The Stream Answers Questions About Living Under Dictatorship AndTerrorist ThreatWalt starts us off with a quick romp through a deep dive he took theprevious evening into polarity. Shortly afterward, David connects to TheStream, and they answer some rather challenging questions about dealingwith and living with abusive governments and terrorist threats.Questions from listeners:Melissa asks, “Do our pets have souls? If so, do they attract illnessinto their lives or do we, as their caretakers, manifest it?”Avinash writes, “Hi Walt, Some weeks back I asked the stream questionabout government which tends to abuse power anf impose anti democraticlaws. I loved the response from the stream (btw I live in Mauritius). Irecently felt that political leaders who are elected reflect the generalvibration of the majority of residents of the country . For example doesa corrupted government gets elected because majority of the populationare selfish and only care about money and hoarding money.”Walt also shared the following, related Abraham-Hicks quote:It does not matter whether you are living in a country where there aresome frequent terrorist attacks, or in a country where there are randomacts of violence. It does not matter what the culture is — it is onlythe feeling of vulnerability that ever puts you into a vibrationalharmony with that which you fear. When you realize that by working toachieve your feeling of Well-being, it is then impossible for you toever rendezvous with anything other than Well-being — that is the onlyplace that freedom will ever be.Use the app to send in your own questions for The Stream to answer on anupcoming episode. The app is quickly becoming the go-toplace to ask The Stream a question to be answered live right on the program. The first question was for David himself from Karla: “Could you detailhow you manifested a car as a teenager? How were you introduced to theLaw of Attraction, and what motivated you to use it?”The next question came from Chuck: “I just listened to this week’sepisode with The Stream. I am still curious about individuals who comehere to live very short lives like in the example of stillborn children. If we choose at the soul level what level to experience the humanexperience, then what is gained from those who do not complete aphysical birth. Is their sole purpose to influence the life of thepotential birth mother in some way, or is there something of benefit tothe soul of the stillborn child receives as well? And if so can theStream give an example of what their soul gets from the experience?”Louis asked, “Is the world really flat for flat earthers and round forround earthers? ”And the final listener question came from Lorell who asked, “What doesAbraham think of Earthing or grounding? It is supposed to correct theblood and make it flow better for healing. Could this simple act be theturning point for this [corona]virus? Imagine the I.C.U. patients with agrounding pad. What could it hurt? All those people that headed to thebeaches kicked off their shoes. I’m hoping this could be our saving grace.”You can ask a question for The Stream to answer as well live on our show.Use the new built-in form in the app for asking The Stream yourquestion, and we’ll get back to you to let you know in which episodeyour question gets answered. Also, tell a friend to tell a friend about the LOA Today app. Give themthis link to subscribe: https://www.loatoday.net/subscribe

To a person who couldn't reply, as they had lost their voice over a year ago. To a person who couldn't move. To a person who had been paralyzed for over a decade. To a person who was at one point a lawyer, father, brother, and friend. But perhaps a person who was most known for being "the guy in the wheelchair" or "the guy with ALS." I recently met and spoke with New York City playwright, Jonathan Leaf, about the challenges and success of his new play DECONSTRUCTION. He has written numerous plays and most recently had a successful run for DECONSTRUCTION which played at the Storm Theater in New York City. I was lucky enough to see it and experience firsthand the intelligent thought provocation that his work achieves. DECONSTRUCTION dives into the one of the main scandals in the field of literary criticism . . . "Set in 1949, the play imagines the rumored love affair between famous novelist Mary McCarthy and young aspiring academic Paul de Man. Later in his life, de Man gained worldwide notoriety as the foremost American promoter of deconstruction, a concept inspired by German philosopher Martin Heidegger. The story exposes de Man’s hidden past in war-torn Belgium, where he was suspected as an embezzler and Nazi collaborator." The play has been extremely well received: " . . .Jonathan Leaf's Deconstruction Bravely and Brilliantly Delves