We are in Primary season throughout the United States. Today, voters in Maryland, New York and Utah are going to the polls. Flying beneath the radar on so many races is CAIR Action (Council on American-Islamic Relations). Just today, CAIR Action sent out a press release saying their "team was on the ground and behind the scenes across multiple states, doing the essential work that moves elections. Endorsing candidates, mobilizing voters, and building the kind of relationships that turn a community into a constituency." They state this has officially become our most impactful cycle yet." Indeed, the slate of Islamic candidates is on the increase. In the words of Muslim activist Linda Sarsour, which you'll hear near the beginning of the broadcast, "We're also cleaning up Congress." Review this broadcast and consider the following: An interesting twist within this movement is the fact that there are not just Democrat Muslims running for office but Republican Muslims as well. What's the difference? Does this mean there is such a thing as a moderate Muslim after all? Egypt doesn't allow Hamas members to run for office yet we allow them to do so in America. Why, when we know that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is really Hamas? Is Islam really woven into the fabric of America's history as one audio clip alleges? Joining us is Usama Dakdok from the Straight Way of Grace Ministry.

When the Pope issues a direct condemnation of a sitting U.S. Defense Secretary, we aren't just talking about policy failure — we're talking moral apocalypse. CONTENT WARNING: Nothing too scandalous is talked about in this episode, but we do refer to the platform OnlyFans and if you are a parent, maybe listen to this episode first before letting someone under 18 listen! If you are under 18, please talk to your parent, guardian, or trusted adult before listening. With that said, this is our next episode in our series of "ethical debates" in climbing and sport. We start with the apparent glorification of danger, specifically free soloing and highballing and how it relates to the age of social media and click baiting. We then discuss how OnlyFans has been offering athletes contracts to endorse their platform and use it however they want to--we discuss whether this would change your career as a professional athlete or limit potential opportunities. That leads to a discussion about the use of athletes to garner positive public perception and how the "Enhanced Games" are doing just that for big pharma and venture capitol firms. We also go a bit more climbing specific and talk about whether it still counts as a "flash" if you've trained on a 3D printed replica before trying an outdoor boulder. This was spicier than our typical episodes so PLEASE let us know what you think!

Lahren also weighed in on how Democrats have become beholden to "activists... podcasters... and TikTokers," increasingly alienating normal centrists and voters. Lahren and Benson also blasted Gavin Newsom's bizarre lie about his upbringing and his backpedaling on his son's support for Charlie Kirk. Ruth Messinger needs no introduction to those who follow New York politics. Beginning in the 1970s, she built a more than 20–year career in public service, serving a decade on the New York City Council before becoming Manhattan borough president for eight years. In 1997, she made history as the first woman to win the Democratic nomination for mayor, defeating the Rev. Al Sharpton in a hard-fought primary. Beyond city politics, Messinger went on to lead the American Jewish World Service for nearly two decades and now serves as its inaugural Global Ambassador. Recently, Messinger has stepped back into the political arena, voicing her support for Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani — a striking move at a time when many veteran New York Democrats have held back. She joined NY1's Errol Louis to reflect on her long career of activism and public service, explain why she believes Mamdani's election is essential despite hesitation in parts of the Jewish community, and share her hopes for a New York City where she thinks working-class people can once again thrive.

On this episode, Sam and Josh unpack a landmark development for churches: the Internal Revenue Service's shift on the 1954 Johnson Amendment. In a joint court filing with two Texas churches and the National Religious Broadcasters, the IRS now affirms that clergy can endorse political candidates from the pulpit without risking their tax-exempt status. The IRS reframes such endorsements as comparable to a “private family discussion” within the congregation during worship—with statements made via usual church communication channels not qualifying as political intervention. The post The Johnson Amendment Reversal: Endorsing Political Candidates from the Pulpit appeared first on Church Answers.
