Once upon a time, in a magical garden, there lived a giant tomato named Mr Tomato. He was a jolly giant with a big, round shape and a bright red colour. Mr Tomato had three adorable daughters named Cherry, Plum, and Strawberry. What's that one song that always reminds you a summer holiday? Back in the day before streaming, you used to go on holiday and there would be that one song that would get played over and over and just remind of that time and place. Sometimes they would even have a dance routine that you would learn. We're talking Macarena, Cha Cha Slide, Las Ketchup etc.

Transcripción: Bien. Se acerca el verano y un buen tema para hablar en el pódcast es: las canciones de verano en España. ¿A qué me estoy refiriendo? Hablo de canciones que fueron muy famosas durante la época de verano. Estas canciones suelen ser muy pegadizas y animadas, y son las canciones que más escuchamos durante nuestras vacaciones. Con “pegadiza”, me refiero a que la letra de la canción te viene a la cabeza todo el tiempo y acabas cantándola. A lo largo de los años, ha habido muchas canciones que son muy recordadas en España. Vamos a conocer algunas de las más famosas y a recordar esos buenos momentos. Estoy seguro que muchas te resultaran familiares. En primer lugar, hablemos de algunas canciones de artistas españoles que han sido muy populares durante el verano. Un buen ejemplo es "La Macarena" del dúo Los del Río. Esta canción, lanzada en 1993, se convirtió en un éxito mundial y todavía se baila en fiestas y celebraciones. Otro ejemplo es "Bailando" de Enrique Iglesias, una canción muy pegadiza que fue un gran éxito en 2014. Además, no podemos olvidarnos de "Aserejé" de Las Ketchup, un tema que se hizo muy popular en el verano de 2002. También hay muchas canciones internacionales que han sido éxitos en España durante el verano. Por ejemplo, "Despacito" de Luis Fonsi y Daddy Yankee, una canción puertorriqueña que se convirtió en un fenómeno global en 2017. ¡Todo el mundo la cantaba y la bailaba! A veces es difícil dejar de pensar en la palabra “despacito…”. Otra canción muy popular fue "Waka Waka" de Shakira, la cual fue la canción oficial de la Copa del Mundo de 2010 y se escuchó en todas partes durante ese verano. Y, por supuesto, no podemos olvidar "Gangnam Style" del surcoreano Psy, que nos hizo bailar en 2012 con su peculiar estilo. Realmente, las canciones de verano en España tienen un gran impacto en la cultura. Durante la temporada, es común escucharlas en bares, discotecas, fiestas y celebraciones. Además, estas canciones suelen tener bailes y coreografías que todo el mundo aprende y disfruta. En otras palabras, las canciones de verano hacen que el verano en España sea más divertido y alegre. Para terminar, hablaré de los ingredientes que suelen hacer que una canción sea un éxito de verano. En primer lugar, la melodía tiene que ser pegadiza y fácil de recordar. Además, la letra tiene que ser simple y repetitiva, para que todos puedan cantarla fácilmente.
