growth signaling). If you've been hearing peptide hype online and want a grounded overview—this is your starting point.Chapters00:00 Why Peptides Are Trending01:23 What Peptides Are04:10 Recovery and Anti-Aging08:05 Where to Get Peptides13:30 BPC-157 For Gut, Tendons, Ligaments, and Wounds23:10 BPC-157 For Inflammation, Nitric oxide, Angiogenesis, Growth-Hormone Receptors38:40 Andrew's experience50:30 GHK-Cu For Healing, Antioxidants, Brain, Skin, and HairThe Co-Movement Gym Podcast is supported by Native Path Supplements and Lombardi Chiropractic.

It's a systematic, education-first breakdown of the actual arguments being made, where those arguments come from, and whether they hold up under real scientific scrutiny.I walk you through:The steel-man case against blending peptides like GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500, and KPVWhy certain claims sound scientific but fall apart when you check amino acid sequences, chemistry, and real stability dataHow AI-hallucinated or misattributed studies are increasingly being used to scare people in the peptide worldWhat real peptide stability science actually tells us about pH, copper coordination, aggregation, oxidation, and storageAnd why independent HPLC and degradation testing from multiple labs matters more than viral talking pointsI also share real-world context: how fear-based content drives engagement on social media, why I intentionally don't operate that way, and why education, transparency, and trust matter more to me than shock value or “gotcha” arguments. At the end of the day, my position is simple:I don't claim absolute truth. Guest: Dr. Hannah Lawler, Naturopathic Doctor (ND)Core Theme: Moving beyond the "pill for every ill" mentality to embrace nutrition (The Bean Protocol™), individualized hormone support, and the powerful signaling of the female cycle.Key Takeaways & Highlights1. The Luteal Phase "Truth Serum"Uni and Hannah discuss the emotional intensity often dismissed as "just PMS."The Luteal Narrative: The luteal phase (the week before your period) acts as a "BS filter." While it can feel like "lunacy," it often highlights real issues in life or relationships that we suppress during the rest of the month.Actionable Advice: Don't make life-altering decisions (like divorce) during this phase, but document the feelings. Use them as data points to address once your hormones settle.2. Naturopathic vs. Conventional MedicineDr. Lawler clarifies the rigorous path of an ND:Training: Four years of medical school, including biochemistry, anatomy, and pharmaceuticals, plus extensive training in nutrition, homeopathy, and hydrotherapy. The "Village Doctor" Approach: Hannah operates a concierge practice, making house calls. This allows her to see a patient's environment—poking around the pantry to see what they think is healthy versus what actually supports their biology.3. The Foundation of Nutrition: The Bean ProtocolBoth Unique and Hannah emphasize that nutrition is not a "fad" but the literal building blocks of cells.Soluble Fiber (Beans & Psyllium): Essential for clearing recycled estrogen and toxins from the liver. This is the "insurance policy" for anyone on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).Personal Responsibility: You cannot drive a "Ferrari" (your body) and put in the cheapest fuel. High-performance health requires high-quality, consistent inputs.4. Advanced Optimizations: Peptides & GeneticsWhen the foundation of nutrition is set, Dr. Lawler looks at "levers" to move the needle:Peptides: Signaling molecules that tell cells to perform specific tasks (e.g., recovery, skin health, or mood). Hannah highlights GHK-Cu (copper peptide) for anti-aging and Thymosin Beta-4 for recovery.Genetics (3x4 Genetics): Understanding "bottlenecks," such as the COMT gene, which affects how you process caffeine and adrenaline. Knowing your genetics removes the "DIY" guesswork from health.5. Thyroid Health & The "Canary in the Coal Mine"The discussion touches on why Hashimoto's is so prevalent today:Environmental Toxins: Halogens like fluoride, chlorine, and bromine can "plug" iodine receptors in the thyroid, leading to dysfunction.Root Cause: It's never "just" the thyroid; it's a response to stress, viruses, or environmental toxicity (like mold).
