In this episode Jo Youle sits down with guest No.199 Lee Bennett, the dynamic promoter of the iconic Bagleys nightclub and the visionary behind London's Walk of Fame who now lives in Ibiza. Lee, whose career has spanned decades in the entertainment and nightlife industries, shares insights into his fascinating journey, from bringing some of the most memorable parties to life at Bagleys to honouring London's most celebrated artists and performers on his very own Walk of Fame.  Lee's dedication to preserving and celebrating the essence of London's cultural scene is as strong as ever, and his stories paint a vivid picture of an era that defined nightlife for a generation. Jo and Lee dive into the heyday of Bagleys, discussing what made the venue a mecca for club-goers and music lovers in the '90s and early 2000s. Lee reminisces about the electric energy that defined Bagleys, where genres collided, and the most innovative DJs took to the decks, pushing the boundaries of underground music culture. He shares the challenges and thrills of promoting events during a time when London's nightlife was a hotbed for creativity and connection. As they explore the vibrant past of Bagleys, listeners get a firsthand account of the club's legacy and its lasting impact on London's music landscape. Love this podcast? Creating an impactful podcast requires a thoughtful combination of detailed planning, accurate production, and successful promotion. In this episode, we delve into the steps needed to achieve this task with a clear understanding of what this endeavour entails and the actionable steps necessary for that can help us enjoy the process, create quality and connect with the audience. Here are some of the steps on how to develop a compelling podcast: 1. Define Your Podcast's Purpose: Clearly articulate the purpose, theme, and intended audience of your podcast. A well-defined concept provides a roadmap for your content. 2. Plan Your Episodes: Devise a content calendar outlining topics and episode structures. This planning ensures consistency and coherence in your podcast. 3. Invest in Quality Equipment: Acquire reliable recording equipment, including a quality microphone and headphones. Exceptional audio quality is fundamental for retaining a dedicated listener base. 4. Create Engaging Content: Deliver content that is valuable, entertaining, or informative. Tailor your content to the interests and needs of your target audience. 5. Choose Your Style: Decide on the format of your podcast—whether it will be scripted or follow a more spontaneous, conversational style. Align your style with your content and audience preferences. 6. Editing for Precision: Edit your podcast meticulously to enhance clarity. Eliminate background noise, filler words, and any superfluous elements. A polished presentation elevates the overall listener experience. 7. Develop a Captivating Intro and Outro: Craft an engaging introduction that sets the tone for your podcast. Conclude with a compelling outro that includes a call-to-action to encourage listener engagement. 8. Maintain Consistent Branding: Establish a recognizable brand identity with consistent artwork, logo, and promotional materials. Consistent branding contributes to a professional and cohesive image. 9. Establish a Publishing Schedule: Commit to a regular publishing schedule, whether it's weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Consistency is key for building and retaining an audience. 10. Leverage Social Media and Promotion: Jo is a creative audio specialist and makes podcasts for a wide variety of clients across the board from wellness brands to music events from her home in Ibiza. As a freelance journalist and radio presenter for the past 20 years, Jo has hosted everything from news programmes & current affairs shows to her own dance music show on Saturday nights on Juice 107.2 and the 6 Mix for BBC 6 Music where she reported from live music events and awards ceremonies around the world working as a music journalist in London. We finish with a trip to Juntos  farm to chat to Transformational chef, Erikah Tangari and discuss the way we can use every part of the food we produce to maximise the way we experience it and work with it so as not to create extra waste in her zero food workshop.

In Episode 03 of Amar La Tierra, journalist Jo Youle hosts 3 local farmers on Ibiza farm Can Cristofol in San Lorenzo at sunset, to discuss how and when the soil should be tilled.    It is a controversial topic for many.  Often we are told it is a local tradition and that the Balearic Red earth has been tilled for hundreds of years, but machines only came to be fifty years ago.    Before that many animals were involved in this process and tilling was done by hand.    In this series, you can hear the details of the many regenerative practices taking place on the islands explored through the podcast that protect and preserve the lands of Ibiza, Formentera, Mallorca and Menorca.     Youri heads up the stewardship of the land at Can Criostofol and he creates raised beds that he makes and tills by hand. We also hear from Roberto Contaldo - the "Italian Horse Whisperer"  in the episode who works with Equitraccion, to turn the top soil and plough the earth when needed.    Borja Cami also joins the trio as an experienced agronomist who works with large and small scale farms across the mainland and also within the Balearics. Borja contributes the perspective of tilling from a larger scale production and showcases the ways tilling is needed with machines, but says it is all about the timing and structure of the soil at certain times of year.    This Episode was recorded LIVE in front of an audience at In June as a launch party & fundraiser for the show with a farm to table dinner that followed, provided by Gabrielle Gambina of Ibiza Produce.     If you wish to keep hearing the stories of the islands rich red soil, please support the production of the series on our crowdfunding page.  https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/AmarLaTierra   You can hear the episode in Spanish:   https://open.spotify.com/show/1BILqNQkZC6UM50KHnIKJo?si=ff2badf26c8d4e21   You can watch it on Youtube:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5hpN8NXiOY     A massive Thank you also to our sponsors:  BlackNose Wines Vino Y Co  Gooldtooth Vermouth Charles Marlow

