What if marketing didn't ask you to perform, but to tell the truth? In this episode of the Sacred Changemakers Podcast, I'm joined by Eli Natoli, marketing mentor, author, and host of the Marketing Your Truth podcast. Eli's work offers a refreshingly human approach to business growth, one that honors integrity, clarity, and the lived experience of the person behind the work.We explore how much traditional marketing quietly pulls people away from themselves, rewarding performance over presence and urgency over resonance. Eli breaks down some of the core assumptions many purpose-driven entrepreneurs have inherited—and offers a simpler, more honest way forward. One rooted in service, trust, and being genuinely understood rather than constantly visible. This is a grounded, insightful conversation for coaches, creatives, and changemakers who care deeply about their work but resist marketing as it's usually taught, and who sense that growth can happen without hustle when strategy honors the human on both sides of the exchange.About Eli NatoliEli Natoli is a marketing mentor, author, and host of the Marketing Your Truth podcast. Through her Service First Framework, she helps purpose-driven experts articulate their true voice, simplify how they share their work, and invite clients with integrity, so growth emerges from honesty rather than performance.Learn More About Today's GuestEli's website ****→ https://elinatoli.comEli's book Service First→ https://www.elinatoli.com/elevateEli on LinkedIn → https://www.linkedin.com/in/elinatoli/About the HostJayne Warrilow is the founder of Sacred Changemakers, a global community and learning space exploring the intersection of human resonance, regenerative change, and conscious leadership.Learn more at sacredchangemakers.com

In this episode of The Jason Cavness Experience, Jason sits down with Scott Strong, founder of Strong Fiber Systems, to talk about building a service-first business in the telecom industry and why sales discipline and customer service still matter in a world obsessed with automation. Scott shares his journey into entrepreneurship, how he built Strong Fiber Systems by focusing on relationships and trust, and why doing the unscalable work, personal outreach, follow-ups, and real conversations creates a lasting competitive advantage. He explains the difference between motivation and discipline in sales, how strong habits outperform hype, and why customer service is becoming a lost art.  The conversation also covers leadership, networking without forcing outcomes, using AI without losing the human element, and what it really takes to build a business you can stand behind long term. This episode is packed with practical insight for founders, operators, and sales leaders building service-based companies. Topics Discussed • Scott's path into telecom and entrepreneurship • Building Strong Fiber Systems from the ground up • Sales discipline vs motivation • Why doing the unscalable work still wins • Customer service as a true differentiator • Picking up the phone instead of hiding behind email • Using AI to support sales without removing humanity • Networking with authenticity • Leadership, habits, and long-term thinking Support CavnessHR CavnessHR is building an AI-native HR system for small businesses with 49 or fewer employees  combining automation with a dedicated HR Business Partner.  Invest on Wefunder https://wefunder.com/cavnesshr Download 7 free eBooks https://www.buildcavnesshr.com/ebooks Join the Builders Club https://www.buildcavnesshr.com/ Connect with Scott Strong LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/scott-strong-entrepreneurship/ Company: https://strongfibersystems.com/ Phone: (888) 601-0123 Connect with Jason Cavness LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jasoncavness  TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jasoncavness Podcast: https://www.thejasoncavnessexperience.com

This special Thanksgiving edition brings you part two of a dynamic Independent Veterans of America Winners Circle Town Hall featuring IVA 2026 Senate candidates Ty Pinkins of Mississippi and Dan Osborn of Nebraska—two independent veterans who are taking on entrenched incumbents, big money, and a broken two-party system. From New York City on Thanksgiving Day, Paul sets the table with gratitude for servicemembers, military families, cops, firefighters, and first responders who are working while the rest of America is watching parades and football. Then the conversation turns to the future: what it really looks like to run as an independent veteran in deeply red states, how to talk to voters across race and party lines in rural communities, and why so many Americans are fed up with being forced to choose between Trump on the right and Mamdani-style extremes on the left. Ty Pinkins shares what it