Currently based in Seattle, she is the VP of Program Management at Panda Mobile, where she leads the development of community-focused MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) that provide culturally relevant, niche wireless services to underserved markets especially Chinese immigrant communities and university ecosystems. Andrie's life journey is a testament to adaptability, resilience, and the power of starting over. Originally from China, she left everything familiar behind to pursue her education in the U.S. Despite early struggles, she graduated with summa cum laude, won the second place in business plan competition against the entire school, and completed two internships, proving her ability to overcome new challenges quickly. Driven by a desire for citizenship and a new path, she made the bold decision to leave behind her finance background to join the U.S. Army a field she had no prior experience in. Starting from zero, she trained herself to achieve the highest physical fitness award during basic training and excelled in logistics roles, earning several leadership and performance awards throughout her 7.5 years of service and 1 trip of deployment. She further expanded her skills through financial engineering education, security training, and leadership roles. Upon retiring from the military, Andrie once again pivoted, entering the tech world. In just six months, she transitioned from military logistics to completing a successful software engineering internship, mastering new technologies, languages, and delivering impactful projects. In addition to her corporate roles, she is the Founder of the OffChain Global Seattle Chapter, a hub that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, developers, and technologists in emerging tech fields like Web3, AI, AR/VR, and IoT, fostering vibrant, cross-functional communities. Because you can't change the past, and in the past, you have made the best decision for yourself at that moment. It's not fair to judge yourself with the experience and the knowledge that you have now to judge the past of you not making the right decision. But it's not fair, because in the past you, at that moment, with the level of knowledge and experience, made the best decision. So there's no way for you to think the past and regret, and also there's you can plan for the future. But not to get too worried on whether I make a decision now. Would that lead to a different route that I would regret that I didn't take option B, because it's sort of irrelevant too, because you never know what it's going to lead to. Since then, he has taken his social media content marketing strategy from Facebook to LinkedIn in 2025. Barry's shared 2 CANVA FREE eBooks on his LinkedIn profile for content creators. We talked about Mr. Beast. My push is always for content creators. If I would have known half the stuff I know now, somebody could have told me to save me four or five years off of my journey. I'm nine years in and it took that long to get organized. I finally wrote a book. What's wrong? What took you so long? Well, a lot of this was learning when there's no path already blazed, somebody's got to blaze that path. Now I'm just trying to share that path with other folks so they can take it. It's cool to be a content creator. You can get paid being a content creator, not just on social media. You can start your blog, you can start a Patreon. You can pretty much get monetized on any platform. If you're going to spend time on your phone, get a return on your investment. I believe agency is going to become increasingly important in the next couple of decades AND especially in education. To me, agency is about disagreeability in a positive sense—meaning the willingness to challenge assumptions andcombined with clear, critical thinking, and the ability to take action. And honestly, agency is something that most people aren't talking about enough, even though it's had a huge impact on my own life. For example, when I was 17, someone told me I should go to a networking event. The very next day, without overthinking it, I just went. I didn't really know how networking was “supposed” to work, and I was definitely a little socially awkward. I was super direct, like, “Hey, what's your LinkedIn? What do you do?” I was trying really hard to have meaningful conversations, even though I didn't quite know how to go about it. At the time, I thought something was wrong with me because I would always just do the thing I wanted to do, even if the outcome wasn't perfect. I often made mistakes or didn't get the result I hoped for right away. But later, I realized that this was actually an example of agency in action just taking initiative and figuring things out through experience. Now, when I catch myself overthinking or procrastinating, I recognize that as a signal of low agency. Instead of getting stuck in my head, I remind myself: just go do it. That's how you build high agency, by acting, learning, and repeating the cycle. So don't beat yourself up over the fact that you didn't yes and over it should go, Oh, that's interesting. Sometimes I tell people, even if you can just take the word but and replace the word and does the sentence still make sense, just to see what will happen. It's that thing again of how am I hearing what people said and accepting and building on it? My challenge is to try yes and for an entire day, there we go see what happens.

