Send Krystal a Text Message.Ever feel like you're the only one struggling with your content creation journey? Our annual audience survey results are in, and the findings might surprise you. With over 50 respondents and 12 in-depth follow-up interviews, we've uncovered the three universal struggles plaguing creators across all platforms: consistency, monetization, and imposter syndrome. Whether you're just starting out or have been in the game for years, these challenges create a common thread that binds the creator community together. You're definitely not alone. The most eye-opening revelation? While creators obsess over the front-end of their content—what audiences see on Instagram, YouTube, or their podcast—most are a complete mess behind the scenes. The lack of systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures is killing productivity and preventing creators from reaching their full potential. This digital chaos makes it nearly impossible to stay consistent, properly monetize, or overcome imposter syndrome.Looking ahead to 2025, our data points to three critical focus areas for creator success: developing sustainable content creation practices that prevent burnout, implementing monetization strategies that feel natural rather than salesy, and embracing community-building through meaningful collaborations. These aren't just nice-to-haves—they're essential components for long-term success in the creator economy.Ready to see how your creator journey compares to others? Download our comprehensive 20-page report at krystalproffitt.com/annual-survey-report and join our free Podcasters Connect community to access resources, monthly coaching calls, and connect with fellow creators who understand exactly what you're going through. The days of creating in isolation are over—let's build something sustainable together.Click the "Send Krystal a Text Message" link above to send us your questions, comments, and feedback on the show! What's happening to margins at PR agencies? And how can agencies be more profitable? PRWeek's latest podcast takes a look. Our guest on Beyond the Noise this week is Esther Carder, media specialist partner at accountancy and business advisory firm Moore Kingston Smith.Beyond the Noise, which is published on alternate weeks, looks at some of the biggest issues affecting comms and PR. Download the podcast via Apple, Spotify, or listen in the browser above or on your favourite platform.Late last year Moore Kingston Smith published its Annual Survey that analyised Companies House data on 40 of the UK's biggest comms agencies. The research found that the UK's high inflation rate has severely dented 'real terms' fee income growth at major PR agencies, while profit margins have also dipped.Speaking to podcast host Frankie Oliver, the founder of New Society, and PRWeek UK editor John Harrington, Carder discusses the findings in more detail. She looks at some of the biggest trends in recent months given the changing rates of inflation and subsequent cost pressures.Carder offers advice to agencies about how to mitigate rising costs and become more profitable businesses. She stresses the need for "bravery", urging agency to "hold firm" on fee increases.Carder also offers predictions for the rest of 2024 and beyond. We also ask whether, given the recent squeeze on margins, PR firms are still attractive investment opportunities.DepartureThis will be Frankie Oliver's final appearance as host on Beyond the Noise. She is stepping down after 40-plus episodes and more than a year and a half. She explained: "I've so enjoyed hosting the PRWeek podcast for the last 18 months with John [Harrington, UK editor] and Danny [Rogers, editor-in-chief] and I hope our listeners have enjoyed it too. It's been such a great experience and I'm really grateful to all the wonderful guests that have come on the show."The time has come however for me to hand over the gauntlet as I shift New Society, the consultancy I set up to tackle the climate communications problem, into being a not-for-profit. We are winning really exciting philanthropic funding and I am therefore fully focusing all my time on delivering the critical campaigns we so urgently need in the world to drive rapid action on the climate crisis. I wish PRWeek the very best with the podcast and have no doubt the show will go from strength to strength."Harrington said: "Frankie has been a great host of Beyond the Noise since it launched back in May 2022, helping to steer its direction during another tumultuous period for the PR industry."I'd like to offer a big thanks to Frankie for all her work. We wish her all the best with New Society and whatever else the future holds." Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Our annual Travel Industry Survey is out! Produced in partnership with research company Phocuswright, it examines nearly every aspect of travel agency business: What type of travel they're booking, who their clients are, demographics, business models, how much travel they book in terms of sales figures, how much money they make from those travel sales, marketing tactics, social media, concerns and future outlook. On this episode we're going to take it a step further. Host Rebecca Tobin delves into the data with Johanna Jainchill, who helped architect and publish the survey, as well as retail editor Jamie Biesiada, who really has a finger on the pulse of the agency community. Here at TWiT.tv, we do not invade our audiences' privacy like Google, Facebook, Apple, Spotify, and the rest of the tech world. We rely on an annual survey to allow our audience to contribute information to us instead of tracking them to find out who they are because we want to respect our fans. It's not rocket science why podcasts have begun to dominate the media landscape. Podcasts are readily available and accessible to anyone with a listening device; most people can multitask while listening, and, most importantly, podcasts build community. And if anyone knows about podcast communities, it's TWiT.tv. (If you haven't already, join us at Club TWiT, where you can chat with hosts and producers, be the first to know about special events, plus so much more.) You've heard how much we love our audience, which is unquestionably true. Our loyal listeners make TWiT the best and longest-running tech podcast network. We love to hear feedback about what listeners look forward to hearing, what they don't like, how they prefer to listen, all of it! The more we can do to enhance our listeners' experience, the better. The 2023 TWiT Audience Survey was available for the month of January, and we received more than 10,000 responses. This annual survey helps us get a clear, general idea of our audience. It allows us to make better programming decisions and pick advertisers our audience will be interested in. We want to assure everyone that we do not identify our fans in any way and only use the aggregate information from the survey responses. (For example, "More than 60% of our audience are in management level or higher.") We know many fans take privacy very seriously, and we respect that. Given the vast amount of information and insight from The Liver Meeting, this episode sought to identify and explore a few key highlights. The panel (Jörn Schattenberg, William Alazawi, Naim Alkhouri, Laurent Castera, Ken Cusi, Wayne Eskridge and Roger Green) addresses several topics from the program. This conversation focuses on an ongoing initiative of the Fatty Liver Foundation called the Annual Survey of Patient Perspectives.Wayne introduces this 713-patient survey which sought to understand and monitor the evolving social and medical experiences of NAFLD patients in the US. The results of the study were presented at The Meeting. Notably, 80% of patients reported they were given either no or not enough information at diagnosis. One in three did not receive a referral to a specialist at diagnosis, and 60% of those who saw a specialist left the visit with little or no understanding of the disease. Wayne also notes a relatively small percentage of patients felt they were offered help at the time of visit in terms of diet and nutrition, or mental wellness as related to the diagnosis. Roger asks what would be the key message for treaters, pharma and diagnostic companies to take away. Wayne highlights two: patients are not well-informed or supported at time of diagnosis, and primary care providers lack the disease information and treatment insights to better support these patients. As the session winds down, conversation shifts focus to consider the breadth of this physician challenge and address what remedial steps make most sense.