into the Difficulties of Truth . . ." - Victoria Ordin, Broadway World "... an erudite detective story, an inquiry into a man’s personality wrapped up in an in inquiry about philosophical concepts ... Leaf strikes a rare balance between narrative and thesis, between action and thought. - Kyle Smith, The New Criterion "Peterson and Dobbins handle their roles admirably, particularly as the emotional pitch of events escalates. Dobbins is a convincing McCarthy, shifting seamlessly between vulnerability and icy wit, while Peterson’s amorphous de Man manages to be both repulsive and pitiable. These subtleties are facilitated by Leaf’s smart script and the simple set, constituted largely of scattered books." - Ian Tuttle, National Review “ ... a REFRESHING and CONTEMPORARY take on love and philosophy.” - Ed Malin, Theatre In The Now Jonathan Leaf has been nominated for “Best Original Full-Length Script” by the New York Innovative Theatre Awards for his play “The Caterers.” His plays have been produced and performed at 59E59 Theaters, the 29th Street Rep, the Arclight Theater and The Mint. You can follow his exploits here: http://jonathanleaf.weebly.com/ We covered a lot of ground in a short period of time . . . here is the format of the podcast: You grew up Trenton and went to Yale- where did you get bitten by the writing bug? How did your experience as a teacher influence you? Let’s talk about Deconstruction- where did you get the idea to take on this affair in 1949? What are you trying to communicate to the audience? What do you want them to think about or stubble with? What are the themes that predominate in your plays? Are there any taboos or sacred cows that are in your crosshairs? When you sit down to write a play how do you go through the exercise? Do you have a set process? Then there is the process of producing a play- that seems daunting in and of itself. Take us through the story of how Deconstruction got from the blank page onto the stage? How does the casting process work? Do you find yourself writing parts with certain people in mind? What is the next step for the play? You have written a well received book on the Politically Incorrect History of the 60’s. How is that different from writing plays? Given your playwright background, are you interested in TV or movies. How does that differ from the play process?

Jonny McGovern is back on OUTSpoken & Talking with Sex is Back – Damon Jacobs Will Help Answer your Questions 2016-4-17OUTSpoken“HEY QWEEN”, THE GAYEST TALK SHOW OF ALL TIME, GETS A MAKE-OVER FOR ITS FOURTH RAUCOUS SEASON January 25, 2016 – NEW YORK: Hey Qween!, the world’s gayest talk show of all time, is getting a face-lift this winter. When the show returns for its fourth season next month, it will debut a sexy new look and sound. For three hilarious seasons, comedian Jonny McGovern and his co-host Lady Red Couture have welcomed many of the countries top LGBT and drag talent − including RuPaul, Laganga Estranja, and Candis Cayne − to their couch. On February 15th,Hey Qween! launches its fourth raucous season ontheStream.tv. “Hey Qween! is a place for gay stars and underground legends to come and tell their stories in a way they can’t on any other talk show,” explains host and executive producer, Jonny McGovern. “We cut up, have a kiki and a gay ‘ol time. Then, at the end of every show, the special guest gets a trophy and a lap dance from one of our in-house strippers! It’s a half hour of pure merriment.” “You don’t have to be gay to be on Hey Qween!,’ he adds. “Just gay friendly and ready for fun.” Lots of changes are in store for the upcoming season of Hey Qween! including a brand new set and the addition of a regular cast member. Billboard charting vocalist Adam Joseph joins the gang as bandleader of “Adam Joseph and The Go To Bed Wigs”. “For years our show has been called The Tonight Show if Johnny Carson was a big gay lumberjack and Ed McMahon was the largest drag queen in captivity,” continues McGovern. “Now we got a glittery twink version of Doc Severinsen.” Adam Joseph has a long association with Jonny McGovern. He is the voice of the Hey Qween! theme song and the music producer behind all of McGovern’s albums. The addition of a bandleader will mean more music parodies and comedy to the show. Also new will be a series of “Drag Besties” episodes, kicking off with Detox and Vicky Vox of the Drag supergroup DWV. Fan-favorite segments returning this season are “Betta As a Bitch Track”, where the show trolls the trolls, turning real life negative comments from the Internet into over-the-top “bitch tracks” and the “Look At Huh!” game, where guests share their personal stories of celebrities. Jonny “The Gay Pimp” McGovern’s career began in 2003 with Dirty Gay Hits, a collection of hilarious gay themed