means to campaign as an independent veteran in Mississippi—knocking doors in rural counties, bridging racial and political divides, and showing people that common sense, decency, and service still have a place in American politics. Dan Osborn, the former Navy veteran and mechanic who shook the establishment with a close U.S. Senate race in Nebraska, talks about why he is running again in 2026, how his grassroots movement has grown, and what it takes to challenge a billionaire-backed incumbent with nothing but grit, community, and a mission to put country first. Paul ties it all together with a Thanksgiving message about why veteran leadership matters as crises continue in places like Ukraine and Venezuela and as National Guard deployments ramp up at home, and why this independent veteran wave is just getting started. If you are an independent—or independent-curious—American who is tired of being politically homeless, or if you have ever thought about running for office yourself, this episode is a must-listen and a call to action. "Service isn't a necessary evil—it's your most valuable relationship builder." This week, Tim welcomes Bart Ogden, owner of Home Safe Hearth & Chimney in Wichita, Kansas, to discuss how service work can be the foundation of a thriving hearth business. Starting as a chimney sweep in 1979 in a town of 600 people, Bart built his company on a simple principle: if someone calls needing help, we're going to help them—regardless of brand, age, or who installed it. In this episode, Tim and Bart discuss: Why servicing everything—not just what you sell—builds long-term customer relationships that outlast and outperform the initial sale. The lifetime value of a service customer: How annual or bi-annual maintenance over decades generates more revenue than the original installation, and creates trust when replacement is finally needed. Profitability through knowing your numbers: Why specialty service businesses need 60% margins to thrive, and how to build a supply chain that supports servicing all brands. Building a systematic training program: How Bart created a 100-day curriculum using certification paths (CSIA, NFI) that trains every technician to the same standard, regardless of their background. The power of great inspections: Why every successful service job starts with ensuring customers know the exact condition of their system, then letting them choose what happens next. Don't miss this episode that reframes service from an afterthought into the strategic foundation of a sustainable hearth business. ------ Become a supporter of The Fire Time Network and get access to awesome rewards: https://itsfiretime.com/join To hear more audio articles from our magazine, subscribe to the Fire Time Magazine Podcast: https://www.itsfiretime.com/magazine To get a copy of the 2025 Fire Time Journal: https://www.itsfiretime.com/journal Read The Fire Time Magazine Reader Edition online: https://magazine.itsfiretime.com

Sunday, December 29th is the final Sunday service of the year! On this special service we celebrate our First Fruits offering that we give to the Lord in anticipation of the harvest He has for us in 2025. This is a saturation service with extended worship and a short time of teaching on "First Fruits" by Pastor Lynn. I guarantee this is a powerful time with the Lord as we are launched into 2025. You do not want to miss the last Sunday service of 2024! The Celebration of First Fruits: On Sun., Dec. 1st, Pastor Lynn challenged Crossroads to give a free-will sacrificial, First Fruits offering on Dec. 29th. The celebration of First Fruits comes from Deut. 26: 1-11. This was an offering given to the Lord from the first of the harvest, in anticipation for what was to come later.  This offering was freely given by the people, but it was also to be sacrificial. This free will offering was given in anticipation of what God would do in the future as He brought forth the harvest. The Celebration of First Fruits signified the recognition that EVERYTHING comes from the Lord and that God's people would never idolize the blessings, but would keep the Lord their “First Love” (Ex. 20:3; Matt. 22:37). The First Fruits celebration was always given on the Sun. after the Passover. Paul writes in 1 Cor. 15:20, “But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the First Fruits of those who have fallen asleep.” The First Fruit celebration foreshadowed the resurrection of Jesus on the Sunday following Passover. Christ's resurrection defeated sin, death, the curse and the grave; it revealed the new life His followers would have when they received His Holy Spirit. Jesus was the First Fruits of what was to come—our salvation and infilling of the Holy Spirit.  