Mūsų eteryje – nacionalinio kraujo centro direktorius Daumantas Gutauskas.Norinčius prisidėti prie pagalbos Ukrainai premjerė Ingrida Šimonytė ragina savanoriauti nevyriausybinėse organizacijose, stoti į Šaulių sąjungą. Premjerė teigė: „Tiems žmonėms, kurie norėtų ilgalaikiškesnio pasišventimo šitiems šventiems darbams, primygtinai siūlyčiau parašyti prašymą įstoti į Šaulių sąjungą, nes tai yra ta organizacija, kuri jūsų gerą energiją panaudos pačiu geriausiu įmanomu būdu, tiek dabar, tiek ateityje, jei būtų toks poreikis, o dar pakeliui galima bus įgyti kokių nors svarbių žinių.“ Ar išaugo stojančiųjų į Šaulių sąjungą skaičius, kalbamės su Lietuvos Šaulių sąjungos vadu pulkininku Albertu Dapkumi. Lietuvoje turime apie 300-us Ukrainos kapitalo įmonių. Ved. Rūta Kupetytė

As the world moves to reduce risk to global threats, we need to recognize the vulnerabilities, connectivity, and perspectives that drive instability. Join us for international conversations addressing key challenges and risks that undermine our efforts to build more resilient societies. This podcast is brought to you by Capacity Building International (CBI) and sponsored by The International Emergency Management Society (TIEMS). Today we're joined by Lucy Easthope. Lucy is a world-leading authority on recovering from disaster. She has been at the center of the most seismic events of the last few decades, advising on everything from the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami to the 7/7 bombings, the Christchurch earthquake in New Zealand, the Grenfell fire, and the Covid-19 pandemic. In every catastrophe, Lucy is there to pick up the pieces and prepare for the next one. She holds governments to account, helps communities rally together, returns personal possessions to families, and holds the hands of the survivors. Prof. Easthope's new book "When the Dust Settles: Stories of Love, Loss and Hope from an Expert in Disaster" is coming out on the 31st of March 2022 and is available for pre-order. https://www.amazon.com/When-Dust-Settles-Stories-Disaster-ebook/dp/B09GRFX1DZ (https://www.amazon.com/When-Dust-Settles-Stories-Disaster-ebook/dp/B09GRFX1DZ ) In her moving memoir, she reveals what happens in the aftermath and explores how we pick up and rebuild with strength and perseverance. She takes us behind the police tape to scenes of destruction and chaos, introducing us to victims and their families, but also to the government briefing rooms and bunkers, where confusion and stale biscuits can reign supreme. Telling her own personal story, Lucy looks back at a life spent on the edges of disaster, from a Liverpudlian childhood steeped in the Hillsborough tragedy to the many losses and loves of her career.  Another book by Dr. Easthope "The Recovery Myth: The Plans and Situated Realities of Post-Disaster Response" (2018) provides an innovative re-examination of the 'recovery' phase of a disaster by one of the UK's most experienced disaster management specialists. Drawing on two decades of work, the book develops an ethnography of the residents and responders in one flooded village and applies this to other cases of UK flooding, as well as to post-disaster recovery in New Zealand. The book shows how localized emergency responders find ways to collaborate with residents, and how an informal network uses nationally generated instruments differently to co-produce regeneration within a community.  https://www.bookdepository.com/es/Recovery-Myth-Lucy-Easthope/9783030090203 (https://www.bookdepository.com/es/Recovery-Myth-Lucy-Easthope/9783030090203 ) Prof. Easthope can be reached via such channels: Twitter - https://twitter.com/LucyGoBag?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor (https://twitter.com/LucyGoBag?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor)  This podcast is brought to you in partnership between Capacity Building International (CBI) and The International Emergency Management Society (TIEMS). Ved. In the latest of our series of podcasts (in partnership with The International Emergency Managers Society – TIEMS, and Capacity Building International - CBI) our speakers will explore more of the key lessons and themes that have emerged from the Covid-19 crisis, concentrating on the perspectives of strengthening resilience planning and the implications for the emergency management profession going forward. We will examine how Covid-19 has required different ways of resilience partnership working in the UK, placing new demands on emergency managers; the dynamics of national direction of responses to a health-led emergency, and some of the early challenges of planning for recovery and renewal at the local level. In introducing a subject that we will explore in further detail with TIEMS, later in this series, we also ask the question of how prepared for Covid-19 the Emergency Management profession feels it was, the challenges that may have arisen for members of TIEMS, and the opportunities for further enhancing the work of the profession. Panel: Duncan Shaw - Professor of Operational Research and Critical Systems, Alliance Manchester Business School David Powell - Principal Advisor in Recovery, Renewal, Resilience, Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute Harald Dragar – President of The International Emergency Managers Society (TIEMS)

Lietuvos kelionių organizatorius ir agentūras vienijanti Lietuvos turizmo asociacija viešu laišku kreipėsi į Seimo narius, prašydama gelbėti kritinėje situacijoje atsidūrusį verslą bei būsimas žmonių keliones. Seimas jau priėmė būtinus įstatymų pakeitimus, numatančius kelionių kupono siūlymą kaip alternatyvą žmogui, norinčiam atidėti atostogas. Tiems, kuriems toks siūlymas netiktų, iki 6 mėnesių būtų ilginamas pinigų grąžinimo terminas. Tačiau šiuos įstatymų pakeitimus vetavo prezidentas, todėl jie buvo grąžinti atgal į Seimą. Kelionių organizatoriai teigia, kad, jeigu Seimas pritars prezidento veto, turizmo rinkos laukia bankrotų virtinė, o vartotojų teisų gynėjai mano, kad naujovės – ne keliautojų naudai, nes jie būtų paversti turizmo verslo kreditoriais.Dalyvauja: Lietuvos turizmo asociacijos vadovė Milda Plepytė-Rainienė, turizmo teisės ekspertas advokatas Edmundas Rusinas, Vartotojų organizacijų aljanso viceprezidentas Kęstutis Kupšys, Seimo Ekonomikos komiteto narys Jurgis Razma.Ved.
