Česká vláda v posledních týdnech ukázala, co chce dělat v ekonomice. Vládnou tomu dvě Z: zastrašování a zadlužování.Od ledna 2027 bude platit elektronická evidence tržeb (EET), která se má týkat až 600 tisíc podnikatelů a živnostníků. Přestože ještě před pár lety vynesla jednotky miliard korun, chce ministryně financí tímto způsobem vybrat až 14 miliard korun. Podobně chce opět rozjet akci Kobra 26, tedy sérii razií a kontrol proti švarcsystému a nelegálnímu zaměstnávání, což prý má vynést až 23 miliard korun. Odvolává se přitom na zprávu NKÚ, která se svým šetřením zabývala především érou první vlády Andreje Babiše.Zcela přelomový je ovšem institut tzv. únikových doložek. Stručně řečeno, státní rozpočet se rozdělí na část řádnou, z níž se bude platit provoz státu (penze, zdravotnictví, provoz, platy úředníků), a mimořádnou, do níž budou započítávány velké investice do dálnic, železnic, energetických projektů a dalších věcí.Tohle rozdělení má vytvořit dojem, že lze ze zadlužení uniknout zadním vchodem, aniž by se to promítlo do celkového státního dluhu nebo deficitu státního rozpočtu. Je to čistá Potěmkinova vesnice, na niž finanční trhy, které určují podle kondice ekonomiky úročení dluhů, nikdy nepřistoupí.Že budeme svědky utahování šroubů, o tom svědčí návrh zákona o ochraně ekonomických zájmů, který vytváří z Finančně analytického útvaru ministerstva financí novou zpravodajskou službu s rozsáhlými pravomocemi. Má tu tedy vzniknout útvar s mimořádnými pravomocemi pronikat do všech účtů bez ohledu na stanovisko soudů.Tenhle mix zastrašování a zadlužování je novým podložím, z něhož vyroste nová realita života v České republice.

Summer of 1992: a year after my high school graduation, I visited Japan for the first time in 12 years. We had the pleasure of interviewing Kobra Paige over Zoom video!Kobra Paige releases the title track “Like No Other” off her debut solo album Like No Other to be released on August 30th. The title track, co-written with Lizzy Hale (Halestorm) and Joe Hottinger (Halestorm) alongside producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Halestorm, Alice In Chains) showcases the depth and soul behind the creation of the entire album.“Like No Other” was later completed by Kobra at producer Brian Howe's (Skillet, Daughtry, Linkin Park) Black Stove Studios in 2021 where the addition of Sitar was introduced. This paid tribute to a part of Kobra's upbringing which involved many years of seva (service), with her family, at an ashram in southern India.Kobra says, “This song is the heartbeat of the album and the distillation of what, I believe to be, life's journey. If I were to share my essence and experience of what I know about being human, in one song, this would be it. LNO speaks to the recognition of our mind, body, and spirit as the one ‘home' we truly have in this lifetime. We are its sacred keeper and there's no limit to the number of times we can rebuild or change its path.”Kobra shares, “As we move through this song, you will hear a sonic blend of worldly drums and Indian Sitar blended with the cozy Dobro and various acoustic and electric guitar layers. This is to express the beautiful paradox of our individuality in this world while simultaneously being plugged into the tapestry of a collective. The vocals are confident yet bare to the rawness of how lonely life can still feel, despite being surrounded by so many others. The ebb and flow of forward then backward motion, we experience all the time, is expressed and celebrated for the strength it takes to keep going through the adversities we face. In the pre-chorus, we have Fleetwood Mac-esque vocal layers, some company for a weary soul. Finally, the chorus holds the wisdom and the key. I speak of the very ancient wisdom of water and use its powerful metaphor as a beacon of remembrance to everyone. One of the most difficult parts of this life- journey is to surrender and cease resisting that which we can't control. To flow like water is a great aspiration as it patiently shapes things over time, does not force itself, and yet moves powerfully when needed. Finally, a gift for us all.