The First Fruit offering signifies our openness to Holy Spirit surrendered living. It shows our intentional surrender and sacrifice (Rom. 12:1-2). It confronts our fleshly tendencies (1 John 2:16). It is a way to deny ourselves (Matt. 16:24).  There will be a day when we are in the presence of the Lord and will go through the gates of pearl to walk on streets of gold. God's economy is so different from this fallen world. When we give a free-will offering it illustrates that we will not allow the spirit of materialism to rule us, but we will have dominion over it through the power of the Holy Spirit. It also signifies our faith in the Lord Jesus and the future harvest He has for our lives.  On Dec. 29th we will give a free will first fruit offering as part of our worship time. This will not be our tithe, but whatever the Lord has laid upon our hearts to give. Take time and pray about this free-will offering, then prepare to give it on Sun., Dec. 29th. If you give online (Zelle, Paypal, or in advance), write your name and the amount on a paper for this special service (use a giving envelope) and on Sun., Dec. 29th place that giving envelope into the specific First Fruits giving basket. During our service, we are going to do what Israel did during the First Fruits Celebration: we are going to WAVE our offerings before the Lord, unashamedly presenting our offerings of thanksgiving and praise to Him. Then, we are going to put our offerings into the baskets of the Priests (Pastors David and Lynn) who will then wave the First Fruits before the Lord. This will be a powerful time with the Lord. As you are considering what your First Fruits offering is going to be, allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you specifically regarding the meaning HE has behind your First Fruits offering. Write down what this First Fruits offering means for your life and future. What are you asking of Him as you go into 2025? During this special time, the Lord desires that you ask of Him because He surely wants you to expect a harvest! This is what First Fruits is all about—faith in what He can do! Remember, He has a harvest for you! All funds will go into a place of ministry (no funds are to go to the pastoral staff).

Sunday Service | "First Fruits" Pastor Todd Coconato 4/16/2022 Our website: www.PastorTodd.org To support www.ToddCoconato.com/give Firstfruits was a Jewish feast held in the early spring at the beginning of the grain harvest. It was observed on Nissan 16, which was the third day after Passover and the second day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Firstfruits was a time of thanksgiving for God's provision. Leviticus 23:9-14 institutes the firstfruits offering. The people were to bring a sheaf of grain to the priest, who would wave it before the Lord. A burnt offering, a meal offering, and a drink offering were also required at that time. Deuteronomy 26:1-10 gives even more detail on the procedure of firstfruits. No grain was to be harvested at all until the firstfruits offering was brought to the Lord (Leviticus 23:14). The offering was made in remembrance of Israel's sojourn in Egypt, the Lord's deliverance from slavery, and their possession of “a land that floweth with milk and honey.” The day of the firstfruits offering was also used to calculate the proper time of the Feast of Weeks (Leviticus 23:15-16). In the New Testament, the firstfruits offering is mentioned seven times, always symbolically. Paul calls Epaenetus and the household of Stephanas “the firstfruits of Achaia” (Romans 16:5; 1 Corinthians 16:15). His meaning is that, just as the firstfruits offering was the first portion of a larger harvest, these individuals were the first of many converts in that region. James calls believers “a kind of firstfruits of His creatures” (James 1:18). Just like the sheaf of grain was set apart for the Lord, so are believers set apart for God's glory. The firstfruits offering found its fulfillment in Jesus. “But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep” (1 Corinthians 15:20). Jesus' resurrection has paved the way for our resurrection. Significantly, if Jesus was killed at Passover, then His resurrection on the third day would have fallen on Nissan 16—the Feast of Firstfruits. The firstfruits offering is never directly applied to Christian giving in the New Testament. However, Paul taught the Corinthian believers to set aside a collection “on the first day of the week” (1 Corinthians 16:2). And, just as the offering of firstfruits was an occasion of thanksgiving, so the Christian is to give with gladness. In summary, firstfruits symbolizes God's harvest of souls, it illustrates giving to God from a grateful heart, and it sets a pattern of giving back to Him the first (and the best) of what He has given us. Not being under the Old Testament Law, the Christian is under no further obligation than to give cheerfully and liberally (2 Corinthians 9:6-7).
