Andrew Bowering Apollo Silver Interview with Andrew Bowering Apollo Silver #ApolloSilver #Silver #AndrewBowering Hi, and welcome to the show! On today's My Future Business Show I have the pleasure of welcoming to the show, co-founder and independent chair of the board at Apollo Silver, Andrew Bowering, to talk about his journey with Apollo, silver mining, characteristics that make silver so attractive, and importantly, how you can invest in Apollo Silver. Apollo Silver Stock Symbol: [OTC: APGOF] – [TSXV: APGO] Andrew is a venture capitalist and public markets expert with 30 years' experience. He started out as the owner/operator of a drilling company, later becoming a stock broker and, within a few years, a public company executive and financier, and has since founded, funded and developed a wide range of businesses, with a particular focus on the natural resource sector. Andrew has been responsible for the acquisition and sale of high-profile assets, and the raising of over $250M in development capital. Companies of note include Millennial Lithium, American Lithium and Prime Mining. For context, during the call Andrew shares how Apollo Silver offers a unique diversification to anyone who wants to be involved in the silver sector in the safest and most stable jurisdictions, all without much competition. Andrew also shares how in the coming months; Apollo Silver will be engaged in three main de-risking and value-adding activities: 1. Drilling - projects the company owns are past-producing silver mines; meaning the silver is present and the value-add is in modernizing the drilling process, going deep and using state-of-the-art technologies. 2. Issuing a NI 43-101 report on the resources. This is going to bring its historical silver resources up to standard code and, basically, legitimize the over 100M ounces of silver the company owns. 3. Look into making additional acquisitions to further build its North-American project portfolio. Due to the calibre of the board of directors and management, institutions are practically lined up to participate in financing Apollo Silver. Names like Sprott, Jupiter Investments UK, Crescat Capital (Quinton Hennigh), Desjardins Group (Quebec), billionaire investor Carlo Civelli, Terra Capital from Australia, Commodity Capital Luxembourg, and more. This call not only reveals a lot about Apollo Silver, it also provides insight into what motivates Andrew to deliver returns for investors. Natural resources are Andrew's passion, and on this call, Andrew opens up and shares some insights into Apollo Silver as an opportunity, but also, talks about what it takes to take an early-stage venture, and turn it into a profitable mining company. Interview with Andrew Bowering, CEO of Prime Mining (TSX-V:PRYM) Prime Mining is a TSX-listed gold explorer and developer with assets in Mexico. The primary focus is on the Los Reyes gold-silver project. Prime Mining has changed it's plan a lot since we last spoke in December. The business plan was originally to start producing gold as soon as possible. The Resource was around 530Koz of economically mineable gold and 10Moz of silver, all sitting near-surface. This would have theoretically enable Prime Mining to be producing 65-70Koz annually in around 2-years' time. At the time, Bowering stated that attaining cash flow in the fastest possible time would enable his company to fund additional drilling, expand the resource and ramp up operations. This seemed prudent given a gold price rising above US$1,700/oz has led some commentators into a speculation frenzy: possible US$2,000/oz gold? What does the plan look like now? Growing out the gold resource to 3-5Moz is the order of the day. If the exponential rise in share price is anything to go by, this looks like a good decision. Why did it change? A 500,000-600,000oz gold project was solid, but unspectacular. Once Prime Mining got "stuck into" the Resource, it became clear that is was much bigger than they first anticipated. The original plan was a low-CAPEX, heap-leach operation. For c. US$25M Prime Mining would have been in production at 60-70,0000oz pa, paying off its expenditure in 6-months, with a 3-4-year run-life before shareholder payback becomes a pressing concern. The big issue that Bowering identified with the plan was recovery rates. By implementing this strategy, Prime Mining would have only recovered c. 70% of its gold and c. 25% of its silver. The new resource, announced April 2nd, is the catalyst behind this share price leap. After just 7 to 8-months of surface work, Prime Mining has now announced a 1Moz deposit. This would produce gold via a much more efficient CIL operation, which would allow Prime Mining to have recovery rates of 95% for gold, and 75-80% for silver. These economics are transformative, and with a new CIL plant planned, Prime Mining can avoid leaving c. US$250M on a leach pad. Now it's time to see just how big this Resource is. Bowering sees little prudence in conducting an engineering study right now when the true scale of the resource could be much larger. He'll need to keep timing in mind though because gold won't stay this hot forever. The big institutional names that Prime Mining has managed to bring to the table have always served as a hint that the company could be on to something much bigger. With gold running up past US$1,700/oz, Bowering is confident there will be no shortage of available capital for gold exploration companies. What does this figure look like? Between US$6-10M now, and then depending on the potential scale of the project, US$20M-30M next year to conduct infill drilling. Bowering's lips are sealed on strategic partners, but he states that fundraising will occur via a simple equity financing. Bowering is being trusted to run this thing: that can only be a good sign. Some board changes are likely afoot because these new partners bring "a lot of clout" to this Mexican gold operation. Being the largest shareholder in Prime Mining, Bowering is likely to consider these decisions carefully.Looking at the timeline for production, Bowering hasn't set anything in concrete. However, the drilling company Prime Mining would like to use has made an application to the Mexican government. most of the drilling is on existing roads, so it shouldn't require new permits. He plans to start drilling for gold and silver as soon as possible, despite COVID-19-induced disruption. Social distance drilling looks a strange, new norm. Bowering then touches on Prime Mining's extremely strong relationship with the local Mexican community.Company page: https://primeminingcorp.ca/Make smarter investment decisions, subscribe here: https://www.cruxinvestor.comFor FREE unbiased investment information, follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook:https://twitter.com/cruxinvestorhttps://www.linkedin.com/company/crux-investor/https://www.facebook.com/cruxinvestorTake advantage, hear it here first: https://www.youtube.com/CRUXinvestor
Dr. David Bowering says while the province is doing an overall good job of responding to COVID-19, he'd like to see more information and control given over to local health authorities. He would also like to see work camps shut down to stop the spread. Dr. Bowering speaks with Carolina de Ryk.