Born and raised in Singapore until the age of 15, I then migrated to Melbourne, Australia, where I completed high school and studied interior decoration. Melbourne with its vibrant culture and creative energy, nurtured my dreams and its where I discovered my passion for design and found the freedom to explore who I wanted to be. Returning to Singapore in the late 1980s was a transition that felt more like stepping into foreign territory than coming home. The city I had left behind 18 years ago had changed and so had I. Instead of feeling like a citizen coming home, I felt like a stranger rediscovering my birth city that I thought I knew. This disconnection, however, became an opportunity—a chance to reimagine my identity and carve out a new chapter. With this sense of rediscovery, it fueled my determination to carve out my space in the professional world. My career as an interior designer flourished as I under took on ambitious projects, managing corporate office spaces ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 square meters, and working for design companies Those were exhilarating times—filled with the thrill of creation and the pressure of deadlines. Nights stretched into the early hours, weekends vanished into work, and the demands were relentless. I loved what I was doing, pouring my heart into every design and every detail. But I didn't love the culture that surrounded it. Singapore's traditional environment felt restrictive to my adventurous spirit, and I yearned for opportunities to travel or relocate, to bring my creativity to new horizons. In the early 1990s, I took a bold step that would forever shape the course of my life. I ventured into Vietnam, a country that had just opened its doors to the world. It was a place where everything was so unfamiliar—the culture, the language, and the business landscape. Yet, that very unfamiliarity excited me. For me, it was an adventure waiting to unfold, it was more than just starting a business; it was a chance to blend creativity and purpose into something meaningful and I was ready to embrace the unknown. Amid this backdrop of change and opportunity, I founded my first interior design company in Ho Chi Minh City. It was a leap of faith, fueled by a desire to transform spaces into something extraordinary. From designing offices and hotels spaces that reflected the heart of clients to crafting commercial spaces that resonated with their purpose, I poured my energy into understanding the stories behind the walls I was shaping. Those early projects were not without their driven by a passion for creating spaces that reflected purpose and personality. Building a business in an emerging market was no small feat. It required learning, adapting, and growing at an unprecedented pace. But those challenges only fueled my determination to succeed. Vietnam became more than just a location for my work; it became a place of transformation—personally and professionally. Every project, from corporate offices to personal spaces, was an opportunity to leave my mark and bring beauty to the lives of others. The journey began humbly, challenges—navigating the complexities of an emerging market, managing tight budgets, and earning trust with the clients and the people in a rapidly evolving industry. But through hard work and dedication, the company grew. Each completed project became a milestone, and with every new client, my vision expanded. It wasn't just about creating beautiful spaces; it was about solving problems, building relationships, and leaving a lasting impact. The satisfaction of seeing a client's eyes light up at the unveiling of their dream space was—and still is—unmatched. After years of success in interior design, I was looking for another area of creativity to fuel my energy into doing. But if one thinks that starting my own interior design company in Ho Chi Minh City was a bold move, little did I know that this next milestone was just the beginning of another, equally challenging and transformative journey. My venture into the Vietnamese art world was purely coincidental. I knew nothing about art in Vietnam, and no one in the community—artists, dealers, agents, or galleries, buyers, collectors etc—who knew who I was or what I was doing. After so many years living here, I was still a foreigner in their country, eager yet completely out of my depth. For six months, immersed myself in trying to understand what Vietnamese art was all about, grappling with its nuances and the stories behind it. Just as I began to feel the weight of this daunting and challenging task, a kind-hearted art dealer changed everything. He took me under his wing, patiently taught me step by step and opening doors to the art world I could never have accessed alone. Through him, I met incredible artists – from all categories of art mediums and whose works reflected the vibrant culture, history, and aspirations of Vietnam. The transition from interiors to art consulting and advising felt like a natural evolution, but it was more than just a shift in focus. It was about storytelling in an art world that many, from foreigners to the Vietnamese themselves, knew little about. This journey became not only an exploration of creativity but also a mission to share the richness of Vietnamese art with a much wider audience – from young to old and from international to local people. Art has always been a language that challenges me and how to connect with, a way of expressing what words often cannot. Transitioning from interiors to advising clients on art has been a very difficult journey, yet it came with its own challenges. Helping artists and galleries to curate collections that resonated with their stories required not only expertise but also a deep understanding of their ideas, aspirations, skills and techniques . It was no longer just about designing physical spaces; it was about inspiring and educating people to appreciate the beauty in purchasing a piece of artwork – may it be lacquer, oils or acrylic in canvas, silk, wood blocks, gouache (pastel or watercolor combined on paper), watercolour through the lens of the artist. Founding The Saigon Art Journey was the culmination of this shift. It combined my professional expertise with a