Giancarlo is a neo-culture entrepreneur involved in regenerative films, he is the brainchild behind Mangu. tv which is home to this podcast series as well as other commissioned films based around sex, regeneration and psychedelics. He is at the forefront of Ibiza's agricultural scene and recently launched Terra Viva, a fully regenerative agricultural farm when he and his family moved to Ibiza from New York a few years ago. As well as Tierra Viva he is currently regenerating the Sa Penya district of the old town of Ibiza, with a vision to breathe life back into the area.  Giancarlo discusses his journey through trauma, healing, psychedelics, cosmic consciousness and regeneration. He speaks about his interest in positive transformation as well as sharing his personal story, and how hitting rock bottom in 2002 was a catalyst for change. Through rehabilitation, psychedelics and discovering a deeper connection to consciousness he was able to drop his egoic armour and find inner authenticity and peace. Jo and Giancarlo discuss the future of regenerative practices in Ibiza, and ways they feel the wider community can support and live sustainably by buying food locally and eating consciously. Giancarlo shares his vision to help people in discovering their vulnerability and the courage to feel vulnerable, and therefore grow – that's regeneration for him.

Ibiza's very first book of historical fiction has landed. A book rammed with adventures of the first settlers that came to ibiza before the Greeks and the Romans in 650 BC. It's a period when the Western Mediterrenean was quite unexplored and there were suspicions, Ibiza might have had a sad, depleted tribe on it, left over from the Bronze Ages and the story centres around a girl, who may have remained rom the inhabitants before these new comers arrived. Pine Tree island is the first novel written by today's guest, Ben Dunwell and he hopes it could form part of a trilogy. Recent times, were not the most inspirational for Ben and he shares his trials and tribulations, like all of us, to stay creative in such turbulence and also his story of how he came to the island for the very first time to study as a clown, as you do! The book has been published by Barbary Press and is out at all good Ibiza Book Stores  -  also in San Juan, where Ben lives with his family. Happy Valentines Day... What better way, when it feels like the world needs a collective hug, to start, with a man in history who did that pretty well with his words, his reggae lyrics and everything he stood for on stage?  That man was Mr Robert Nesta Marley, a man who graced these fine white sands back in 1978 for a very special one off gig, which we are lucky to have part of the LIVE recording of in todays One Love Valentines special episode.  It was captured in the crowd by a fan at the old Bull Ring in Es Pratet. It is not recorded live from stage or pro style and it has definitely not been captured in the VIP area either.  All the interviews have also not been done in quality, due to the circumstances, so today we ARE coming to your ears, raw, rugged and rebellious. But it is the REAL DEAL and thats the number one thing most people admired about Bob Marley. We speak to the man who played a big part of organising the show on June 28th 1978, Jose Pascuale who is Preseident of the DJ Awards.  We also hear from  Fransec Fabregas  -  the photographer  standng on the tarmac to greet Bob and The Wailers as they landed more then 40 years ago. He credits this largely due to his lifetstyle on the island, his active job and the way he spends time in nature, eats well, moves a lot and keeps his intake of the newspapers to a minimum #dontfeedthefears  Pop into todays episode to hear how he dealt with his own personal experience of Covid, or maybe you will catch him back telling his own take on the walking trails of ibiza soon, as he is almost back to full health.  Please do rate, subscribe and leave us a review here on Itunes and check out the latest plans for walks on the island at:  www.walkingibiza.com