Interview with Andrew Bowering, CEO of Gold and Silver company Prime Mining (TSX-V:PRYM) c.$700 AISC.Prime Mining Corporation is a collection of successful capital markets mining executives and experienced local operators with specific locational knowledge. Prime Mining has built a new, near term gold producer, the Los Reyes project in Sinaloa, Mexico, which has been historically productive. Decades of detailed technical studies and fieldwork have been poured into the development of Los Reyes to position it as an advanced, cost-effective opportunity poised for rapid advancement. Los Reyes is a gold mine that Bowering hopes to have fully operational within 2 years. Prime Mining only went public on September 3rd.Los Reyes has already had c. USD$20m spent on it over the course of the last 20 years by various companies. It has been through PFS and all the way up to a PEA before. With the sheer quantity of drilling and studying performed on the area, one might be worried why companies have shied away from advancing it to the production stage in the past. However, Bowering explains this was not down to a deficiency in the promise of Los Reyes and was instead down to general company incompetencies of the ownership at the time. Prime Mining initially put c. $1.8m into the project, so one would hope this information is solid. Bowering claims experts say it could have as much as 1.5-2Moz of gold resource. The business plan at Prime Mining is to get things going as soon as possible. There are around 530Koz of well-established, economically mineable gold and 10Moz of silver sitting at surface. They could be producing 65-70Koz annually in just over 24-months, cost-effectively. Bowering admits Prime Mining's knowledge of the ore body still needs some work. As far as Bowering is concerned, the sooner they have cash flow from the mine, the sooner they can upgrade the project and make it bigger. Bowering also promises a new resource, on top of the 530Koz, to be revealed in the next 45 days. It will be "bigger than what the market knows," and will sit at surface.Bowering claims the company is financed via their upcoming new resource, and by the future PEA that will add value to the company. Finance is secured until mid-2020. Prime Mining came public with an $8.7M financing; Bowering himself contributed a large sum towards the financing, in addition to previous investments of USD$2M in March/April, but is admirably yet to remunerate himself. The $8.7M is accounted for via general infrastructure transactions, including equipment, road cleaning, paying back debts, geology, drilling and engineering. Prime Mining currently has c. USD$4M in cash. The community of Sinaloa has a good relationship with Prime Mining, courtesy of the road cleanup and Prime Mining's commitment to bring water to the location during the two dry summer months. Payments to the community are minimal and in Bowering's own words, they keep everyone happy. The entire management team swapped out their first-year salary for equity in the company at CAD$0.30 per share. Bowering takes no salary, and money is only ever spent on marketing. This is unusual and very encouraging for prospective gold investors; they are putting their money where their mouths are and are putting all the money they can into the ground.Bowering also touches on Prime Mining's management team, who have exceptional track records, and upcoming PEA/permitting announcements. One issue on the horizon for Prime Mining is liquidity. With such large amounts of the company being owned by few insiders, will this detract from the companies growth moving forward? Bowering feels at such an early stage on the market, control is more important than liquidity. Prime Mining currently sits at CAD$0.30 with a market cap of CAD$18M.Company page: https://primeminingcorp.ca/ Make smarter investment decisions, subscribe here: https://www.cruxinvestor.com For FREE unbiased investment information, follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook:https://twitter.com/cruxinvestor https://www.linkedin.com/company/crux-investor/ https://www.facebook.com/cruxinvestorTake advantage, hear it here first: https://www.youtube.com/CRUXinvestor
