Picture this: You're told to ditch the hat if you want to be taken seriously. Instead, you double down, wear it louder—and your business explodes. In this juicy episode of Communication Queens, Kimberly Spencer sits down with Jamar Jones, founder of FourEva Media, for a no-BS conversation on how owning your vibe is the ultimate visibility strategy. From his hip hop roots to headlining keynote stages (yes, sometimes with a live performance), Jamar breaks down why 1,000 true fans are worth more than a million random likes—and how congruence is the secret sauce to building a magnetic personal brand. Together, they unpack: What “branding from the inside out” really means Why your childhood dreams and cringe moments are branding gold How falling on your ass (literally) can skyrocket your relatability When it's time to hire professionals to elevate your aesthetic The energetic difference between a business brand vs. personal brand Whether you're stepping out from behind the biz curtain or ready to stop blending in, this convo is your permission slip to get louder, weirder, and way more YOU—because the world doesn't need another copycat. It needs your story, your sparkle, and yes… your hat. Grab your mic, Queen. Let's brand from the soul.
You've got the spotlight, Queen—but are you turning heads and closing deals? In this high-voltage episode, Kimberly Spencer uncovers the seductive trap of visibility without conversion—and why it's the business equivalent of ghosting after a first date. Whether you're a newly certified coach, bestselling author, or a podcast-hopping powerhouse, chances are you've been told, “Just get visible!” But babe, visibility alone is a vanity metric unless it's paired with a bold, intentional sales strategy. Kimberly dives into how visibility opportunities—like guesting on podcasts or showing up on social media—only convert when aligned with real relationships and sales confidence. You'll learn how to avoid the one-night-stand approach to podcast guesting and start courting your audience like a Queen on a mission. From the art of follow-up to confidently making paid offers, this episode is a mic-drop masterclass in strategy, storytelling, and stepping into your worth. If you're ready to stop chasing clout and start cashing in, this one's your royal wake-up call.
What happens when you chase society's version of success—only to find yourself burnt out, boxed in, and wondering, “Is this it?” In this audacious episode of The Communication Queens Podcast, Kimberly Spencer chats with powerhouse coach Michelle Pollack, whose mission is to help high-achieving women redefine success from the inside out. From working with brands like Netflix and Bank of America to guiding visionary women leaders, Michelle shares her journey of shaking off the “shoulds,” surrendering perfection, and embracing the beautiful discomfort of beginning again. You'll hear how motherhood, layoffs, and her own inner work cracked open her next level of purpose—and how allowing herself to take one small step at a time led to a multi-six-figure empire grounded in authenticity. We go deep into the cultural conditioning that keeps women playing small, the truth about imposter syndrome (hint: it's not a bug—it's a signal), and how to balance masculine drive with feminine intuition in leadership. Expect bold truth bombs, heartfelt storytelling, and the kind of clarity that lights a fire in your belly. This isn't about chasing success—it's about becoming the woman who defines it for herself.
What if one podcast interview could unlock clients, credibility, and cash flow—without shelling out for another dime-sucking ad campaign? In this electrifying episode of Communication Queens, host Kimberly Spencer (your media strategist BFF with a mic and a mission) uncovers the often-overlooked goldmine of guest podcasting. Spoiler: It's not just a buzzword. It's a business strategy for queens who are ready to be heard, be seen, and get paid. You'll discover how landing one high-impact podcast appearance can create evergreen content, social proof, and soul-aligned visibility that lasts longer than your last Instagram Reel. Kimberly walks you through real examples—including spontaneous partnerships born mid-interview—and breaks down how podcasting builds instant credibility without lifting a finger (after the mic drops). Whether you're a thought leader, CEO, or purpose-driven powerhouse, this episode lays out the four core leverages of podcast guesting: visibility, time, social proof, and relationships. You'll leave knowing exactly how to turn your voice into value and your story into strategy. So if you're done screaming into the void of social media hoping someone hears you—this episode is the amplifier you've been waiting for. Press play and prepare to own the mic.
What if the story you were afraid to speak… was the one someone desperately needed to hear? In this raw, radiant, and revealing first-ever podcast interview, I sit down with writer and first-time speaker Leah Vidal Carrosquilla (aka Little Miss Wordy), author of Light Up the Sky—a 365-day devotional crafted for young male athletes craving strength, faith, and self-worth in a world full of noise. But Queen, this episode is so much more than a chat about publishing a book. It's a behind-the-scenes breakdown of what it means to transform personal grief into global impact. Leah takes us on an intimate journey from coffee chats with her late mom to hearing God's nudge to "write the dang thing" for her son—when nothing else on the shelves spoke his language. You'll hear how one teacher's words nearly crushed her writing dreams—and how her own storytelling superpower resurrected them. We explore identity, healing, and what happens when you stop hiding behind the page and start owning your voice (even in a Mad Hatter costume, yep!). If you've ever doubted your right to be heard, THIS is your sign to speak your truth—out loud.