Iron overload might be quietly driving your fatigue, brain fog, dementia risk, and low energy, even when blood tests claim you're "anemic." In this episode, my longtime friend Morley Robbins returns to explain why excess iron from fortified foods is the real culprit behind many modern health struggles, and how restoring copper balance can flip the script to reclaim vibrant energy and metabolism. Morley breaks down the hidden recycling system for iron that medicine ignores, why the World Health Organization's anemia stats are misleading, and how copper is the master regulator that prevents oxidative stress and magnesium burnout. We cover practical steps like blood donation, smart supplementation, and avoiding common blockers to help you lower iron safely while boosting bioavailable copper for better mitochondrial function and lasting vitality. "95% of the iron we need daily to support the recycling process comes from recycling. We only need one milligram of iron a day from our diet." - Morley Robbins In This Episode: - Introduction to Morley Robbins and his discoveries - The three-ring circus: copper, iron, and oxygen - How copper-dependent enzymes build your connective tissue - Why the anemia epidemic is a myth - Non-heme vs. heme iron and fortification dangers - Ways to lower excess iron safely - Copper's role in health - Blood donation frequency and markers to watch - How to get copper from diet and supplementation - How much copper should you take daily - Copper peptides and GHK-Cu patches: do they work? - Becoming a Root Cause Protocol practitioner Products & Resources Mentioned: Bon Charge Red Light Face Mask: Enjoy 25% off sitewide during their holiday sale at https://boncharge.com Organifi Happy Drops: Save an extra 20% with code MYERSDETOX at https://organifi.com/myersdetox Organifi Collagen: Use code MYERSDETOX for 20% off at https://organifi.com/myersdetox Chef's Foundry P600 Cookware: Exclusive listener discount at https://deals.chefsfoundry.com/black-friday-b?utm_term=MyersDetoxXmas Heavy Metals Quiz: Take it at https://heavymetalsquiz.com About Morley Robbins: Morley Robbins is the founder of the Root Cause Protocol and a leading voice in mineral metabolism research, known affectionately as the "Magnesium Man" before expanding his focus to the critical interplay of copper, iron, and oxidative stress. In this eye-opening and often funny episode of the Not Your Mother's Menopause Podcast, Dr. Fiona Lovely sits down with Kim Rogers, famously known as the "Worm Queen", having gone viral on Tiktok. For anyone who has struggled with "mystery" symptoms, chronic pain, or felt abandoned by Western medicine, this conversation offers a startling and transformative perspective on what might really be going on inside your body. Kim Rogers shares her harrowing journey from being a "Western medicine refugee" with two healthcare degrees to nearly dying from Stage 4 endometriosis and 13 surgeries. She cuts through the taboo surrounding parasites, explaining how her own health crisis was finally resolved not by more surgery, but by addressing a massive, unseen parasitic load. This episode dives deep into the "trifecta" of environmental illness—parasites, mold, and Lyme disease—and why these issues are often the hidden drivers behind autoimmune labels and chronic exhaustion. Together, Fiona and Kim unpack the uncomfortable reality that parasites are not just a "third-world problem." They discuss: The Unseen Epidemic: Why an estimated 60 to 300 million Americans are likely harboring parasites from common sources like pets, sushi, undercooked meat, and even tap water. The Internal Host Experience: How parasites act as "energetic vampires," manipulating your cravings for sugar and disrupting your sleep and mood by consuming your serotonin. The Hormone Link: Why parasitic activity often peaks during the full moon, leading to the "crazy" symptoms and "itchy" flares many women experience but can't explain . The Mold and Lyme Connection: How parasites can act as "biofilm houses" for mold spores and Lyme bacteria, making it nearly impossible to heal from one without addressing the other . Most importantly, this dialogue provides a clear, actionable pathway to reclaiming your health sovereignty. Kim explains the mechanics of her "Purify" protocol, highlighting the crucial role of binders—like charcoal and cinnamon—to safely sweep toxins out of the body and prevent the dreaded "die-off" symptoms. Whether you are a "flusher," a "looker," or a "digger," this episode is an essential guide for anyone ready to stop being a host and start feeling like themselves again. This episode covers: • Trump Drug Pricing Deals and Access to Longevity Medications New drug-pricing agreements announced under President Donald Trump aim to lower the cost of high-priced prescription drugs through negotiated rebates and pricing pressure on major pharmaceutical companies. Early reporting suggests these changes could affect cardiometabolic and longevity-relevant medications, including GLP-1 diabetes and obesity drugs. Dave explains why the real question is not headline savings, but whether lower prices actually reach patients at the pharmacy counter. He breaks down how affordability shapes real-world access, adherence, and long-term prevention strategies, and why policy decisions can matter more than new mechanisms when it comes to sustainable longevity care. Source: https://longevity.technology/news/trump-sets-new-drug-pricing-deals-with-big-pharma/ • 5:2 Intermittent Fasting Outperforms