[06:32] Sean's Journey of Resilience and Entrepreneurship: From Crisis to Purpose · In 2009, Sean Cannell faced a life-changing crisis when his wife Sonia fell seriously ill. · Despite their financial struggles and the collapse of their church community, Sean chose to take on the challenge. · Sean had been involved in video work in a local church context for years before the crisis, providing a foundation for his later endeavors. · The crisis pushed Sean to explore ways to earn money from home through his video skills, not for fame but to pay medical bills and provide for his family. · This began his entrepreneurial journey, eventually leading to his success in online video and entrepreneurship. The tiresome monotony of working at a machine for long hours and the lack of purpose in his older jobs led him to discover opportunities elsewhere. To top it all, when moving back to Rochester, Jman had a lousy experience buying a house—and that's where the interest in real estate came about. He started working at a large, independently owned brokerage in Rochester to learn the real estate business but found that the management was too micromanaging. That's when he decided to move to REMAX, where he found more freedom to develop his brand, and came up with his nickname "Jman" because the brokerage wouldn't release his name, and thus began his real estate investing journey.After giving it significant thought, Jman finally uncovered that, just like anyone else, he wanted to align toward his goal of making a difference in the world and living a life worth living. In his experience in the real estate industry, he initially struggled with feeling like his contributions needed to be recognized. He eventually started volunteering and working his way up to leadership positions. Through volunteering, he was able to have a positive impact on the industry and train other agents to be better in technology and serve their clients better. It's not about the money for him, but rather making a difference and helping others.
