Nottingham Forest fans, get ready! The long-awaited transfer of Paraguayan winger Ramón Sosa could finally be reaching its climax. According to the reliable journalist John Percy, negotiations with Brazilian club Talleres are progressing well, and a medical might take place as early as this week if talks continue to advance! While there's still some work to be done, Percy's report suggests that both clubs are keen to finalize the deal. If negotiations continue on the right track, Sosa could be heading to Nottingham for a medical soon, potentially becoming the club's latest signing. Talks broke down last week after Forest change the terms of the agreement late on, but it seems now that a deal will happen for a around the £11m mark. Nottingham Forest is looking to make a statement by securing a top-tier striker before the deadline. Reports are linking Forest with two exciting names: Santiago Giménez from Feyenoord and Evanilson from Porto. Both players are known for their goal-scoring prowess, and Forest is prepared to spend big to bring one of them to the City Ground. Nottingham Forest have until June 30 to make sure they are PSR compliant or face a second Premier League points deduction. The Reds reportedly need to make around £20m in PSR profit but they could be close to getting over the line after the Daily Telegraph reported Forest are close to completing the sales of Orel Mangala to Lyon, while a move to Lyon is also possible for Moussa Niakhate for around £20m. John Percy reports that should be enough to get the club over the line. Meanwhile, the Telegraph and Brazilian media report Chelsea are keen to sign Murillo, with reports in Brazil saying Chelsea have offered a players plus cash deal, while other Premier League clubs are also said to be interested along with Atletico Madrid. In todays Nottingham Forest Transfer News, we dive into the latest transfer news and financial updates surrounding Nottingham Forest. The club is reportedly on the brink of avoiding a Profit and Sustainability Regulations (PSR) charge according to reporter John Percy, but there's a catch! To steer clear of penalties, Forest needs to sell midfielder Orel Mangala and some other fringe players before the crucial June 30th deadline. Nottingham Forest #nffc number one transfer target this summer is Ibrahim Sangaré according to reporter John Percy, the PSV player has been linked to Forest all summer and with a release clause understood to be around the £35 million mark, this would be an excellent signing. The Ivory Coast International has been linked with numerous clubs over the past few years, including #premierleague rivals Man Utd and Liverpool, but has yet to make the move from the Dutch league. With Sangare highly thought of around europe and with a number of other clubs interested in him, Forest might need to look at alternatives for the defensive midfielder position with the likes of Leicester City's Ndidi and Leeds Utd's Adam both reportedly on the shopping list of boss Steve Cooper. Also mentioned in John Percy's report is that #nottinghamforest are willing to sell Welsh wonderkid Brennan Johnson, if they received a fee of around £50 million.