Daily Dieting on Metabolic Health A controlled study compared three popular strategies in people with obesity and type 2 diabetes: 5:2 intermittent fasting, time-restricted eating, and continuous daily calorie restriction. All approaches improved weight and HbA1c, but the 5:2 protocol produced larger reductions in fasting glucose, triglycerides, and insulin resistance. Dave explains why periodic restriction can outperform constant dieting, how to structure fasting days without tanking performance, and how to pair intermittent fasting with CGM data and training schedules for better metabolic flexibility and long-term health. Dave breaks down what epigenetic aging clocks actually measure, why this finding adds credibility to cocoa's cardiometabolic benefits, and why most chocolate products cancel out the upside with sugar and ultra-processing. He explains how to think about food-derived bioactives without turning them into hype-driven anti-aging shortcuts. Source: https://www.aging-us.com/news-room/theobromine-from-cocoa-linked-to-slower-biological-aging • Organ-Specific Biological Age Clocks Predict Disease Risk More Accurately A large Nature study built biological aging clocks for individual organs using blood-based proteomics, showing that organ-specific aging predicts disease and mortality better than a single “bio age” number. Dave explains why you can be biologically young overall but still have an aging brain, arteries, or kidneys, and how this reframes longevity from generic anti-aging to targeted organ protection. He explores how sleep, blood pressure, glucose control, and exercise map differently to different organs, and why precision aging metrics are the future of prevention. Source: https://www.nature.com/articles/s43587-025-01016-8 • Copper Peptides and the Rise of Skin Longevity Copper peptides like GHK-Cu are moving from niche skincare into serious longevity conversations. Human data show strong effects on collagen synthesis, barrier repair, and wound healing, in some cases outperforming traditional retinoids. Dave explains why skin is not just cosmetic but a key immune and environmental interface, how copper peptides fit into repair-focused protocols, and why cycling repair and stress mirrors smarter approaches to training and recovery across the body. Injectable peptide therapy is everywhere right now- but what actually works, what's safe, and what's just marketing hype? In this episode of Your Bestitician, Searcy sits down with Nancy Haring, MD to break down the science behind injectable peptide therapy, including NAD+, GHK-Cu, and more. We talk about how peptides work in the body, what they're commonly used for, who may be a good candidate, and why medical supervision matters. If you've been curious about peptides but overwhelmed by misinformation online, this episode brings clarity, credibility, and real education.
Thanks for listening to The Peptide Podcast. Today, we're diving into the combined power of high-dose NAD+ and GHK-Cu. I'm genuinely excited about the technology behind a product called the Push Patch. In this compelling conversation on this week's episode, Dr. Fiona Lovely welcomes naturopathic oncologist Dr. Laura James to pull back the curtain on the breast cancer journey. They dive deep into what it truly means to receive a breast cancer diagnosis and navigate what Dr. James candidly terms "the breast cancer industrial complex." This discussion moves far beyond simplistic narratives to explore the profound importance of personalized, integrative care that addresses the whole person—not just the tumor. Dr. James demystifies complex terminology, explaining the critical differences between receptor statuses and what a genetic link really means for risk. She outlines the distinct phases of treatment and emphasizes why having an informed advocate, like a naturopathic oncologist, can be transformative in helping women understand their options and ask the right questions. The conversation takes an honest look at the often-overlooked emotional and systemic realities, including the burden of shame, the critical need for a "buddy system," and the stark limitations of protocol-driven, siloed medicine. Perhaps most impactful is their exploration of life after treatment, including the controversial yet vital discussion around hormone replacement therapy for survivors. Dr. James provides a nuanced perspective on weighing quality of life and long-term health risks, advocating for women's right to make fully informed decisions for their bodies and their futures. This episode is an empowering resource for anyone touched by breast cancer, offering clarity, compassion, and a bold new framework for healing. Earlier this year my father-in-law was hospitalized with what the doctors loosely labeled as COPD—trouble breathing, fluid in the lungs, inflammation, all the scary stuff that makes you realize how fragile life can be. When he finally got home from the hospital, I put him on a very specific peptide stack designed for deep respiratory repair, and the results were nothing short of incredible. That experience inspired today's episode. I walk you through the exact peptide stack we used to regenerate lung tissue, modulate inflammation, and get him back on his feet WAY faster than the standard prognosis. We're talking about Bronchogen, Chonluten, VIP (Vasoactive Intestinal Peptide), TB-500, and GHK-Cu—each of them working on different mechanistic pathways ranging from DNA-level gene expression to immune modulation to fibrosis prevention. You'll