In todays episode Jo Youle jumps in a taxi to Santa Agnes to pop to the villa of actress, fashion designer, film director, writer, mentor, mother, yogi and true Reset Rebel - Sadie Frost. The Primrose Hill resident was staying at our previous shows guests home, Kundalini teacher and healer,  Trish Whelan, so we took the opportunity to set up this chat, thanks to Trish, on the island to hear about her new film she made during lockdown about young people struggle with mental health, Contact. Sadie has had her own struggles with mental health and has faced her biggest fear of being locked up and over come her own experience of being Sectioned for 28 days when things deteriorated. She tells Jo all about the tools she now has in place to face those fears when they come back and how she has been through Recovery and stayed sober for four years when her anxiety peaked and she hit rock bottom. As a mother to four children, Sadie is hugely maternal and even adopted a child in Africa, called Lucky who she mentors and is writing film scripts together with to help give his life a boost. She credits her mothers introduction to yoga at a young age as a huge saving grace as well as her meditation practice and time reconnecting to her higher power through the serenity prayer and time on her matt. Sadie has also just bought Trish's new 40 days program and new book, The Essential Guide for Soul Adventurers (https://www.souladventures.co.uk/the-essential-guide-book) which she feels will be a huge RESET Tool in her life to keep her sane and also happy in these turbulent times. Angaharad Owen is an inspiration and 100% a Reset Rebel.  She has had several brushes with death, but has refused to take the traditional medical route to Re-cover from Cancer.  She has taken her own life in her hands  and rebelled three times to cheat what felt like a losing battle at times, but she has healed her own way on her own terms.  She has lived in ibiza on and off since she was 19 when the first lump appeared, but she turned down the "life saving" operation to take a trip to Thailand instead and after much relaxation, the lump started to shrink, until it left her completely.  She tells hostess Jo Youle in todays Podcast, she believes the lump, was caused by the sexual abuse she experienced as a child at the hands of a family member.  This took her on a major trip to explore her sexuality and find her path through Tantra, Breathwork, meditation and her faithful Jade Egg. Angharad really wishes to help women find their fire in the bedroom, or heal old sexual trauma as she also did and move beyond into sensation, to be comfortable in their own body and feel sexy again and really FEEL.  If you think she can help you, she has a course coming up soon. What was the effect of Lockdown on Ibiza?  How much did the ecosystems of the island get to breathe a sigh of relief? How were the farming industries affected?  The fishermen?  Is the Posedonia healthier now?   Is that why there are no jelly fish this year? Are the environmentalists jumping for joy the clubs are closed this summer?  These are all questions that you may have been pondering since the “new normal” emerged on ibiza.  We don’t have all the answers but we attempted to tackle the big issues on this episode of the Reset Rebel, as Jo Youle met up with Sandra Benbeniste from Ibiza Preservation.  We were shocked and a bit sad to learn Ibiza is just 0.3% on target to reach the desired 70% renewable energy goal and this is down to a tax on the sun in Spain which meant people couldn’t install solar power sources and farming tools.  In 2022 two solar parks are being created to help with this, but we are still a long way off and behind the rest of Europe. We are also talking Electric cars in this episode and why the island has quite a few large snakes on the loose. Drop in to todays show and mail us on justthegoodnewsplease@gmail.com with any comments and please subscribe, rate and reviews us on iTunes, we would be hugely grateful to keep the show at the top of the charts and more visible to those who haven’t heard is yet.  Check out the Posedonia Map we mention here:   https://ibizapreservation.org/

We Are Back. We have missed You! Exactly 4 months since we have been in your beautiful ears and we are super excited to share again. In todays episode, be warned this is a Jo Youle soliloquy. There is no guest, but I felt I owed you a little explanation of where I have been the past four months and during my lockdown journey back to Ibiza via India, UK, Belgium, Holland and beyond. It has been quite the ride.  It is the reason i didn't feel like making the podcast for a while.  Like you, I needed time to gather myself a little and now I am ready. If you are someone that reached out to me during this period, I am so grateful, to know you missed the show as much as i missed making it! You know who you are.  So this is the official book mark for the series to Re-Begin.  Many more shows coming up this summer and we hope you will stay with us for this one to one to get  Re-aquainted podcast, before we get back into the juicyness of the islands Reset Rebels.  www.theresetrebel.com Made by : @Resetrebelproductions

At the close of week number two of Indian lockdown podcast hostess Jo Youle takes a walk to GuruKul  - the place where she met Monty a year ago in Goa - Director of the documentary Magic Medicine about the trials of Psychosilibin on patients with depression in London. On this sneaky lunchtime stroll she reflects about the impact of lockdown in India, where 1.3 billion are being held at home - some without even a lock on their door and for  millions, creating a displacement as they battle to get back to their villages across the country.  It felt right to introduce todays guest at this moment, Mirella Ingamells, who holds the stance of Strong not skinny for women, which first attracted Jo our podcast hostess to her instagram page, as she holds workout session for Ibiza residents in a bid to knock them physically into shape.  What we are noticing from lockdown is that the only way though is to figh the daily mental ups and downs with strong workouts and if anyone does this best it is Mirella, a previous Sports model who has taken to the stage many times, to showcase the incredible physique she has cultivated through pure discipline and strength of will, determination and belief that she will reach her goals. If ever there was a time when we need to believe in our own strength? It is now. So we hope you enjpy listening to this chat between Jo - who also got shipped into shape at her workout groups sessions shortly afterwards.  We can confirm she is a Demon and huge inspiration to women to get strong, not be skinny and empower themselves.....

It all starts here...Welcome to the very first episode of The Mojo Podcast - thank you for taking the time to drop by. I started this podcast to enable brave and fascinating people to tell their mojo stories. How they lost their mojo and how they have managed to regain their mojo. Each deeply personal story is shared to allow listeners to better understand what mojo means to them and gain some inspiration to better manage their mojo. And this first episode is especially personal because it's my mojo story. I felt compelled to share my story before I could ask anyone else to talk about their mojo. I'm interviewed by Jo Youle of Reset Rebel Productions. We talk about my own definition of mojo - my essential energy - and how I focus on managing it everyday. We talk in depth about two key moments in my life when my mojo was especially low - during divorce and when my corporate job gave me less joy. All of which led to decisons to make change in my life in order to get the wind back into my sails. We cover areas such as fear of change, what we can control or influence and we cannot, being out of my comfort-zone, and what it took to set up my own business and relocate to Ibiza. We do talk about Ibiza a lot as I love it here. You can hear the sound of the waves from the beach we recorded on and, maybe, almost smell the pine trees that surrounded us. I really hope you enjoy this episode - it's a huge learning curve for me so feedback is all very welcome.
