The IRS borrows hundreds of BILLIONS OF DOLLARS because it didn't get enough of our tax money in April as the US careens towards a collision course with insolvency.  A new wave of indictments against Donald Trump allies smells an awful lot like Democrat desperation to us. Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, Christina Bobb and John Eastman are among the names listed by Arizona's attorney general for their roles in disputing the 2020 election results. It seems the walls are caving in on the "safest, most secure election ever" narrative and, like cornered animals, Democrats are now in attack mode. PLUS Bidenomics is the cost of voting stupid as rising wages in California decimate the fast food industry. *BONUS Do not miss the last story this hour as a Detroit television reporter knocks on the door of a home stolen by a transgender criminal squatter. Our welcome guest is Jeff Culbreath, a married father of six residing in the obscure suburbs of Sacramento. He works in the apparel industry, drives his busy kids around, and tries to be a low-maintenance husband to his hard-working wife. He enjoys writing on various topics and has maintained several blogs over the years. When you look in the mirror, who do you see? The cellulite, the bags? Do you see all your wrinkles and blemishes? Or, do you see someone beautiful inside and out? Today is for you: If you've struggled with seeing yourself as beautiful. If you see all the flaws instead of the good. If you've ever thought, “I'm not enough,” or gotten stuck in the comparison trap. When my girls were little, they loved dress-up. They would look in the mirror and, without shame, declare they're beautiful. How about you? Most of us are holding back the criticism or declaring our criticism freely. We've been telling ourselves the negative aspects of ourselves for so long that we believe it. Beauty is about loving who God created us to be. It's about seeing past the imperfections to our true selves–our fearfully and wonderfully made selves. I want to propose an experiment. For the next 30 days, look in the mirror and ask yourself, “who do you see?” Then answer with only positive attributes. Write down what you say. Read it a few times each day. This exercise helps you see yourself as He sees you. He intricately and skillfully formed you as if He was embroidering with many colors! He's continually thinking how amazing you are! Then you begin to agree with Him. Bonus: Do this exercise with a trusted friend. Have them look at you for 60 seconds. Ask them, “who do you see?” Try recording their comments so you can remember them later when you're feeling down about yourself. Remind yourself you are beautiful! To learn more about your identity, check out Mirror moments - a 99-day devotional to inspire and heal a woman's heart. Check out the website: https://ramblingmindshow.com/ The most expensive holiday for a lot of us is Christmas. We spend the most amount on money and I would like to say it's on others but we selfish. It is estimated by a study by Gallup that we will spend about $1 trillion he's with a T on Christmas this year. With each consumer spending about $1000. https://bit.ly/3jq40Y3 That's a lot of money. So how exactly do you save up to prepare for spending this amount of money. Pressumaly for others but really on ourselves. 1. Write down the names of each person you are going to be giving a gift. 2. Decide how much money you are going to spend on each of those people. 3. Start setting aside money for it. 4. Start looking for deals on the items you will buy for each person. The thing is the earlier you start thinking about this. The better and easier it will be for you when December rolls on through. Oh and I need to add this. Bonus: Do not hold yourself to some arbitrary standard of gift for people. Give what you can afford to give. Don't go into debt because you want to be nice or rather appear to be nice. Those who you love and love you will put more importance on you thinking about them than on the actual item itself. However, don't be selfish and give trash because you trying to buy yourself useless stuff that you don't need. Also if you really can't afford to buy anything then make stuff. I personally appreciate hand made gifts a whole lot more than bought except in some cases. But in general knowing someone took the time to create something means the world to me. Yoel and Mickey discuss sacred values. How are sacred valued different from other values? What are the hallmarks of values that have become sacrilized? Why does it seem crass, or even offensive, to suggest trading off a sacred value (such as diversity value) against other, more mundane considerations? What does it mean that sacred values are dose insensitive and evidence insensitive? Bonus: Do scientists who attended conferences sponsored by the late Jeffrey Epstein need to morally cleanse?

Depression is the peak of grieving and almost guaranteed at some point in the journey of special needs parenting. Depression affects all of us, and the reason why it's important to talk about it is that there are ways out of it. We don’t have to be depressed forever even though sometimes it feels like we will. What I have learned about depression, is that getting through it takes work. It's not something that just goes away.   Getting to the acceptance stage of grieving is the most crucial stage. When we get to that stage, a whole new world opens up. A world of clarity and hope and peace and purpose. We start to see that whatever circumstance we are in, it can be a blessing instead of a curse. And I don’t know about you, but that is all I want. I want to live a life where I am happy, my family is happy no matter what our circumstances are.   In this episode, I talk about 5 strategies that help with depression. They aren't necessarily a cure, but ways to help cope in a time where your mind is fragile.   Be kind to yourself When you are going through a traumatic time, like being at your child's bedside in the hospital or getting through a significant diagnosis, its completely understandable that its hard. Instead of beating yourself up and having shame for how you are feeling, give yourself some compassion.   Imagine you are looking at the little girl (or boy) version of yourself. What is it that that child needs to hear. That child still lives in you so be kind and be gentle. You are only human.   Take care of your brain Your brain is an organ. Take care of it. If you are depressed, your brain is sick. It needs to be treated with the most care. Just like a person with heart disease should watch their sodium intake, a person suffering liver damage should stay away from alcohol, someone who is depressed needs to stay away from anything negative that can be removed. If you feel bad about yourself when you are scrolling through Instagram, shut it off. If you have a negative friend who drains you, take a break from them. If certain TV makes you feel sad, change the channel. All of those things are fine to a healthy brain but one that is depressed needs as much positive stimulation as possible   Just say NO Don't take on any more responsibility than you need to. For me, I was used to always being the one who volunteered to throw a party or help out in school. When Remy was spending so much time having seizures, and it took all of our focus, I needed to drop anything that was essential. The things that I didn't drop, got so little of my attention, it only made me more stressed out that I couldn't show up the way I was used to. Just say NO   Don't make any huge life decisions You know that move you always wanted to make across the state or that job you really wanted to take. You know how you always wanted another child, stop those conversations and don't move. Making decisions during times of crisis and depression only lead to more suffering and stress and overwhelm. Hold off on those big decisions unless they immediately alleviate something challenging. For example, if moving across state gets you closer to family or better doctors, suck up the move and go. If you just think it would be nice to live in another house, stay where you are and think about that in a year.   GET HELP Go see a therapist or doctor. You need to do whatever is necessary to be the best version of you. Even if that stretches your finances. There is only one you, and it's your job to make sure you are ok. If you can't find childcare, bring your child with you or do an appointment over skype or the phone. Don't let anything get in your way of getting the right help or right medication.   Bonus- Do whatever it takes What worked for me, is to listen to a gazillion podcasts, youtube videos and read tons of self-help books. It was vital for me to drown out all the negative thoughts that I was so addicted to. With seeing a different perspective, I started to look at the lessons in every heartache and the joy of the good moments. I learned the practice of worrying less and living in the moment. Below there are some links to some of the videos that I have LOVED.   (I didn't mention these in the episode but they are also VERY helpful for getting you in a better state of mind. Eat whole foods, exercise and meditate. Youtube how to do that, I am still learning myself)   If you are in a season of depression just know that you are not alone, it's entirely normal to be going through depression and you CAN get better.   Links Here are some of the suggested links you can check out. The first is a link to a webpage for a podcast I highly suggest about depression   Amy Porterfield podcast episode on depression. This episode was done beautifully.