hear the science, the clinical evidence, the dosing, and—maybe most importantly—why this stack worked so well for a real human being in a real crisis. And yes, even if you're “healthy,” these peptides have profound regenerative and anti-aging properties for the lungs that make them worth understanding.Chronic respiratory disease is the third leading cause of death worldwide. Over 454 million people suffer from lung-related conditions. And when you see those numbers—and then see firsthand how quickly lung tissue can repair with the right tools—you start to understand why peptide-based regenerative medicine is the future.Whether you're dealing with COPD, bronchitis, long-haul viral issues, inflammation, fibrosis, smoker's lungs, or you simply want to bulletproof your respiratory system as you age… this episode is for you.As always, make sure you're on my email list so you stay connected no matter what platform bans me next. In an era where peptides are dominating wellness conversations, it can be challenging to separate groundbreaking information from mere buzz. In this educational episode of the Not Your Mother's Menopause Podcast, Dr. Fiona Lovely sits down with the esteemed Dr. Elizabeth Yurth, a specialist in regenerative and cellular medicine, to provide a masterclass on these powerful signaling molecules and how they can help at menopause. The conversation dives deep into the critical concept that our endogenous peptide levels, much like our hormones, decline with age. This foundational understanding frames peptide therapy not as a futuristic trend, but as a potential method for replenishing what our bodies are naturally losing. Listeners will gain invaluable insight into specific peptides and their applications. Dr. Yurth details how growth hormone secretagogues can support cellular repair and improve sleep quality, and why thymic peptides are vital for a well-educated immune system, especially as we age. She also explores the significant repair benefits of peptides like BPC-157 and Thymosin Beta-4 for gut and joint health. Furthermore, the discussion reframes the conversation around GLP-1 agonists, moving beyond weight loss to highlight their promising role in cognitive, cardiac, and metabolic health when used at appropriate doses. Throughout the episode, Dr. Yurth emphasizes that peptides are a sophisticated tool that works best on a solid foundation of optimized hormones, quality sleep, and proper nutrition. She also provides crucial guidance on the importance of working with a thoroughly trained clinician and sourcing peptides from reputable compounding pharmacies to ensure safety and efficacy. This is an essential listen for anyone looking to understand the true therapeutic potential and responsible application of peptides. In this power-packed episode, I sit down with longevity expert Dr. Elizabeth Yurth to dismantle popular biohacking trends and get down to the cellular root of aging. We dive deep into why mitochondrial dysfunction is often the culprit behind chronic fatigue—especially post-viral exposure—and Dr. Yurth walks me through her safety-first "replacement strategy" for cycling peptides like Thymosin Alpha-1, BPC-157, and GHK-Cu to restore what we naturally lose with age . We also have a critical conversation about the NAD+ craze, where I learn why filling the "bucket" with infusions might be fueling inflammation if we don't block the leaks first using compounds like Apigenin . Finally, we explore the game-changing role of plasmalogens for insulating our nerves against brain fog and why we are moving away from Metformin to protect our muscle gains . Guest Information: Dr. Elizabeth Yurth is the Medical Director of the Boulder Longevity Institute. You can find her educational resources at bli.academy and on Instagram @DrYurth.
In this episode of the Ageless Future Podcast, Cade Archibald dives into the hidden role of chronic muscle inflammation and why so many high-performers normalize pain until it becomes a deeper problem. He explores the balance between healthy inflammation and the kind that stalls healing, outlining how factors like overtraining, poor sleep, stress, and gut issues contribute to this cycle. Cade explains how regeneration is dependent on resolving inflammation and activating the body's muscle stem cells. You'll hear about key solutions—like BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, and umbilical cord plasma—that support healing at the cellular level. Plus, real clinical results show how combining peptides, plasma, and stem cells has helped patients reverse decades of pain and muscle atrophy. After spending thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours researching peptides, testing them on myself, and tracking every single result—I've narrowed it down to 5 compounds that I consider absolutely non-negotiable for performance, recovery, and longevity. These aren't the flashy ones that biohackers post about for clout. These are the ones that actually move the needle. The ones I use myself. The ones I'd recommend to my wife, my clients, my close friends. And today, I'm walking you through all of them—what they do, why they work, how to dose them, and how to stack them for maximum effect. Firstly... we are not intending to cure, treat, diagnose anyone. These are stories of people's lives being shared and the repetition of published date, patents and words of others. You are the controller of your life, remember that.I have been very interested in a copper peptide, GHK-Cu, for sometime, and