songs. The video release of “Soccer Practice” from the album received over three million downloads and was added to rotation on MTV Europe and MTV Asia, making Jonny an international phenomenon. Soon, he was appearing all over the airwaves, on The Ricky Lake Show, VH1’s Best Week Ever, Comedy Central’s Out on the Edge, and more. Jonny eventually caught the eye of Rosie O’Donnell, who cast him as a lead player on her LOGO-TV comedy show, The Big Gay Sketch Show. “Working with Jonny is one of the joys of my life,” says Lady Red Couture from the Hey Qween! set in Hollywood. “He’s so sweet. I’ll never forget when RuPaul came to visit and we were filming the opening banter and I messed up. So Jonny says, ‘Don’t be nervous because RuPaul is here.’ Then RuPaul says, ‘DO be nervous because RuPaul is here!’ Oh, I wet myself laughing!” “We’ve become the best of friends making Hey Qween!“ reflects Jonny McGovern of his relationship with Lady Red Couture. “She’s such a quick wit and naturally funny. People think that because I’m executive producer of the show, I also direct her. You don’t ever make Lady Red do anything. If she’s eating on the show, its cause the bitch wants a snack! I just let Lady Red be herself and that’s more than enough.” Hey Qween! has been so successful for theStream.tv, the online network launched the show as its own YouTube channel and has plans to launch a stand-alone website. The show has also spawned several spin-offs, including the Look At Huh! aftershow that began airing last spring. In March, theStream.tv will begin airing the second seasons of: Judge Lady Red, a court show with Lady Red presiding over the disputes of young queens and deciding whether it’s ‘Shade’ or ‘No Shade’; He’s Fit, a parody of fitness shows starring lap dancer Greg McKeon as he competes in flex battles against Instagram hotties; and Hot T, a bi-weekly gossip show with Julie Goldman and Brandy Howard (from Bravo’s The People’s Couch) breaking down the hot topics of the week. A new advice show, Hey Qween Can I Axe You A Question?, will premiere later this season. “We’re thrilled to bring back Hey Qween! for a fourth season,” says theStream.tv’s Susan Wrenn. “Jonny and Lady Red are both so talented and passionate about what they do. Their creativity inspires everyone here at theStream.tv.” Look for Jonny McGovern and Lady Red Couture this summer when they host Pride Festivals and bring their Hey Qween!nightclub show to cities across the country. The fourth season of Hey Qween! begins airing February 15th on theStream.tv. ————————————– WELCOME! Welcome to the American Horror Story: Freak Show Season 4 Episode 1 "Monster Among Us"! Jupiter, Florida. 1952. Conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tattler (Sarah Paulson) (who share the same entire body) are taken to the hospital after a milkman finds them injured in their home, nearby their dead mother who was brutally murdered. News spread of the twins' existence, leading local carnival freak show owner Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange) to visit them in the hospital where she attempts to recruit them to join her troupe. Although skeptical, the twins agree since they have no one else to look after them and they move in with Elsa's troupe of freaks whom include Jimmy Darling (Evan Peters), a boy with syndactyly, and his mother Ethel Darling (Kathy Bates), a bearded lady. Jimmy makes additional money by pleasuring local women with his abnormally long fingers. Meanwhile, Twisty (John Carroll Lynch) is a killer clown/serial killer who murders a teenage girl's boyfriend and a young boy's parents, imprisoning the young boy and teen girl in an old bus. Twisty later shows up at the freak show camp grounds, but goes seemingly unnoticed. When a police detective arrives and attempts to arrest Bette and Dot for the murder of their mother, Jimmy slices the man's neck open after he calls them all "freaks". Jimmy leads the troupe in hacking the corpse apart, pronouncing they are no longer going to be pushed around and made to feel different from everybody else. After Elsa's group puts on their first show with Bette and Dot as "The Siamese Twins", there are only two attendees, Gloria Mott (Frances Conroy) and her son Dandy (Finn Wittrock), who purchased all the seats for that night's performance. Dandy bargains with Elsa to buy Bette and Dot for $15,000, but the twins refuse. Elsa later tells Ethel that she brought the twins aboard to get more attention for the show and to boost her own fame. As Elsa prepares for bed, it's revealed that she is an amputee, legless below-the-knees.Join Ashley Mova, Jennessa Rose, Xavier Brinkman, and Lauren Francesca every week, live and on demand, for review and conversation about each new episode of American Horror Story.
