Geschichten, die nichts mit der Realität am Hut haben, und durch und durch geprägt sind von der 60er und 70er Nischenkultur: Hard Boiled Thriller, Blaxploitation, Surf Rock, Torture Porn, Black Comedy bilden eine ganz eigene Mischung, die dafür sorgte, dass in der Zeit von Flanellhemden und Techno plötzlich schwarze Anzüge und  John “Saturday Night Fever” Travolta wieder als cool galten und jeder 16jährige Junge ein Poster von der lasziv auf dem Bett rauchenden Uma Thurman im Zimmer hängen hatte… ja, auch yours truly. Ein Riesenhit, und stilprägend für das kommende Indie- und Mainstreamkino. Kanon geworden, ohne jeden Zweifel. Und jetzt, im Jahr 2024 ist das Ding 30 Jahre alt. Also Johannes, was haben wir hier? Und wie hart gehen wir mit diesem gar nicht mehr so jungen Klassiker ins Gericht?