Ever wonder how some entrepreneurs seem to do it all—run thriving brands, parent like a boss, AND stay consistent with their content? In this episode of Communication Queen, Kimberly Spencer pulls back the velvet curtain on the transformational strategy that powers her content machine: the 3:1 Ratio. What's the 3:1 Ratio? It's not just a productivity hack—it's a QUEEN strategy rooted in storytelling and leverage. Kimberly reveals how one golden nugget from a client convo, podcast ep, or coaching session turns into a kingdom of content—from social posts to email funnels, podcast topics, and beyond. With three kids (including a newborn), multiple businesses, and a best-selling book on deck, Kimberly walks her talk—and shows you how you can, too. This episode isn't about doing more. It's about doing smarter. Simpler. Louder. And in true Queen style: with unapologetic purpose. Whether you're burnt out from creating one-off content or you're just ready to scale without sacrificing your sanity, this episode will flip the script on how you think about marketing. Grab your crown, press play, and prepare to reign over your content strategy like never before.
What if you treated your LinkedIn profile like your podcast's VIP backstage pass? In this episode of Communication Queens, we're marrying the power of podcasting with the profitability of LinkedIn—and the results are straight
What if the secret to freedom wasn't in a flashy startup or the next big trend… but in notes? In this power-packed, soul-stirring episode, Kimberly Spencer sits down with note investor, wealth coach, and absolute powerhouse Hànanda Whittingham, who shares her jaw-dropping journey from walking away with just $162 to multiplying her net worth by 1,000% in five years. Yup—Queen didn't just survive, she THRIVED. But this convo is about more than money. It's about integrity as your north star, why visibility is both a business strategy and a personal revolution, and how your story doesn't need everyone's permission—just your power. Hànanda unpacks how note investing creates real safety for women—like, the kind of safety that lets you walk away from toxic jobs, relationships, or anything that dims your light. She shares the heart-wrenching story that sparked her mission and how she helps women step into their role as first lien holders—aka financial QUEENS. If you've ever felt paralyzed by fear, unsure what to share, or stuck in a cycle of “meh” mediocrity, this episode is your invitation to rise. This is not just a conversation—it's a transformational transmission for every woman who's ready to own her wealth, her worth, and her damn crown.
Ever feel like your voice has to be wrapped in perfection before the world can hear it? In this raw, real, and radically empowering episode, Kimberly Spencer strips down the podcasting process — literally ditching her microphone — to show you how simple it can be to share your story now, not someday. With her newborn nursing in one arm and her laptop balanced between her knees, Kimberly broadcasts this episode from the corner of her couch — no pop filter, no studio, no problem. Because when your message is a mission, perfection is optional. She dives deep into how the “shoulds” we stack up — the professional mic, the polished setup, the perfect timing — are often the very obstacles blocking our impact. You'll learn how to reframe resistance, simplify your systems, and let go of performance pressure so your story can do what it was born to do: connect, convert, and catalyze transformation. Whether you're a podcaster, coach, speaker, or content creator, this episode is a heartfelt permission slip to let your voice be heard — as messy, magical, and meaningful as it is. Your voice is your power, Queen. Don't let a missing mic silence your message.
You don't earn your crown by buying a seat on a spaceship. You earn it by boldly owning your truth—and amplifying it with integrity. In this fiery episode of Communication Queens, Kimberly Spencer unpacks the spaceflight-sized gap between performative visibility and authentic visibility. Using the recent blUE Origin PR stunt—a celeb-filled "all-female space crew" joyride—as a cautionary tale, Kimberly dishes out a no-fluff lesson in what happens when marketing trades substance for spectacle. You'll get real about the difference between “look-at-me” illusions and soul-aligned messaging that actually moves people. Kimberly breaks down why modern audiences are done being duped, how bro marketing just got a glittery bra, and what it really means to shine without faking the spotlight. Expect juicy storytelling, real talk about PR integrity, and actionable tips to help you stop performing and start positioning from a place of purpose. You'll also get a sneak peek into her bestselling book Make Every Podcast Want You and how podcast guesting is your ticket to true empire expansion—no spaceship required. This isn't just another marketing masterclass. It's a wake-up call for any Queen ready to ditch the performance and own her voice like the media mogul she is.
Queen, ever feel like your biz is being held together by duct tape and sheer willpower? Been there. In this raw, real, and ridiculously empowering comeback episode, Kimberly Spencer takes the mic after a 5-month visibility break and drops the truth bombs we all need to hear. This isn't just a return—it's a reinvention. From navigating a surprise health scare during pregnancy, to shifting her business model from “done-for-you” to “done-with-you” consulting, Kimberly shares the messy middle most people skip. She cracks open the mindset myths around taking breaks (no, you won't lose everything) and shows how data, not drama, is the real GPS for recalibrating your visibility strategy. You'll hear why breaks are not only allowed—they're necessary for sustainable success. Learn how to reconnect with your core values, shift from vanity metrics to meaningful ones, and align your visibility with your actual life (not someone else's highlight reel). This episode is your permission slip to pause with purpose—and come back stronger, louder, and more aligned than ever. Because Queen, your voice isn't just content... it's a catalyst for change.