personal mission to inspire, educate, and connect. Through this initiative, I sought to bridge gaps and build understanding, engaging with people from all walks of life and age groups. Art became a medium for dialogue, a way to bring diverse perspectives together while showcasing the beauty and depth of Vietnamese culture. This serendipitous journey into art became another milestone in my life, shaping my work and expanding my understanding of creativity. From interiors to art, my story has been one of embracing the unknown, taking risks, and finding guidance in unexpected places. Looking back, I see how each phase of my career—from starting my design company, overcoming challenges, and venturing into art consulting and advising to educating and who knows what's next at my age. These milestones weren't just professional achievements; they were markers of personal growth, shaped by lessons in resilience, creativity, and faith. This biography is a reflection of my journey—starting as a designer of spaces and becoming a storyteller of art, not just the successes, but the struggles and moments of trust that defined them. It's a story of transformation, of embracing the unknown, and of trusting that every step, even the uncertain ones, leads to something greater. Through these pages, I hope to inspire others to see their own lives as a canvas, ready to be filled with bold strokes, meaningful connections, and boundless possibilities, no matter what age you are. The government and the people and the enterprises are working really hard to get people to come here and try out this country. Take the risk on Vietnam. It's fun, it's exciting. It's relatively inexpensive enough for you to start a business, and if it fails, you can try again. It's not a big deal. If you want to move your family here, the schools are great, and if it doesn't work out, you can go back to your country. But I think now is a great time, because the next 10 years, there'll be a lot of economic growth and opportunities for you to take a risk and a chance on Vietnam

Don't take on projects or challenges where you think, Oh, I can do that. Take the ones where you think, I don't know if I can do that. All the great opportunities I've had in life have resulted in the latter. I didn't think I could be a good wrestler. I didn't think I could be a good podcaster. I didn't think I would be a good recruiter. But I took these challenges. When Johnny Tri Nguyen offered me that recruiting job, I was a little intimidated. Am I going to be able to do this? But that has created a lot of other opportunities. Am I really going to be able to do a podcast or am I making a way for people to make fun of me? Are they going to take me seriously? But the rewards are 1000 fold when you do things you don't think you can. When you try to do things, the universe conspires to help you.

It's very good. It's serving us very well. It has its own peculiarities, and the better we allow ourselves to be friends and to be more aware of what it is which means to be yourself . But yourself is your physiological counterpart that empowers and enables you to be and to think and everything. The more you allow yourself and to be okay with it, including all the darkness, like procrastination as an example, or just the hesitation or maybe doubts or anything. But you are okay with that, and you are not over judging yourself. But befriending all of the aspects, including this, also the human, hesitant and dark ones, then you become more of a mastering your existence, rather than being a victim of human nature as it has been evolving.

I think for cryptocurrency, my one advice would be that it's a very attractive and upcoming opportunity. But be careful and do your own research, and research really deeply to understand the matter and everything. You won't be able to master it without understanding the matters. For startups out there, be realistic and don't go too crazy for Vietnam startups. Coming from a market that hasn't been known for high quality and successful startups. I think we have to start small and be humble.

Recently, people talk a lot about Gen Z or younger people. How they have different evaluations on how important the nine to five job is to them. What are the boundaries that they draw with their employer? They're very hard working and I can see that deep down inside, with all the differences that each generation has and all the differences that they have that we all talk about. They honestly and genuinely want to become better and hard workers. He holds an MBA in international business strategy from Maastricht University, has lectured and mentored on entrepreneurship at several universities, and is on the Industry Advisory board of RMIT Vietnam. At Vulcan he ensures that the company is moving in the right direction with a clear plan, managing tech development, finance and business strategy. Vulcan products are designed with accessibility for the end user clearly in mind, and he makes sure that this is considered at every stage of the development process, and that Vulcan is always aware of the user experience before they commit pen to paper. Rafael was raised in a village in the south of the UK, just down the road from Lord Mayor Treloars College, the largest disabled college in the country. Many of his friends as a teenager were wheelchair-bound, or heavily dependent on technology to live full lives, and their resilience and pragmatism were a deep influence. After graduating from University with a degree in Philosophy, he went to Vietnam to travel and work, teaching English for a year before returning to the UK. While in Vietnam however, he came to love the country, the culture and the career, and decided to stay. He progressed from teaching to academic development and management, but decided after 8 years it was time to build something that would make a difference on a much larger scale. He had seen that Vietnam was a country of tremendous potential, with people who were creative, pragmatic and ambitious, but didn't yet know enough about business to do the opportunity justice, so he took an MBA. During this time he also started learning more about 3d printing and design, and becoming involved with the local maker community