Welcome back to the Caddie Tales Podcast! In this episode, Mark and Nick pull back the curtain on what really makes a great day on the course—not just between players and caddies, but between caddies themselves. While most golf talk centers around what golfers want from their caddies, today the focus shifts to the camaraderie, teamwork, and sometimes the little annoyances that come with working side-by-side.Mark and Nick share candid stories from the caddyshack, discuss the importance of complementary skills and positive attitudes, and reveal the underappreciated art of "the chop"—splitting tips to make the day fair and fun for all. They laugh about one-uppers, reminisce about acts of service (like carrying four bags uphill), and dive into the unsung ways caddies support each other through long, grueling rounds. Whether you're a veteran looper or just someone looking for lessons from the golf world to carry into life, this episode is full of practical advice, heartfelt compliments, and the kind of friendly ribbing that keeps every round interesting.Tune in for stories, honest reflections, and tips for making every day out there feel a little more like a team effort.Sign up for Par 3 Thursdays. Don't some people say don't look a gift horse in the mouth? I agree, but when you receive that gift….how long do you keep it? I've been invited to join the Bullcast Podcast crew to talk about gifts you may not want. Specifically, real estate gifts, and how do you know what to do with it? On today's show, Cort Winsett and Cameron Spann – the geniuses over at Pickler Wealth Advisors – discuss things like how to know if you should sell the house you just inherited, or what about if you want to keep the house but you need to hire a property manager? If you're a first time listener to the Bullcast Podcast, you'll find their format SUPER fun: they start every episode with a entertainment list appropriate to the topic. Today's list? Items in movies the characters may not want. Join me on the Bullcast Podcast's Episode 262: The Inheritance Hot Potato.
Alison Armstrong is back for her second round on 'The Heart of Man'.For those of you unfamiliar with her, Alison is a sought-after teacher, thought leader, and the author of the best-selling books 'Keys to the Kingdom' and 'The Queen's Code'. For over three decades, she has been teaching and speaking about men, women, human behavior, and relationships. Through her seminars, books, online programs, and media contrutions, she has helped millions of people create more fulfilling lives, loving relationships, stronger families, and more productive organizations. As her work has evolved over the decades, Alison has focused on illuminating the human instincts that shape behavior, instincts that transcend gender, age, or upbringing. She helps us see how these deeply embedded tendencies can create conflict in relationships, and how understanding them can lead to more harmony, connection, and clarity.I'm incredibly excited to share this upcoming conversation with you, where we dive into one of the frameworks that has deeply shaped my own life: The Amazing Development of Men. This model outlines the stages that a man will instinctively move through in his life — from Page all the way to Elder —each coming with its own distinct characteristics, motivations, and lessons. I've found it to be an incredibly valuable map for understanding myself, identifying what I need in the phase that I'm in, and navigating the potential friction that can arise in intimate relationships. In this interview, discover:The critical stages of the prince, tunnel and the kingWhat types of princes exist, what unique challenges they face, and how they can skillfully navigate the relational conflicts that can often arise during this periodWhat kind of woman a man chooses when he's ready to build a lifeWhy the belief that men are non-committal is a mythAbout the powerful “Tunnel” stage, which can be seen as a reckoning and deep period of reflection where a man confronts the ways he may have abandoned & betrayed himself in pursuit of success or approval. How to move through the tunnel deliberately through the process of Noble Forgiveness — a pathway navigating through shame that ultimately allows a man to step into the King stage with clarity and integrity. As with our last conversation, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Alison. I continue to be deeply inspired by her work, especially by the reverence and clarity with which she speaks about men. Her teachings offer profound insight not only into relationships, but into our own development, and I'm confident you'll receive value from it.This is one you won't want to miss...—Connect with Alison Armstrong: Website: https://www.alisonarmstrong.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thealisonarmstrong/?hl=deYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@AlisonArmstrongVideosListen to "The Queen's Code": https://www.alisonarmstrong.com/products/qc-audiobook.html—Connect with Alex Lehmann: Website: https://www.alexlehmann.co/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexlehmann_/?hl=enYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/@HeartofManPodcast/featuredListen to this conversation on Apple Podcasts and leave a review: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/heart-of-man/id1697289478Email: alexlehmanncoaching@gmail.comInterested in working with me 1:1? Welcome back to another episode of Caddie Tales! In today's show, host Mark and his trusty co-host Nick dive into how the unpredictability of life on the golf course mirrors the twists and turns we encounter off the fairways. Fresh off the Fourth of July holiday, the guys share reflections on family time, working holiday loops, and how the vibe at the course shifts during those quieter stretches.Mark opens up about a wild week of caddying—think unexpected player requests, misjudged first impressions, and some of the most memorable (and downright surprising) rounds he's ever looped. From guiding a complete golf novice through a grueling front nine to witnessing an unexpected transformation into a long-drive slugger, Mark tells a story that proves you never really know what a day on the links will bring. Steve James is a meditation teacher, somatic practitioner, artist & the host of the Guru Viking Podcast. With a rich & diverse background, his work todays bridges the worlds of body-based practices & contemplative spiritual traditions.Growing up in Scottland, his journey into body-based disciplines began at the ripe age of five with martial arts & intensive physical training, eventually leading to elite-level competition as a member of the Scottish Fencing team in his teens. He later expanded his practice to include yoga, qigong, and physical performance In parallel, Steve's path into contemplative & spiritual disciplines started early through an apprenticeship with a Christian mystic from the Celtic tradition. And this formative experience inspired years of study & deep personal practice in prayer, contemplation, and inquiry. He has continued this journey through extensive meditation practice, silent retreats & extensive studies in world mysticism. As a result of his unique range of experiences & understanding of human behaviour, high performance, spirituality & interpersonal relationships, he is highly sought after by leading figures at the highest levels of the arts, entertainment & business. In our interview, we explore: Steve's perspective on the value of exploring meditation & contemplative practices that teach us to go beyond the body, alongside body-based practices that deeply engage us into our bodies. His personal interest & philosophy around pushing the limits of physical & psychological performance, including his pursuit of arctic survival training in Sweden's boreal forest, where daytime temperatures reach highs of only -24°C. Our individual encounters at the edge of life, sharing our personal near-death experiences & reflecting on how these moments have shaped us & what they taught us about life moving forward. How on earth do you manage rentals two time zones away without a property manager? Easy. Systems and people who you can trust. Okay, it's not so easy, but the systems part and people you can trust part are BOTH true. Setting up systems for remote landlording can take some doing, but technology is advancing nearly daily and more and more of it is FREE. Business expert Sydney Young joins me on today's show to talk about how self-managing landlords can set up remote systems and many free resources including www.fillout.com, www.cal.com, and adobe e-sign. (And don't forget the voice note addition in fillout.com!)

