Military Life Insurance Explained: SGLI vs FSGLI vs VGLI vs VA Life (What Veterans Need to Know) Retired U.S. Air Force veteran Danny Johnson explains common military life insurance options and misconceptions, including SGLI, FSGLI, VGLI, and VA Life, and why many veterans mistakenly believe spouses and children are covered when most policies cover only the service member. He outlines that SGLI and FSGLI are term group policies that end after separation and notes key timing rules like the 120-day window to convert or enroll, with VGLI offering no medical questions but becoming very expensive as age increases. The Athletic's Ben Standig is back from Atlanta and talking about the Commanders' 24-16 victory over the Falcons, which Ron Rivera described as an "ugly road win." In what is the last day for fans to attend training camp in Ashburn, Virginia, the team practiced without pads.  The offense was sluggish as Sam Howell threw multiple interceptions and the receivers dropped double digit passes.  On the other side of the ball, Emmanuel Forbes was all over the field and continues to impress. On the injury front, Logan Thomas, Danny Johnson, Chase Young, Andrew Wylie, Saahdiq Charles, Charles Leno, Jonathan Allen Phidarian Mathis, Kendall Fuller and Dax Milne are all dealing with various injuries although none of them seem serious.