which opened his eyes to the technological possibilities becoming available. Shortly after graduating he met Akshay, a representative of a venture studio called Alley51, at a networking event. After talking about 3d printing, maker spaces, and entrepreneurship for several hours, Rafael was invited to pitch Alley51 his startup idea and Vulcan Augmetics was born. In the years since Vulcan was founded Rafael has continued to learn and adapt, incorporating new technology in the most efficient way, and ensuring that the company has built a brand and product that is aligned with real user requirements. After a tour in Iraq, he attempted to get back to what he had known all his life but discovered quickly that it was easier said than done. PTSD formed a mental block between his creativity and himself which hindered him for over a decade from producing even the simplest of art forms. Fast forward 13 years and after many attempts, he would produce his first painting in over a decade. It was a hard fought journey but he has yet to look back on the past that would keep his beloved art away from the public eye. He now uses his creativity and imagination to create one of a kind abstract pieces filled with vibrant colors and a semi realistic interpretation of his surroundings and the African American culture, all from a black man's perspective. Having spent an entire lifetime moving in countless global directions, from starting an international humanitarian nonprofit organization, to fronting a touring punk band, to speaking on stages in twenty-seven countries, Greg had no idea that severe ADHD was behind his journey until later in life. With that realization, he began to trace his journey backwards, arriving at seeing a single juggling ball in flight when he was a child. That moment of clarity was the key to unlock his life's work. He explores what focus means to each of us, and the effect it has on our psychology. In his Build a Better Now® keynote, he asks us to consider what our own single juggling ball actually is. We are all deeply affected by distractions amidst the modern rat race. People everywhere are overworked, anxious, and entirely stressed out. We need to be focusing today on today. Greg shares new angles on how focus builds self-esteem. He explains how increased self esteem affects how we show up, as a leader, as a teammate, and as a communicator. Greg transforms audiences and has a good time while doing it. He shares ideas about focus learned and earned over decades of interaction and engagement with people from literally all around the world. His core keynote presentation is Build a Better Now® and it is fun, insightful, and inspiring. It is available worldwide. In the last few years alone, Greg has spoken in twenty-seven countries, including the first ever spoken-word tour across Russia from coast to coast, and full tours of Iceland, Europe, Australia, and other places you've always wanted to visit. Over the past 3 years she's worked building out this business, paid in sweat labor, ownership and encouragement. She's 100% driven to share simplified financial literacy knowledge for families, believing that financial education should be a fundamental part of everyone's life from a young age. In addition to building out educational financial content, Kelly boldly advocates for retail investors, proudly holding positions in GameStop, AMC, and "the former" Bed Bath and Beyond. Sometimes even we hit those roadblocks and we're like, best I can tell you to do is talk to your congressperson talk to an ombudsman at the agency. Rivers is an organizer not a fraternizer. In his many years of running for public office, he has not taken money from lobbyists, or any special interest groups. He considers himself to be a representative of the people, not a politician. He not only stands for the people but with the people. Rivers wants to increase the state budget by 12.5% over the next three years. This will be accomplished through increasing more import and export commerce thus creating more jobs. Rivers plans to improve Washington State's desperate need for a better mental health system. The state and the health system need to work together to structure a mental health system that deals with preventive treatment as well as diagnostic and continuous treatment. It should be structured for everyone, not just those who are chronically mentally ill. Rivers wholeheartedly support a woman's right to freedom of choice. No person, politician or government has the right to make that choice for a woman about what she can and cannot do with her body. Men have the freedom of choice and so should women. Rivers knows that homelessness is one of the biggest crisis facing our state and nation. He wants to develop programs that will not only help to reduce the problem but treat the underlying causes such as runaways stemming from child trafficking and abuse, inflated mortgage rates, and unemployment as well as mental illness. Don L. Rivers plans to go across the state to all 39 counties to speak with the communities. This is to explore avenues and options which can uplift each county. Also to get a better understanding of the needs for investment opportunities in areas of real estate, manufacturing, education, etc. We talked about the following and other items Homelessness as untapped resource Eradicating homelessness in Washington state with a focus on philanthropy and new revenue sources. One of my students, his name is, Brian has an amazing, amazing, amazing story. One of his biggest things I want to show people is how to take that dream and put action behind that dream. But anything that you want to do you have to work for, it's not going to be just given to you. Some people are outliers where it is, but we don't live in an outlier society where 90% of that is happening. So think about your dream, the purpose behind your dream, know that there's going to be order behind that dream in order for you to really commit to it. Once you commit to it, there's gonna be a lot of white noise around you. But you have to learn how to treat that as surface level things and aim high. If you ever need resources, there are people out here for you, such as Black Boy Heal and other community resources.
