As R2R Electric, Chris Vincent builds exacting copies of classic 1960s fuzz, boost, and wah pedals using old components. It's a unique business model where Chris has to devote more time to sourcing and testing vintage transistors than he does actually building pedals. When he does release a batch of new pedals on Reverb, demand is through the roof. They typically sell out in a day or so. On this week's podcast, Chris stops by the FJ and tells us about the quirks of building brand new, but mostly old pedals. We talk about how he sources and tests his parts, how he got hooked on vintage pedals, and about some of his favorite products. Chris is arguably best known by his Instagram handle, @djlavalamp. He was an early guest on our Truth About Vintage Amps and he participated in our early pandemic project #FJFest with a behind-the-scenes video submission. It was great to catch up with this in-demand pedal maker right before his next pedal drop. https://www.r2relectric.com If you enjoy this episode, please leave us a review on Apple Podcasts and consider joining the Fretboard Journal's new Patreon page. Teresa Connors, Payment Matters · During the pandemic a number of banks introduced measures such as mortgage holidays to help people cope with the extraordinary circumstances they found themselves in. Ideal Para Llevarte O Regalar Productos Del Podcats De Ivoox.

Recent encounters between black bears and visitors to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness has the U.S. Forest Service considering a food storage order on certain lakes. If implemented, the order would aim to reduce the likelihood of negative encounters between BWCA visitors and bears, according to Superior National Forest spokesperson Joanna Gilkeson. The Forest Service enacted a food storage order for a collection of lakes at the end of the Gunflint Trail in 2020 due to bear activity. The WTIP Boundary Waters Podcast was informed in recent weeks of multiple incidents involving canoe campers and bears in the BWCA. During one incident from July 15 on Duncan Lake in the Middle Gunflint Trail area, four bears aggressively pursued a hanging food pack at a campsite. According to reports, the bears, a sow, yearling and two cubs, would not flee even when whistles were blown and pots and pans were banged together. Additional reports of bear encounters surfaced days later on nearby Rose Lake. Podcast host Joe Friedrichs spoke with Chris Vincent from St. Francis, Minn., about his experience with several bears on Rose Lake from July 17. This short track shares Chris's story.

Majority of Ghanaian celebrities should be now be aware of the power of Ghanacelebrities.com but it seems most of them still don't understand or appreciate the platform. The Website which has been breaking news on Ghanaian celebrities for over a decade has a strong reputation for being factual and accurate when it comes to their stories, therefore it is surprising that even today celebrities will threaten to sue the platform when stories are published about them. Recently, the chief editor for Ghanacelebrities.com, Chris Vincent published an article talking about how broke Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei is and how he had to purchase a plane ticket for him to visit the Cannes Festival. He alleged that the actor refused to pay him back and not only that but the actor owes Kwame A Plus a popular musician some money as well. Many people have started insulting the founder and editor of Ghanacelebrities.com with some calling him Gay and all sorts of names. Nana Aba Anamoah who recently exposed her colleague for taking her to a juju woman is friends with Chris and Ghanacelebrities.com broke the news plus revealed the woman's name leading to a court case but like many suits brought against the website, they are most likely to end up nowhere. The Wahaala Boys ask the question "Why do people still bother with suing Ghanacelebrities.com? and shouldn't celebrities be better informed?". #Ghanacelebries.com #NanaAbaAnamoah #ChrisVincent #Ghana #Ghanacelebritis #PrinceDavidOsei #WahaalaBoysPodcast #Ghanamovies #Ghanamusic #Ghanacelebritygossip

Quotes “I’ve been told that I’ve got a face for radio and a voice for print.” – Chris V.“He comes walking up in the door, and I thought I was getting mugged. I didn’t know what was happening!” – Chris Vincent “When I got to orientation, I came with about $2 in my pocket and maybe $100 left back at the house for the wife and the kids. And I just kept praying about it, saying ‘I can’t fail my family.’”“God’s going to have a plan for me, whether I’m going to stay in trucking or I’m going to get out and do something in the ministry. And it just turns out that the lower 48 states became my ministry.” “Folks say, ‘I don’t even see the tattoos. I don’t see the big, scary guy. I just see a man with a kind heart.’” Pictures Links Matthew 28:19 A video by Calvin’s daughterBanana Bow Co.

Chris Vincent chief editor and founder of Ghanacelebrities.com got into a debate with some girls on Facebook about the notion of a house of wife. According to the girls, the idea of a house wife is degrading to women and women should not subscribe to that since it is a man's way of controlling them. The Ghana celebrities editor argues that why would any woman choose to work if their partner is happy to support them financially? He used the analogy of still working the same job after winning a million dollar lottery to back his argument. The Wahaala boys take a shot at the argument and ask, "when did it become insulting to women to be house wives?" Please do not forget to share, comment and subscribe. Also rate the podcast please.