when I was recently doing some research on it, I came across an interview with Darlene Greene and her incredible story. As the interviewed progressed, I learned that she was referring to a technology that I have recently started using and educating on and sharing because I simply just CAN'T NOT. Most guys over 40 think building muscle and losing fat is just about training harder or eating cleaner. The reality is, that only gets you so far.True results come from optimizing the whole system: training, recovery, nutrition, hormones, and in some cases, leveraging tools like peptides. To dig deeper into this, I'm joined by Jeff Sakamoto. Jeff's background in pro sports, bodybuilding, and now owner of a top peptide and hormone distribution company, gives him a unique perspective on what it really takes to move the needle. In this conversation, we break down what optimization really means, why most guys are leaving game-changing results on the table, and how to approach peptides safely so they actually work for you. The goal is simple: help you look, feel, and perform your best without grinding yourself into the ground. If you're ready to move beyond outdated practices and start thinking like someone who values long-term health, energy, and performance, this is for you.Episode Timeline: 00:00 – Episode Preview01:05 – Welcome to the Show02:07 – Introducing Jeff Sakamoto04:36 – Jeff's Journey Into Telemedicine05:42 – Dangers of self-sourcing peptides online08:52 – Ensuring quality & pharmacy standards11:02 – The pursuit of optimization12:15 – Early athletic background & low testosterone discovery17:25 – Stress, lifestyle, and body composition challenges19:39 – Misconceptions around sleep, food, and alcohol22:18 – Rationalizing habits vs. health goals23:52 – Micro-decisions and long-term progress25:06 – Ripple effects of daily choices25:24 – Shifting identity away from alcohol26:35 – Strength training after 4029:05 – Moving past CrossFit and high-intensity training29:55 – Training with intent, not annihilation30:36 – Breaking down peptides31:47 – Who should consider peptides33:49 – Hormones vs. Peptides: where to start35:26 – What “optimal” testosterone really means37:48 – The importance of free testosterone39:16 – Lifestyle factors before hormone therapy41:16 – Reframing GLP-1s as a powerful tool44:05 – Real-world results with GLP-1s45:28 – Advancements with retatrutide46:42 – Microdosing explained48:07 – Broader benefits of GLP-1s49:07 – Peptides that support healing & recovery51:36 – Popular anti-aging peptides (GHK-Cu)52:31 – Wrapping up & where to connect with Jeff53:24 – Guidance for finding good clinicians54:20 – Closing thoughtsConnect with Jeff Sakamoto: Jeff Sakamoto's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jeff.sakamoto/ Company Website: https://www.scripts.co/ Links & Resources:Connect with Ben on Instagram:

Welcome back to our weekend Cabral HouseCall shows! This is where we answer our community's wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging questions to help people get back on track! Check out today's questions: Lara: Hi, dr. Cabral.. I was listening to your podcast Can you cheat death (ep. 872) and you say your doctor should check your cholesterol, crp levels and homocysteine levels.. could you please tell us what the ranges are? Normal healthy levels? Please and thank you and happy healing to everyone Melanie: I have the Essure device implanted for Birth control sterilization. They have since recalled it. I would like to get it removed but it is a risky procedure. I don't have specific problems from it but I was wondering if it could be contributing to some health problems I don't realize? Geoff: Hello! What would you do to heal as quickly as possible after a gum procedure? I'm having my gum recession fixed and have a few things lined up to aid the healing process. Here's what I'm planning on using: hydrogen water tablets (3x/day on an empty stomach), the "Healing like Wolverine" peptide stack (BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, Ipamorelin), along with daily infrared sauna sessions. I also have some C60 oil that I'm considering. What else would you do? Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my question!! You and your team are the best! Hope you have a great day! Mohamed: Good day Doctor Cabral. I am big fan of your work and have utilized many of equilifes products. I also regularly watch your YouTube videos and podcasts. Your work is incredible. My question is regarding bilateral sciatica pain (Nerve pain) which lead to pondylitic changes with nerve root impingement. How can I address this. What do I need to avoid or utilize. I know B1 is good for Nerve related issues. Please weigh in. Thanks Sheena: Hi Dr Cabral! Thank you so much for answering my question. I'm 45 and starting to feel the effects of perimenopause. Hot flashes everyday and night, cant stay asleep because of it, bad break outs, and irregular prolonged periods. Fortunately no vaginal dryness but I don't doubt it will come soon! My endocrinologist suggested I could take low-dose birth control pill and says it'll help. I'm hesitant in taking something synthetic everyday as I know it could come with long term effects. I have been taking this organic tincture for menopause that includes sage, black cohosh, burdock, chasetree, dongquai and motherwort, it was really helping for about a year, but not as much anymore. Which is why I'm considering birth control pill. What are your thoughts and recommendations? You're the best!!
