When was the last time you faced the real you? Like… seriously. You get so caught up in trying to look a certain way or act a certain way that you hide who you truly are. That woman you are behind closed doors when no one's watching — yes, her. You mask her from others, and it's time to get curious why. Listen to this episode of LaYinka Speaks, where I share a time I had to check myself in this regard and the realisations I came to. layinkasanni.com

If you are a developer on Apple's platforms then you have probably encountered signing certificates and profiles. They start out fine, then they expire and can become a nightmare to deal with. So I'll explain the problem if you don't know what it is and a possible solution that might help fix it. I'll even give this idea for free to Apple if they want to adopt it. Conversations with Tee-Ta & Tiffany: A Black Girl and A White Girl talking
Ok, before we get chewed up...the point we make is valid. We recently saw a post that really made sense. The statement, “I'm not racist, I just don't support the looting and rioting and violence! I'd support them [hmm…now we are wondering who them is] if they protest peacefully.” The post went on to inform how the Chiefs and Texans were booed by fans for the first opening night of the NFL game of the season. Why were the teams booed? Because they were standing in a moment of silence to acknowledge that racism exist. Remind you, 70% players are Black. Soooooo…. how much more peaceful can you get with a moment of silence? People need to stop lying. No, we hate racism and hate the value and behaviors of racist people…no argument there, but at least admit that you are racist. That is the honorable thing you can do. To pretend you support racial equality is worse than to come out and show you are racist. People who boo, turn-up their noses, or try to justify every move to dismantle racism need to accept that they are racist. It isn't in the matter of how one goes about encouraging racial equality…you simply disagree. Because…you are racist. #ablackgirlawhitegirl #conversationswithteetaandtiffany #teetaandtiffany #realconversations #whiteprivilege #racism #antiracism #blacklivesmatter #beinformed #plantingseeds #podcast #podcaster #conversationstarters #dismantleracism Tee-Ta Walker Tiffany Scott
So you're a real estate professional or another service professional and you have a website. Big deal. In my experience as one of the top people in my space, I have yet to see a good real estate marketing website. That all said, we already know that things like realtor.ca mls.ca mls.com are all pretty much websites that are completely ineffective at least from a marketing perspective and from a consumer and use perspective. Why not take advice from somebody that is consulted for Century 21 founder, godaddy's found her, and even the pr advisor to President Obama. The fact is, websites are done. Marketing finals are the key. Listen in to learn how it can completely change your real estate business.

Be realistic. Let's face it. We can't live without phones. We've heard the research about how unhealthy cell phones are for us. They might be related to brain cancer. We know that they interfere with sleep, sense of self-worth, relationships, memory, attention spans for sure. Creativity, productivity, and problem-solving skills take a real hit. Using them raises cortisol, the body's main stress hormone. Even when we see our cellphone, cortisol increases because of our sense of obligation that it brings. It's a tough cycle to break because cellphones cause the release of the body's reward chemical, dopamine, which is why we spend, at least 4 hours a day on our phones. Yes, they're necessary to life as we know it, so what can we do to reduce the damage? When you can, switch to a laptop or a desktop to reduce your “need”. Store your phone in a place that's out of sight. Don't let a digital device shorten your life span. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/drclaudia/message

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' -Isaiah 41:10. The Bible says “Fear Not” 365 times, one for each day of the year. Anytime we try something new or even welcome the thought of it, a little sneaky whisper tends to sneak in.. fear. Fear is a powerful thing if we give it the authority. It can steal our dreams, vision, fulfillment, purpose, and impact. Everyone deals with fear but it's the successful ones who push through and keep going anyway. Fear means we're trying something new. It's so normal! Let's Face the Equifax Two-thirds of all Americans with credit reports had their information accessed during the Equifax 'data breach.' That is insane. By now you've heard how the scandal is compromising millions of Americans' personal data. Richard Smith, CEO of Equifax, testified in front of Congress that Equifax "...didn't really understand the severity of the breach and did everything they could." Beyond this being unacceptable for so many reasons, it brings up a conversation around protecting yourself in today's digital age. **How Does This Data Breach Impact You & Your Future? ** It's time to freeze your credit. It's not up to anyone but yourself to protect your most important information. YOu HAVE TO BE THE ONE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR digital SAFETY. You are the victim. I am the victim. We're the ones left worrying about identity theft even years from today. **Freezing Your Credit Is Simple. ** I had a client come in recently worried that freezing his credit would affect his credit score and credit tracking. It won't. Freezing your credit stops all new credit from being taken out unless you provide your unique PIN. Freezing it stops anyone who may have your information from creating new credit in your name. The minor inconvenience of providing a PIN dramatically outweighs the risk of having your assets and identity compromised. Click Here to Freeze Your Credit Today Listen to The Full Show: Hear Chris unpack this major scandal that puts you at risk. The Equifax data breach should open our eyes to a new frontier of risk exposure. Listen for what steps you can take to protect yourself. (Listen in at 5:52). Key Quotes: "A year before the hack, an independent study by MSCI gave Equifax a score of ZERO for privacy and data security. If we couldn't see this coming, Equifax definitely should have."> "The people who advise against freezing your credit are likely lenders and their mouthpieces." > "Don’t rely on Equifax or anyone else for your security." It should be no surprise to us that the Bible states, "the love of money is the root of all evil." 1 Timothy 6:10 In This Episode We Look At: People do crazy things when they love money. Both in modern times as well as in biblical times, people have done crazy and foolish things in the pursuit of money. Money is not a big deal to God. Our attitude toward money IS. With over 2,300 scriptures written on the subject of money, riches and possessions; we have plenty of wisdom and truth to teach us how to have the right attitude toward money. The sooner we learn God's plan for money in our life, the sooner we can avoid these pitfalls and enjoy more peace and joy. Our own money attitude may not be as being as extreme as the examples mentioned, but materialism and covetousness can be very subtle. It can slowly grow in the heart of the Christian. The Healthy, Biblical view of Money It is just a temporary tool to be used to God's glory. All that we do not use for His glory will perish–we take nothing to Heaven with us. Proverbs 3:27-28 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Say not unto thy neighbor, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee. We will not run out of resources for good works, because God cannot run out of resources. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 2 Cor 9:8 One Thing You Can Do Today to Improve Your Financial World: Acknowledge that all you have belongs to God and comes from God. The very reason we have breath, a heartbeat, and finances is to bring God glory! What Are Your Thoughts? If you have a question or comment about today's topic, we invite you to share your thoughts.

