It is still a sin that divides many. Hello! And welcome to the Dana Gould Hour Podcast's annual Halloween spectacular. Or spooktacular! Ha ha! Get it? Not spectacular but – okay, you get it. What a show we have for you today. Mike McCarty and James Knight are brothers, even if they don't have the same last name. And they are the hosts of a new horror podcast called The Head, the Tail and the Whole Damn Thing. It's not your ordinary horror podcast as you will soon learn. I have known Mike forever. He is a special effects make-up artist who has worked on Blade Runner 2049, Mind Hunter, The Exorcist, The Orville, Stan Against Evil, if anyone remembers that show. James is an actor and educator but together, they share a love of all things creepy, and, most importantly, they are great guys and they're super funny. Mike McCarty and James Knight. Also, Rob Zabrecky, or just Zabrecky, if you are a fan of magic, is here. Rob is an actor, and an author and a musician, a Valley kid, who has since gone on to become a professional illusionist and a walking encyclopedia if all things magic. Rob runs the Houdini seance at The Magic Castle and is here today to talk about the history of Midnight Spook Shows! He's also performing one at the Mayan Theater this month here in Los Angeles, but we have him right here, right now, Rob Zabrecky. True Tales From Weirdsville takes us on a deep dive on Dracula, from Bram Stoker's book to Hamilton Dean's west end production in the 1920's all the way up to Gary Oldman's fright wig. We'll discuss which film version is closest to the book, and why, but also ask, how much does that actually matter?

How can we stay sharp in 2023? Chef James Knight has some good ideas to connect hand and eye to body movement and keep the old cogs a turnin' next year by taking up some new past times in ibiza. Away from chef life with La Grande Bouffe Ibiza he is an active soul and has tried everything from dancing flamenco & Tango and Primal monkey movement to more sporty endeavours and strength work to keep trim while being in the kitchen. He is rather partial to butter and cream and now finds novel ways to stave off the extra inches from his waist by going the extra movement Mile. He is also a hangover guru, even though he no longer drinks and gave up five years ago, he was an expert once upon a time and creates us a hangover feast on this episode that you might wish to try on New Year's Day! Happy New Year! Thinking of starting a Podcast in 2023? James Knight is here hot on the heels of being announced as the director of the upcoming Halloween sketch show at Croassroads Comedy Theater. We get into life as an adult, growing up in Swedesboro (which apparently everyone does), and a whole lot more. We hope you're up on your Thomas Ian Nicholas trivia and are perplexed by how time passes. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/feelfeelings/message

Welcome back to the Humans of Agriculture podcast hosted by Oli Le Lievre. This week we sit down with James Knight, a farmer located at The Sisters down in South West Victoria. - James shares his story from City boy who fell in love with agriculture (and subsequently a country girl!) - James' story takes twist and turns through university, finding his feet, returning back to his wife's family property and then the need to head off again. - This conversation talks about mental health and the times where James found himself 'in the dark'. He found through seeking Professional help and the support of those closest to him that he was able to get his life back on his own terms. - James has sat in corporate farming operations as the operations manager at Warakirri Cropping, an assistant farm manager, and today how he and wife Georgie have grown the family business into the thriving business it is today. This episode of the Humans of Agriculture podcast was recorded on the country of the Girai Wurrung people, we pay our respects to their elders past, present and emerging.