The business value of artificial intelligence (AI) will reach $5.1 billion by 2025. Furthermore, 80% of executives think that automation can be applied to any decision. These impactful findings are among the many reasons that Gartner invests considerable resources to conduct an annual Artificial Intelligence Survey. Gartner's annual survey is designed to understand the keys to successful AI implementations and the barriers to the operationalization of AI. The research was conducted online from October through December 2021 among 699 respondents from organizations in the U.S., Germany and the U.K. The results of the survey cut across four key themes:The Value of AIOperationalizing AITalentPrivacy, Security and RiskFor the first theme — the Value of AI — the data shows that organizations continue to increase their focus on measuring the value of their AI efforts. This zeal for value is driven by the fact that 40% of organizations have thousands or hundreds of thousands of AI models deployed. Furthermore, leading organizations expect to double the number of artificial intelligence projects in place. As such, there is a continued quest to more accurately measure value and showcase the benefits to leadership. This leads us to the other themes. The survey data reveals that operationalization progress is slow; only 54% of AI models are fully deployed. Yet, the barriers are not talent-driven. Over 70% of organizations indicate AI talent is not a primary concern for staffing AI initiatives. Organizations report that they are able to retrain or upskill existing talent or acquire new talent to meet the need.In this podcast, Gartner expert analyst Svetlana Sicular explores the first three themes, providing insights, examples and more data-driven findings from Gartner's annual Artificial Intelligence Survey. Our host Whit Andrews is joined by expert analyst, Svetlana Sicular. Sicular's research interests center on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML); data-centric AI; and responsible AI and augmented intelligence.

Welcome to Season 2 of our podcast! We're excited to kick off new episodes of our podcast with amazing guests and more great information about caregiver wellness and well home design. For 2022, Caregiving Club has chosen a theme of “The Year of Living Colorfully.” This theme connects to the 7 elements of our Me Time Monday Wellness Edit and as always we have another wellness hack at the end of our podcast episodes with this episode focused on the 7 Yellow Brick Roads to Happiness. Yowsa! What a lot of circumstantial evidence we have here. Fresh data from the ongoing public research into Google's crawl and index behavior. Massive emails from Search Console saying pages had errors when pages did not have errors and a quiet announcement at the end of November. In this episode I wonder out loud what could possibly be going on at Google within the last few weeks of 2021. Hope you enjoy it. P.S. The title of this episode came to me after I had recorded it. Reminded me of growing up after my mom checked my room closet. We've all sat there. Excited by the prospect of both growing our "book of business" and helping a small business claim their rightful share of the local market for what they offer. And then they start to share all the horrible things they experienced with their previous SEO company. Our heart sinks for two reasons. 1 - We know they are going to want us to prove to them over and over that we're not that other agency and 2 - We are likely wasting our time because even if we were to get them to sign on, we'll be defending ourselves because we're not going to provide them with a time card of our hours and likely they are too skittish so we're looking at three (3) months max. Nothing we can say or do that can build trust within the meeting - except maybe saying no. I even dip back into my SEO fantasy world ideas - which you can indulge in over here in Episode 43 Is This Real Life or Is it Fantasy Please take the Annual Survey - 6 questions and let me know if you want a Season 2 of Confessions of an SEO - https://bit.ly/confessionssurvey You can find me on Linkedin - Carolyn Holzman. Robin shares with us the perspective of the surveyor when entering and surveying a nursing home. They have pressure from their managers to complete the survey in a specific time frame (usually 4-5 days). The regulation requires that all surveys are completed in 9-15 months and that can be a challenge when a facility is not prepared and ready to go. I wait, hope and pray for the day when all surveyors will be on the same page and will work together to ensure the residents receive the highest level care that they truly deserve!Contact RobinCall - (917) 991-1093Site - seniorconsultantsny.com

For the past 10 years, the Wounded Warrior Project's Annual Warrior Survey has gauged the status of US veterans and how well the services meant to care for them are doing. This year's results came out Wednesday. For what's in it, Federal News Network's Eric White spoke with the Project's Director of Metrics, Melanie Mousseau, on Federal Drive with Tom Temin.