Sadness and sorrow are emotions that we all feel, and we have to face. The Bible offers us the gospel to help us through these emotions. We are meant to thrive not just survive.
Bigger, Better, Faster and more is what we are told will make us happy. But we have discovered these things haven’t brought us the joy. What can you do to pursue greater joy? Joy even when others have the bigger and better things.
Worry and anxiety are emotions that we all struggle with on a daily basis. Is there really any hope to overcoming this feeling. Jesus gave his disciples some words that will help us deal with our troubled hearts.
This is a podcast conversation on anger with Pastor Chris Watson and Discipleship Pastor Archie Rish. The sermon podcast was not recorded due to technical issues so we recorded the sermon as a conversation on applying the gospel to our anger issues.
What makes you happy. Studies have been done. Money has been spent. We all have one thing in common when it comes to love.
Humans are complex. Each one of us was fearfully and wonderfully made by God. And because of this we have and experience a bundle of emotions. In this series we discover a couple things to help us manage our emotions rather than having them manage us.

Why do people have such a hard time with the Law of Allowing? Are they afraid of an outcome they don't desire?Do they resist a good outcome, or better life, because they are afraid of good things happening to them?Or do they simply not "believe"? And when things begin to veer off path, they can't just ALLOW it to happen. Right before their very eyes... So what do they do? The thing people do best. Panic. They panic and grab the steering wheel of life and try to yank it back on course. Where do most of these people end up? In the ditch. The enduring Irving Berlin classic, Let's Face the Music and Dance is celebrated by those for whom it has a special significance. Written in 1932 as one of the dance numbers for Follow The Fleet, a movie starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, it's since taken on a life of it's own, being recorded by hundreds of artists from Diane Krall to Shirley Bassey, Frank Sinatra to Vera Lynn, Ella Fitzgerald to Matt Munroe. For Sir John Mortimer's widow, Penny, it conjures up the very essence of her husband, who loved life, romance and dancing - even though he was no Fred Astaire , a fact he always deeply regretted. Lawrence Bergreen , Berlin's biographer and academic Morris Dickstein explain why this song has such a unique place in popular culture and the cabaret singer and composer, Kit Hesketh Harvey explains why the melody continues to haunt us. We hear from the bride and groom who decided to dance down the aisle to it after their wedding and the redundant welder for whom the song will be forever associated with the demise of our ship building industry. While one insurance executive recalls how the the song became central to their advertising campaign, bringing success to the firm and also placing Nat King Cole's version back in the charts nearly sixty years after it was written. Producer: Lucy Lunt.

Sue Lawley's castaway this week is the thriller writer Harry Patterson - otherwise known as Jack Higgins. Harry Patterson grew up in the midst of the violence and disarray of 1940s Belfast and the turmoil he witnessed there has been an enduring influence on his work. He always knew he wanted to become a writer, but he wasn't a promising pupil at school and left without qualifications. He took himself off to evening classes, gained a degree and trained as a teacher - but he spent every spare evening dreaming up plots for thrillers, always hoping that they might earn him 'an extra bob or two'. A chance encounter with one of his old teachers made him change his style and develop his characters more fully. He took on the pseudonym Jack Higgins and, in his mid-forties, wrote the book that made him a household name: The Eagle Has Landed. He's written more than sixty novels and sold hundreds of millions of books worldwide. He is one of the few British writers to be as successful in America as here and, at the age of 76, is still creating new plots and new characters.