My Life As A Landlord | Rentals, Real Estate Investing, Property Management, Tenants, Canada & US.
They say most people would rather be in the coffin than giving the eulogy at a funeral. The fear of public speaking is a real thing and feels an awful lot like the fear of being a first-time landlord. Toastmasters is a great organization who helps build confidence in not only public speaking, but in life. Recently I was asked to speak about rentals at a Toastmasters Club called “Money Matters” and the meeting was all about rentals. In fact, the meeting was so much about rentals, that I have asked two of the Toastmasters from the Money Matters Club today to join me in a roundtable of rental questions. Hear us discuss many topics that we didn't get to during the meeting. Enjoy!

And this week's episode of CockTales: Dirty Discussions has range, okay? From backshots and braids to funerals and family group pics, we cover it all. Kiki talks about heading to Louisiana a few hours after recording for her grandfather's funeral and gives an update on the emotional rollercoaster that came with it (yes, grandma got her group photo and yes, it's on YouTube). Meanwhile, Medinah just took her braids out in the most luxurious way and is deep in her "enjoy and romanticize every moment" era. We're talking young love, grown crushes, being a tender-headed Black girl just trying to function, and the ridiculous things we believed about sex back in the day. There's also a new cocktail recipe (Heaux on the Rocks), a ridiculous listener confession, and of course, a little indecisive date suggestions from Diane.

This week on CockTales: Dirty Discussions, we're grieving, horny, and apparently being touched by trees. Kiki and Medinah catch up on soft launches, Sedona plans, vibrator injuries, and the men sliding into DMs after baptism. Plus, they break down a listener letter involving baby mama drama and what desperation doesn't look like at 30.
